The absolute branching fractions of $D_{s1}(2536)^- \rightarrow \bar{D}^{*0}K^-$ and $D_{s2}^*(2573)^- \rightarrow \bar{D}^0K^-$ are measured for the first time to be $(35.9\pm 4.8\pm 3.5)\%$ and $(37.4\pm 3.1\pm 4.6)\%$, respectively. The measurements are in tension with predictions based on the assumption that the $D_{s1}(2536)$ and $D_{s2}^*(2573)$ are dominated by a bare $c\bar{s}$ component. The $e^+e^-\rightarrow D_s^+D_{s1}(2536)^-$ and $e^+e^-\rightarrow D_s^+D^*_{s2}(2573)^-$ cross sections are measured, and a resonant structure at around 4.6~GeV with a width of 50~MeV is observed for the first time with a statistical significance of $15σ$ in the $e^+e^-\rightarrow D_s^+D^*_{s2}(2573)^-$ process. It could be the $Y(4626)$ found by the Belle collaboration in the $D_s^+D_{s1}(2536)^{-}$ final state, since they have similar masses and widths. There is also evidence for a structure at around 4.75~GeV in both processes.

Collaborative review and revision of textual documents is the core of knowledge work and a promising target for empirical analysis and NLP assistance. Yet, a holistic framework that would allow modeling complex relationships between document revisions, reviews and author responses is lacking. To address this gap, we introduce Re3, a framework for joint analysis of collaborative document revision. We instantiate this framework in the scholarly domain, and present Re3-Sci, a large corpus of aligned scientific paper revisions manually labeled according to their action and intent, and supplemented with the respective peer reviews and human-written edit summaries. We use the new data to provide first empirical insights into collaborative document revision in the academic domain, and to assess the capabilities of state-of-the-art LLMs at automating edit analysis and facilitating text-based collaboration. We make our annotation environment and protocols, the resulting data and experimental code publicly available.

The ratio $R_{h_c}=\frac{\mathscr{B}(h_c\rightarrowγη)}{\mathscr{B}(h_c\rightarrowγη^\prime)}$ is calculated to be $(27.0\pm4.4\pm1.0)\%$. The measurements are consistent with the previous results with improved precision by a factor of 2. The results are valuable for gaining a deeper understanding of $η-η^\prime$ mixing, and its manifestation within quantum chromodynamics. No significant signal is found for the decay $h_c\rightarrowγπ^{0}$, and an upper limit is placed on its branching fraction of $\mathscr{B}(h_c\rightarrowγπ^{0})<5.0\times10^{-5}$, at the 90\% confidence level.

We report on a comprehensive multi-wavelength study of the pulsars in the globular cluster (GC) M5, including the discovery of M5G, a new compact non-eclipsing "black widow" pulsar. Thanks to the analysis of 34 years of radio data taken with the FAST and Arecibo telescopes, we obtained new phase-connected timing solutions for four pulsars in the clusters and improved those of the other three known pulsars. These have resulted in, among other things: a) much improved proper motions for five pulsars, with transverse velocities that are smaller than their respective escape velocities; b) 3-sigma and 1.5-sigma detections of Shapiro delays in M5F and M5D, respectively; c) greatly improved measurement of the periastron advance in M5B, whose value of 0.01361(6) implies that M5B is still likely to be a heavy neutron star. The binary pulsars M5D, E and F are confirmed to be in low-eccentricity binary systems, the low-mass companions of which are newly identified to be He white dwarfs using Hubble Space Telescope data. Four pulsars are also found to be associated with X-ray sources. Similarly to the eclipsing pulsar M5C, M5G shows little or no non-thermal X-ray emission, indicative of weak synchrotron radiation produced by intra-binary shocks. All the seven pulsars known in M5 have short spin periods and five are in binary systems with low orbital eccentricities. These characteristics differ from the overall GC pulsar population, but confirm the expectations for the pulsar population in a cluster with a small rate of stellar encounters per binary system.

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a clinicopathological syndrome characterized by hepatic steatosis resulting from the exclusion of alcohol and other identifiable liver-damaging factors. It has emerged as a leading cause of chronic liver disease worldwide. Currently, the conventional methods for NAFLD detection are expensive and not suitable for users to perform daily diagnostics. To address this issue, this study proposes a non-invasive and interpretable NAFLD diagnostic method, the required user-provided indicators are only Gender, Age, Height, Weight, Waist Circumference, Hip Circumference, and tongue image. This method involves merging patients' physiological indicators with tongue features, which are then input into a fusion network named SelectorNet. SelectorNet combines attention mechanisms with feature selection mechanisms, enabling it to autonomously learn the ability to select important features. The experimental results show that the proposed method achieves an accuracy of 77.22\% using only non-invasive data, and it also provides compelling interpretability matrices. This study contributes to the early diagnosis of NAFLD and the intelligent advancement of TCM tongue diagnosis. The project mentioned in this paper is currently publicly available.

Flat optics consisting of nanostructures of high-refractive-index materials produce lenses with thin form factors that tend to operate only at specific wavelengths. Recent attempts to achieve achromatic lenses uncover a trade-off between the numerical aperture (NA) and bandwidth, which limits performance. Here we propose a new approach to design high NA, broadband and polarization-insensitive multilayer achromatic metalenses (MAM). We combine topology optimization and full wave simulations to inversely design MAMs and fabricate the structures in low-refractive-index materials by two-photon polymerization lithography. MAMs measuring 20 micrometer in diameter operating in the visible range of 400-800 nm with 0.5 NA and 0.7 NA were achieved with efficiencies of up to 42%. We demonstrate broadband imaging performance of the fabricated MAM under white light, and RGB narrowband illuminations. These results highlight the potential of the 3D printed multilayer structures for realizing broadband and multi-functional meta-devices with inverse design.

Tongue segmentation serves as the primary step in automated TCM tongue diagnosis, which plays a significant role in the diagnostic results. Currently, numerous deep learning based methods have achieved promising results. However, when confronted with tongue images that differ from the training set or possess challenging backgrounds, these methods demonstrate limited performance. To address this issue, this paper proposes a universal tongue segmentation model named TongueSAM based on SAM (Segment Anything Model). SAM is a large-scale pretrained interactive segmentation model known for its powerful zero-shot generalization capability. Applying SAM to tongue segmentation leverages its learned prior knowledge from natural images, enabling the achievement of zero-shot segmentation for various types of tongue images. In this study, a Prompt Generator based on object detection is integrated into SAM to enable an end-to-end automated tongue segmentation method. Experiments demonstrate that TongueSAM achieves exceptional performance across various of tongue segmentation datasets, particularly under zero-shot. Even when dealing with challenging background tongue images, TongueSAM achieves a mIoU of 95.23\% under zero-shot conditions, surpassing other segmentation methods. As far as we know, this is the first application of large-scale pretrained model for tongue segmentation. The project mentioned in this paper is currently publicly available.

The colourful wings of butterflies result from the interaction between light and the intricate chitinous nanostructures on butterflies' scales. This study demonstrates that just by reproducing the chitinous ridges present in butterfly scales (i.e., without any other secondary structure), the entire colour palette is achieved. This result was achieved using a new methodology based on the controlled reproduction of parts of the biological structure of complex chitinous systems using their native chemistry, enabling the isolation of different features' contributions. Here we isolate the contribution of the ridges and their variations as producing and modulating colour hue. The results suggest that complicated butterfly scales may be non-ideal solutions for producing colour when multifunctionality is not considered.

Two-dimensional van der Waals (2D-vdW) layered hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) has gained tremendous research interest over recent years due to its unconventional domain growth morphology, fascinating properties and application potentials as an excellent dielectric layer for 2D-based nano-electronics. However, the unidirectional domain growth of h-BN thin films directly on insulating substrates remains significantly challenging because of high-bonding anisotropicity and complex growth kinetics than the conventional thin films growth, thus resulting in the formation of randomly oriented domains morphology, and hindering its usefulness in integrated nano-devices. Here, ultra-wide bandgap h-BN thin films are grown directly on low-miscut atomically smooth highly insulating c-plane sapphire substrates (without using any metal catalytic layer) by pulsed laser deposition, showing remarkable unidirectional triangular-shape domains morphology. This unidirectional domain growth is attributed to the step-edge guided nucleation caused by reducing the film-substrate interfacial symmetry and energy, thereby breaking the degeneracy of nucleation sites of random domains, as revealed by the density functional theory (DFT) calculations. Through extensive characterizations, we further demonstrate the excellent single crystal-like functional properties of films. Our findings might pave the way for feasible large-area direct growth of electronic-quality h-BN thin films on insulating substrates for high-performance 2D-electronics, and in addition would be beneficial for hetero engineering of 2D-vdW materials with emergent phenomena.

The orbital angular momentum (OAM) of light holds great promise for applications in optical communication, super-resolution imaging, and high-dimensional quantum computing. However, the spatio-temporal coherence of the light source has been essential for generating OAM beams, as incoherent ambient light would result in polychromatic and obscured OAM beams in the visible spectrum. Here, we extend the applications of OAM to ambient lighting conditions. By miniaturizing spiral phase plates and integrating them with structural color filters, we achieve spatio-temporal coherence using only an incoherent white light source. These optical elements act as building blocks that encode both color and OAM information in the form of colorful optical vortices. Thus, pairs of transparent substrates that contain matching positions of these vortices constitute a reciprocal optical lock and key system. Due to the multiple helical eigenstates of OAM, the pairwise coupling can be further extended to form a one-to-many matching and validation scheme. Generating and decoding colorful optical vortices with broadband white light could find potential applications in anti-counterfeiting, optical metrology, high-capacity optical encryption, and on-chip 3D photonic devices.

Under white light illumination, gratings produce an angular distribution of wavelengths dependent on the diffraction order and geometric parameters. However, previous studies of gratings are limited to at least one geometric parameter (height, periodicity, orientation, angle of incidence) kept constant. Here, we vary all geometric parameters in the gratings using a versatile nanofabrication technique, two-photon polymerization lithography, to encode hidden color information through 2 design approaches. The first approach hides color information by decoupling the effects of grating height and periodicity under normal and oblique incidence. The second approach hides multiple sets of color information by arranging gratings in sectors around semi-circular pixels. Different images are revealed with negligible crosstalk under oblique incidence and varying sample rotation angles. Our analysis shows that an angular separation >= 10° between adjacent sectors is required to suppress crosstalk. This work has potential applications in information storage and security watermarks.

Transformer-based language models usually treat texts as linear sequences. However, most texts also have an inherent hierarchical structure, i.e., parts of a text can be identified using their position in this hierarchy. In addition, section titles usually indicate the common topic of their respective sentences. We propose a novel approach to formulate, extract, encode and inject hierarchical structure information explicitly into an extractive summarization model based on a pre-trained, encoder-only Transformer language model (HiStruct+ model), which improves SOTA ROUGEs for extractive summarization on PubMed and arXiv substantially. Using various experimental settings on three datasets (i.e., CNN/DailyMail, PubMed and arXiv), our HiStruct+ model outperforms a strong baseline collectively, which differs from our model only in that the hierarchical structure information is not injected. It is also observed that the more conspicuous hierarchical structure the dataset has, the larger improvements our method gains. The ablation study demonstrates that the hierarchical position information is the main contributor to our model's SOTA performance.

Reconfigurable metamaterials require constituent nanostructures to demonstrate switching of shapes with external stimuli. For generality, such nanostructures would touch and stick to other surfaces in one of its configurations. Yet, a longstanding challenge is in overcoming this stiction caused by Van der Waals forces, which impedes shape recovery. Here, we introduce a stiff yet self-recovering material system based on acrylic acid, and tested it in high-aspect ratio structures, where recovery is weak. This designer material has a storage modulus of ~5.2 GPa at room temperature and ~90 MPa in the rubbery state at 150 Celsius, an order of magnitude higher than previous reports. A high-resolution resin for two-photon lithography was developed based on this polymer system, enabling 3D printing of nanopillars with diameters of ~400 nm and aspect ratio as high as ~10. Experimentally, we observed self-recovery as collapsed and touching structures overcome stiction to stand back up. We developed a theoretical model to explain the recoverability of these sub-micron structures. Reconfigurable structural colour prints and holograms were demonstrated, indicating potential applications of the material system as a shape memory polymer suitable for sub-micron reconfigurable metamaterials.

In this paper, a novel approach via embedded tensor manifold regularization for 2D+3D facial expression recognition (FERETMR) is proposed. Firstly, 3D tensors are constructed from 2D face images and 3D face shape models to keep the structural information and correlations. To maintain the local structure (geometric information) of 3D tensor samples in the low-dimensional tensors space during the dimensionality reduction, the $\ell_0$-norm of the core tensors and a tensor manifold regularization scheme embedded on core tensors are adopted via a low-rank truncated Tucker decomposition on the generated tensors. As a result, the obtained factor matrices will be used for facial expression classification prediction. To make the resulting tensor optimization more tractable, $\ell_1$-norm surrogate is employed to relax $\ell_0$-norm and hence the resulting tensor optimization problem has a nonsmooth objective function due to the $\ell_1$-norm and orthogonal constraints from the orthogonal Tucker decomposition. To efficiently tackle this tensor optimization problem, we establish the first-order optimality condition in terms of stationary points, and then design a block coordinate descent (BCD) algorithm with convergence analysis and the computational complexity. It remains a challenge to directly print three-dimensional arbitrary shapes that exhibit structural colors at the micrometer scale. Woodpile photonic crystals (WPCs) fabricated via two-photon lithography (TPL) are promising as building blocks to produce 3D geometries that generate structural colors due to their ability to exhibit either omnidirectional or anisotropic photonic stopbands. However, existing approaches have focused on achieving structural colors when illuminating WPCs from the top, which necessitates print resolutions beyond the limit of commercial TPL and/or post-processing techniques. Here, we devised a new strategy to support high-order photonic cavity modes upon side-illumination on WPCs that surprisingly generate large reflectance peaks in the visible spectrum. Based on that, we demonstrate one-step printing of 3D photonic structural colors without requiring post-processing or subwavelength features. Vivid colors with reflectance peaks exhibiting a full width at half maximum of ~25 nm, a maximum reflectance of 50%, gamut of ~85% of sRGB, and large viewing angles, were achieved. In addition, we also demonstrated voxel-level manipulation and control of colors in arbitrary-shaped 3D objects constituted with WPCs as unit cells, which has great potential for applications in dynamic color displays, colorimetric sensing, anti-counterfeiting, and light-matter interaction platforms.

Under the conventional variational inference (VI) framework, the analytically tractable solution to the optimization of the variational posterior distribution cannot be obtained, since the variational object function involves evaluation of intractable moments. With the recently proposed extended variational inference (EVI) framework, a new function is proposed to replace the original variational object function in order to avoid intractable moment computation, so that the analytically tractable solution of the IBLMM can be derived in an elegant way. The good performance of the proposed approach is demonstrated by experiments with both synthesized data and a real-world application namely text categorization.

In this paper, we are inspired by Ngô, Nguyen and Phan's [15] study of the pointwise inequality for positive $C^{4}$-solutions of biharmonic equations with negative exponent by using the growth condition of solutions. They propose an open question of whether the growth condition is necessary to obtain the pointwise inequality. We give a positive answer to this open question. We establish the following local pointwise inequality $$-\frac{Δu}{u}+α\frac{|\nabla u|^{2}}{u^{2}}+βu^{-\frac{q+1}{2}}\leq\frac{C}{R^{2}}$$ for positive $C^{4}$-solutions of the biharmonic equations with negative exponent $$-Δ^{2}u=u^{-q} \ in \ B_{R}$$ where $B_{R}$ denotes the ball centered at $x_{0}$ with radius $R$, $n\geq3$, $q>1$, and some constants $α\geq0$, $β>0$, $C>0$.

Colour changes can be achieved by straining photonic crystals or gratings embedded in stretchable materials. However, the multiple repeat units and the need for a volumetric assembly of nanostructures limit the density of information content. Inspired by surface reliefs on oracle bones and music records as means of information archival, here we endow surface-relief elastomers with multiple sets of information that are accessible by mechanical straining along in-plane axes. Distinct from Bragg diffraction effects from periodic structures, we report trenches that generate colour due to variations in trench depth, enabling individual trench segments to support a single colour. Using 3D printed cuboids, we replicated trenches of varying geometric parameters in elastomers. These parameters determine the initial colour (or lack thereof), the response to capillary forces, and the appearance when strained along or across the trenches. Strain induces modulation in trench depth or the opening and closure of a trench, resulting in surface reliefs with up to six distinct states, and an initially featureless surface that reveals two distinct images when stretched along different axes. The highly reversible structural colours are promising in optical data archival, anti-counterfeiting, and strain-sensing applications.

Borophene, a monoatomic layer of boron atoms, stands out among two-dimensional (2D) materials, with its versatile properties of polymorphism, metallicity, plasmonics, superconductivity, tantalizing for physics exploration and next-generation devices. Yet its phases are all synthesized on and stay bound to metal substrates, hampering both characterization and use. The growth on the inert insulator would allow post-synthesis exfoliation of borophene, but its weak adhesion to such substrate results in a very high 2D-nucleation barrier preventing clean borophene growth. This challenge can be circumvented in a devised and demonstrated here, with ab initio calculations, strategy. Naturally present 1D-defects, the step-edges on h-BN substrate surface, enable boron epitaxial assembly, reduce the nucleation dimensionality and lower the barrier by an order of magnitude (to 1.1 eV or less), yielding v1/9 phase. Weak borophene adhesion to the insulator makes it readily accessible for comprehensive property tests or transfer into the device setting.

While structural colors are ubiquitous in nature, saturated reds are mysteriously absent. Hence, a longstanding problem is in fabricating nanostructured surfaces that exhibit reflectance approaching the theoretical limit. This limit is termed the Schrodinger red and demands sharp spectral transitions from "stopband" to a high reflectance "passband" with total suppression of higher-order resonances at blue and green wavelengths. Current approaches based on metallic or dielectric nanoantennas are insufficient to simultaneously meet these conditions. Here, for the 1st time, we designed and fabricated tall Si nanoantenna arrays on quartz substrate to support two partially overlap** y polarized quasi bound-state-in-the-continuum (q-BIC) modes in the red wavelengths with sharp spectral edges. These structures produce possibly the most saturated and brightest reds with ~80% reflectance, exceeding the red vertex in sRGB and even the cadmium red pigment. We employed a gradient descent algorithm with structures supporting q BIC as the starting point. Although the current design is polarization dependent, the proposed paradigm has enabled us to achieve the elusive structural red and the design principle could be generalized to Schrodinger's pixels of other colors. The design is suitable for scale up using other nanofabrication techniques for larger area applications, such as red pixels in displays, decorative coatings, and miniaturized spectrometers with high wavelength selectivity.

Crowd counting aims to predict the number of people and generate the density map in the image. There are many challenges, including varying head scales, the diversity of crowd distribution across images and cluttered backgrounds. In this paper, we propose a multi-scale context aggregation network (MSCANet) based on single-column encoder-decoder architecture for crowd counting, which consists of an encoder based on a dense context-aware module (DCAM) and a hierarchical attention-guided decoder. To handle the issue of scale variation, we construct the DCAM to aggregate multi-scale contextual information by densely connecting the dilated convolution with varying receptive fields. The proposed DCAM can capture rich contextual information of crowd areas due to its long-range receptive fields and dense scale sampling. Moreover, to suppress the background noise and generate a high-quality density map, we adopt a hierarchical attention-guided mechanism in the decoder. This helps to integrate more useful spatial information from shallow feature maps of the encoder by introducing multiple supervision based on semantic attention module (SAM). Extensive experiments demonstrate that the proposed approach achieves better performance than other similar state-of-the-art methods on three challenging benchmark datasets for crowd counting. A light field print (LFP) displays three-dimensional (3D) information to the naked-eye observer under ambient white light illumination. Changing perspectives of a 3D image are seen by the observer from varying angles. However, LFPs appear pixelated due to limited resolution and misalignment between their lenses and colour pixels. A promising solution to create high-resolution LFPs is through the use of advanced nanofabrication techniques. Here, we use two-photon polymerization lithography as a one-step nanoscale 3D printer to directly fabricate LFPs out of transparent resin. This approach produces simultaneously high spatial resolution (29 - 45 μm) and high angular resolution (~ 1.6 °) images with smooth motion parallax across 15 {\times} 15 views. Notably, the smallest colour pixel consists of only a single nanopillar (~ 300 nm diameter). Our LFP signifies a step towards hyper-realistic 3D images that can be applied in print media and security tags for high-value goods.

Nearly two-dimensional diamond, or diamane, is coveted as ultrathin $sp^3$-carbon film with unique mechanics and electro-optics. The very thinness ($~h$) makes it possible for the surface chemistry, e.g. adsorbed atoms, to shift the bulk phase thermodynamics in favor of diamond, from multilayer graphene. Thermodynamic theory coupled with atomistic first principles computations predicts not only the reduction of required pressure ($p/p_{\infty}>1-h_0/h$), but also the nucleation barriers, definitive for the kinetic feasibility of diamane formation. Moreover, the optimal adsorbent chair-pattern on a bilayer graphene results in a cubic diamond lattice, while for thicker precursors the adsorbent boat-structure tends to produce hexagonal diamond (lonsdaleite), if graphene was in AA` stacking to start with. As adsorbents, H and F are conducive to diamond formation, while Cl appears sterically hindered.

Varying only the in-plane or out-of-plane dimensions of nanostructures produces a wide range of colourful elements in metasurfaces and thin films. However, achieving shades of grey and control of colour saturation remains challenging. Here, we introduce a hybrid approach to colour generation based on the tuning of nanostructure geometry in all three dimensions. Through two-photon polymerization lithography, we systematically investigated colour generation from the simple single nanopillar geometry made of low-refractive-index material; realizing grayscale and full colour palettes with control of hue, saturation, brightness through tuning of height, diameter, and periodicity of nanopillars. Arbitrary colourful and grayscale images were painted by map** desired prints to precisely controllable parameters during 3D printing. We extend our understanding of the scattering properties of the low-refractive-index nanopillar to demonstrate grayscale inversion and colour desaturation, with steganography at the level of single nanopillars.

Contemporary person re-identification (\reid) methods usually require access to data from the deployment camera network during training in order to perform well. This is because contemporary \reid{} models trained on one dataset do not generalise to other camera networks due to the domain-shift between datasets. This requirement is often the bottleneck for deploying \reid{} systems in practical security or commercial applications, as it may be impossible to collect this data in advance or prohibitively costly to annotate it. This paper alleviates this issue by proposing a simple baseline for domain generalizable~(DG) person re-identification. That is, to learn a \reid{} model from a set of source domains that is suitable for application to unseen datasets out-of-the-box, without any model updating. Specifically, we observe that the domain discrepancy in \reid{} is due to style and content variance across datasets and demonstrate appropriate Instance and Feature Normalization alleviates much of the resulting domain-shift in Deep \reid{} models. Instance Normalization~(IN) in early layers filters out style statistic variations and Feature Normalization~(FN) in deep layers is able to further eliminate disparity in content statistics. Compared to contemporary alternatives, this approach is extremely simple to implement, while being faster to train and test, thus making it an extremely valuable baseline for implementing \reid{} in practice. With a few lines of code, it increases the rank 1 \reid{} accuracy by {11.8\%, 33.2\%, 12.8\% and 8.5\%} on the VIPeR, PRID, GRID, and i-LIDS benchmarks respectively. As one of the decentralized framework, Sapiens Chain was proposed to protect cybersecurity by scheduling the computational resources dynamically, which were owned by Computational Resources Owners (CROs). However, when CROs in the same pool attack each other, all CROs will earn less. In this paper, we tackle the problem of prisoner's dilemma from the perspective of CROs. We first define a game that a CRO infiltrates another pool and perform an attack. In such game, the honest CRO can control the payoffs and increase its revenue. By simulating this game, we propose to apply Zero Determinant (ZD) strategy on strategy decision, which can be categorized into cooperation and defecting. Most existing Convolutional Neural Networks(CNNs) used for action recognition are either difficult to optimize or underuse crucial temporal information. Inspired by the fact that the recurrent model consistently makes breakthroughs in the task related to sequence, we propose a novel Multi-Level Recurrent Residual Networks(MRRN) which incorporates three recognition streams. Each stream consists of a Residual Networks(ResNets) and a recurrent model. The proposed model captures spatiotemporal information by employing both alternative ResNets to learn spatial representations from static frames and stacked Simple Recurrent Units(SRUs) to model temporal dynamics. Three distinct-level streams learned low-, mid-, high-level representations independently are fused by computing a weighted average of their softmax scores to obtain the complementary representations of the video. Unlike previous models which boost performance at the cost of time complexity and space complexity, our models have a lower complexity by employing shortcut connection and are trained end-to-end with greater efficiency. MRRN displays significant performance improvements compared to CNN-RNN framework baselines and obtains comparable performance with the state-of-the-art, achieving 51.3% on HMDB-51 dataset and 81.9% on UCF-101 dataset although no additional data.

The anisotropic Fe K-edge spectra exhibit a chemical shift to lower energy compared to FeO which are closely related to the itinerant character of Fe^{2+}-3d^6 orbitals. The anisotropic As K-edge spectra are more or less the mirror images of Fe K-edge due to the symmetrical Fe-As hybridiztion in the FeAs layer. Angular dependence of As main peak (dipole transition of As-1s electrons to higher energy hybrid bands) was observed suggesting character of As-4d e_g orbitals.

The anisotropic low-field phase diagram with the variation of lower critical field gives a zero-temperature penetration depth $λ_{c}$(0) = 280 nm and $λ_{ab}$(0) = 120 nm. The magnetic fluctuation used for powder alignment at 300 K may be related with the pairing mechanism of superconductivity at lower temperature.

An Elliptic Type Gradient Estimate For the Schrödinger Equation
Authors:
Qihua Ruan
Abstract:
In this paper, the author discusses the elliptic type gradient estimate for the solution of the time-dependent Schrödinger equations on noncompact manifolds. As its application, the dimension-free Harnack inequality and the Liouville type theorem for the Schrödinger equation are proved.

Abstract:
In this short note, we find a new gap phenomena on Riemannian manifolds, which says that for any complete noncompact Riemannian manifold with nonnegative Ricci curvature, if the scalar curvature decays faster than quadratically, then it is Ricci flat.

Abstract:
Let M be a complete n-dimensional Riemannian manifold, if the sobolev inqualities hold on M, then the geodesic ball has maximal volume growth; if the Ricci curvature of M is nonnegative, and one of the general Sobolev inequalities holds on M, then M is diffeomorphic to $R^{n}$.

The normal state resistivtity, upper critical field $H_{c2}$ and Hall coefficient $R_H$ in superconducting perovskite $MgCNi_3$ ($T_c \approx 8 K$) have been studied. Above 70 K, $ρ(T)$ fits well curve predicted by Bloch-Grüneisen theory consistently with electron-phonon scattering. $H_{c2}(0)$ was estimated to be about 15.0 Tesla within the weak-coupling BCS theory, and the superconducting coherence length $ξ(0)$ is approximately 47 Å. $R_H$ of $MgCNi_3$ is negative for the whole temperature range which definitely indicates that the carrier in $MgCNi_3$ is electron-type. $R_H$ is temperature independent between $T_c$ and $\sim$ 140 K. Above $\sim$ 140 K, the magnitude of $R_H$ decreases as temperature rises. At T = 100 K, the carrier density is $1.0 \times 10^{22}/cm^3$, which is comparable with that in perovskite $(Ba,K)BiO_3$, and less than that of the metallic binary $MgB_2$.
