We provide a set of theoretical constraints on models in which the Standard Model field content is extended by vector-like fermions and in some cases also by a real scalar singlet. Our approach is based on the study of electroweak vacuum stability, perturbativity of model couplings and gauge couplings unification with the use of renormalization group equations. We show that careful analysis of these issues leads to strong constraints on the parameter space of the considered models. This, in turn, has important implications for phenomenology, as we show using examples of the electroweak phase transition and the double Higgs boson production.

We propose a method of measuring the CP-odd part of the Yukawa interaction of Higgs boson and $τ$ leptons by observing the forward-backward asymmetry in the decay $H \to τ^+ \, τ^- \, γ$. The source of such asymmetry is the interference of the CP-even loop-level contribution coming from $H \to Z \, γ\to τ^+ \, τ^- \, γ$ decay channel with the contribution from tree-level CP-odd Yukawa interaction. We find that the CP violating effect is maximum when the invariant mass of the $τ^+ \, τ^-$ pair is equal to the mass of the $Z$ boson. We propose and utilise various Dalitz plot asymmetries to quantify the maximal size of the asymmetry and perform Monte Carlo simulations to study the feasibility of measuring it in the high luminosity phase of the Large Hadron Collider (HL-LHC).

We present version 3 of SmeftFR, a Mathematica package designed to generate the Feynman rules for the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT) including the complete set of gauge invariant operators up to dimension-6 and the complete set of bosonic operators of dimension-8. Feynman rules are generated with the use of FeynRules package, directly in the physical (mass eigenstates) basis for all fields. The complete set of interaction vertices can be derived, including all or any chosen subset of SMEFT operators. As an option, the user can also choose preferred gauge fixing, generating Feynman rules in unitary or $R_ξ$-gauges. The novel feature in version-3 of SmeftFR is its ability to calculate SMEFT interactions consistently up to dimension-8 in EFT expansion (including quadratic dimension-6 terms) and express the vertices directly in terms of user-defined set of input-parameters. The derived Lagrangian in the mass basis can be exported in various formats supported by FeynRules, such as UFO, FeynArts etc. Initialisation of numerical values of Wilson coefficients of higher dimension operators is interfaced to WCxf format. The package also includes a dedicated Latex generator allowing to print the result in clear human-readable form. The SmeftFR v3 is publicly available at www.fuw.edu.pl/smeft.

Using the well established principles of Lorentz invariance, CP and CPT symmetry, and quantum statistics we do a model-independent study of effects of possible non-standard couplings of (Dirac and Majorana) neutrinos. The study is sensitive to the different quantum statistical properties of the Dirac and Majorana neutrinos which, contrary to neutrino-mediated processes of lepton number violation, could lead to observable effects not suppressed by the small ratios of neutrino and heavier particle masses. For processes with a neutrino-antineutrino pair of the same flavor in the final state, we formulate the ``Dirac Majorana confusion theorem (DMCT)'' showing why it is normally very difficult to observe the different behaviour of both kinds of neutrinos in experiments if they have only the standard model (SM)-like left-handed vector couplings to gauge bosons. We discuss deviations from the confusion theorem in the presence of non-standard neutrino interactions, allowing to discover or constrain such novel couplings. We illustrate the general results with two chosen examples of neutral current processes, $Z \to ν\, \overlineν$ and $\mathcal{P}_i \to \mathcal{P}_f \, ν\, \overlineν$ (with $\mathcal{P}_{i,f}$ denoting pseudoscalar mesons, such as $B,K,π$). Our analysis shows that using 3-body decays the presence of non-standard interactions can not only be constrained but one can also distinguish between Dirac and Majorana neutrino possibilities.

Flavour oscillations of sub-GeV atmospheric neutrinos and antineutrinos, traversing different distances inside the Earth, are a promising source of information on the leptonic CP phase $δ$. In that energy range, the oscillations are very fast, far beyond the resolution of modern neutrino detectors. However, the necessary averaging over the experimentally typical energy and azimuthal angle bins does not wash out the CP violation effects. In this paper we derive very accurate analytic compact expressions for the averaged oscillations probabilities. Assuming spherically symmetric Earth, the averaged oscillation probabilities are described in terms of two analytically calculable effective parameters. Based on those expressions, we estimate maximal magnitude of CP-violation effects in such measurements and propose optimal observables best suited to determine the value of the CP phase in the PMNS mixing matrix.

It is based on the numerical comparison of squared amplitudes computed at specific phase-space and parameter points in pairs of implementations. Interactions are fully linearised in the effective field theory expansion. The squares of linear effective field theory amplitudes and their interference with standard-model contributions are compared separately. Such pairwise comparisons are primarily performed at tree level and a possible extension to the one-loop level is also briefly considered. The discovery of the Higgs boson in 2012, by the ATLAS and CMS experiments, was a success achieved with only a percent of the entire dataset foreseen for the LHC. It opened a landscape of possibilities in the study of Higgs boson properties, Electroweak Symmetry breaking and the Standard Model in general, as well as new avenues in probing new physics beyond the Standard Model. Six years after the discovery, with a conspicuously larger dataset collected during LHC Run 2 at a 13 TeV centre-of-mass energy, the theory and experimental particle physics communities have started a meticulous exploration of the potential for precision measurements of its properties. This includes studies of Higgs boson production and decays processes, the search for rare decays and production modes, high energy observables, and searches for an extended electroweak symmetry breaking sector. This report summarises the potential reach and opportunities in Higgs physics during the High Luminosity phase of the LHC, with an expected dataset of pp collisions at 14 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 ab$^{-1}$. These studies are performed in light of the most recent analyses from LHC collaborations and the latest theoretical developments. The potential of an LHC upgrade, colliding protons at a centre-of-mass energy of 27 TeV and producing a dataset corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 15 ab$^{-1}$, is also discussed.

These contributions for scalars and gauge bosons should be carefully included in the gauge fixing procedure, in order to end up with a convenient set of Feynman rules. We develop such a setup for the linear R_xi-gauges. It involves a suitable reduction of the operator basis, a generalized gauge fixing term, and a corresponding ghost sector. Our approach extends previous results for the dimension-six Standard Model Effective Field Theory to a generic class of effective theories with operators of arbitrary dimension.

Assuming that new physics effects are parametrized by the Standard-Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT) written in a complete basis of up to dimension-6 operators, we calculate the CP-conserving one-loop amplitude for the decay $h\to γγ$ in general $R_ξ$-gauges. We employ a simple renormalisation scheme that is hybrid between on-shell SM-like renormalised parameters and running $\overline{\mathrm{MS}}$ Wilson coefficients. The resulting amplitude is then finite, renormalisation scale invariant, independent of the gauge choice ($ξ$) and respects SM Ward identities. Remarkably, the $S$-matrix amplitude calculation resembles very closely the one usually known from renormalisable theories and can be automatised to a high degree. We use this gauge invariant amplitude and recent LHC data to check upon sensitivity to various Wilson coefficients entering from a more complete theory at the matching energy scale. We present a closed expression for the ratio $\mathcal{R}_{h\to γγ}$, of the Beyond the SM versus the SM contributions as appeared in LHC $h\to γγ$ searches. The most important contributions arise at tree level from the operators $Q_{\varphi B}, Q_{\varphi W}, Q_{\varphi WB}$, and at one-loop level from the dipole operators $Q_{uB},Q_{uW}$. Our calculation shows also that, for operators that appear at tree level in SMEFT, one-loop corrections can modify their contributions by less than 10%. Wilson coefficients corresponding to these five operators are bounded from current LHC $h\to γγ$ data -- in some cases an order of magnitude stronger than from other searches. Finally, we correct results that appeared previously in the literature.

The forthcoming precision data on lepton flavour violating decays require precise and efficient calculations in New Physics models. In this article lepton flavour violating processes within the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM) are calculated using the method based on the Flavour Expansion Theorem, a recently developed technique performing a purely algebraic mass-insertion expansion of the amplitudes. The expansion in both flavour-violating and flavour-conserving off-diagonal terms of sfermion and supersymmetric fermion mass matrices is considered. In this way the relevant processes are expressed directly in terms of the parameters of the MSSM Lagrangian. We also study the decoupling properties of the amplitudes. The results are compared to the corresponding calculations in the mass eigenbasis (i.e. using the exact diagonalization of the mass matrices). Using these methods, we consider the following processes: $\ell \to \ell' γ$, $\ell \to 3 \ell'$, $\ell \to 2\ell'\ell"$, $h \to \ell\ell'$ as well as $μ\to e$ conversion in nuclei. In the numerical analysis we update the bounds on the flavour changing parameters of the MSSM and examine the sensitivity to the forthcoming experimental results. We find that flavour violating muon decays provide the most stringent bounds on supersymmetric effects and will continue to do so in the future. Radiative $\ell\to\ell^\primeγ$ decays and leptonic three-body decays $\ell\to 3\ell^\prime$ show an interesting complementarity in eliminating "blind spots" in the parameter space. In our analysis we also include the effects of non-holomorphic $A$-terms which are important for the study of LFV Higgs decays.

We define a data exchange format for numerical values of Wilson coefficients of local operators parameterising low-energy effects of physics beyond the Standard Model. The format facilitates interfacing model-specific Wilson coefficient calculators, renormalisation group (RG) runners, and observable calculators. It is designed to be unambiguous (defining a non-redundant set of operators with fixed normalisation in each basis), extensible (allowing the addition of new EFTs or bases by the user), and robust (being based on industry standard file formats with parsers implemented in many programming languages). We have implemented the format for the Standard Model EFT (SMEFT) and for the weak effective theory (WET) below the electroweak scale and have added interfaces to a number of public codes dealing with SMEFT or WET. We also provide command-line utilities and a Python module for convenient manipulation of WCxf files, including translation between different bases and matching from SMEFT to WET.

Calculating amplitudes for the flavor changing transitions in terms of the off-diagonal elements of mass matrices, so called "Mass Insertions" (MI) in the theory defined in "gauge basis" (before mass matrix diagonalization) is the common technique in analyzing the flavor structure of the New Physics models. I present a general method allowing to expand any QFT amplitude calculated in the mass-eigenstates (physical) basis into series in MI's, to any required order. The technique is purely algebraic, translating an amplitude written in the mass eigenbasis into MI series without performing diagrammatic calculations in the gauge basis. It can be applied for all types of mass matrices - either Hermitian (scalar or vector), general complex (Dirac fermions) or complex symmetric (Majorana fermions). Proposed expansion has been also automatized in the form of publicly available specialized Mathematica package, MassToMI, which features I illustrate with the example of the Higgs boson decays in the MSSM.

We assume that New Physics effects are parametrized within the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT) written in a complete basis of gauge invariant operators up to dimension 6, commonly referred to as "Warsaw basis". We discuss all steps necessary to obtain a consistent transition to the spontaneously broken theory and several other important aspects, including the BRST-invariance of the SMEFT action for linear $R_ξ$-gauges. The final theory is expressed in a basis characterized by SM-like propagators for all physical and unphysical fields. The effect of the non-renormalizable operators appears explicitly in triple or higher multiplicity vertices. In this mass basis we derive the complete set of Feynman rules, without resorting to any simplifying assumptions such as baryon-, lepton-number or CP conservation. As it turns out, for most SMEFT vertices the expressions are reasonably short, with a noticeable exception of those involving 4, 5 and 6 gluons. We have also supplemented our set of Feynman rules, given in an appendix here, with a publicly available Mathematica code working with the FeynRules package and producing output which can be integrated with other symbolic algebra or numerical codes for automatic SMEFT amplitude calculations.

LHCb has reported deviations from the Standard Model in $b\to sμ^+μ^-$ transitions for which a new neutral gauge boson is a prime candidate for an explanation. As this gauge boson has to couple in a flavour non-universal way to muons and electrons in order to explain $R_K$, it is interesting to examine the possibility that also lepton flavour is violated, especially in the light of the CMS excess in $h\toτ^\pmμ^\mp$. In this article, we investigate the perspectives to discover the lepton-flavour violating modes $B\to K^{(*)}τ^\pmμ^\mp$, $B_s\to τ^\pmμ^\mp$ and $B\to K^{(*)} μ^\pm e^\mp$, $B_s\to μ^\pm e^\mp$. For this purpose we consider a simplified model in which new-physics effects originate from an additional neutral gauge boson ($Z^\prime$) with generic couplings to quarks and leptons. The constraints from $τ\to3μ$, $τ\toμν\barν$, $μ\to eγ$, $g_μ-2$, semi-leptonic $b\to sμ^+μ^-$ decays, $B\to K^{(*)}νν$ and $B_s$--$\overline{B}_s$ mixing are examined. From these decays, we determine upper bounds on the decay rates of lepton flavour violating $B$ decays. $Br(B\to Kνν)$ limits the branching ratios of LFV $B$ decays to be smaller than $8\times 10^{-5} (2\times 10^{-5})$ for vectorial (left-handed) lepton couplings. However, much stronger bounds can be obtained by a combined analysis of $B_s$--$\overline{B}_s$, $τ\to3μ$, $τ\toμν\barν$ and other rare decays. The bounds depend on the amount of fine-tuning among the contributions to $B_s$--$\overline{B}_s$ mixing. Allowing for a fine-tuning at the percent level we find upper bounds of the order of $10^{-6}$ for branching ratios into $τμ$ final states, while $B_s\to μ^\pm e^\mp$ is strongly suppressed and only $B\to K^{(*)} μ^\pm e^\mp$ can be experimentally accessible (with a branching ratio of order $10^{-7}$).

We present and prove a theorem of matrix analysis, the Flavour Expansion Theorem (or FET), according to which, an analytic function of a Hermitian matrix can be expanded polynomially in terms of its off-diagonal elements with coefficients being the divided differences of the analytic function and arguments the diagonal elements of the Hermitian matrix. The theorem is applicable in case of flavour changing amplitudes. At one-loop level this procedure is particularly natural due to the observation that every loop function in the Passarino-Veltman basis can be recursively expressed in terms of divided differences. FET helps to algebraically translate an amplitude written in mass eigenbasis into flavour mass insertions, without performing diagrammatic calculations in flavour basis. As a non-trivial application of FET up to a third order, we demonstrate its use in calculating strong bounds on the real parts of flavour changing mass insertions in the up- squark sector of the MSSM from neutron Electric Dipole Moment (nEDM) measurements, assuming that CP-violation arises only from the CKM matrix.

Number of bugs and inconsistencies have been fixed, based on users feedback. Calculations of several processes implemented in earlier versions have been corrected. New processes of rare decays of the top quark to Higgs boson have been included. Variables controlling inclusion of contributions from various MSSM sectors have been added. In full one-loop generality and in next-to-leading order in QCD, we study rare top to Higgs boson flavour changing decay processes $t\to q h$ with $q=u,c$ quarks, in the general MSSM with R-parity conservation. Our primary goal is to search for enhanced effects on $Br(t\to q h)$ that could be visible at current and high luminosity LHC running. To this end, we perform an analytical expansion of the amplitude in terms of flavour changing squark mass insertions that treats both cases of hierarchical and degenerate squark masses in a unified way. We identify two enhanced effects allowed by various constraints: one from holomorphic trilinear soft SUSY breaking terms and/or right handed up squark mass insertions and another from non-holomorphic trilinear soft SUSY breaking terms and light Higgs boson masses. Interestingly, even with $\mathcal{O}(1)$ flavour violating effects in the, presently unconstrained, up-squark sector, SUSY effects on $Br(t\to q h)$ come out to be unobservable at LHC mainly due to leading order cancellations between penguin and self energy diagrams and the constraints from charge- and colour-breaking minima (CCB) of the MSSM vacuum. An exception to this conclusion may be effects arising from non-holomorphic soft SUSY breaking terms in the region where the CP-odd Higgs mass is smaller than the top-quark mass but this scenario is disfavoured by recent LHC searches. Our calculations for $t\to q h$ decay are made available in SUSY_FLAVOR numerical library.

We propose a new kinematic variable to isolate the W_L W_L scattering component in same-sign WW production at the LHC. Focusing on purely leptonic W decay channels, we show that it considerably improves the LHC capabilities to shed light on the electroweak symmetry breaking mechanism after collecting 100 fb^{-1} of data at sqrt{s} = 14 TeV. The new variable is less effective in the opposite-sign WW channel due to different background composition.

We compute the finite renormalization of fermion masses and the CKM matrix induced by chirality-flip** self-energies. In the decoupling limit Msusy>>v, which is an excellent approximation to the full theory, we give analytic results for the effective gaugino(higgsino)-fermion-sfermion and the Higgs-fermion-fermion vertices. Using these vertices as effective Feynman rules, all leading chirally-enhanced corrections can consistently be included into perturbative calculations of Feynman amplitudes. We also give a generalized parametrization for the bare CKM matrix which extends the classic Wolfenstein parametrization to the case of complex parameters lambda and A.

Dimension-six terms have been enumerated in the classical article by Buchmueller and Wyler [3]. Although redundance of some of those operators has been already noted in the literature, no updated complete list has been published to date. Here we perform their classification once again from the outset. Assuming baryon number conservation, we find 15 + 19 + 25 = 59 independent operators (barring flavour structure and Hermitian conjugations), as compared to 16 + 35 + 29 = 80 in Ref.[3]. The three summed numbers refer to operators containing 0, 2 and 4 fermion fields. If the assumption of baryon number conservation is relaxed, 4 new operators arise in the four-fermion sector.

In the case of B_s --> mu+ mu-, the current bound is only ten times greater than the Standard Model expectation. Sensitivity to this decay is one of the benchmark goals for LHCb performance and physics. The Higgs penguin dominates this rate in the region of large tan(beta) of the MSSM. This is not necessarily the case in the region of low tan(beta), since box and Z-penguin diagrams may contribute at a comparable rate. In this article, we compute the complete one-loop MSSM contribution to B --> l+l'- for l,l' = e, mu. We study the predictions for general values of tan(beta) with arbitrary flavour mixing parameters. The seesaw-extended MSSM provides a framework in which the observed light neutrino masses and mixing angles can be generated in the context of a natural theory for the TeV-scale. Sneutrino-mixing phenomena provide valuable tools for connecting the physics of neutrinos and supersymmetry. We examine the theoretical structure of the seesaw-extended MSSM, retaining the full complexity of three generations of neutrinos and sneutrinos. In this general framework, new flavor-changing and CP-violating sneutrino processes are allowed, and are parameterized in terms of two $3\times 3$ matrices that respectively preserve and violate lepton number. The elements of these matrices can be bounded by analyzing the rate for rare flavor-changing decays of charged leptons and the one-loop contribution to neutrino masses. In the former case, new contributions arise in the seesaw extended model which are not present in the ordinary MSSM. In the latter case, sneutrino--antisneutrino mixing generates the leading correction at one-loop to neutrino masses, and could provide the origin of the observed texture of the light neutrino mass matrix. Finally, we derive general formulae for sneutrino--antisneutrino oscillations and sneutrino flavor-oscillations. Unfortunately, neither oscillation phenomena is likely to be observable at future colliders.

We consider the most general supersymmetric model with minimal particle content and an additional discrete Z_3 symmetry (instead of R-parity), which allows lepton number violating terms and results in non-zero Majorana neutrino masses. We investigate whether the currently measured values for lepton masses and mixing can be reproduced. We set up a framework in which Lagrangian parameters can be initialised without recourse to assumptions concerning trilinear or bilinear superpotential terms, CP-conservation or intergenerational mixing and analyse in detail the one loop corrections to the neutrino masses. We present scenarios in which the experimental data are reproduced and show the effect varying lepton number violating couplings has on the predicted atmospheric and solar mass^2 differences. We find that with bilinear lepton number violating couplings in the superpotential of the order 1 MeV the atmospheric mass scale can be reproduced. Certain trilinear superpotential couplings, usually, of the order of the electron Yukawa coupling can give rise to either atmospheric or solar mass scales and bilinear supersymmetry breaking terms of the order 0.1 GeV^2 can set the solar mass scale. Further details of our calculation, Lagrangian, Feynman rules and relevant generic loop diagrams, are presented in three Appendices.

Starting out from the most general, gauge invariant and renormalizable scalar potential of the R-parity violating MSSM and performing a calculable rotation to the scalar fields we arrive at a basis where the sneutrino VEVs are zero. The advantage of our rotation is that, in addition, we obtain diagonal soft supersymmetry breaking sneutrino masses and all potential parameters and VEVs real, proving that the MSSM scalar potential does not exhibit spontaneous or explicit CP-violation at tree level. The model has five CP-even and four CP-odd physical neutral scalars, with at least one CP-even scalar lighter than M_Z. We parametrise the neutral scalar sector in a way that resembles the parametrisation of the R-parity conserving MSSM, analyze its mass spectrum, the coupling to the gauge sector and the stability of the potential.

We reanalyze the rare decays K^+ -> pi^+ nu nu-bar and K_L -> pi^0 nu nu-bar in a general MSSM with conserved R-parity. Working in the mass eigenstate basis and performing adaptive scanning of a large space of supersymmetric parameters, 16 parameters in the constrained scan and 63 in the extended scan, we find that large departures from the Standard Model expectations are possible while satisfying all existing constraints. Both branching ratios can be as large as a few times 10^{-10} with Br(K_L -> pi^0 nu nu-bar) often larger than Br(K^+ -> pi^+ nu nu-bar) and close to its model independent upper bound. We give examples of supersymmetric parameters for which large departures from the SM expectations can be found and emphasize that the present 90% C.L. experimental upper bound on Br(K^+ -> pi^+ nu nu-bar) gives a non trivial constraint on the MSSM parameter space. Unlike previous analyses, we find that chargino box diagrams can give, already for moderately light charged sleptons, a significant contribution. As a byproduct we find that the ranges for the angles beta and gamma in the unitarity triangle are relaxed due to the presence of new CP-violating phases in K^0 - K^0-bar and B^0_d - B^0_d-bar mixing to 12 degrees <= beta <= 27 degrees and 20 degrees <= gamma <= 110 degrees.

We present an effective Lagrangian formalism for the calculation of flavour changing neutral and charged scalar currents in weak decays including $SU(2)\times U(1)$ symmetry breaking effects and the effects of the electroweak couplings $g_1$ and $g_2$. We apply this formalism to the MSSM with large $\tanβ$ with the CKM matrix as the only source of flavour violation, heavy supersymmetric particles and light Higgs bosons. We give analytic formulae for the neutral and charged Higgs boson couplings to quarks including large $\tanβ$ resummed corrections in the $SU(2) \times U(1)$ limit and demonstrate that these formulae can only be used for a semi-quantitative analysis. In particular they overestimate the effects of large $\tanβ$ resummed corrections. We give also improved analytic formulae that reproduce the numerical results of the full approach within $5-10%$. We present for the first time the predictions for the branching ratios $B^0_{s,d}\to μ^+μ^-$ and the $B^0_{d,s}-\bar B^0_{d,s}$ mass differences $ΔM_{d,s}$ that include simultaneously the resummed large $\tanβ$ corrections, $SU(2)\times U(1)$ breaking effects and the effects of the electroweak couplings. We perform an anatomy of the correlation between the increase of the rates of the decays $B^0_{s,d}\toμ^+μ^-$ and the suppression of $ΔM_s$, that for large $\tanβ$ are caused by the enhanced flavour changing neutral Higgs couplings to down quarks. We take into account the constraint from $B\to X_s γ$ clarifying some points in the calculation of the large $\tanβ$ enhanced corrections to this decay.

Recent development in exploring flavour dynamics in the supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model is reviewed. Emphasis is put on possible interesting effects in b-physics arising for large values of tan beta both in the case of minimal flavour violation and in the case of flavour violation originating in the sfermion sector. The importance of the flavour changing neutral Higgs boson couplings generated by the scalar penguin diagrams and their role in the interplay of neutral B-meson mixing and B^0_{d,s} --> mu^+ mu^- decays is discussed. It is pointed out that observation of the B^0_d --> mu^+ mu^- decay with BR at the level $\simgt 3 X 10^{-8}$ would be a strong indication of nonminimal flavour violation in the quark sector. Possible impact of flavour violation in the slepton sector on neutrino physics is also discussed.

Considering the MSSM with the CKM matrix as the only source of flavour violation and heavy supersymmetric particles at large $\tanβ$, we analyze the correlation between {\it the increase} of the rates of the decays $B^0_{s,d}\to μ^+μ^-$ and {\it the suppression} of $ΔM_s$, that are caused by the enhanced flavour changing neutral Higgs couplings to down-type quarks. We give analytic formulae for the neutral and charged Higgs couplings to quarks including large $\tanβ$ resummed corrections in the $SU(2)\times U(1)$ limit and comment briefly on the accuracy of this approximation. For $0.8\le (ΔM_s)^{\rm exp}/(ΔM_s)^{\rm SM}\le 0.95$ we find $6\cdot 10^{-7}\ge BR(B^0_s\ra μ^+μ^-)^{\rm max} \ge 4\cdot 10^{-8}$ and $1.4\cdot 10^{-8}\ge BR(B^0_d\ra μ^+μ^-)^{\rm max}\ge 1\cdot 10^{-9}$. For $(ΔM_s)^{\rm exp} \ge (ΔM_s)^{\rm SM}$ substantial enhancements of $B^0_{s,d}\raμ^+μ^-$ relative to the expectations based on the Standard Model are excluded. With $(ΔM_s)^{\rm exp}>15.0/$ps a conservative analysis of $(ΔM_s)^{\rm SM}$ gives $BR(B^0_s\ra μ^+μ^-)\simlt1.2\cdot10^{-6}$ and $BR(B^0_d\ra μ^+μ^-)\simlt3\cdot10^{-8}$. However, we point out that in the less likely scenario in which the squark mixing is so large that the neutral Higgs contributions dominate $ΔM_s$, the rates for $B^0_{s,d}\to μ^+μ^-$ increase with increasing $ΔM_s$ and the bounds in question are weaker. Violation of all these correlations and bounds would indicate new sources of flavour violation.

We present formulae for the mass differences $ΔM_d$ and $ΔM_s$ in the \BBds systems and for the CP violation parameter $ε$ which are valid in minimal flavour violation models giving rise to new four-fermion $ΔF=2$ operators. Short distance contributions to $ΔM_s$, $ΔM_d$ and $ε$ are parameterized by three {\it real} functions $F^s_{tt}$, $F^d_{tt}$ and $F^ε_{tt}$, respectively ($F^s_{tt} = F^d_{tt} = F^ε_{tt}$ holds only if the Standard Model $(V-A) \otimes (V-A)$ operators dominate). We present simple strategies involving the ratio $ΔM_s/ΔM_d$, $\sin2β$ and $γ$ that allow to search for the effects of the new operators. We point out that their sizable contributions to the ratio $ΔM_s/ΔM_d$ would in principle allow $γ$ to be larger than $90^\circ$. Constraints on the functions $F^i_{tt}$ imposed by the present (and future) experimental data are also discussed. As an example we show that for large $\tan\barβ\equiv v_2/v_1$ and $H^+$ not too heavy, $F^s_{tt}$ in the MSSM with heavy sparticles can be substantially smaller than in the SM due the charged Higgs box contributions and in particular due to the growing like $\tan^4\barβ$ contribution of the double penguin diagrams involving neutral Higgs boson exchanges. As a result the bounds on the function $F^s_{tt}$ can be violated which allows to exclude large mixing of stops. In this scenario the range of $\sin2β$ following from $ε$ and $ΔM_d$ is identical to the SM ones ($0.5<\sin 2β<0.8$). On the other hand $γ$ following from $ΔM_s/ΔM_d$ is lower.

We calculate the cross sections for the neutral Higgs-boson production at e+e- colliders in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM) using the Feynman-diagrammatic approach and the on-shell renormalization scheme. We incorporate the Higgs-boson propagator corrections, evaluated up to two-loop order, into the prediction of the cross sections for the Higgs-boson production mechanism e+e- -> hZ, hA. The propagator corrections consist of the full one-loop contribution, including the effects of non-vanishing external momentum, and at the two-loop level of the dominant corrections of O(alpha alpha_s) and further sub-dominant contributions. The results are supplemented with the complete set of one-loop vertex and box corrections. The effects of the two-loop propagator corrections are investigated in detail. We briefly discuss also the effect of the box contributions for high $\sqrt{s}$. We compare our results with the case where only the corrections to the effective mixing angle, evaluated within the renormalization-group-improved one-loop Effective Potential approach, are taken into account. We find agreement better than 10% for LEP2 energies and deviations larger than 20% for $\sqrt{s}$ = 500 GeV.

In the unconstrained MSSM, we reanalyze the constraints on the phases of supersymmetric flavour conserving couplings that follow from the electron and neutron electric dipole moments (EDM). We find that the constraints become weak if at least one exchanged superpartner mass is >O(1 TeV) or if we accept large cancellations among different contributions. However, such cancellations have no evident underlying symmetry principle. For light superpartners, models with small phases look like the easiest solution to the experimental EDM constraints. This conclusion becomes stronger the larger is the value of $\tanβ$. We discuss also the dependence of $ε_K$, $Δm_B$ and $b\to sγ$ decay on those phases.
