Gravitational decoupling allows to obtain new solutions of general relativity. In this paper, we obtain new solutions of the Einstein field equations which describe non-singular black holes. We consider Hayward and Bardeen regular black holes as seed spacetimes and apply gravitational decoupling to obtain a new non-singular solution. We show that anisotropic energy-momentum tensor can spoil the regularity condition in the centre of a black hole. We solve the Einstein field equation and obtain new solutions that possess a de Sitter core and have Schwarzschild behaviour in infinity. We also analyse the thermodynamic properties of the obtained solutions.

In addition to that, we compute the Brown-York quasilocal energy and compare the solution with the Schwarzschild case. We find that in both cases (quantum Schwarzschild and bumblebee gravity model) the temperature, the entropy, and the heat capacity show the same functional form, under the replacement $λ^2 \rightarrow \ell$ and vice versa. Specifically, the temperature is found to be lower compared to the classical (Schwarzschild) solution, whereas the entropy is computed to be larger. Moreover, the heat capacity becomes more negative. Notably, a distinct contrast emerges in obtaining the Gibbs free energy between these two cases, and this distinction appears to stem from the ADM mass.

We investigate the propagation of a scalar field in a $(2+1)$-dimensional accelerated black hole, recently revisited in \cite{Arenas_Henriquez_2022}. We briefly describe the minimally-coupled configuration as rendering a trivial scalar perturbation with a rescale of the field mass. On the contrary, the free scalar field propagation presents an intricate dynamic, whose equation may be reduced through the use of Israel junction conditions and a non-trivial ansatz. In this case, using two different methods we calculate the quasinormal modes of the solution also obtaining unstable field profiles delivered by the linear scalar perturbation to the background geometry. We scrutinize the parameter space of angular eigenvalue of the field and accelerations under which such instabilities happen.

In this manuscript, we explore the shadow and the greybody bounding characteristics of a regular black hole within 4-dimensional space-time, employing the context of gravity that is scale-dependent. Our focus lies in determining limitations on the parameter denoted as $\tildeε$, which serves as a descriptor for the scale-dependent solution with respect to the classically observed shadow radius $R_\text{sh}$ as indicated in the documented data from the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT). Our result indicates that there is a unique value for $\tildeε$ occurring at the reported mean of $R_\text{sh}$ and the uncertainties could be the result of the fluctuating value of the scale-dependent parameter. We found that $\tildeε > 0$ is positive for Sgr. A*, but $\tildeε<0$ for M87*. Utilizing M87* as a reference model, we scrutinized the shadow radius and weak deflection angle within the specified constraints. Discrepancies were observed not only in the shadow but also in the deflection angle of photons, particularly when the photon's impact parameter closely approached the critical impact parameter.

In particular, 17 different forms of the energy transfer rate $Q$ between DE and dark matter (DM) were focused on, belonging to the following categories: i) linear models in energy densities of DE and DM, ii) non-linear models, iii) models with a change of direction of energy transfer between DE and DM, iv) models involving derivatives of the energy densities, v) parametrized interactions through a function of the coincidence parameter $\tilde{r}$, and finally we also consider vi) two kinds of models with a self-interaction between DM, without DE. These models have been already studied in the literature and constrained with observational data available at that time. In order to discriminate between them at background level, we use the Statefinder diagnostic, based on the computation and study of the so-called Statefinder parameters $r$, $s$ in addition to the deceleration parameter $q$. We plot the evolution trajectories for the several interacting models on the $r-q$, $r-s$ planes, and we find some distinctive features and departures from $Λ$CDM and other DE models, as Quintessence, Chaplygin Gas, running vacuum models (RVM) and Galileon.

Monitoring wellbeing and stress is one of the problems covered by ambient intelligence, as stress is a significant cause of human illnesses directly affecting our emotional state. The primary aim was to propose a deliberation architecture for an ambient intelligence healthcare application. The architecture provides a plan for comforting stressed seniors suffering from negative emotions in an assisted living home and executes the plan considering the environment's dynamic nature. Literature was reviewed to identify the convergence between deliberation and ambient intelligence and the latter's latest healthcare trends. A deliberation function was designed to achieve context-aware dynamic human-robot interaction, perception, planning capabilities, reactivity, and context-awareness with regard to the environment. A number of experimental case studies in a simulated assisted living home scenario were conducted to demonstrate the approach's behavior and validity. The proposed methods were validated to show classification accuracy. The validation showed that the deliberation function has effectively achieved its deliberative objectives.

In the present paper, we investigate the quasinormal modes of an Einstein-Maxwell power-Yang-Mills black hole in four dimensions, considering a specific value of the power parameter $p = 1/2$. This particular case represents a black hole with both Abelian and Non-Abelian charges and is asymptotically non-flat. We begin by deriving the effective potential for a neutral massless particle using the aforementioned black hole solution. Subsequently, employing the sixth-order WKB approximation method, we calculate the (scalar) quasinormal modes. Our numerical analysis indicates that these modes are stable within the considered parameter range. This result is also confirmed using the eikonal approximation. Furthermore, we calculate the shadow radius for this class of black hole and derive constraints on the electric and Yang-Mills charges ($Q,Q_{\rm YM}$) by using imaging observational data for Sgr A${^\star}$, provided by the Event Horizon Telescope Collaboration. We observe that as the electric charge $Q$ increases, the allowed range shifts towards negative values of $Q_{\rm YM}$. For instance, for the maximum value $Q\approx 1.1$ obtained, the allowed range becomes $-0.171 \lesssim Q_{\rm YM} \lesssim -0.087$ consistent with KECK and VLTI data, while still retaining a non-vanishing horizon.

We study the black hole spacetime structure of a model consisting of the standard Maxwell theory and a $p$-power-Yang-Mills term. This non-linear contribution introduces a non-Abelian charge into the global solution, resulting in a modified structure of the standard Reissner-Nordström black hole. Specifically, we focus on the model with $p=1/2$, which gives rise to a new type of modified Reissner-Nordström black hole. For this class of black holes, we compute the event horizon, the innermost stable circular orbit, and the conditions to preserve the weak cosmic censorship conjecture. The latter condition sets a well-established relation between the electric and the Yang-Mills charges. As a first astrophysical implication, the accretion properties of spherical steady flows are investigated in detail. Extensive numerical examples of how the Yang-Mills charge affects the accretion process of an isothermal fluid in comparison to the standard Reissner-Nordström and Schwarzschild black holes are displayed. Finally, analytical solutions in the fully relativistic regime, along with numerical computations, of the mass accretion rate for a polytropic fluid in terms of the electric and Yang-Mills charges are obtained. As a main result, the mass accretion rate efficiency is considerably improved, with respect to the standard Reissner-Nordström and Schwarzschild solutions, for negative values of the Yang-Mills charge.

Running vacuum models and viscous dark matter scenarios beyond perfect fluid idealization are two appealing theoretical strategies that have been separately studied as alternatives to solve some problems rooted in the $Λ$CDM cosmological model. In this paper, we combine these two notions in a single cosmological setting and investigate their cosmological implications, paying particular attention in the interplay between these two constituents in different cosmological periods. Specifically, we consider a well-studied running vacuum model inspired by renormalization group, and a recently proposed general parameterization for the bulk viscosity $ξ$. By employing dynamical system analysis, we explore the physical aspects of the new phase space that emerges from the combined models and derive stability conditions that ensure complete cosmological dynamics. We identify four distinct classes of models and find that the critical points of the phase space are non-trivially renewed compared to the single scenarios. We then proceed, in a joint and complementary way to the dynamical system analysis, with a detailed numerical exploration to quantify the impact of both the running parameter and the bulk viscosity coefficient on the cosmological evolution. Thus, for some values of the model parameters, numerical solutions show qualitative differences from the $Λ$CDM model, which is phenomenologically appealing in light of cosmological observations.

Using these parameters, we explored how the shadow radius behaves as perceived by a static observer. Using the known parameters for Sgr. A* and M87*, we found different shadow cast behavior near the cosmological horizon even if the same scaling parameters were used. We explored the deflection angle $\hatα$ in the weak field limit for both massive and null particles, in addition to the effect of finite distances using the non-asymptotically flat version of the Gauss-Bonnet theorem. We have found that the $\hatα$ strongly depends on massive particles. Tests on $ε$'s effect using Sgr. A* is only along points of low impact parameters. For M87*, only the scaled BH in AdS type can be tested at high impact parameters at the expense of very low value for $\hatα$. We study the rigorous bound on the greybody factor for scalar field emitted from black holes in the theory and show the bound on the transmission probability. The effects of the scale-dependent gravity on the greybody factors are investigated, and the results indicate that the bound on the greybody factor in this case is less than the bound for the Schwarzschild black hole.

In the present work, we investigate the consequences of running gravitational coupling on the properties of the three-dimensional BTZ black hole. We take as starting point the functional form of gravitational coupling obtained in the context of asymptotic safe gravity theory. By using the standard scale setting relation where $k\sim ξ/r^n$, we compute the solution of the Einstein field equations. We get and analyze the horizon and the thermodynamic properties of this new class of black hole solutions. The impact of the scale--dependent parameter $ξ$ on the cosmological "constant" and metric functions are briefly discussed. We find that the null energy condition is also violated in this setup when scale-dependent gravity and Newton's coupling (coming from the asymptotic safety scenario of gravity) are simultaneously taken into account.

Bulk viscosity in cold dark matter is an appealing feature that introduces distinctive phenomenological effects in the cosmological setting as compared to the $Λ$CDM model. Under this view, we propose a general parametrization of the bulk viscosity of the form $ξ\sim H^{1-2s} ρ_{m}^{s}$, that covers intriguingly some well-known cases in the Eckart's theory. Some advantages of this novel parametrization are: first, it allows to write the resulting equations of cosmological evolution in the form of an autonomous system for any value of $s$, so a general treatment of the fixed points and stability can be done, and second, the bulk viscosity effect is consistently handled so that it naturally turns off when matter density vanishes. As a main result we find, based on detailed dynamical system analysis, one-parameter family of de-Sitter-like asymptotic solutions with non-vanishing bulk viscosity coefficient during different cosmological periods. Numerical computations are performed jointly along with analytical phase space analysis in order to assess more quantitatively the bulk viscosity effect on the cosmological background evolution. Finally, as a first contact with observation we derive constraints on the free parameters of some bulk viscosity models with specific $s$-exponents from Supernovae Ia and observations of the Hubble parameter, by performing a Bayesian statistical analysis thought the Markov Chain Monte Carlo method.

Moreover, we assume that the gravitational field generated by the stellar-mass black hole is an analogue of the Schwarzschild space-time of Einstein's theory in massive Brans-Dicke gravity. We compute the most relevant quantities of interest, i.e., i) the radial velocity, ii) the energy and surface density, and iii) the pressure as a function entirely of the radial coordinate. We also compute the soft spectral component of the X-ray emission produced by the disk. Furthermore, we investigate in detail how the mass of the scalar field modifies the properties of the binary as described by the more standard Schwarzschild solution.

Recently, it was shown that the power-Maxwell (PM) theory could remove the singularity of the electric field \cite{PM2}. Motivated by a great interest in three-dimensional black holes and a surge of success in studying massive gravity from both the cosmological and astrophysical points of view, we investigate three-dimensional black hole solutions in de Rham, Gabadadze, and Tolley (dRGT) massive theory of gravity in the presence of PM electrodynamics. First, we extract exact three-dimensional solutions in this theory of gravity. Then we study the geometrical properties of these solutions. Calculating conserved and thermodynamic quantities, we check the validity of the first law of thermodynamics for these black holes. We also examine the stability of these black holes in the context of the canonical ensemble. We continue calculating this kind of black hole's optical features, such as the photon orbit radius, the energy emission rate, and the deflection angle. Considering these optical quantities, finally, we analyze the effective role of the parameters of models on them.

We study low-mass binary X-ray sources involving stellar mass black holes within massive gravity. Regarding the accretion disk, we adopt the standard model for an optically thick, cool, and geometrically thin disk by Shakura-Sunyaev. For the gravitational field generated by the black hole, we consider the analogue of the Schwarzschild-de Sitter space-time of Einstein's theory in massive gravity, for which we found an additional term linear in the radial coordinate. Then, we compute the radial velocity, the energy density and the pressure as a function of the radial coordinate, and the X-ray emission's soft spectral component expected from the disk. We also investigated in detailed the impact of this new geometry. Our result indicates that by using observed spectra from confirmed X-ray binaries involving astrophysical black holes, we can put strong constraints on alternative theories of gravity.

Nowadays, technological advances have influenced all human activities, creating new dynamics and ways of communication. In this context, some artists have incorporated these advances in their creative process, giving rise to unique aesthetic expressions referred to in the literature as Generative Art, which is characterized by assigning part of the creative process to a system that acts with certain autonomy (Galanter, 2003).
This research work introduces a computational system for creating generative art using a Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) which portrays the user's brain activity in a digital artwork. In this way, the user takes an active role in the creative process. In aims of showing that the proposed system materializes in an artistic piece the user's mental states by means of a visual and sound representation, several tests are carried out to ensure the reliability of the BCI device sent data.
The generated artwork uses brain signals and concepts of geometry, color and spatial location to give complexity to the autonomous construction. As an added value, the visual and auditory production is accompanied by an olfactory and kinesthetic component which complements the art pieces providing a multimodal communication character.

We study the impact of a non-vanishing (positive) cosmological constant on the innermost and outermost stable circular orbits (ISCOs and OSCOs, respectively) within massive gravity in four dimensions. The gravitational field generated by a point-like object within this theory is known, generalizing the usual Schwarzschild--de Sitter geometry of General Relativity. In the non-relativistic limit, the gravitational potential differs by the one corresponding to the Schwarzschild--de Sitter geometry by a term that is linear in the radial coordinate with some prefactor $γ$, which is the only free parameter. Starting from the geodesic equations for massive test particles and the corresponding effective potential, we obtain a polynomial of fifth order that allows us to compute the innermost and outermost stable circular orbits. Next, we numerically compute the real and positive roots of the polynomial for several different structures (from the hydrogen atom to stars and globular clusters to galaxies and galaxy clusters) considering three distinct values of the parameter $γ$, determined using physical considerations, such as galaxy rotation curves and orbital precession. Similarly to the Kottler spacetime, both ISCOs and OSCOs appear. Their astrophysical relevance as well as the comparison with the Kottler spacetime are briefly discussed.

However, all the unstable modes are superradiant and all the stable modes are non-superradiant, according with the superradiant condition. It has been pointed out that this tension may be alleviated in alternative theories in which gravity is weaker at red-shift $z \sim 1$. We study the evolution of density perturbations for non-relativistic matter on top of a spatially flat FLRW Universe, and we compute the combination $A=f σ_8$ in the framework of scale-dependent gravity, where both Newton's constant and the cosmological constant are allowed to vary with time. Upon comparison between available observational data (supernovae data as well as redshift-space distortion data) and theoretical predictions of the model, we determine the numerical value of $σ_8$ that best fits the data.

We obtain well behaved interior solutions describing hydrostatic equilibrium of anisotropic relativistic stars in scale-dependent gravity, where Newton's constant is allowed to vary with the radial coordinate throughout the star. Assuming i) a linear equation-of-state in the MIT bag model for quark matter, and ii) a certain profile for the energy density, we integrate numerically the generalized structure equations, and we compute the basic properties of the strange quark stars, such as mass, radius and compactness. Finally, we demonstrate that stability criteria as well as the energy conditions are fulfilled. It is argued that such models, where the scale-dependence appears as a correction to the classical $Λ$CDM evolution, have the potential of addressing the tensions between early and late time measurements of $H_0$. After defining criteria to parametrize this tension, we perform a numerical scan over the parameter space of the scale-dependent model, subject to these criteria. In this analysis, it is found that, indeed, the tension can be released.

The present article is devoted to the study of local anisotropies effects on the Durgapal's fourth model in the context of gravitational decoupling via the Minimal Geometric Deformation approach. To do it, the most general equation of state relating the components of the $θ$--sector is imposed to obtain the decoupler function $f(r)$. In addition, certain properties of the obtained solution are investigated, such as the behavior of the salient material content threading the stellar interior, causality and energy conditions, hydrostatic balance through modified Tolman--Oppenheimer--Volkoff conservation equation and stability mechanism against local anisotropies by means of adiabatic index, sound velocity of the pressure waves, convection factor and Harrison--Zeldovich--Novikov procedure, in order to check if the model is physically admissible or not. Regarding the stability analysis, it is found that the model presents unstable regions when the sound speed of the pressure waves and convection factor are used in distinction with what happens in the adiabatic index and Harrison--Zeldovich--Novikov case. To produce a more realistic picture the numerical data for some known compact objects was placed and different values of the parameter $α$ were considered to compare with the GR case ı.e, $α=0$.

Abstract:
In this work, a spherically symmetric and static relativistic anisotropic fluid sphere solution of the Einstein field equations is provided. In this work, a spherically symmetric and static relativistic anisotropic fluid sphere solution of the Einstein field equations is provided. To build this particular model, we have imposed metric potential $e^{2λ(r)}$ and an equation of state. Specifically, the so-called modified generalized Chaplygin equation of state with $ω=1$ and depending on two parameters, namely, $A$ and $B$. These ingredients close the problem, at least mathematically. However, to check the feasibility of the model, a complete physical analysis has been performed. Thus, we analyze the obtained geometry and the main physical observables, such as the density $ρ$, the radial $p_{r}$, and tangential $p_{t}$ pressures as well as the anisotropy factor $Δ$. Besides, the stability of the system has been checked by means of the velocities of the pressure waves and the relativistic adiabatic index. It is found that the configuration is stable in considering the adiabatic index criteria and is under hydrostatic balance. Finally, to mimic a realistic compact object, we have imposed the radius to be $R=9.5\ [km]$. With this information and taking different values of the parameter $A$ the total mass of the object has been determined. The resulting numerical values for the principal variables of the model established that the structure could represent a quark (strange) star mixed with dark energy.
