Abstract: We provide a survey of results concerning both the direct and inverse problems to the Cauchy-Davenport theorem and Erdos-Heilbronn problem in Additive Combinatorics. We formulate an open conjecture concerning the inverse Erdos-Heilbronn problem in nonabelian groups.
