We seek to accelerate research in develo** rich, multimodal scene models trained from egocentric data, based on differentiable volumetric ray-tracing inspired by Neural Radiance Fields (NeRFs). The construction of a NeRF-like model from an egocentric image sequence plays a pivotal role in understanding human behavior and holds diverse applications within the realms of VR/AR. Such egocentric NeRF-like models may be used as realistic simulations, contributing significantly to the advancement of intelligent agents capable of executing tasks in the real-world. The future of egocentric view synthesis may lead to novel environment representations going beyond today's NeRFs by augmenting visual data with multimodal sensors such as IMU for egomotion tracking, audio sensors to capture surface texture and human language context, and eye-gaze trackers to infer human attention patterns in the scene. To support and facilitate the development and evaluation of egocentric multimodal scene modeling, we present a comprehensive multimodal egocentric video dataset. This dataset offers a comprehensive collection of sensory data, featuring RGB images, eye-tracking camera footage, audio recordings from a microphone, atmospheric pressure readings from a barometer, positional coordinates from GPS, connectivity details from Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and information from dual-frequency IMU datasets (1kHz and 800Hz) paired with a magnetometer. The dataset was collected with the Meta Aria Glasses wearable device platform. The diverse data modalities and the real-world context captured within this dataset serve as a robust foundation for furthering our understanding of human behavior and enabling more immersive and intelligent experiences in the realms of VR, AR, and robotics.

The first observation of the decays $J\!/\!ψ\rightarrow \bar{p} Σ^{+} K_{S}^{0}$ and $J\!/\!ψ\rightarrow p \barΣ^{-} K_{S}^{0}$ is reported using $(10087\pm44)\times10^{6}$ $J\!/\!ψ$ events recorded by the BESIII detector at the BEPCII storage ring. The branching fractions of each channel are determined to be $\mathcal{B}(J\!/\!ψ\rightarrow \bar{p} Σ^{+} K_{S}^{0})=(1.361 \pm 0.006 \pm 0.025) \times 10^{-4}$ and $\mathcal{B}(J\!/\!ψ\rightarrow p \barΣ^{-} K_{S}^{0})=(1.352 \pm 0.006 \pm 0.025) \times 10^{-4}$. The combined result is $\mathcal{B}(J\!/\!ψ\rightarrow \bar{p} Σ^{+} K_{S}^{0} +c.c.)=(2.725 \pm 0.009 \pm 0.050) \times 10^{-4}$, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. The results presented are in good agreement with the branching fractions of the isospin partner decay $J\!/\!ψ\rightarrow p K^- \barΣ^0 + c.c.$.

The branching fraction of the two-body decay $Λ_{c}^+ \to Ξ(1530)^{0}K^+$ is $(5.99\pm1.04\pm0.29)\times10^{-3}$, which is consistent with the previous result of $(5.02\pm0.99\pm0.31)\times 10^{-3}$. In addition, the upper limit on the branching fraction of the doubly Cabbibo-suppressed decay $Λ_{c}^+ \to nK^+π^0$ is $7.1 \times 10^{-4}$ at the 90$\%$ confidence level. The upper limits on the branching fractions of $Λ_{c}^+ \to Σ^{0}K^{+}π^{0}$ and $ΛK^{+}π^{0}$ are also determined to be $1.8\times 10^{-3}$ and $ 2.0 \times 10^{-3}$, respectively.

Belief revision and update, two significant types of belief change, both focus on how an agent modify her beliefs in presence of new information. The most striking difference between them is that the former studies the change of beliefs in a static world while the latter concentrates on a dynamically-changing world. The famous AGM and KM postulates were proposed to capture rational belief revision and update, respectively. However, both of them are too permissive to exclude some unreasonable changes in the iteration. In response to this weakness, the DP postulates and its extensions for iterated belief revision were presented. Furthermore, Rodrigues integrated these postulates in belief update. Unfortunately, his approach does not meet the basic requirement of iterated belief update. This paper is intended to solve this problem of Rodrigues's approach. Firstly, we present a modification of the original KM postulates based on belief states. Subsequently, we migrate several well-known postulates for iterated belief revision to iterated belief update. Moreover, we provide the exact semantic characterizations based on partial preorders for each of the proposed postulates. Finally, we analyze the compatibility between the above iterated postulates and the KM postulates for belief update.

We perform a new global analysis of spin-dependent parton distribution functions with the inclusion of Ioffe time pseudo-distributions computed in lattice QCD (LQCD), which are directly sensitive to the gluon helicity distribution, $Δg$. These lattice data have an analogous relationship to parton distributions as do experimental cross sections, and can be readily included in global analyses. We focus in particular on the constraining capability of current LQCD data on the sign of $Δg$ at intermediate parton momentum fractions $x$, which was recently brought into question by analysis of data in the absence of parton positivity constraints. We find that present LQCD data cannot discriminate between positive and negative $Δg$ solutions, although significant changes in the solutions for both the gluon and quark sectors are observed.

It is well established that a Dirac point of a periodic structure can bifurcate into in-gap eigenvalues if the periodic structure is perturbed differently on the two sides of an interface and if a common band gap can be opened for the two perturbed periodic structures near the Dirac point. This paper addresses the less-known situation when the perturbation only lifts the degeneracy of the Dirac point without opening a band gap. Using a two-dimensional waveguide model, we constructed a wave mode from the bifurcation of a Dirac point of a periodic waveguide. We proved that when the constructed mode couples with the Floquet-Bloch modes of quasi-momentum away from the Dirac point, its associated eigenvalue has a negative imaginary part and the mode is a resonant mode that can radiate its energy into the bulk. On the other hand, when the coupling vanishes, the imaginary part of the eigenvalue turns to zero, and the constructed mode becomes an interface mode that decays exponentially away from the interface. It is believed that the developed method can be extended to other settings, thus providing a clear answer to the problem concerned with the bifurcation of Dirac points.

Generative AI is a fast-growing area of research offering various avenues for exploration in high-energy nuclear physics. In this work, we explore the use of generative models for simulating electron-proton collisions relevant to experiments like CEBAF and the future Electron-Ion Collider (EIC). These experiments play a critical role in advancing our understanding of nucleons and nuclei in terms of quark and gluon degrees of freedom. The use of generative models for simulating collider events faces several challenges such as the sparsity of the data, the presence of global or event-wide constraints, and steeply falling particle distributions. In this work, we focus on the implementation of diffusion models for the simulation of electron-proton scattering events at EIC energies. Our results demonstrate that diffusion models can accurately reproduce relevant observables such as momentum distributions and correlations of particles, momentum sum rules, and the leading electron kinematics, all of which are of particular interest in electron-proton collisions. Although the sampling process is relatively slow compared to other machine learning architectures, we find diffusion models can generate high-quality samples. We foresee various applications of our work including inference for nuclear structure, interpretable generative machine learning, and searches of physics beyond the Standard Model.

The value function of the control problem is proven to be the unique viscosity solution. The major challenge lies in the mixture of the lack of local compactness of the Wasserstein spaces and the non-Markovian setting with random coefficients and various techniques are used, including Ito processes parameterized by random measures, the conditional law invariance of the value function, a novel tailor-made compact subset of measure-valued processes, finite dimensional approximations via stochastic n-player differential games with common noises, and so on.

The Naïve Mean Field (NMF) approximation is widely employed in modern Machine Learning due to the huge computational gains it bestows on the statistician. Despite its popularity in practice, theoretical guarantees for high-dimensional problems are only available under strong structural assumptions (e.g., sparsity). Moreover, existing theory often does not explain empirical observations noted in the existing literature.
In this paper, we take a step towards addressing these problems by deriving sharp asymptotic characterizations for the NMF approximation in high-dimensional linear regression. Our results apply to a wide class of natural priors and allow for model mismatch (i.e., the underlying statistical model can be different from the fitted model). We work under an \textit{iid} Gaussian design and the proportional asymptotic regime, where the number of features and the number of observations grow at a proportional rate. As a consequence of our asymptotic characterization, we establish two concrete corollaries: (a) we establish the inaccuracy of the NMF approximation for the log-normalizing constant in this regime, and (b) we provide theoretical results backing the empirical observation that the NMF approximation can be overconfident in terms of uncertainty quantification.
Our results utilize recent advances in the theory of Gaussian comparison inequalities. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first application of these ideas to the analysis of Bayesian variational inference problems. Our theoretical results are corroborated by numerical experiments. Lastly, we believe our results can be generalized to non-Gaussian designs and provide empirical evidence to support it.

Cyclic codes are an important class of linear codes. Bounding the minimum distance of cyclic codes is a long-standing research topic in coding theory, and several well-known and basic results have been developed on this topic. Recently, locally repairable codes (LRCs) have attracted much attention due to their repair efficiency in large-scale distributed storage systems. In this paper, by employing the singleton procedure technique, we first provide a sufficient condition for bounding the minimum distance of cyclic codes with typical defining sets. Secondly, by considering a specific case, we establish a connection between bounds for the minimum distance of cyclic codes and solutions to a system of inequalities. This connection leads to the derivation of new bounds, including some with general patterns. In particular, we provide three new bounds with general patterns, one of which serves as a generalization of the Betti-Sala bound. Finally, we present a generalized lower bound for a special case and construct several families of $(2, δ)$-LRCs with unbounded length and minimum distance $2δ$. It turns out that these LRCs are distance-optimal, and their parameters are new. To the best of our knowledge, this work represents the first construction of distance-optimal $(r, δ)$-LRCs with unbounded length and minimum distance exceeding $r+δ-1$.

The rotating vector model and radius-to-frequency map** in the presence of multipole magnetic field in pulsars and magnetars are considered. An axisymmetric potential field is assumed. It is found that: (1) The radiation beam in the case of multipole field is wider than the dipole case. This may account the increasing pulse width at higher frequency of pulsars (anti-radius-to-frequency map**). (2) The expression for the polarization position angle is unchanged. Only the inclination angle α and phase constant φ_0 will change. The angle between the rotational axis and line of sight, and the position angle constant ψ_0 will not change. When fitting the varying position angle of magnetars, these constraints should be considered. The appearance and disappearance of multipole field may account for the changing slope of position angle in the radio emitting magnetar Swift J1818.0-1607. Similar but more active process in magnetar magnetospheres may account for the diverse position angle in fast radius bursts.

IoT devices are increasingly the source of data for machine learning (ML) applications running on edge servers. Data transmissions from devices to servers are often over local wireless networks whose bandwidth is not just limited but, more importantly, variable. Furthermore, in cyber-physical systems interacting with the physical environment, image offloading is also commonly subject to timing constraints. It is, therefore, important to develop an adaptive approach that maximizes the inference performance of ML applications under timing constraints and the resource constraints of IoT devices. In this paper, we use image classification as our target application and propose progressive neural compression (PNC) as an efficient solution to this problem. Although neural compression has been used to compress images for different ML applications, existing solutions often produce fixed-size outputs that are unsuitable for timing-constrained offloading over variable bandwidth. To address this limitation, we train a multi-objective rateless autoencoder that optimizes for multiple compression rates via stochastic taildrop to create a compression solution that produces features ordered according to their importance to inference performance. Features are then transmitted in that order based on available bandwidth, with classification ultimately performed using the (sub)set of features received by the deadline. We demonstrate the benefits of PNC over state-of-the-art neural compression approaches and traditional compression methods on a testbed comprising an IoT device and an edge server connected over a wireless network with varying bandwidth.

Water fountains (WFs) are thought to be objects in the morphological evolution of the circumstellar envelopes of low- and intermediate-mass evolved stars, transitioning from spherically symmetric to asymmetric shapes. We used databases of circumstellar 1612 MHz OH and 22.235 GHz H$_2$O maser sources to search for new WF candidates using the criterion of a larger velocity range of the H$_2$O maser emission compared to that of the OH maser emission. Thus, it is in principle possible to identify WFs with an H$_2$O velocity ranges smaller than those for the previously known WFs. For the OH maser line, we analyzed database entries of 8,474 observations from 2,195 sources, and 6,085 observations from 3,642 sources for H$_2$O maser line. After a close examination of the velocity ranges and line profiles, we identified 11 sources that meet the criterion mentioned above. We examined the IRAS colors of the selected sources and found that two of them (IRAS 19069+0916 and IRAS 19319+2214) are in the color region for post-AGB stars. We find that the maser velocity criterion can discover other astrophysically interesting objects than just WFs. Such objects may include peculiar planetary nebulae with maser emissions and stellar merger remnants.

We present VisionFM, a foundation model pre-trained with 3.4 million ophthalmic images from 560,457 individuals, covering a broad range of ophthalmic diseases, modalities, imaging devices, and demography. After pre-training, VisionFM provides a foundation to foster multiple ophthalmic artificial intelligence (AI) applications, such as disease screening and diagnosis, disease prognosis, subclassification of disease phenotype, and systemic biomarker and disease prediction, with each application enhanced with expert-level intelligence and accuracy. The generalist intelligence of VisionFM outperformed ophthalmologists with basic and intermediate levels in jointly diagnosing 12 common ophthalmic diseases. Evaluated on a new large-scale ophthalmic disease diagnosis benchmark database, as well as a new large-scale segmentation and detection benchmark database, VisionFM outperformed strong baseline deep neural networks. The ophthalmic image representations learned by VisionFM exhibited noteworthy explainability, and demonstrated strong generalizability to new ophthalmic modalities, disease spectrum, and imaging devices. As a foundation model, VisionFM has a large capacity to learn from diverse ophthalmic imaging data and disparate datasets. To be commensurate with this capacity, in addition to the real data used for pre-training, we also generated and leveraged synthetic ophthalmic imaging data. Experimental results revealed that synthetic data that passed visual Turing tests, can also enhance the representation learning capability of VisionFM, leading to substantial performance gains on downstream ophthalmic AI tasks. Beyond the ophthalmic AI applications developed, validated, and demonstrated in this work, substantial further applications can be achieved in an efficient and cost-effective manner using VisionFM as the foundation.

The total cross section of $Λ+ ^{9}{\rm Be} \rightarrow Σ^+ + X$ is measured to be $σ= (37.3 \pm 4.7 \pm 3.5)~{\rm mb}$ at $Λ$ beam momenta within $[1.057, 1.091]~{\rm GeV}/c$, where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively. Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is the most common diabetic complication, which usually leads to retinal damage, vision loss, and even blindness. A computer-aided DR grading system has a significant impact on hel** ophthalmologists with rapid screening and diagnosis. Recent advances in fundus photography have precipitated the development of novel retinal imaging cameras and their subsequent implementation in clinical practice. However, most deep learning-based algorithms for DR grading demonstrate limited generalization across domains. This inferior performance stems from variance in imaging protocols and devices inducing domain shifts. We posit that declining model performance between domains arises from learning spurious correlations in the data. Incorporating do-operations from causality analysis into model architectures may mitigate this issue and improve generalizability. Specifically, a novel universal structural causal model (SCM) was proposed to analyze spurious correlations in fundus imaging. Building on this, a causality-inspired diabetic retinopathy grading framework named CauDR was developed to eliminate spurious correlations and achieve more generalizable DR diagnostics. Furthermore, existing datasets were reorganized into 4DR benchmark for DG scenario. Results demonstrate the effectiveness and the state-of-the-art (SOTA) performance of CauDR.

In a multitude of industrial fields, a key objective entails optimising resource management whilst satisfying user requirements. Resource management by industrial practitioners can result in a passive transfer of user loads across resource providers, a phenomenon whose accurate characterisation is both challenging and crucial. This research reveals the existence of user clusters, which capture macro-level user transfer patterns amid resource variation. We then propose CLUSTER, an interpretable hierarchical Bayesian nonparametric model capable of automating cluster identification, and thereby predicting user transfer in response to resource variation. Furthermore, CLUSTER facilitates uncertainty quantification for further reliable decision-making. Our method enables privacy protection by functioning independently of personally identifiable information. Experiments with simulated and real-world data from the communications industry reveal a pronounced alignment between prediction results and empirical observations across a spectrum of resource management scenarios. This research establishes a solid groundwork for advancing resource management strategy development.

Since turbulent strain tends to mask the hydrodynamic signal, the organisms should avoid such regions, but it is not known how they accomplish this. We found a simple, robust, and highly efficient strategy, that relies on measuring the sign of gradients of squared strain. Plankton following this strategy show very strong spatial clustering, and align against the local flow velocity, facilitating mate finding and feeding. The strategy has the potential to reconcile competing fitness pressures.

Hybrid quantum technologies aim to harness the best characteristics of multiple quantum systems, in a similar fashion that classical computers combine electronic, photonic, magnetic, and mechanical components. For example, quantum dots embedded in semiconductor nanowires can produce highly pure, deterministic, and indistinguishable single-photons with high repetition, while atomic ensembles offer robust photon storage capabilities and strong optical nonlinearities that can be controlled with single-photons. However, to successfully integrate quantum dots with atomic ensembles, one needs to carefully match the optical frequencies of these two platforms. Here, we propose and experimentally demonstrate simple, precise, reversible, broad-range, and local method for controlling the emission frequency of individual quantum dots embedded in tapered semiconductor nanowires and use it to interface with an atomic ensemble via single-photons matched to hyperfine transitions and slow-light regions of the cesium D1-line. Our approach allows linking together atomic and solid-state quantum systems and can potentially also be applied to other types of nanowire-embedded solid-state emitters, as well as to creating devices based on multiple solid-state emitters tuned to produce indistinguishable photons.

Deep learning approaches to natural language processing have made great strides in recent years. While these models produce symbols that convey vast amounts of diverse knowledge, it is unclear how such symbols are grounded in data from the world. In this paper, we explore the development of a private language for visual data representation by training emergent language (EL) encoders/decoders in both i) a traditional referential game environment and ii) a contrastive learning environment utilizing a within-class matching training paradigm. An additional classification layer utilizing neural machine translation and random forest classification was used to transform symbolic representations (sequences of integer symbols) to class labels. These methods were applied in two experiments focusing on object recognition and action recognition. For object recognition, a set of sketches produced by human participants from real imagery was used (Sketchy dataset) and for action recognition, 2D trajectories were generated from 3D motion capture systems (MOVI dataset). In order to interpret the symbols produced for data in each experiment, gradient-weighted class activation map** (Grad-CAM) methods were used to identify pixel regions indicating semantic features which contribute evidence towards symbols in learned languages. Additionally, a t-distributed stochastic neighbor embedding (t-SNE) method was used to investigate embeddings learned by CNN feature extractors.

The absolute branching fraction of $Λ_{c}^{+}\to Σ^{-}K^{+}π^{+}$ is measured to be $(3.8\pm1.3_{\rm stat}\pm0.2_{\rm syst})\times 10^{-4}$ in a model-independent approach. This is the first observation of a Cabibbo-suppressed $Λ_{c}^{+}$ decay involving $Σ^-$ in the final state. The ratio of branching fractions between $Λ_{c}^{+}\to Σ^{-}K^{+}π^{+}$ and the Cabibbo-favored decay $Λ_{c}^{+}\to Σ^- π^+π^+$ is calculated to be $(0.4 \pm 0.1)s_{c}^{2}$, where $s_{c} \equiv \sinθ_c = 0.2248$ with $θ_c$ the Cabibbo mixing angle. This ratio significantly deviates from $1.0s_{c}^{2}$ and provides important information for the understanding of nonfactorization contributions in $Λ_{c}^{+}$ decays.

For the other charmonium(-like) states $ψ(4040)$, $ψ(4160)$, $Y(4230)$, $Y(4360)$, $ψ(4415)$, and $Y(4660)$, no significant signal of their decay to $Ξ^-\bar Ξ^+$ is found. For these states, upper limits of the products of the branching fraction and the electronic partial width at the 90% confidence level are provided.

One of the fundamental goals of particle physics is to gain microscopic understanding of the strong interaction. Electromagnetic form factors quantify the structure of hadrons in terms of charge and magnetization distributions. While the nucleon structure has been investigated extensively, data on hyperons is still scarce. It has recently been demonstrated that electron-positron annihilations into hyperon-antihyperon pairs provide a powerful tools to investigate their inner structure. We present a novel method useful for hyperon-antihyperon pairs of different types which exploits the cross section enhancement due to the vacuum polarization effect at the $J/ψ$ resonance. Using the 10 billion $J/ψ$ events collected with the BESIII detector, this allows a thorough determination of the hyperon structure . The result is essentially a precise snapshot of a $\barΛΣ^0$~($Λ\barΣ^0$) pair in the making, encoded in the form factor ratio and the phase. Their values are measured to be $R = 0.860\pm0.029({\rm stat.})\pm0.010({\rm syst.})$, $ΔΦ_1=(1.011\pm0.094({\rm stat.})\pm0.010({\rm syst.}))~\rm rad$ for $\barΛΣ^0$ and $ΔΦ_2=(2.128\pm0.094({\rm stat.})\pm0.010({\rm syst.}))~\rm rad$ for $Λ\barΣ^0$, respectively. Furthermore, charge-parity (CP) breaking is investigated for the first time in this reaction and found to be consistent with CP symmetry.

Large language models based on self-attention mechanisms have achieved astonishing performances not only in natural language itself, but also in a variety of tasks of different nature. However, regarding processing language, our human brain may not operate using the same principle. Then, a debate is established on the connection between brain computation and artificial self-supervision adopted in large language models. One of most influential hypothesis in brain computation is the predictive coding framework, which proposes to minimize the prediction error by local learning. However, the role of predictive coding and the associated credit assignment in language processing remains unknown. Here, we propose a mean-field learning model within the predictive coding framework, assuming that the synaptic weight of each connection follows a spike and slab distribution, and only the distribution, rather than specific weights, is trained. This meta predictive learning is successfully validated on classifying handwritten digits where pixels are input to the network in sequence, and moreover on the toy and real language corpus. Our model reveals that most of the connections become deterministic after learning, while the output connections have a higher level of variability. The performance of the resulting network ensemble changes continuously with data load, further improving with more training data, in analogy with the emergent behavior of large language models. Therefore, our model provides a starting point to investigate the connection among brain computation, next-token prediction and general intelligence.

Prognostic Health Management (PHM) is designed to assess and monitor the health status of systems, anticipate the onset of potential failure, and prevent unplanned downtime. In recent decades, collecting massive amounts of real-time sensor data enabled condition monitoring (CM) and consequently, detection of abnormalities to support maintenance decision-making. Additionally, the utilization of PHM techniques can support energy sustainability efforts by optimizing energy usage and identifying opportunities for energy-saving measures. Escalators are efficient machines for transporting people and goods, and measuring energy consumption in time can facilitate PHM of escalators. Fixed loss energy, or no-load energy, of escalators denotes the energy consumption by an unloaded escalator. Fixed loss energy varies over time indicating varying operating conditions. In this paper, we propose to use escalators' fixed loss energy for PHM. We propose an approach to compute daily fixed loss energy based on energy consumption sensor data. The proposed approach is validated using a set of experimental data. The advantages and disadvantages of each approach are also presented, and recommendations are given. Finally, to illustrate PHM, we set up an EWMA chart for monitoring the fixed loss over time and demonstrate the potential in reducing energy costs associated with escalator operation.

The recurrent neural network and its variants have shown great success in processing sequences in recent years. However, this deep neural network has not aroused much attention in anomaly detection through predictively process monitoring. Furthermore, the traditional statistic models work on assumptions and hypothesis tests, while neural network (NN) models do not need that many assumptions. This flexibility enables NN models to work efficiently on data with time-varying variability, a common inherent aspect of data in practice. This paper explores the ability of the recurrent neural network structure to monitor processes and proposes a control chart based on long short-term memory (LSTM) prediction intervals for data with time-varying variability. The simulation studies provide empirical evidence that the proposed model outperforms other NN-based predictive monitoring methods for mean shift detection. The proposed method is also applied to time series sensor data, which confirms that the proposed method is an effective technique for detecting abnormalities.

Determining the number of factors in high-dimensional factor modeling is essential but challenging, especially when the data are heavy-tailed. In this paper, we introduce a new estimator based on the spectral properties of Spearman sample correlation matrix under the high-dimensional setting, where both dimension and sample size tend to infinity proportionally. Our estimator is robust against heavy tails in either the common factors or idiosyncratic errors. The consistency of our estimator is established under mild conditions. Numerical experiments demonstrate the superiority of our estimator compared to existing methods.

A new resonance with a mass of $M = 4708_{-15}^{+17}\pm21$ MeV/$c^{2}$ and a width of $Γ= 126_{-23}^{+27}\pm30$ MeV is observed in the energy-dependent line shape of the $e^+e^-\to K^+K^-J/ψ$ cross section with a significance over $5σ$. The $K^{+}J/ψ$ system is also investigated to search for charged charmoniumlike states, but no significant $Z_{cs}^+$ states are observed. Upper limits on the Born cross sections for $e^+e^-\to K^{-} Z_{cs}(3985)^{+}/K^{-} Z_{cs}(4000)^{+} + c.c.$ with $Z_{cs}(3985)^{\pm}/Z_{cs}(4000)^{\pm}\to K^{\pm} J/ψ$ are reported at 90\% confidence levels. The ratio of branching fractions $\frac{\mathcal{B}(Z_{cs}(3985)^{+}\to K^+ J/ψ)}{\mathcal{B}(Z_{cs}(3985)^{+}\to (\bar{D}^{0}D_s^{*+} + \bar{D}^{*0}D_s^+))}$ is measured to be less than 0.03 at 90\% confidence level.

is searched for. While no significant signal is observed, the upper limits at the 90\% confidence level for
$σ[e^{+}e^{-} \rightarrow γχ_{c1}(3872)] \mathcal{B}[χ_{c1}(3872) \rightarrow π^{+}π^{-}η]$ at center-of-mass energies from 4.13 to 4.34 GeV are determined.
By normalizing to the $χ_{c1}(3872)\toπ^+π^- J/ψ$ decay channel, a 90\% confidence level upper limit for the branching fraction ratio
$\mathcal{R}=\mathcal{B}[χ_{c1}(3872) \rightarrowπ^{+}π^{-}η]/\mathcal{B}[χ_{c1}(3872) \rightarrow π^{+}π^{-} J/ψ] < 0.12$ is given.
These measurements provide important inputs for understanding the internal structure of the $χ_{c1}(3872)$ resonance.

These results are consistent with the world average values within two standard deviations. The ratio of partial widths $Γ(J/ψ\toγη^\prime)/Γ(J/ψ\toγη)$ is measured to be $4.93 \pm 0.13$. The singlet-octet pseudoscalar mixing angle $θ_P$ is determined to be $θ_P = -(22.11 \pm0.26)^\circ$ or $-(19.34 \pm 0.34)^\circ$ with two different phenomenological models.

The rise in popularity of ChatGPT and GPT-4 has significantly accelerated the development of large models, leading to the creation of numerous impressive large language models(LLMs) and multimodal large language models (MLLMs). These cutting-edge models owe their remarkable performance to high-quality data. However, the details of the training data used in leading paradigms are often kept confidential. This lack of transparency, coupled with the scarcity of open-source data, impedes further developments within the community. As a response, this paper presents "Wan Juan", a large-scale multimodal dataset composed of both Chinese and English data, collected from a wide range of web sources. The dataset incorporates text, image-text, and video modalities, with a total volume exceeding 2TB. It was utilized in the training of InternLM, a model that demonstrated significant advantages in multi-dimensional evaluations when compared to models of a similar scale. All data can be accessed at https://opendatalab.org.cn/WanJuan1.0.

The dual-carbon goals of China necessitate precise accounting of company carbon emissions, vital for green development across all industries. Not only the company itself but also financial investors require accurate and comprehensive company-level emissions data for climate risk management. This paper introduces the structure and methodology of the High-resolution Database for Carbon Emissions of China-listed companies, integrating three primary data sources: self-disclosed environmental data from listed companies, long-accumulated national power emission data, and regional high-precision emission data derived from multi-source satellites. The database's innovation lies in the employment of artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms to aggregate multi-source satellite data. This approach enables the precise identification of carbon emission sources and the prediction of company-level carbon emissions. Consequently, this methodology robustly cross-validates self-reported direct emissions, enhancing the accuracy and granularity of company-level emission records. Central to the database's utility includes the provision of high-resolution company carbon emission data, which is not only highly accurate but also instrumental in carbon management and emission market transactions. By offering a more nuanced and verifiable picture of company emissions, the database supports China's broader efforts to meet its ambitious dual-carbon targets and transition towards a more sustainable and environmentally responsible economy.

Major depressive disorder is a serious and heterogeneous psychiatric disorder that needs accurate diagnosis. Resting-state functional MRI (rsfMRI), which captures multiple perspectives on brain structure, function, and connectivity, is increasingly applied in the diagnosis and pathological research of mental diseases. Different machine learning algorithms are then developed to exploit the rich information in rsfMRI and discriminate MDD patients from normal controls. Despite recent advances reported, the discrimination accuracy has room for further improvement. The generalizability and interpretability of the method are not sufficiently addressed either. Here, we propose a machine learning method (MFMC) for MDD discrimination by concatenating multiple features and stacking multiple classifiers. MFMC is tested on the REST-meta-MDD data set that contains 2428 subjects collected from 25 different sites. MFMC yields 96.9% MDD discrimination accuracy, demonstrating a significant improvement over existing methods. In addition, the generalizability of MFMC is validated by the good performance when the training and testing subjects are from independent sites. The use of XGBoost as the meta classifier allows us to probe the decision process of MFMC. We identify 13 feature values related to 9 brain regions including the posterior cingulate gyrus, superior frontal gyrus orbital part, and angular gyrus, which contribute most to the classification and also demonstrate significant differences at the group level. The use of these 13 feature values alone can reach 87% of MFMC's full performance when taking all feature values. These features may serve as clinically useful diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers for mental disorders in the future.
