The covariant tensor amplitude method is used in both mass independent and mass dependent approaches. Both analysis approaches exhibit dominant pseudoscalar and axial vector components, and show good consistency for the other individual components. Furthermore, the mass dependent analysis reveals that the $K^{0}_{S}K^{0}_{S}π^{0}$ invariant mass spectrum for the pseudoscalar component can be well described with two isoscalar resonant states using relativistic Breit-Wigner model, ${\it i.e.}$, the $η(1405)$ with a mass of $1391.7\pm0.7_{-0.3}^{+11.3}\mathrm{\ Me\kern -0.1em V}/c^2$ and a width of $60.8\pm1.2_{-12.0}^{+5.5}\mathrm{\ Me\kern -0.1em V}$, and the $η(1475)$ with a mass of $1507.6\pm1.6_{-32.2}^{+15.5}\mathrm{\ Me\kern -0.1em V}/c^2$ and a width of $115.8\pm2.4_{-10.9}^{+14.8}\mathrm{\ Me\kern -0.1em V}$. The first and second uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively. Alternate models for the pseudoscalar component are also tested, but the description of the $K^{0}_{S}K^{0}_{S}π^{0}$ invariant mass spectrum deteriorates significantly.

We introduce a new scheme for quantum circuit design called controlled gate networks. Rather than trying to reduce the complexity of individual unitary operations, the new strategy is to toggle between all of the unitary operations needed with the fewest number of gates. We illustrate our approach using two examples. The first example is a variational subspace calculation for a two-qubit system. We demonstrate an approximately five-fold reduction in the number of two-qubit gates required for computing inner products and Hamiltonian matrix elements. The second example is estimating the eigenvalues of a two-qubit Hamiltonian via the Rodeo Algorithm using a specific class of controlled gate networks called controlled reversal gates. Again, a fivefold reduction in the number of two-qubit gates is demonstrated. We use the Quantinuum H1-2 and IBM Perth devices to realize the quantum circuits. Our work demonstrates that controlled gate networks are a useful tool for reducing gate complexity in quantum algorithms for quantum many-body problems.

This is the first measurement of the electromagnetic Dalitz transition between the $ψ(3686)$ and the $η_c$, which provides new insight into the electromagnetic properties of this decay, and offers new opportunities to measure the absolute branching fractions of $η_c$ decays.

This is the most precise determination of this quantity to date. It provides valuable model-independent input for the measurement of the CKM angle $γ$ with $B^\pm\to D K^\pm$ decays, and for time-dependent studies of $C\!P$ violation and mixing in the $D^{0}$-$\bar{D}^{0}$ system.

The asymmetry between $C\!P$-odd and $C\!P$-even eigenstate decays into $K^-π^+$ is determined to be ${\cal A}_{Kπ} = 0.132 \pm 0.011 \pm 0.007$, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. This measurement is an update of an earlier study exploiting additional tagging modes, including several decay modes involving a $K^0_L$ meson. The branching fractions of the $K^0_L$ modes are determined as input to the analysis in a manner that is independent of any strong phase uncertainty. Using the predominantly $C\!P$-even tag $D\to π^+π^-π^0$ and the ensemble of $C\!P$-odd eigenstate tags, the observable ${\cal A}_{Kπ}^{πππ^0}$ is measured to be $0.130 \pm 0.012 \pm 0.008$. The two asymmetries are sensitive to $r_D^{Kπ} \cos δ_D^{Kπ}$, where $r_D^{Kπ}$ and $δ_D^{Kπ}$ are the ratio of amplitudes and phase difference, respectively, between the doubly Cabibbo-suppressed and Cabibbo-favoured decays. In addition, events containing $D \to K^-π^+$ tagged by $D \to K^0_{S,L} π^+π^-$ are studied in bins of phase space of the three-body decays. This analysis has sensitivity to both $r_D^{Kπ} \cos δ_D^{Kπ}$ and $r_D^{Kπ} \sin δ_D^{Kπ}$. A fit to ${\cal A}_{Kπ}$, ${\cal A}_{Kπ}^{πππ^0}$ and the phase-space distribution of the $D \to K^0_{S,L} π^+π^-$ tags yields $δ_D^{Kπ}= \left( 187.6 {^{+8.9}_{-9.7}}{^{+5.4}_{-6.4}} \right)$ degrees, where external constraints are applied for $r_D^{Kπ}$ and other relevant parameters. This is the most precise measurement of $δ_D^{Kπ}$ in quantum-correlated $D\bar{D}$ decays.

We report a branching fraction measurement of the singly Cabibbo-suppressed decay $Λ_{c}^{+}\toΛK^{+}$ using a data sample collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII storage ring. The data span center-of-mass energies from 4.599 to 4.950 GeV and correspond to an integrated luminosity of 6.44 fb$^{-1}$. The branching fraction of $Λ_{c}^{+}\toΛK^{+}$ relative to that of the Cabibbo-favored decay $Λ_{c}^{+}\toΛπ^{+}$ is measured to be $\mathcal{R}=\frac{\mathcal{B}(Λ_{c}^{+}\toΛK^{+})}{\mathcal{B}(Λ_{c}^{+}\toΛπ^{+})}=(4.78\pm0.34\pm0.20)\%$. Combining with the world-average value of $\mathcal{B}(Λ_{c}^{+}\toΛπ^{+})$, we obtain $\mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\toΛK^+)=(6.21\pm0.44\pm0.26\pm0.34)\times 10^{-4}$. Here the first uncertainties are statistical, the second systematic, and the third comes from the uncertainty of the $Λ_{c}^{+}\toΛπ^{+}$ branching fraction. This result, which is more precise than previous measurements, does not agree with theoretical predictions, and suggests that non-factorizable contributions have been under-estimated in current models.

Using data samples collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII storage ring, we measure the cross sections of the $e^{+}e^{-}\rightarrowπ^{+}π^{-}D^{+}D^{-}$ process at center-of-mass energies from 4.190 to 4.946 GeV with a partial reconstruction method. Two resonance structures are seen and the resonance parameters are determined from a fit to the cross section line shape. The first resonance we observe has a mass of (4373.1 $\pm$ 4.0 $\pm$ 2.2) MeV/$c^2$ and a width of (146.5 $\pm$ 7.4 $\pm$ 1.3) MeV, in agreement with those of the $Y(4390)$ state; the other resonance has a mass of (4706 $\pm$ 11 $\pm$ 4) MeV/$c^2$, a width of (45 $\pm$ 28 $\pm$ 9) MeV, and a statistical significance of $4.1$ standard deviations ($σ$). This is the first evidence for a vector state at this mass value. The spin-$3$ $D$-wave charmonium state $X(3842)$ is searched for through the $e^{+}e^{-}\rightarrowπ^{+}π^{-}X(3842)\rightarrowπ^{+}π^{-}D^{+}D^{-}$ process, and evidence with a significance of $4.2σ$ is found in the data samples with center-of-mass energies from 4.600 to 4.700 GeV.

The $Λ^{+}_{c}\to pη^{\prime}$ absolute branching fraction is determined to be $(5.62^{+2.46}_{-2.04} \pm 0.26)\times 10^{-4}$, where the first and second uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively. Our result is consistent with the branching fraction obtained by the Belle collaboration within the uncertainty of $1σ$.

Furthermore, we perform an investigation of the internal dynamics in $Λ_c^+\rightarrow Λe^+ν_e$. We provide the first direct comparisons of the differential decay rate and form factors with those predicted from lattice quantum chromodynamics (LQCD) calculations. Combining the measured branching fraction with a $q^2$-integrated rate predicted by LQCD, we determine $|V_{cs}|=0.936\pm0.017_{\mathcal{B}}\pm0.024_{\rm LQCD}\pm0.007_{τ_{Λ_c}}$.

Steganography usually modifies cover media to embed secret data. A new steganographic approach called generative steganography (GS) has emerged recently, in which stego images (images containing secret data) are generated from secret data directly without cover media. However, existing GS schemes are often criticized for their poor performances. In this paper, we propose an advanced generative steganography network (GSN) that can generate realistic stego images without using cover images. We firstly introduce the mutual information mechanism in GS, which helps to achieve high secret extraction accuracy. Our model contains four sub-networks, i.e., an image generator ($G$), a discriminator ($D$), a steganalyzer ($S$), and a data extractor ($E$). $D$ and $S$ act as two adversarial discriminators to ensure the visual quality and security of generated stego images. $E$ is to extract the hidden secret from generated stego images. The generator $G$ is flexibly constructed to synthesize either cover or stego images with different inputs. It facilitates covert communication by concealing the function of generating stego images in a normal generator. A module named secret block is designed to hide secret data in the feature maps during image generation, with which high hiding capacity and image fidelity are achieved. In addition, a novel hierarchical gradient decay (HGD) skill is developed to resist steganalysis detection. Experiments demonstrate the superiority of our work over existing methods.

The $Λ_c^+\rightarrow pK^-e^+ν_e$ decay is observed with a significance of $8.2σ$ and the branching fraction is measured to be $\mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\rightarrow pK^- e^+ν_e)=(0.88\pm0.17_{\rm stat.}\pm0.07_{\rm syst.})\times 10^{-3}$. We also report evidence of $Λ_c^+\rightarrow Λ(1520)e^+ν_e$ and $Λ_c^+\rightarrow Λ(1405)e^+ν_e$ with significances of $3.3σ$ and $3.2σ$, respectively, and measure $\mathcal B(Λ^+_c\rightarrow Λ(1520)e^+ν_e)=(1.02\pm0.52_{\rm stat.}\pm0.11_{\rm syst.})\times10^{-3}$ and $\mathcal B(Λ^+_c\rightarrow Λ(1405)[\rightarrow pK^-]e^+ν_e)=(0.42\pm0.19_{\rm stat.}\pm0.04_{\rm syst.})\times10^{-3}$. Combining these with the inclusive semileptonic $Λ_c^+$ branching fraction measured by BESIII, the relative fraction is determined to be $[\mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\rightarrow pK^-e^+ν_e)/\mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\rightarrow X e^+ν_e)]=(2.1\pm0.4_{\rm stat.}\pm0.2_{\rm syst.})\%$, which provides a clear confirmation that semileptonic $Λ_c^+$ decays are not saturated by the $Λ\ell^+ν_{\ell}$ final state.

In this paper, the potential benefits of applying the Rate-Splitting Multiple Access (RSMA) in multi-cell dense networks are explored. Using tools of stochastic geometry, the sum-rate of RSMA-enhanced multi-cell dense networks is evaluated mathematically based on a Moment Generating Function (MGF) based framework to prove that RSMA is a general and powerful strategy for multi-antenna downlink systems. Further elaboration of the systematic performance metrics is undertaken by develo** analytical expressions for area spectral efficiency and sum-rate in the RSMA-enhanced multi-cell dense networks. Based on the tractable expressions, we then offer an optimization framework for energy efficiency in terms of the number of antennas. Additionally, simulation results are shown to verify the accuracy of our analytical results and provide some insightful insights into system design. Analytically, it has been shown that: 1) the sum-rate of RSMA-enhanced multi-cell dense networks is significantly influenced by the power splitting ratio, and there is a unique value that maximizes the sum-rate; 2) the RSMA-enhanced multi-cell dense networks transmission scheme has superior sum-rate performance compared with Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) and Space-Division Multiple Access (SDMA) in a wide range of power splitting ratio; 3) By increasing the number of antennas and BS density in an RSMA-enhanced multi-cell dense network, the area spectral efficiency can be substantially enhanced; 4) As for energy efficiency, there exists an optimal antenna number for maximizing this performance metric.

Online social networks have stimulated communications over the Internet more than ever, making it possible for secret message transmission over such noisy channels. In this paper, we propose a Coverless Image Steganography Network, called CIS-Net, that synthesizes a high-quality image directly conditioned on the secret message to transfer. CIS-Net is composed of four modules, namely, the Generation, Adversarial, Extraction, and Noise Module. The receiver can extract the hidden message without any loss even the images have been distorted by JPEG compression attacks. To disguise the behaviour of steganography, we collected images in the context of profile photos and stickers and train our network accordingly. As such, the generated images are more inclined to escape from malicious detection and attack. The distinctions from previous image steganography methods are majorly the robustness and losslessness against diverse attacks. Experiments over diverse public datasets have manifested the superior ability of anti-steganalysis.

A search for interactions from solar $^8$B neutrinos elastically scattering off xenon nuclei using PandaX-4T commissioning data is reported. The energy threshold of this search is further lowered compared with the previous search for dark matter, with various techniques utilized to suppress the background that emerges from data with the lowered threshold. A blind analysis is performed on the data with an effective exposure of 0.48 tonne$\cdot$year, and no significant excess of events is observed. Among results obtained using the neutrino-nucleus coherent scattering, our results give the best constraint on the solar $^8$B neutrino flux. We further provide a more stringent limit on the cross section between dark matter and nucleon in the mass range from 3 to 9 GeV/c$^2$.

Revealing the Higgs pair production process is the next big challenge in high energy physics. In this work, we explore the use of interpretable machine learning and cooperative game theory for extraction of the trilinear Higgs self-coupling in Higgs pair production. In particular, we show how a topological decomposition of the gluon-gluon fusion Higgs pair production process can be used to simplify the machine learning analysis flow. Furthermore, we extend the analysis to include $q\bar{q}\to hh$ production, which is strongly suppressed in the Standard Model, to extract the trilinear Higgs coupling and to bound large deviations of the light-quark Yukawa couplings from the Standard Model values. The constraints on the rescaling of the trilinear Higgs self-coupling, $κ_λ$, and the rescaling of light-quark Yukawa couplings, $κ_u$ and $κ_d$, at HL-LHC (FCC-hh) from single parameter fits are: \begin{eqnarray}
κ_λ&=&[0.53,1.7] \;\;([0.97, 1.03])\nonumber \newline
κ_u&=&[-470,430] \;\;([-58,55])\nonumber \newline
κ_d&=&[-360,360] \;\;([-26,28])\nonumber \end{eqnarray} We show that the simultaneous modification of the Yukawa couplings can dilute the constraints on the trilinear coupling significantly. We perform similar analyses for FCC-hh. We discuss some motivated flavourful new physics scenarios where such an analysis prevails.

Videos are prone to tampering attacks that alter the meaning and deceive the audience. Previous video forgery detection schemes find tiny clues to locate the tampered areas. However, attackers can successfully evade supervision by destroying such clues using video compression or blurring. This paper proposes a video watermarking network for tampering localization. We jointly train a 3D-UNet-based watermark embedding network and a decoder that predicts the tampering mask. The perturbation made by watermark embedding is close to imperceptible. Considering that there is no off-the-shelf differentiable video codec simulator, we propose to mimic video compression by ensembling simulation results of other typical attacks, e.g., JPEG compression and blurring, as an approximation. Experimental results demonstrate that our method generates watermarked videos with good imperceptibility and robustly and accurately locates tampered areas within the attacked version.

Evidence for a structure at $π^+π^-$ mass threshold is observed in the invariant mass spectrum of $π^0π^0$ with a statistical significance of around $3.5σ$, which is consistent with the cusp effect as predicted by the nonrelativistic effective field theory. After introducing the amplitude for describing the cusp effect, the $ππ$ scattering length combination $a_0-a_2$ is determined to be $\rm 0.226\pm0.060_{stat}\pm0.013_{syst}$, which is in good agreement with theoretical calculation of $0.2644\pm0.0051$.

By a simultaneous fit to the measured, center-of-mass energy dependent cross sections of the two processes, the combined quantities $Γ_{ee} Γ_{ee} / Γ_{\rm tot}$ and $Γ_{ee} Γ_{μμ} / Γ_{\rm tot}$ are determined to be ($0.346 \pm 0.009$) and ($0.335 \pm 0.006$) keV, respectively, where $Γ_{ee}$, $Γ_{μμ}$, and $Γ_{\rm tot}$ are the electronic, muonic, and total decay widths of the $J/ψ$ resonance, respectively. Using the resultant $Γ_{ee} Γ_{μμ} / Γ_{\rm tot}$ and $Γ_{ee} Γ_{ee} / Γ_{\rm tot}$, the ratio $Γ_{ee} / Γ_{μμ}$ is calculated to be $1.031 \pm 0.015$, which is consistent with the expectation of lepton universality within about two standard deviations. Assuming lepton universality and using the branching fraction of the $J/ψ$ leptonic decay measured by BESIII in 2013, $Γ_{\rm tot}$ and $Γ_{ll}$ are determined to be ($93.0 \pm 2.1$) and ($5.56 \pm 0.11$) keV, respectively, where $Γ_{ll}$ is the average leptonic decay width of the $J/ψ$ resonance.

This is the first measurement of the relative phase for a $ψ(3686)$ decay into a pair of $Ξ^{-}\barΞ^{+}$ hyperons. Closed-form differential equations, including partial differential equations and higher-order ordinary differential equations, are one of the most important tools used by scientists to model and better understand natural phenomena. Discovering these equations directly from data is challenging because it requires modeling relationships between various derivatives that are not observed in the data (equation-data mismatch) and it involves searching across a huge space of possible equations. Current approaches make strong assumptions about the form of the equation and thus fail to discover many well-known systems. Moreover, many of them resolve the equation-data mismatch by estimating the derivatives, which makes them inadequate for noisy and infrequently sampled systems. To this end, we propose D-CIPHER, which is robust to measurement artifacts and can uncover a new and very general class of differential equations. We further design a novel optimization procedure, CoLLie, to help D-CIPHER search through this class efficiently. Finally, we demonstrate empirically that it can discover many well-known equations that are beyond the capabilities of current methods.

Detector and event visualization are essential parts of the software used in high-energy physics (HEP) experiments. Modern visualization techniques and multimedia production platforms such as Unity provide impressive display effects and professional extensions for visualization in HEP experiments. In this study, a method for automatic detector description transformation is presented, which can convert the complicated HEP detector geometry from GDML in offline software to 3D modeling in Unity. The method was successfully applied in the BESIII experiment and can be further developed into applications such as event displays, data monitoring, or virtual reality. It has great potential in detector design, offline software development, physics analysis, and outreach for next-generation HEP experiments as well as applications in nuclear techniques for the industry.

Two structures, identified as the $Y(4220)$ and the $Y(4320)$ states, are observed in the energy-dependent cross section with a significance larger than $10σ$. The masses and widths of the two structures are determined to be ($M, Γ$) = ($4221.4\pm1.5\pm2.0$ MeV/$c^{2}$, $41.8\pm2.9\pm2.7$ MeV) and ($M, Γ$) = ($4298\pm12\pm26$ MeV/$c^{2}$, $127\pm17\pm10$ MeV), respectively. A small enhancement around 4.5 GeV with a significance about $3σ$, compatible with the $ψ(4415)$, might also indicate the presence of an additional resonance in the spectrum. The inclusion of this additional contribution in the fit to the cross section affects the resonance parameters of the $Y(4320)$ state.

Estimating counterfactual outcomes over time has the potential to unlock personalized healthcare by assisting decision-makers to answer ''what-iF'' questions. Existing causal inference approaches typically consider regular, discrete-time intervals between observations and treatment decisions and hence are unable to naturally model irregularly sampled data, which is the common setting in practice. To handle arbitrary observation patterns, we interpret the data as samples from an underlying continuous-time process and propose to model its latent trajectory explicitly using the mathematics of controlled differential equations. This leads to a new approach, the Treatment Effect Neural Controlled Differential Equation (TE-CDE), that allows the potential outcomes to be evaluated at any time point. In addition, adversarial training is used to adjust for time-dependent confounding which is critical in longitudinal settings and is an added challenge not encountered in conventional time-series. To assess solutions to this problem, we propose a controllable simulation environment based on a model of tumor growth for a range of scenarios with irregular sampling reflective of a variety of clinical scenarios. TE-CDE consistently outperforms existing approaches in all simulated scenarios with irregular sampling.

Neutron-induced nuclear recoil background is critical to the dark matter searches in the PandaX-4T liquid xenon experiment. This paper studies the feature of neutron background in liquid xenon and evaluates their contribution in the single scattering nuclear recoil events through three methods. The first method is fully Monte Carlo simulation based. The last two are data-driven methods that also use the multiple scattering signals and high energy signals in the data, respectively. In the PandaX-4T commissioning data with an exposure of 0.63 tonne-year, all these methods give a consistent result that there are $1.15\pm0.57$ neutron-induced background in dark matter signal region within an approximated nuclear recoil energy window between 5 and 100 keV.

Previous researches on multimedia fake news detection include a series of complex feature extraction and fusion networks to gather useful information from the news. However, how cross-modal consistency relates to the fidelity of news and how features from different modalities affect the decision-making are still open questions. This paper presents a novel scheme of Bootstrap** Multi-view Representations (BMR) for fake news detection. Given a multi-modal news, we extract representations respectively from the views of the text, the image pattern and the image semantics. Improved Multi-gate Mixture-of-Expert networks (iMMoE) are proposed for feature refinement and fusion. Representations from each view are separately used to coarsely predict the fidelity of the whole news, and the multimodal representations are able to predict the cross-modal consistency. With the prediction scores, we reweigh each view of the representations and bootstrap them for fake news detection. Extensive experiments conducted on typical fake news detection datasets prove that the proposed BMR outperforms state-of-the-art schemes.

In this paper we establish a mathematical framework which may be used to design Monte-Carlo simulations for a class of time irreversible dynamic systems, such as incompressible fluid flows, including turbulent flows in wall-bounded regions, and some other (non-linear) dynamic systems. Path integral representations for solutions of forward parabolic equations are obtained, and, in combining with the vorticity transport equations, probabilistic formulations for solutions of the Navier-Stokes equations are therefore derived in terms of (forward) McKean-Vlasov stochastic differential equations (SDEs), which provides us with the mathematical framework for Monte-Carlo simulations of wall-bounded turbulent flows.

Neural Ordinary Differential Equations model dynamical systems with ODEs learned by neural networks. However, ODEs are fundamentally inadequate to model systems with long-range dependencies or discontinuities, which are common in engineering and biological systems. Broader classes of differential equations (DE) have been proposed as remedies, including delay differential equations and integro-differential equations. Furthermore, Neural ODE suffers from numerical instability when modelling stiff ODEs and ODEs with piecewise forcing functions. In this work, we propose Neural Laplace, a unified framework for learning diverse classes of DEs including all the aforementioned ones. Instead of modelling the dynamics in the time domain, we model it in the Laplace domain, where the history-dependencies and discontinuities in time can be represented as summations of complex exponentials. To make learning more efficient, we use the geometrical stereographic map of a Riemann sphere to induce more smoothness in the Laplace domain. In the experiments, Neural Laplace shows superior performance in modelling and extrapolating the trajectories of diverse classes of DEs, including the ones with complex history dependency and abrupt changes.

Existing image crop** detection schemes ignore that recovering the cropped-out contents can unveil the purpose of the behaved crop** attack. This paper presents \textbf{CLR}-Net, a novel image protection scheme addressing the combined challenge of image \textbf{C}rop** \textbf{L}ocalization and \textbf{R}ecovery. We first protect the original image by introducing imperceptible perturbations. Then, typical image post-processing attacks are simulated to erode the protected image. On the recipient's side, we predict the crop** mask and recover the original image. Besides, we propose a novel \textbf{F}ine-\textbf{G}rained generative \textbf{JPEG} simulator (FG-JPEG) as well as a feature alignment network to improve the real-world robustness. Comprehensive experiments prove that the quality of the recovered image and the accuracy of crop localization are both satisfactory.

We report a search on a sub-MeV fermionic dark matter absorbed by electrons with an outgoing active neutrino using the 0.63 tonne-year exposure collected by PandaX-4T liquid xenon experiment. No significant signals are observed over the expected background. The data are interpreted into limits to the effective couplings between such dark matter and electrons. For axial-vector or vector interactions, our sensitivity is competitive in comparison to existing astrophysical bounds on the decay of such dark matter into photon final states. In particular, we present the first direct detection limits for an axial-vector (vector) interaction which are the strongest in the mass range from 25 to 45 (35 to 50) keV/c$^2$.

Videos can be easily tampered, copied and redistributed by attackers for illegal and monetary usage. Such behaviors severely jeopardize the interest of content owners. Despite huge efforts made in digital video watermarking for copyright protection, typical distortions in video transmission including signal attacks, geometric attacks and temporal synchronization attacks can still easily erase the embedded signal. Among them, temporal synchronization attacks which include frame drop**, frame insertion and frame rate conversion is one of the most prevalent attacks. To address this issue, we present a new video watermarking based on joint Dual-Tree Cosine Wavelet Transformation (DTCWT) and Singular Value Decomposition (SVD), which is resistant to frame rate conversion. We first extract a set of candidate coefficient by applying SVD decomposition after DTCWT transform. Then, we simulate the watermark embedding by adjusting the shape of candidate coefficient. Finally, we perform group-level watermarking that includes moderate temporal redundancy to resist temporal desynchronization attacks. Extensive experimental results show that the proposed scheme is more resilient to temporal desynchronization attacks and performs better than the existing blind video watermarking schemes.

In this Letter, we explore the $95.0$-day data from the PandaX-4T commissioning run and report the first dedicated searching results of the fermionic dark matter absorption signal through a neutral current process. No significant signal was found, and the lowest limit on the dark matter-nucleon interaction cross section is set to be $1.5\times10^{-50}$ cm$^2$ for a fermionic dark matter mass of $40$ MeV/$c^2$ with 90\% confidence level.

Multimodal fake news detection has attracted many research interests in social forensics. Many existing approaches introduce tailored attention mechanisms to guide the fusion of unimodal features. However, how the similarity of these features is calculated and how it will affect the decision-making process in FND are still open questions. Besides, the potential of pretrained multi-modal feature learning models in fake news detection has not been well exploited. This paper proposes a FND-CLIP framework, i.e., a multimodal Fake News Detection network based on Contrastive Language-Image Pretraining (CLIP). Given a targeted multimodal news, we extract the deep representations from the image and text using a ResNet-based encoder, a BERT-based encoder and two pair-wise CLIP encoders. The multimodal feature is a concatenation of the CLIP-generated features weighted by the standardized cross-modal similarity of the two modalities. The extracted features are further processed for redundancy reduction before feeding them into the final classifier. We introduce a modality-wise attention module to adaptively reweight and aggregate the features. We have conducted extensive experiments on typical fake news datasets. The results indicate that the proposed framework has a better capability in mining crucial features for fake news detection. The proposed FND-CLIP can achieve better performances than previous works, i.e., 0.7\%, 6.8\% and 1.3\% improvements in overall accuracy on Weibo, Politifact and Gossipcop, respectively. Besides, we justify that CLIP-based learning can allow better flexibility on multimodal feature selection.

By analyzing an electron-positron collision data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $2.93\,\rm fb^{-1}$ taken at the center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector, we obtain for the first time the absolute branching fractions for seven $D^0$ and $D^+$ hadronic decay modes and search for the hadronic decay $D^0\to K^0_S K^0_Sπ^0$ with much improved sensitivity. The results are ${\mathcal B}(D^0\to K^0_Sπ^0π^0π^0 )=( 7.64\pm 0.30\pm 0.29)\times 10^{-3}$, ${\mathcal B}(D^0\to K^-π^+π^0π^0π^0 )=( 9.54\pm 0.30\pm 0.31)\times 10^{-3}$, ${\mathcal B}(D^0\to K^0_Sπ^+π^-π^0π^0)=(12.66\pm 0.45\pm 0.43)\times 10^{-3}$, ${\mathcal B}(D^+\to K^0_Sπ^+π^0π^0 )=(29.04\pm 0.62\pm 0.87)\times 10^{-3}$, ${\mathcal B}(D^+\to K^0_Sπ^+π^+π^-π^0)=(15.28\pm 0.57\pm 0.60)\times 10^{-3}$, ${\mathcal B}(D^+\to K^0_Sπ^+π^0π^0π^0)=( 5.54\pm 0.44\pm 0.32)\times 10^{-3}$, ${\mathcal B}(D^+\to K^-π^+π^+π^0π^0 )=( 4.95\pm 0.26\pm 0.19)\times 10^{-3}$, ${\mathcal B}({D^0\to K^0_S K^0_Sπ^0}) < 1.57 \times 10^{-4}$ at the 90\% confidence level. Here the first uncertainties are statistical and the second ones systematic. The newly studied decays greatly enrich the knowledge of the $D\to \bar Kπππ$ and $D\to \bar Kππππ$ hadronic decays, and open a bridge to access more two-body hadronic $D$ decays containing scalar, vector, axial and tensor mesons in the charm sector.

The first amplitude analysis of $D_{s}^{+} \to K^+π^{+}π^{-}π^{0}$ reveals the sub-structures in this decay and determines the fractions and relative phases of different intermediate processes. The dominant intermediate process is $D_s^+ \to K^{*0}ρ^+$, with a fit fraction of $(40.5\pm2.8_{\rm{stat.}}\pm1.5_{\rm{syst.}})\%$. With the detection efficiency based on our amplitude analysis, the absolute branching fraction for $D_{s}^{+} \to K^+π^{+}π^{-}π^{0}$ is measured to be $(9.75\pm0.54_{\rm{stat.}}\pm0.17_{\rm{syst.}})\times 10^{-3}$.
