In this work, we investigate the dissociation energy of the North (N) and South (S) poles of a quantum magnetic particle, incorporated within both classical and quantum mechanical perspectives. A simple model of a harmonic oscillator is employed to estimate the dissociation energy of the N-S poles, as well as the corresponding breakdown temperature and internal pressure. The results indicate that the separation of magnetic poles occurs in two states: (a) in an ultra-hot plasma medium with extremely high temperatures, such as in the core of a hot star, and (b) at extremely high pressures, such as between internal plates in complex superlattices of layered solids. The breakdown temperature is found to be of the order of $10^7$ to $10^8$ Kelvin, which is only achievable in an ultra-hot plasma environment, known as the fifth phase of matter. Based on this model, the possibility of dissociation of bonds between N and S magnetic poles for solid superlattices under very high pressures between crystal plates is also calculated. The results suggest that the presence of isolated magnetic monopoles in superlattices of solids under ultra-high-pressure conditions is possible. Consequently, the model proposes that the conductivity of magnetic monopole carriers can be applied to the manipulation of nanomaterials for the production of advanced devices, such as new generations of superconductors, new spin devices, and magnetic-electronics, advanced materials with magnetic monopoles, as well as super-dielectrics.

Moreover, we study the geometrical thermodynamics and find that the behaviour of the linear Maxwell solution is the same as the nonlinear one.

One way to test quantum gravitational corrections is through black hole physics. In this paper, We investigate the scales at which quantum gravitational corrections can be detected in a black hole using information theory. This is done by calculating the Kullback-Leibler divergence for the probability distributions obtained from the Parikh-Wilczek formalism. We observe that the quantum gravitational corrections increase the Kullback-Leibler divergence as the mass of the black hole decreases, which is expected as quantum gravitational corrections can be neglected for larger black holes. However, we further observe that after a certain critical value, quantum gravitational corrections tend to decrease again as the mass of the black hole decreases. To understand the reason behind this behavior, we explicitly obtain Fisher information about such quantum gravitational corrections and find that it also increases as the mass decreases, but again, after a critical value, it decreases. This is because at such a scale, quantum fluctuations dominate the system and we lose information about the system. We obtain these results for higher-dimensional black holes and observe this behavior for Kullback-Leibler divergence and Fisher information depending on the dimensions of the black hole. These results can quantify the scale dependence and dimension dependence of the difficulty in detecting quantum gravitational corrections.

We investigate thermodynamic schemes of charged BTZ-like black holes in arbitrary dimensions, namely higher-dimensional charged black holes in which the electromagnetic sector exhibits the same properties with that of the usual three-dimensional BTZ solution. We first present the Euclidean on-shell action in arbitrary dimensions, inserting a radial cutoff. We then extract the corresponding thermodynamic quantities from the semi-classical partition function in different ensembles and find that there exist two possible thermodynamic schemes, with different outcomes. Regarding the traditional scheme (scheme I), where the length cutoff is identified with the AdS radius, we show that charged BTZ-like black holes are super-entropic, namely they violate the reverse isoperimetric inequality conjecture, and their super-entropicity is strongly connected to a fundamental thermodynamic instability. This class of solutions is the first demonstration of super-entropic black holes which possess second-order critical points and, since thermodynamic instabilities always arise, it is not possible to physically interpret the corresponding van der Waals critical phenomenon in this scheme. In the second scheme (II) where the length cutoff is considered as an independent variable, namely the system respects the conjectured reverse isoperimetric inequality, we show that the solutions are thermodynamically stable in an ensemble where the length cutoff is kept fixed, and hence one can provide an explanation for the van der Waals critical phenomenon. Furthermore, in order to verify the consistency of the second scheme, we study the Joule-Thomson expansion and we extract the Joule-Thomson coefficient, the inversion temperature, the inversion curves, and the isenthalpic curves. The results indicate that this class of AdS black holes can be considered as interacting statistical systems. Additionally, ...

We present general solutions of Horndeski-like gravity that can interpolate between the de Sitter and anti-de Sitter regimes. In particular, we develop the first-order formalism with two scalar fields, and considering a black hole ansatz with flat slicing we investigate three different cases, namely exponential, vacuum, and smooth superpotential solutions, with no Minkowski extrema. Furthermore, with these solutions we show that a Renormalization Group flow is established, and we obtain a turnaround in the warp factor, where the transition is bounded by the area low. We discuss the ideal regimes to trap gravity, which are constructed using the holographic function, which provides stable and unstable regimes to localize gravity. Thermodynamic Riemannian geometry provides great insights into the microscopic structure of black holes (BHs). One such example is the Ruppeiner geometry which is the metric space comprising the second derivatives of entropy with respect to other extensive variables of the system. Reissner-Nordström black holes (RNBHs) are known to be endowed with a flat Ruppeiner geometry for all higher spacetime dimensions. However this holds true if one invokes classical gravity where the semi-classical Bekenstein-Hawking entropy best describes the thermodynamics of the system. If the much deeper quantum gravity and string theories entail modifications to BH entropy, this prompts the question whether the Ruppeiner flatness associated with higher dimensional RNBHs still persists. We investigate this problem by considering non-perturbative (exponential) and perturbative (logarithmic) modifications to BH entropy of a $5$D RNBH. We find that while the case is so for larger (classical) geometries, the situation is radically altered for smaller (quantum) geometries. Namely, we show surprising emergence of multiple phase transitions that depend on the choice of extent of corrections to BH entropy and charge. Our consideration involves differentiated extremal and non-extremal geometric scales corresponding to the validity regime of corrections to entropy. More emphasis is laid on the exponential case as the contributions become highly non-trivial on small scales. An essential critical mass scale arises in this case that marks the onset of these phase transitions while the BH diminishes in size via Hawking evaporation. We contend that this critical value of mass perhaps best translates as the epoch of a classical to quantum BH phase transition.

In this paper, we study a particular type of inflation by using non-local Friedman equations that are somehow derived from the zero levels of string field theory and express a tachyonic action. Then, we challenge it by further refining de Sitter (dS) swampland conjecture (FRdSSC) monitoring. Therefore, we investigate some quantities, such as potential and Hubble parameters. We also consider slow-roll parameters to examine quantities such as the scalar spectrum index and the tensor-to-scalar ratio. Using straightforward calculations, we investigate this model from the swampland conjecture perspective in terms of the cosmological parameters, i.e., ($n_s$), ($r$), and observable data such as Planck 2018, by constructing some structures such as $(c_1,2-n_s)$ and $(c_1,2-r_s)$. Then, we make a new restriction for this conjecture as $c_12c_22$ and get a limit for this model in the range $c0.0942$. We find this inflationary model is strongly in tension with the dS swampland conjecture (dSSC), i.e., $c_1=c_2 \neq \mathcal{O}(1)$. So, we shall challenge it with the FRdSSC, which has some free parameters, viz., $a,b>0$, $a+b=1$, and $q>2$. By setting these parameters, we examine the compatibility of the mentioned conjecture with this inflationary model. Finally, we infer from this string field inflation model that it satisfies the FRdSSC with the constraint of its free parameters $a$, $b$, and $q$.

The research of superradiant instability in the realm of quantum gravity is a well-known topic, with many physicists and astronomers studying the potential impact it can have on gravitational waves, the structure of the universe, and spacetime itself. In this work, we investigate the superradiant (in)stability of a rotating black hole obtained from the nonlinear Maxwell $f(R)$ gravity theory. In this study, the evaluation of stability/instability is going to be based on non-existence and existence of magnetic field, when the magnetic field constant becomes $c_{4}=0$ and $c_{4}\neq 0$, respectively. The analyzes of greybody factor (GF) and quasinormal modes (QNMs) are investigated in the stationary black hole spacetime both in the absence and presence of the magnetic field parameter. To this end, we first consider the Klein-Gordon equation for the complex scalar field in the geometry of that rotating black hole. In the sequel, the obtained radial equation is reduced to a one-dimensional Schrödinger-like wave equation with an effective potential energy. The effects of the nonlinear Maxwell $f(R)$ gravity theory parameters ($q$, $c$, and $c_{4}$) on the effective potential, GFs, and QNMs are thoroughly investigated. The obtained results show that even though the factors $q$, $c$, and $c_{4}$ all affect the effective potential, this phenomena, surprisingly, is not valid for the GFs and QNMs. With the proper graphics and tables, all outputs are depicted, tabulated, and interpreted.

Recently, many researchers have studied different wormholes according to different criteria, and they achieved remarkable results. By using two separated ways we obtain the corrected entropy of the black hole. Equality of results gives us a special condition that may solve the information loss paradox. Then, we focus on the phase transitions, and the results show that if the effects of thermal fluctuations are incorporated in the entropy, the black hole is unstable, while there are phase transitions according to the sign-changing behavior of the black hole specific heat. We find that, in presence of thermal fluctuations, the black holes of five-dimensional minimal supergravity behave like the black holes in Horava-Lifshitz gravity hence the second-order phase transition is possible.

Recently researchers have been studying various conditions as swampland criteria in cosmological implications. They have studied many inflation models with different swampland conditions. Occasionally these conjectures are modified and lead to fascinating points. The swampland conjecture is in contradiction with the slow-roll single-field inflation model. So in this paper, we will briefly describe resolving this contradiction with the special method; we consider a small parameter λ with respect to a coupling function in inflation and resolve this important antithesis. Then we will discuss a new point of view in studying inflation models according to the swampland criteria. Therefore we introduce some inflation models and challenge the swampland criteria. We specify the allowable range of cosmological parameters as the tensor-to-scalar ratio (r) the scalar spectral index (ns) according to the latest observable data. Several novel approaches have been proposed to resolve the problem of time by relating it to change. We argue using quantum information theory that the Hamiltonian constraint in quantum gravity cannot probe change, so it cannot be used to obtain a meaningful notion of time. This is due to the absence of quantum Fisher information with respect to the quantum Hamiltonian of a time-reparametization invariant system. We also observe that the inability of this Hamiltonian to probe change can be related to its inability to discriminate between states of such a system. However, if the time-reparametization symmetry is spontaneously broken due to the formation of quantum cosmological time crystals, these problems can be resolved, and it is possible for time to emerge in quantum gravity.

In this paper, we introduce a modified $f(R)$ gravitational model as ($R+γR^{p}$) in order to examine a new condition for inflation models. Given that our studies are related to a modified $f(R)$ gravitational model on the brane, therefore we will encounter modified cosmological parameters. So, we first introduce these modified cosmological parameters such as spectral index, a number of e-folds and etc. Then, we apply these conditions to our modified $f(R)$ gravitational model in order to adapt to the swampland criteria. Finally, we determine the range of each of these parameters by plotting some figures and with respect to observable data such as Planck 2018.

In this paper, we consider three-dimensional massive gravity's rainbow and obtain black hole solutions in three different cases of Born-Infeld, logarithmic, and exponential theories of nonlinear electrodynamics. We discuss the horizon structure and geometrical properties. Then, we study thermodynamics of these models by considering the first-order quantum correction effects, which appears as a logarithmic term in the black hole entropy. We discuss such effects on the black hole stability and phase transitions. We find that, due to the quantum corrections, the second-order phase transition happens in Born-Infeld and logarithmic models. We obtain the modified first law of black hole thermodynamics in the presence of logarithmic corrections.

We study the dense nuclear matter within the holographic Sakai-Sugimoto model. The nuclear matter is described via instantons in bulk, whose size has the new temperature dependency. Then, properties of nuclear matter have been studied for different temperatures. For example, free energy and baryon density are examined for different temperature values. Also, nuclear matter properties, like the speed of sound and connection of nuclear matter and quark matter, are discussed. As we have increased the temperature, the phase transition value has been changed from baryon to quark, which is non-physical. Also, we can see continuity between the baryonic and quark phases. Speed of sound at the low chemical potential in the presence of temperature is different, but when the potential increases, the effect of temperature on the speed of sound will remain unchanged. In the phase diagram, for significant chemical potential, chiral symmetry is restored and provides all things that we have the realistic model.

In this paper, we study the inflationary scenario in logarithmic f(R) gravity, where the rate of inflation roll is constant. On the other hand, our gravitational f(R) model is a polynomial plus a logarithmic term. We take advantage of constant-roll conditions and investigate the cosmic evolution of the logarithmic f(R) gravity. Therefore, we plot some figures such as the scalar spectrum index $n_{s}$ and tensor-to-scaler ratio $r$ concerning $n$, $β$ and model's constant parameters, i.e., $α$, $θ$ and $γ$ respectively. Also, we obtain the potential by using the constant roll condition. We know that the potential value obtained with this condition has an exact value. In present manuscript, we use the Boltzmann and Tsallis statistical approaches to study the large distance modification of gravity in the brane world. The impact of modified potential on clustering of galaxies is analyzed in both the approaches. The infinities associated with Newtonian point mass approximation of gravity models is removed using the analytical extensions. The regularized and finite partition function is obtained for the system of galaxies in the brane world model and is used to evaluate the regularized thermodynamic properties of the system in the form of equations of state. Hence, we study thermodynamic quantities and discuss about the thermodynamic stability of the model. We find that large number of galaxies may lead to the thermodynamic instability.

In this paper, we study the massive Dirac equation with the presence of the Morse potential in polar coordinate. The Dirac Hamiltonian is written as two second-order differential equations in terms of two spinor wavefunctions. Since the motion of electrons in graphene is propagated like relativistic fermionic quasi-particles, then one is considered only with pseudospin symmetry for aligned spin and unaligned spin by arbitrary $k$. Next, we use the confluent Heun's function for calculating the wavefunctions and the eigenvalues. Then, the corresponding energy spectrum obtains in terms of $N$ and $k$. Afterward, we plot the graphs of the energy spectrum and the wavefunctions in terms of $k$ and $r$, respectively. Moreover, we investigate the graphene band structure by a linear dispersion relation which creates an energy gap in the Dirac points called gapped graphene. Finally, we plot the graph of the valence and conduction bands in terms of wavevectors.

Effects from nonstandard corrections to Newtonian gravity, at large scale, can be investigated using the cosmological structure formation. In particular, it is possible to show if and how a logarithmic correction (as that induced from nonlocal gravity) modifies the clustering properties of galaxies and of clusters of galaxies. The thermodynamics of such systems can be used to obtain important information about the effects of such modification on clustering. We will compare its effects with observational data and it will be demonstrated that the observations seem to point to a characteristic scale where such a logarithmic correction might be in play at galactic scales. However, at larger scales such statistical inferences are much weaker, so that a fully reliable statistical evidence for this kind of corrections cannot be stated without further investigations and the use of more varied and precise cosmological and astrophysical probes.

We will use the Jarzynski equality to obtain this quantum work modified by non-perturbative quantum gravitational corrections. These non-perturbative corrections will also modify the stability of a quantum Myers-Perry black hole. Gravity is so different from other fundamental forces that it is now essentially treated as a non-fundamental force of entropic origin. A number of good studies have been carried out in this direction. Quantum gravity has also significantly improved our understanding by combining gravity well with quantum physics. However, there are still many impediments to our understanding especially in the limits of extreme. The effects of quantum gravity start appearing on the scene at Planck length which is the smallest length in nature idealized so far. While as this study incorporates a model which is valid for potential energy corrections at small distances but we have also given a bold try to use it confidently for the corrections at very large distances as well. The model uses two techniques namely Boltzmann and Tsallis statistical approaches to explore the thermodynamics within the ambit of brane world model giving its further modified version. We have computed partition function by using both Boltzmann and Tsallis statistical approaches and then used it to study thermodynamics of the brane world model. We have analyzed both analytically and graphically, the thermodynamic quantities like Helmholtz free energy and specific heat. Our primary goal in this paper is to confirm new universal relations in black hole thermodynamics. We investigate the universal relations by selecting different black holes. First, we obtain the black holes' thermodynamic relations assuming a new minor correction is added to the AdS part of the action. Then we confirm the universal relations by performing a series of direct calculations. It is noteworthy that according to each of the properties related to black holes, a new universal relation can be obtained according to this method. We confirm two different types of these universal relations for various block holes. Furthermore, we also consider black holes in AdS space surrounded by perfect fluid. We use the small correction to the action and obtain the modified thermodynamic quantities. We achieve two new universal relations which correspond to the parameters of perfect fluid and magnetic charge of the Bardeen AdS Black Hole. Finally, the new universal relation leads us to understand the charge-to-mass ratio, i.e., WGC-like behavior. We also find that the weak gravity conjecture condition is satisfied for the black hole surrounded by perfect fluid.

A series of corrections to general relativity have recently been applied to find the relationship between entropy and extremality-bound black holes. This relationship has been investigated for many black holes, such as charged AdS, rotating, and massive gravity black holes. We give a minor constant correction to the action and confirm these universal relations for a charged-rotating-AdS black hole. We then examine these calculations for the black hole, surrounded by the quintessence and the cloud of string. In this paper, we evaluate a new universal relation. It means that we find the relation between the extremal mass of the black hole and the factor of cloud string and observe that the corresponding universal relation is well established. We find that the quintessence terms play a very effective role in calculating the mass-charge ratio and concept of weak gravity conjecture of black holes. We note here that the added constant correction is inversely related to the entropy of the black hole. It leads us to see that the mass-to-charge ratio decreases and fully confirms the black hole's weak gravity conjecture (WGC).

We now find the effect of such modification on the black hole mass and other thermodynamics quantities. We find that the Schwarzschild black hole mass decreased by thermal fluctuations. Hence, we study exponential corrected thermodynamics and statistics of black holes by computing the partition function. We obtain the special condition on the event horizon radius to satisfy Smarr-Gibbs-Duhem relation in the presence of quantum correction. As we know, the Schwarzschild black hole is unstable, while the effect of exponential correction is the stability of $4D$ Schwarzschild black hole as well as the Schwarzschild-AdS black hole at a small area. On the other hand, a $5D$ Schwarzschild black hole is completely unstable. The effect of the quantum correction on the Reissner-Nordström black hole is instability at quantum scales. In this note, we explore the thermodynamic properties of the universe in the background of the generalized energy-momentum-squared gravity. We derive the energy density of matter from the non-standard continuity equation and use it in our analysis. We consider two types of models depending on the nature of coupling between curvature and matter and perform thermodynamic analysis on them using the cosmic apparent horizon. The models are kept as generic as possible from the mathematical point of view in order to gain a wide applicability of the work. In this work we have considered power law and exponential form of models. All the thermodynamic parameters are expressed in terms of the cosmic apparent horizon radius and its time derivatives and their time evolution are studied. By using temperature, heat capacity analysis and the evolution trend of Helmholtz free energy the conditions for thermodynamic stability of the models are derived. It is seen that our stability analysis considerably constrain the parameter space of the model.

We also analyze a gravitational phase transition in this system using the mean field theory. We construct the cosmic energy equation for this system of galaxies, and discuss its consequences. We obtain and analyze the distribution function for this system, using the gravitational partition function. We also compare the results obtained in this paper with the observational data.

We will also analyze the Van der Waals behavior for this system, and observe that the Van der Waals behavior depends on the graviton mass. It will be observed that the thermal fluctuations can modify the behavior of this system. We will explicitly analyze the effect of such fluctuations on the stability of this black string solution. This will be done using the Hessian matrix for this system.

Using T-duality, we will argue that a zero point length exists in the low energy effective field theory of string theory on compactified extra dimensions. Furthermore, if we neglect the oscillator modes, this zero point length would modify low quantum mechanical systems. Using T-duality, we will argue that a zero point length exists in the low energy effective field theory of string theory on compactified extra dimensions. Furthermore, if we neglect the oscillator modes, this zero point length would modify low quantum mechanical systems. As this zero length is fixed geometrically, it is important to analyze how it modifies purely quantum mechanical effects. Thus, we will analyze its effects on quantum erasers, because they are based on quantum effects like entanglement. It will be observed that the behavior of these quantum erasers gets modified by this zero point length. As the zero point length is fixed by the radius of compactification, we argue that these results demonstrate a deeper connection between geometry and quantum effects.

Abstract:
In this paper we study the recently proposed $f(R,\mathcal{L})$ theories from a thermodynamic point of view. In this paper we study the recently proposed $f(R,\mathcal{L})$ theories from a thermodynamic point of view. The uniqueness of these theories lies in the fact that the space-time curvature is coupled to the baryonic matter instead of exotic matter (in the form of scalar field). We investigate the viability of these theories from the point of view of the thermodynamic stability of the models. To be more precise here we are concerned with the thermodynamics of the apparent horizon of Friedmann-Lemaitre-Robertson-Walker (FLRW) spacetime in the background of the $f(R,\mathcal{L})$ theory. We consider several models of $f(R,\mathcal{L})$ theories where both minimal and non-minimal coupling has been considered. Various thermodynamic quantities like entropy, enthalpy, internal energy, Gibbs free energy, etc. are computed and using their allowed ranges various model parameters are constrained.

In this paper, we will analyze the physical consequences of black remnants, which form due to non-perturbative string theoretical effects. These non-perturbative effects occur due to the T-duality in string theory. We will analyze the production of such black remnants in models with large extra dimensions, and demonstrate that these non-perturbative effects can explain the absence of mini black holes at the LHC. In fact, will constraint such models using data from the LHC. We will also analyze such non-perturbative corrections for various other black hole solutions. Thus, we will analyze the effects of such non-perturbative effects on the Van der Waals behavior of AdS black holes. We will also discuss the effects of adding a chemical potential to this system. Finally, we will comment on the physical consequences of such non-pertubative corrections to black hole solutions.

In this paper, we analyze the clustering of galaxies using a modified theory of gravity, in which the field content of general relativity has been be increased. This increasing in the field content of general relativity changes the large distance behavior of the theory, and in weak field approximation, it will also modify the large distance behavior of Newtonian potential. So, we will analyzing the clustering of multi-component system of galaxies interacting through this modified Newtonian potential. We will obtain the partition function for this multi-component system, and study the thermodynamics of this system. So, we will analyze the effects of the large distance modification to the Newtonian potential on Helmholtz free energy, internal energy, entropy, pressure and chemical potential of this system. We obtain also the modified distribution function and the modified clustering parameter for this system, and hence observe the effect of large distance modification of Newtonian potential on clustering of galaxies.
