A proof of Hall's conjecture on length of ray images under starlike map**s of order $α$
Abstract: Assume that $f$ lies in the class of starlike functions of order $α\in [0,1)$, that is, which are regular and univalent for $|z|<1$ and such that $${\rm Re} \left (\frac{zf'(z)}{f(z)} \right ) > α~\mbox{ for } |z|<1. $$ In this paper we show that for each $α\in [0,1)$, the following sharp inequality holds: $… ▽ More

Refinement of the Classical Bohr Inequality
Abstract: The classical inequality of Bohr asserts that if a power series converges in the unit disk and its sum has modulus less than or equal to $1$, then the sum of absolute values of its terms is less than or equal to $1$ for the subdisk $|z|<1/3$ and $1/3$ is the best possible constant. Recently, there has been a number of investigations on this topic. In this article, we present a refined version of B… ▽ More

Rotations and convolutions of harmonic convex map**s
Abstract: In this paper, we consider the convolutions of slanted half-plane map**s and strip map**s and generalize related results in general settings. We also consider a class of harmonic map**s containing slanted half-plane map**s and strip map**s and, as a consequence, we prove that the convex combination of such map**s is convex.

Extreme points and support points of families of harmonic Bloch map**s
Abstract: In this paper, the main aim is to discuss the existence of the extreme points and support points of families of harmonic Bloch map**s and little harmonic Bloch map**s. First, in terms of the Bloch unit-valued set, we prove a necessary condition for a harmonic Bloch map** (resp. a little harmonic Bloch map**) to be an extreme point of the unit ball of the normalized harmonic Bloch spaces (r… ▽ More

Improved Bohr's phenomenon in quasi-subordination classes
Abstract: Recently the present authors established refined versions of Bohr's inequality in the case of bounded analytic functions. In this article, we state and prove a generalization of these results in a reformulated "distance form" version and thereby we extend the refined versions of the Bohr inequality for the class of the quasi-subordinations which contains both the classes of majorization and subord… ▽ More

On univalent log-harmonic map**s
Abstract: We consider the class univalent log-harmonic map**s on the unit disk. Firstly, we obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for a complex-valued continuous function to be starlike or convex in the unit disk. Then we present a general idea, for example, to construct log-harmonic Koebe map**, log-harmonic right half-plane map** and log-harmonic two-slits map** and then we show precise range… ▽ More

Bohr radius for subordination and $K$-quasiconformal harmonic map**s
Abstract: The present article concerns the Bohr radius for $K$-quasiconformal sense-preserving harmonic map**s $f=h+\overline{g}$ in the unit disk $\mathbb{D}$ for which the analytic part $h$ is subordinated to some analytic function $\varphi$, and the purpose is to look into two cases: when $\varphi$ is convex, or a general univalent function in $\ID$. The results state that if… ▽ More

Differential Inequalities and Univalent Functions
Abstract: Let ${\mathcal M}$ be the class of analytic functions in the unit disk $\ID$ with the normalization $f(0)=f'(0)-1=0$, and satisfying the condition $$\left |z^2\left (\frac{z}{f(z)}\right )''+ f'(z)\left(\frac{z}{f(z)} \right)^{2}-1\right |\leq 1, \quad z\in \ID. $$ Functions in $\mathcal{M}$ are known to be univalent in $\ID$. In this paper, it is shown that the harmonic mean of two functions in… ▽ More

On classes of meromorphic locally univalent functions defined by differential inequalities
Abstract: n this article we consider functions meromorphic in the unit disk. We give an elementary proof for a condition that is sufficient for the univalence of such functions which also contains some known results. We include few open problems for further research.

On the Bohr inequality with a fixed zero coefficient
Abstract: In this paper, we introduce the study of the Bohr phenomenon for a quasi-subordination family of functions, and establish the classical Bohr's inequality for the class of quasisubordinate functions. As a consequence, we improve and obtain the exact version of the classical Bohr's inequality for bounded analytic functions and also for $K$-quasiconformal harmonic map**s by replacing the constant t… ▽ More
