Leptonic Meson Decays into Invisible ALP
Abstract: The theoretical calculation of pseudo-scalar leptonic decay widths into an invisible ALP, $M \to \ell\, ν_\ell\, a$, is reviewed. Assuming generic flavour-conserving ALP couplings to SM fermions and a generic ALP mass, $m_a$, the latest experimental results for pseudo-scalar leptonic decays are used to provide updated bounds on the ALP-fermion Lagrangian sector. Constrains on the ALP-quark couplin… ▽ More

Discriminating between SUSY and Non-SUSY Higgs Sectors through the Ratio $H \to b \bar b / H \to τ^+ τ^-$ with a 125 GeV Higgs boson
Abstract: It is still an open question whether the new scalar particle discovered at the LHC with a mass of 125 GeV is the SM Higgs boson or it belongs to models of new physics with an extended Higgs sector, as the MSSM or 2HDM. The ratio of branching fractions $R$ = BR($H \to b \bar b$)/BR($H \to τ^+ τ^-$) of Higgs boson decays is a powerful tool in order to distinguish the MSSM Higgs sector from the SM or… ▽ More

Higgs Boson masses and B-Physics Constraints in Non-Minimal Flavor Violating SUSY scenarios
Abstract: We present one-loop corrections to the Higgs boson masses in the MSSM with Non-Minimal Flavor Violation. The flavor violation is generated from the hypothesis of general flavor mixing in the squark mass matrices, and these are parameterized by a complete set of delta^XY_ij (X, Y = L,R; i; j = t, c, u or b, s, d). Single top-quark production by direct supersymmetric flavor-changing neutral-current interactions at the LHC
Abstract: Production of (electrically neutral) heavy-quark pairs, such as t{\bar c} and {\bar t}c, is extremely suppressed in the SM. Decoupling behaviour of O(m_t^4) corrections to the h^0 self-couplings
Abstract: The decoupling behaviour of the leading one-loop Yukawa-coupling contributions of O(m_t^4) to the lightest MSSM Higgs boson self-couplings, when the top-squarks are heavy as compared to the electroweak scale, are discussed. As shown analytically and numerically, the large corrections can almost completely be absorbed into the h^0-boson mass and therefore, the h^0 self-couplings remain similar to… ▽ More

Self-interactions of the lightest MSSM Higgs boson in the large pseudoscalar-mass limit
Abstract: We investigate the decoupling properties of the Higgs-sector-induced one-loop corrections in the lightest Higgs-boson self-couplings, in the framework of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM). The renormalized n-point vertex functions with external Higgs particles in the MSSM and in the SM are derived to the one-loop level and compared in the MA >> MZ limit. The computation has been d… ▽ More

Yukawa coupling quantum corrections to the self couplings of the lightest MSSM Higgs boson
Abstract: A detailed analysis of the top-quark/squark quantum corrections to the lightest CP-even Higgs boson (h^0) self-couplings is presented in the MSSM. By considering the leading one-loop Yukawa-coupling contributions of O(m_t^4), we discuss the decoupling behaviour of these corrections when the top-squarks are heavy compared to the electroweak scale. As shown analytically and numerically, the large… ▽ More

Distinguishing Higgs models in H -> b b-bar / H -> tau^+ tau^-
Abstract: We analyze the ratio of branching ratios R=BR(H->b b-bar)/BR(H->tau^+ tau^-) of Higgs boson decays as a discriminant quantity between supersymmetric and non-supersymmetric models. This ratio receives large renormalization-scheme independent radiative corrections in supersymmetric models at large \tanβ, which are absent in the Standard Model or Two-Higgs-doublet models. These corrections are inse… ▽ More

SUSY-QCD decoupling properties in H+ -> t \bar b decay
Abstract: The SUSY-QCD radiative corrections to the Γ(H+ -> t \bar b) partial decay width are analyzed within the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model at the one-loop level, {\mathcal O}(α_s), and in the decoupling limit. We present the analytical expressions of these corrections in the large SUSY masses limit and study the decoupling behaviour of these corrections in various limiting cases. We find that… ▽ More

Decoupling Properties of MSSM particles in Higgs and Top Decays
Abstract: We study the supersymmetric (SUSY) QCD radiative corrections, at the one-loop level, to $h^0$, $H^{\pm}$ and t quark decays, in the context of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM) and in the decoupling limit. The decoupling behaviour of the various MSSM sectors is analyzed in some special cases, where some or all of the SUSY mass parameters become large as compared to the electroweak… ▽ More

SUSY-QCD corrections to the MSSM $h^0 b \bar b$ vertex in the decoupling limit
Abstract: We analyze the supersymmetric (SUSY) QCD contribution to the $h^0 b \bar{b}$ coupling at one loop in the Minimal Supersymmetric Model (MSSM) in the decoupling limit. Analytic expressions in the large SUSY mass region are derived and the decoupling behavior of the corrections is examined in various limiting cases, where some or all of the SUSY mass parameters become large. The Higgs sector of the MSSM in the decoupling limit
Abstract: We study the heavy Higgs sector of the MSSM composed of the H^\pm, H^0 and A^0 particles in the so-called decoupling limit where m_{A^0} >> m_Z. By integrating out these heavy Higgs particles to one-loop, we compute the effective action for the electroweak gauge bosons and find out that, in the decoupling limit, all the heavy Higgs effects can be absorbed into redefinitions of the Standard Model… ▽ More

The SM as the Quantum Low Energy Effective Theory of the MSSM
Abstract: In the framework of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model we compute the one-loop effective action for the electroweak bosons obtained after integrating out the different sleptons, squarks, neutralinos and charginos, and present the result in terms of the physical sparticle masses. In addition we study the asymptotic behaviour of the two, three and four point Green's functions with external… ▽ More

Do heavy sfermions decouple from low energy Standard Model?
Abstract: We explore analytically how does the Standard Model emerge as the quantum low energy effective theory of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM) in the decoupling limit where the sparticles are much heavier than the electroweak scale. In this work we integrate the sfermions to one-loop and compute their contributions to the effective action for standard electroweak gauge bosons. A proof… ▽ More

Decoupling of Supersymmetric Particles in the MSSM
Abstract: A heavy supersymmetric spectrum at the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model is considered and the decoupling from the low energy electroweak scale is analyzed. A formal and partial proof of decoupling of supersymmetric particles in the limit where their masses are larger than the electroweak scale is performed by integrating out all the sparticles to one loop and by evaluating the effective act… ▽ More

Decoupling of supersymmetric particles
Abstract: The possibility of a heavy supersymmetric spectrum at the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model is considered and the decoupling from the low energy electroweak scale is analyzed in detail. The formal proof of decoupling of supersymmetric particles from low energy physics is stated in terms of the effective action for the particles of the Standard Model that results by integrating out all the sp… ▽ More
