Using the methods from topological dynamics, H. Furstenberg introduced the notions of Central sets and proved the famous Central Sets Theorem which is the simultaneous extension of the van der Waerden and Hindman Theorem. Later N. Hindman and V. Bergelson found an equivalent formulation of Central sets in the set of natural numbers in terms of the algebra of the Stone-Čech compactification of discrete semigroups. The general case was proved by H. Shi and H. Yang. Using the notions of ultrafilters, J. McLeod introduced the notions of Central sets for commutative adequate partial semigroups, however for noncommutative cases, Central sets can be defined similarly. In this article, introducing the notions of topological dynamics for partial semigroup actions, we find an equivalent dynamical characterization of central sets in partial semigroups\footnote{Recently in \cite{GTG}, authors attempted to do the same but in a different approach.}. Throughout our article, we follow the approach of N. Hindman and D. Strauss [N. Hindman, and D. Strauss: Algebra in the Stone-\v Cech compactification: theory and applications, second edition, de Gruyter, Berlin, 2012.].

We also find the complete ultrafilter characterization of the multidimensional Central Sets Theorems. Then we prove twofold common extension of Bergelson, Hindman, and William's \cite{bhw} polynomial Milliken-Taylor theorem, and the multidimensional polynomial Central Sets Theorems. We also find a sufficient condition over two distinct multidimensional polynomials for which their Milliken-Taylor image lie in the same color. This result gives a partial polynomial extension of Deuber, Hindman, Leader, and Lefmann's \cite{d} result on the separating Milliken-Taylor system.

In \cite{G}, S. Goswami proved the same but a fundamental result on the set of prime numbers $\mathbb{P}$ in $\mathbb{N}$ and proved that for some $k\in\mathbb{N}$, $k\cdot\mathbb{N}\subset\left(\mathbb{P}-\mathbb{P}\right)\cdot\left(\mathbb{P}-\mathbb{P}\right)$. To do so, Goswami mainly proved that the product of an $IP^{\star}$-set with an $IP_{r}^{\star}$-set contains $k\mathbb{N}$. This result is very important and surprising to mathematicians who are aware of combinatorially rich sets. In this article, we extend Goswami's result to large Lntegral Domain, that behave like $\mathbb{N}$ in the sense of some combinatorics. We prove that for a combinatorially rich ($CR$-set) set, $A$, for some $k\in\mathbb{N}$, $k\cdot\mathbb{N}\subset\left(A-A\right)\cdot\left(A-A\right)$. We provide a new proof that if we partition a large Integral Domain, $R$, into finitely many cells, then at least one cell is both additive and multiplicative central, and we prove the converse part, which is a new and unknown result.

The fusion mechanism of reactions involving even-even $^{112-124}$Sn, doubly magic $^{132}$Sn, $^{208}$Pb as targets, and $^{64}$Ni as the projectile is explored within the relativistic mean field (RMF) formalism. The main aim of choosing these nuclei is to explore the correlation between the nuclear incompressibility and the fusion cross-section. The nucleus-nucleus interaction potential is calculated by folding the axially deformed nuclear densities and the relativistic R3Y nucleon-nucleon (NN) potential obtained for the nonlinear sets of NL3$^*$, hybrid, and NL1, which yield different values for various characteristics of nuclear matter at saturation. The fusion barrier characteristics obtained for different RMF parameterizations are further used to calculate the cross-section within the $\ell$-summed Wong model. We found a decrease in the barrier height and consequently, an increase in the cross-section with a decrease in the incompressibility for all sets of parameters considered. The calculated cross section is satisfactorily consistent with the available experimental data for $^{64}$Ni+$^{208}$Pb system. In contrast, the nuclear potentials obtained for NL3$^*$ and the hybrid parameter sets underestimate the cross-section at below-barrier energies for $^{64}$Ni+$^{112-124,132}$Sn reactions. This discrepancy between the experimental data and the theoretical results for $^{64}$Ni+$^{112-124,132}$Sn reactions can be correlated with the soft behaviour of the Sn isotopes. The compressible nature of Sn-isotopes is inferred to lower the barrier height, which further leads to enhancement of the experimental fusion and/or capture cross-section at below-barrier energies. Thus, the NL1 parameter set with a comparatively soft equation of state (EoS) is observed to be a better choice to describe the sub-barrier nuclear fusion dynamics of reactions involving the Sn-isotopes.

The study of symmetric structures is a new trend in Ramsey theory. Recently in [7], Di Nasso initiated a systematic study of symmetrization of classical Ramsey theoretical results, and proved a symmetric version of several Ramsey theoretic results. In this paper Di Nasso asked if his method could be adapted to find new non-linear Diophantine equations that are partition regular [7,Final remarks (4)]. By analyzing additive, multiplicative, and symmetric large sets, we construct new partition regular equations that give a first affirmative answer to this question. A special case of our result shows that if $P$ is a polynomial with no constant term then the equation $x+P(y-x)=z+w+zw$, where $y\neq x$ is partition regular. Also we prove several new monochromatic patterns involving additive, multiplicative, and symmetric structures. Throughout our work, we use tools from the Algebra of the Stone-Čech Compactifications of discrete semigroups.

This article attempts to summarize the effort by the particle physics community in addressing the tedious work of determining the parameter spaces of beyond-the-standard-model (BSM) scenarios, allowed by data. These spaces, typically associated with a large number of dimensions, especially in the presence of nuisance parameters, suffer from the curse of dimensionality and thus render naive sampling of any kind -- even the computationally inexpensive ones -- ineffective. Over the years, various new sampling (from variations of Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) to dynamic nested sampling) and machine learning (ML) algorithms have been adopted by the community to alleviate this issue. If not all, we discuss potentially the most important among them and the significance of their results, in detail.

The formulation of quarkyonic matter consists of treating both quarks and nucleons as quasi-particles, where a cross-over transition occurs between the two phases. This work is based upon some of the early ideas of quark matter. It can satisfy the different observational constraints on the neutron star (NS), such as its maximum mass and the canonical radius. In addition, we put an extra component inside the NS known as Dark Matter (DM) because it is trapped due to its immense gravitational potential. In this work, we explore the impact of fermionic DM on the structure of the NS. The equation of state (EOS) is derived for the NS with the quarkyonic matter by assuming that nucleons and quarks are in equilibrium, followed by the relativistic mean-field (RMF) formalism. The recently modeled two parameterizations, such as G3 and IOPB-I, are taken to calculate the various macroscopic properties of the NS. The three unknown parameters such as the transition density ($n_t$), the QCD confinement scale ($Λ_{\rm sc}$), and the DM Fermi momentum ($k_f^{\rm DM}$) are varied to obtain the NS properties. The quarkyonic matter stiffens the EOS while DM softens it. The mutual combination provides us with good theoretical predictions for the magnitude of macroscopic properties consistent with the different observational results. Also, one can estimate the parameters of the DM admixed quarkyonic star with different statistical analyses, which can be further used to explore the other properties of the quarkyonic star.

Medical image translation is an ill-posed problem. Unlike existing paired unbounded unidirectional translation networks, in this paper, we consider unpaired medical images and provide a strictly bounded network that yields a stable bidirectional translation. We propose a patch-level concatenated cyclic conditional generative adversarial network (pCCGAN) embedded with adaptive dictionary learning. It consists of two cyclically connected CGANs of 47 layers each; where both generators (each of 32 layers) are conditioned with concatenation of alternate unpaired patches from input and target modality images (not ground truth) of the same organ. The key idea is to exploit cross-neighborhood contextual feature information that bounds the translation space and boosts generalization. The generators are further equipped with adaptive dictionaries learned from the contextual patches to reduce possible degradation. Discriminators are 15-layer deep networks that employ minimax function to validate the translated imagery. A combined loss function is formulated with adversarial, non-adversarial, forward-backward cyclic, and identity losses that further minimize the variance of the proposed learning machine. Qualitative, quantitative, and ablation analysis show superior results on real CT and MRI.

Silicon photonics is a rapidly develo** technology that promises to revolutionize the way we communicate, compute, and sense the world. However, the lack of highly scalable, native CMOS-integrated light sources is one of the main factors hampering its widespread adoption. Despite significant progress in hybrid and heterogeneous integration of III-V light sources on silicon, monolithic integration by direct epitaxial growth of III-V materials remains the pinnacle in realizing cost-effective on-chip light sources. Here, we report the first electrically driven GaAs-based multi-quantum-well laser diodes fully fabricated on 300 mm Si wafers in a CMOS pilot manufacturing line. GaAs nano-ridge waveguides with embedded p-i-n diodes, InGaAs quantum wells and InGaP passivation layers are grown with high quality at wafer scale, leveraging selective-area epitaxy with aspect-ratio trap**. After III-V facet patterning and standard CMOS contact metallization, room-temperature continuous-wave lasing is demonstrated at wavelengths around 1020 nm in more than three hundred devices across a wafer, with threshold currents as low as 5 mA, output powers beyond 1 mW, laser linewidths down to 46 MHz, and laser operation up to 55 °C. These results illustrate the potential of the III-V/Si nano-ridge engineering concept for the monolithic integration of laser diodes in a Si photonics platform, enabling future cost-sensitive high-volume applications in optical sensing, interconnects and beyond.

Over the past two decades, significant strides have been made in the study of Dark Matter (DM) admixed neutron stars and their associated properties. However, an intriguing facet regarding the effect of DM on magnetized neutron stars still remains unexplored. This study is carried out to analyze the properties of DM admixed magnetized neutron stars. The equation of state for the DM admixed neutron star is calculated using the relativistic mean-field model with the inclusion of a density-dependent magnetic field. Several macroscopic properties, such as mass, radius, particle fractions, tidal deformability, and the $f$-mode frequency, are calculated with different magnetic field strengths and DM configurations. The equation of state is softer with the presence of DM as well as for the parallel components of the magnetic field and vice-versa for the perpendicular one. Other macroscopic properties, such as mass, radius, tidal deformability, etc., are also affected by both DM and magnetic fields. The change in the magnitude of different neutron star observables is proportional to the amount of DM percentage and the strength of the magnetic field. We observe that the change is seen mainly in the core part of the star without affecting the crustal properties.

The concept of quarkyonic matter presents a promising alternative to the conventional models used to describe high-density matter and provides a more nuanced and detailed understanding of the properties of matter under extreme conditions that exist in astrophysical bodies. The aim of this study is to showcase the effectiveness of utilizing the quarkyonic model, in combination with the relativistic mean-field formalism, to parameterize the equation of state at high densities. Through this approach, we intend to investigate and gain insights into various fundamental properties of a static neutron star, such as its compositional ingredients, speed of sound, mass-radius profile, and tidal deformability. The obtained results revealed that the quarkyonic matter equation of state (EOS) is capable of producing a heavy neutron star with the mass range of $\sim$ $2.8 M_\odot$. The results of our inquiry have demonstrated that the EOS for quarkyonic matter not only yields a neutron star with a significantly high mass but also showcases a remarkable degree of coherence with the conformal limit of the speed of sound originating from deconfined QCD matter. Furthermore, we have observed that the tidal deformability of the neutron star, corresponding to the EOSs of quarkyonic matter, is in excellent agreement with the observational constraints derived from the GW170817 and GW190425 events. This finding implies that the quarkyonic model is capable of forecasting the behavior of neutron stars associated with binary merger systems. This aspect has been meticulously scrutinized in terms of merger time, gravitational wave signatures, and collapse times using numerical relativity simulations.

This study is a survey of digital library initiatives in India collecting secondary information from about fifty digital libraries from their respective websites. The findings show that in most cases the actual conception of the digital library is still in a nascent stage. Online subscriptions and links to third-party websites are also considered digital libraries. However, many digital libraries do have not any proper search interface on their respective website due to improper arrangement of metadata. In some cases, they do not have their own digitized collection and provided other collections or referred to their users to some third-party website. Moreover, there are many digital libraries that cannot be accessed outside (remote access) of the organization. Hence, regular website maintenance, remote access facility, and proper training of information professionals are required. Moreover, the so-called digital libraries in India have not developed their own standards or are not following any global standards. However, the usage statistics for government digital libraries are far better than the usage statistics of academic or public libraries. Users are perhaps more interested in government rules, laws, orders, etc. That is perhaps a positive sign of digital governance and reaching the public. There are several important observations and policy suggestions that may be helpful for students, scholars, library professionals, and the decision-makers in the government.

The effective field theory motivated relativistic mean-field (E-RMF) formalism is employed to study the equation of state (EoS) for the infinite symmetric nuclear matter at finite temperature using the recently developed forces FSUGarnet, IOPB-I, G3, and the well known NL3 force parameter. The EoS is then used to estimate the critical temperature $T_c$, pressure $P_c$ and density $ρ_c$ of the symmetric nuclear matter for the liquid-gas phase transition. As $T_c$ is not a constrained parameter in both experiments and theoretical calculations, there is a large uncertainty around its value. Although, the critical parameters are correlated among themselves. It is revealed that vector self-coupling $ζ_0$ of used forces play determining role in EoS in finite temperature limit. Kee** the incompressibility in acceptable limit i.e. 240$\pm$ 20 MeV, the lower value of $ζ_0$ gives a better result of $T_c$ when compared to the several experimental data. The critical parameters however show weak correlation with the properties at saturation density at zero temperature. The compressibility factors calculated with these parameters are in agreement with the universal value of liquid-gas systems. Stability conditions are examined along with binodal and spinodal regions. Besides this, the thermodynamic properties like specific heat and latent heat are also worked out. We have carried out detailed consistency check of our calculations using critical exponents and standard scaling laws. All the exponents are well within the theoretical mean-field results.

We present a comprehensive analysis of hot and dilute isospin-asymmetric nuclear matter employing the temperature-dependent effective-relativistic mean-field theory (E-RMF). The E-RMF is applied to study the effect of $δ$ and $ω-ρ$ meson cross-coupling on the thermal properties of asymmetric nuclear matter using two recently developed IOPB-I and G3 parameter sets. These sets are known to reproduce the nuclear matter properties in agreement with various experimental and observational constraints. We consider the nuclear matter to be homogeneous and study the equation of state (EoS) for densities, temperature and asymmetry which are relevant for astrophysical simulations such as supernovae explosion. The effect of temperature is investigated in reference to the density-dependent free symmetry energy and its higher-order derivatives using the well known parabolic approximation. The larger value of $λ_ω$ cross-coupling in G3 in addition to the $δ$ meson coupling in G3 smoothen the free symmetry energy. Thermal effects on various state variables are examined at fixed temperature and isospin asymmetry by separating their T=0 and the finite-T expressions. The thermal effects are mainly governed by effective mass with larger effective mass estimating larger thermal contribution. The effect of temperature on isothermal and isentropic incompressibility is discussed which is in harmony with various available microscopic calculations. The liquid-gas phase transition properties are examined in asymmetric matter with two conserved charges in the context of different slope parameter and comparable symmetry energy in IOPB-I and G3 set. The spinodal instability, binodal curve and critical properties are found to be influenced by the slope parameter $L_{sym}$.

This work aim to study the various thermal characteristics of nuclei in view of the saturation and critical behavior of infinite nuclear matter. The free energy of a nucleus is parametrized using the density and temperature-dependent liquid-drop model and interaction among nucleons is worked out within the effective relativistic mean-field theory (E-RMF). The effective mass (m,$^*$) and critical temperature of infinite symmetric nuclear matter ($T_c$) of a given E-RMF parameter force play a seminal role in the estimation of thermal properties. A larger (m$^*$) and $T_c$ of the E-RMF set estimate larger excitation energy, level density, and limiting temperature $(T_l)$ for a given nucleus. The limiting temperature of a nucleus also depends on the behavior of the nuclear gas surrounding the nucleus, making the equation of state (EoS) at subsaturation densities an important input. A stiff EoS in the subsaturation region estimates a higher pressure of the nuclear gas making it less stable. Since the $T_c$ plays an important part in these calculations, we perform a Pearson correlation statistical study of fifteen E-RMF parameter sets, satisfying the relevant constraint on EoS. Effective mass seems to govern the thermal characteristics of infinite as well as finite nuclear matter in the framework of E-RMF theory.

The anisotropy of pressure arises due to the various complex phenomena that happen inside the neutron star (NS). In this study, we calculate the degree of anisotropy inside the NS using the scalar pressure anisotropy model. Macroscopic properties such as mass, radius, compactness, redshift, tidal deformability, the moment of inertia, and surface curvature (SC) are computed for the anisotropic NS with the equation of states spanning from relativistic to nonrelativistic cases. The variation of SC as the functions of the above-mentioned quantities are computed by changing the degree of anisotropy. Pressure anisotropy has significant effects on the magnitude of SC. The universal relations between the canonical SC$-Λ$ and SC$-\bar{I}$ are studied. From the GW170817 tidal deformability data constraints on SC are found to be SC$_{1.4}(10^{14}) = 3.44_{-1.0}^{+0.4}, 2.85_{-1.20}^{+0.62}, \ {\rm and} \ 2.52_{-1.02}^{+0.61}$ for $λ_{\rm BL} = 0.0, 1.0$, and $2.0$ respectively.

Even though the crystallize nature of the neutron star crust plays a pivotal role in describing various fascinating astrophysical observations, its microscopic structure is not fully understood in the presence of a colossal magnetic field. In the present work, we study the crustal properties of a neutron star within an effective relativistic mean field framework in the presence of magnetic field strength $\sim 10^{17}$G. We calculate the equilibrium composition of the outer crust by minimizing the Gibbs free energy using the most recent atomic mass evaluations. The magnetic field significantly affects the equation of state (EoS) and the properties of the outer crust, such as neutron drip density, pressure, and melting temperature. For the inner crust, we use the compressible liquid drop model for the first time to study the crustal properties in a magnetic environment. The inner crust properties, such as mass and charge number distribution, isospin asymmetry, cluster density, etc., show typical quantum oscillations (De Haas-van Alphen effect) sensitive to the magnetic field's strength. The density-dependent symmetry energy influences the magnetic inner crust like the field-free case. We study the probable modifications in the pasta structures and it is observed that their mass and thickness changes by $\sim 10-15 \%$ depending upon the magnetic field strength. The fundamental torsional oscillation mode frequency is investigated for the magnetized crust in the context of quasiperiodic oscillations (QPO) in soft gamma repeaters. The magnetic field strengths considered in this work influences only the EoS of outer and shallow regions of the inner crust, which results in no significant change in global neutron star properties. However, the outer crust mass and its moment of inertia increase considerably with increase in magnetic field strength.

The relativistic G3 and IOPB-I and non-relativistic SLy4 and SkMP parameter sets are used for the investigations. Surface properties such as symmetry energy, neutron pressure and the curvature coefficient of symmetry energy are discussed within the coherent density fluctuation model (CDFM) using the Skyrme and the Brückner energy density functionals. The volume and surface contributions of symmetry energy are evaluated using Danielewicz's liquid drop approximation within the CDFM. The total nuclear reaction and elastic differential cross-sections are also obtained for both SHF and E-RMF within the Glauber model. The peaks in the symmetry energy at N = 182 for SHF and N=184 for E-RMF are seen, which are absent in the Brückner functional. The shifting of peak in the symmetry energy with Brückner functional can be correlated to the Coester-band problem. The enhanced total reaction cross-section for relativistic density of $^{304}120$ suggests the extra stability of this nucleus. This further confirms the shell/sub-shell closure of N = 184 in E-RMF force. The differential cross-section shows its force independent nature and significant increase with the scattering angle.

The effects of strong magnetic fields on the deconfinement phase transition expected to take place in the interior of massive neutron stars are studied in detail for the first time. For hadronic matter, the very general density-dependent relativistic mean-field (DD-RMF) model is employed, while the simple, but effective vector-enhanced bag model (vBag) model is used to study quark matter. Magnetic-field effects are incorporated into the matter equation of state and in the general-relativity solutions, which also satisfy Maxwell's equations. We find that for large values of magnetic dipole moment, the maximum mass, canonical mass radius, and dimensionless tidal deformability obtained for stars using spherically symmetric Tolman-Oppenheimer-Volkoff (TOV) equations and axisymmetric solutions attained through the LORENE library differ considerably. The deviations depend on the stiffness of the equation of state and on the star mass being analyzed. This points to the fact that, unlike what was assumed previously in the literature, magnetic field thresholds for the approximation of isotropic stars and the acceptable use of TOV equations depend on the matter composition and interactions.

Also, we have tested the sensitivities of these observables towards physics beyond the standard model (BSM).For the $B\toρ\ell \ell$ decays, we have defined tagged and untagged observables and predicted them in the SM and BSM. In the context of BSM, we have found some compelling information. The respective predictions in a few benchmark scenarios are given, which can be tested in the experiments at the LHCb and the Belle.

In-medium effects are introduced in the microscopic description of the effective nucleon-nucleon (NN) interaction potential entitled DDR3Y in terms of the density-dependent nucleon-meson couplings within the Relativistic-Hartree-Bogoliubov (RHB) approach. The nuclear densities of the interacting target and projectile nuclei and NN potentials are obtained for non-linear NL3$^*$ and TM1 parameter sets within the relativistic mean-field approach and density-dependent DDME1 and DDME2 parameter sets within the Relativistic-Hartree-Bogoliubov (RHB) formalism. The DDR3Y NN potential and the densities are used to obtain the nuclear potential by adopting the double folding approach. This nuclear potential is further used to probe the fusion dynamics within the $\ell-$summed Wong model for a few {\it even-even} systems leading to the formation of light, heavy and superheavy nuclei. The calculations are also performed for the relativistic R3Y, density-dependent and independent M3Y interaction potentials for the comparison. We observed that the DDR3Y NN potential gives a better overlap with the experimental data as compared to non-relativistic M3Y and DDM3Y NN potentials. From the comparison of R3Y and DDR3Y interactions, it is manifested that the inclusion of in-medium effects in terms of density-dependent nucleon-meson couplings raises the fusion barrier and consequently decreases the fusion and/or capture cross-section. Moreover, the nuclear densities, as well as the relativistic R3Y NN potential obtained for the NL3$^*$ parameter set, are observed to give a comparatively better fit to the experimental data.

The compressible liquid drop model is used to incorporate the finite size effects, considering the possibility of nonspherical structures in the inner crust. The unified equation of states are constructed for several E-RMF parameters to study various properties such as pasta mass and thickness in the neutron star's crust. The majority of the pasta properties are sensitive to the symmetry energy in the subsaturation density region. Using the results from Monte Carlo simulations, we estimate the shear modulus of the crust in the context of quasiperiodic oscillations from soft gamma-ray repeaters and calculate the frequency of fundamental torsional oscillation mode in the inner crust. Global properties of the neutron star such as mass-radius profile, the moment of inertia, crustal mass, crustal thickness, and fractional crustal moment of inertia are worked out. The results are consistent with various observational and theoretical constraints.

Motivated by the various theoretical studies regarding the efficient capturing of dark matter by neutron stars, we explore the possible indirect effects of captured dark matter on the cooling mechanism of a neutron star. The equation of states for different configurations of dark matter admixed star at finite temperature is obtained using the relativistic mean-field formalism with the IOPB-I parameter set. We show that the variation in the dark matter momentum vastly modifies the neutrino emissivity through specific neutrino generating processes of the star. The specific heat and the thermal conductivity of a dark matter admixed star have also been investigated to explore the propagation of cooling waves in the interior of the star. The dependence of theoretical surface temperature cooling curves on the equation of state and chemical composition of the stellar matter has also been discussed along with the observational data of thermal radiation from various sources. We observed that the dark matter admixed canonical stars with $k_{f}^{\rm DM} > 0.04$ comply with the fast cooling scenario. Further, the metric for internal thermal relaxation epoch has also been calculated with different dark matter momentum and we deduced that increment of dark matter segment amplify the cooling and internal relaxation rates of the star.

The neutron star properties are generally determined by the equation of state of $β$-equilibrated dense matter. In this work, we consider the interaction of fermionic dark matter (DM) particles with the nucleons via Higgs exchange and investigate its effect on the neutron star properties with the relativistic mean-field model equation of state coupled with DM. We deduce that DM significantly affects the neutron star properties, such as considerably reduce the maximum mass of the star, which depends on the percentage of the DM considered inside the neutron star. The tidal Love numbers both for electric and magnetic cases and surficial Love numbers are also studied for DM admixed NS. It is observed that the magnitude of tidal and surficial Love numbers increase with more DM percentage. Further, we point out that post-Newtonian tidal corrections to gravitational waves decreased by increasing DM percentage. Also, the DM effect on the GW signal is significant during the late inspiral and merger stages of binary evolution for GW frequencies >500 Hz.

The records were collected form the year 1991 to 2021 and analysed to observed the trends of literature growth, core journals, institutes from where most of the literature is being published, prominent keywords and so on. The results show that there is a significant growth of publications since the year 2000. The trends shows that the research in these areas is mostly emerging from developed countries. [Background] In our earlier work {\bf [Phys. Rev. C 104, 055804 (2021)]}, we studied the surface properties of a neutron star, assuming it as a huge finite nucleus containing protons, neutrons, electrons, and muons. For the first time, we reported these results of a neutron star for a few representative masses. In the present paper, we give a detailed study of these quantities to draw definite conclusions. [Method]To carry forward our earlier idea, the energy density functional of the momentum space of neutron star matter is converted to the coordinate space in a local density approximation. This functional is again used to derive the neutron star surface properties within the coherent density fluctuation model using the weight function obtained from the density profile of the neutron star using the recently developed G3 and widely used NL3 and IU-FSU parameter sets in the context of relativistic mean-field formalism. [Results] The systematic surface properties of the neutron star, such as incompressibility, symmetry energy, slope parameter, and curvature coefficient, is calculated. The volume and surface components of the total symmetry energy are decomposed with the help of the $κ$ factor obtained from the volume to surface ratio of the symmetry energies in the liquid drop limit of Danielewicz. The magnitude of the computed surface quantities increases with the neutron star's mass. [Conclusion] The incompressibility $K^{\rm star}$, symmetry energy $S^{\rm star}$, slope parameter $L_{\rm sym}^{\rm star}$ and curvature coefficient $K_{\rm sym}^{\rm star}$ of the neutron stars with different mass are analyzed and found to be model dependent. NL3 is the stiffest equation of state endue us with the higher magnitude of surface quantities as compared to the G3 and IU-FSU forces.

The newly derived relativistic energy density functional [\textcolor{blue}{ Phys. Rev. C \textbf{103}, 024305 (2021)}], which stems from the effective field theory motivated relativistic mean-field (E-RMF) is employed to establish the appearance of peak/kink in the symmetry energy over the isotopic chain of Pb-nuclei. The coherent density fluctuation model parametrization procedure for finite nuclei is adopted here to obtain the relativistic energy density functional at local density. The relativistic energy density functional from E-RMFT takes precedence over the Brückner energy density functional as it accurately predicts the empirical saturation density and binding energy per nucleon $E/A$, so-called 'Coester Band Problem'. Interestingly, using the relativistic energy density functional, it is possible to predict the peak at $N=126$ for recently developed G3 and widely used NL3 parameter sets, which is not observed for Brückener's functional in-spite of using the E-RMF density. From the present analysis, the newly fitted energy density functional is found to be minutely sensitive to the choice of the parameter sets employed.

We use the effective relativistic mean-field (E-RMF) model to study the crustal properties of the neutron star. The unified equations of state (EoS) are constructed using recently developed E-RMF parameter sets, such as FSUGarnet, IOPB-I, and G3. The outer crust composition is determined using the atomic mass evaluation 2020 data [Chinese Physics C {\bf 45}, 030002 (2021)] along with the available Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov mass models [Phys. Rev. C {\bf 88}, 024308 (2013)] for neutron-rich nuclei. The structure of the inner crust is estimated by performing the compressible liquid drop model calculations using the same E-RMF functional as that for the uniform nuclear matter in the liquid core. Various neutron star properties such as mass-radius ($M-R$) relation, the moment of inertia ($I$), the fractional crustal moment of inertia ($I_{crust}/I$), mass ($M_{crust})$ and thickness ($l_{crust}$) of the crust are calculated with three unified EoSs. The crustal properties are found to be sensitive to the density-dependent symmetry energy and slope parameter advocating the importance of the unified treatment of neutron star EoS. The three unified EoSs, IOPB-I-U, FSUGarnet-U, and G3-U, reproduced the observational data obtained with different pulsars, NICER, and glitch activity and are found suitable for further description of the structure of the neutron star.

In this paper, we work with 16 different single scalar particle extensions of the Standard Model. We present the sets of dimension-6 effective operators and the associated Wilson coefficients as functions of model parameters after integrating out the heavy scalars up to 1-loop, including the heavy-light mixing, for each such scenario. Using the correspondence between the effective operators and the observables at electroweak scale, and employing Bayesian statistics, we compute the allowed ranges of new physics parameters that are further translated and depicted in 2-dimensional Wilson coefficient space in the light of the latest CMS and ATLAS data up to $137 \text{ fb}^{-1}$ and $139\text{ fb}^{-1}$, respectively. We also adjudge the status of those new physics extensions that offer similar sets of relevant effective operators. In addition, we provide a model-independent fit of $23$ Standard Model effective field theory Wilson coefficients using electroweak precision observables, single and di-Higgs data as well as kinematic distributions of di-boson production.

We constrain the parameters of a representative new physics model with possible dark matter (DM) signature from a global CKM fit analysis. The model has neutral quark current interactions mediated by a scalar, impacting the semileptonic and purely leptonic meson decays at one-loop. We take this opportunity to update the fit results for the Wolfenstein parameters and the CKM elements with and without a contribution from the new model using several other updated inputs. Alongside, we have analyzed and included in the CKM fit the $B\to D^*\ellν_{\ell}$ decay. The newly available inputs on the relevant form factors from lattice are included, and the possibility of new physics effects in $B\to D^*\ellν_{\ell}$ is considered. We obtain tight constraints on the relevant new physics parameters. We have studied the possible implications of this constraint on DM phenomenology. Apart from DM, the bounds are also applicable in other relevant phenomenological studies.

We find the correlation between $J-L$, $K_τ-J$ and $K_τ-L$ with coefficients 0.85, 0.81 and 0.76 respectively. The neutron star properties such as mass and radius are calculated with 50 unified equation of states. The results are consistent with recently observed pulsars and NICER data except few exceptions. From the radii constraints, we find that the new NICER data allows a narrow radius range contrary to a large range of PREX-2 and the old NICER data leaving us an inconclusive determination of the neutron star radius.

The relativistic mean-field models are used to calculate the mass-radius profile and tidal deformability of the compact object, considering it as a massive neutron star with the presence of dark matter particles inside it. With the increase of dark matter percentage, the maximum mass, radius, and tidal deformability of the neutron star decreases. We observe that the predicted properties are well consistent with GW190814 observational data, suggesting the possibility of a dark matter admixed neutron star if the underlying nuclear equation of state is sufficiently stiff.

We investigate the $f$-mode oscillation of the dark matter admixed hyperon star within the relativistic Cowling approximation. The macroscopic properties are calculated with the relativistic mean-field equation of states by assuming that the dark matter particles are inside the star. The $f$-mode oscillation frequencies (only for $l=2$) are calculated with four different neutron star equation of states. We also check the effects of hyperons/dark matter and hyperons with dark matter equation of states on the $f$-mode oscillations varying with different astrophysical quantities such as mass ($M$), radius ($R$), compactness ($M/R$), surface red-shift ($Z_s$), average density ($\barρ$), dimensionless tidal deformability ($Λ$) of the neutron star. Significant changes have been seen in the $f$-mode frequencies with and without hyperons/dark matter or hyperons+dark matter. Substantial correlations are observed between canonical frequencies and $Λ$ ($f_{1.4}-Λ_{1.4}$) and maximum frequencies and canonical $Λ$ ( $f_{max}-Λ_{1.4}$).

This article maps Library and Information Science (LIS) research in Indian universities. As the two prominent citation databases, Web of Science and Scopus have very limited coverage of Indian LIS journals, the publications generated by the library and science departments of about 114 selected Indian universities and the two national institutions of importance in LIS research were extracted from Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts (LISTA). The relevant publication records were analyzed using scientometrics and Social Network Analysis (SNA) tools. The study traces the growth of publications, prominent keywords, leading journals where the articles are published and the institutional collaboration patterns of Indian university publications. The results show that there is a growth in scholarly publications from Indian universities in LIS. However, the numbers of publications are limited to only a few universities and national institutes of importance. The maximum LIS research outputs are published in Indian journals. Bibliometrics related investigations are the most important research areas. Located in major cities of India, the productive institutes show healthy collaboration. The study concludes with some observations which may be useful for formulating policies in LIS research in India.

The Standard Model (SM) predicts that $ΔA_{\rm CP}$, the difference between the direct CP asymmetries for the modes $B^+\to π^0 K^+$ and $B^0\to π^- K^+$ that are related by weak isospin, should be close to zero. There has been a recent claim by the LHCb Collaboration that the measured value of $ΔA_{\rm CP}$ shows an uncomfortable tension with the SM prediction, almost at the $8σ$ level. Motivated by this claim, we critically re-examine the data on all the $B\to πK$ modes, including the CP asymmetries and CP-averaged branching fractions. From a combined Bayesian analysis with the topological amplitudes and their phases as the free parameters, we find that the best-fit region has a large overlap with the parameter space favoured in the SM, albeit with some enhancement for the electroweak penguin and the colour-suppressed tree amplitudes, consistent with the findings of earlier studies. We find that in this SM-like region, $ΔA_{\rm CP}$ is more than 5$σ$ away from zero and the tension with the global average, as well as the LHCb result, is within $2σ$. Thus we conclude that there is not yet enough motivation to go beyond the SM.

We have systematically studied the surface properties, such as symmetric energy, neutron pressure, and symmetry energy curvature coefficient for Ne, Na, Mg, Al, and Si nuclei from the proton to neutron drip-lines. The Coherent Density Fluctuation Model (CDFM) is used to estimate these quantities taking the relativistic mean-field densities as inputs. The Brückner energy density functional is taken for the nuclear matter binding energy and local density approximation is applied for its conversion to coordinate space. The symmetry energy again decomposed to the volume and surface components within the liquid drop model formalism to the volume and surface parts separately. Before calculating the surface properties of finite nuclei, the calculated bulk properties are compared with the experimental data, whenever available. The NL3* parameter set with the BCS pairing approach in an axially deformed frame-work is used to take care of the pairing correlation when needed. The deformed density is converted to its spherical equivalent with a two Gaussian fitting, which is used as an input for the calculation of weight function in the CDFM approximation. With the help of the symmetric energy for the recently isotopes $^{29}$F, $^{28}$Ne, $^{29,30}$Na and $^{31,35,36}$Mg are considered to be within the {\it island of inversion} emphasized {\bf [Phys. Lett. B 772, 529 (2017)]}. Although we get large symmetric energies corresponding to a few neutron numbers for this isotopic chain as expected, an irregular trend appears for all these considered nuclei. The possible reason behind this abnormal behavior of symmetry energy for these lighter mass nuclei is also included in the discussion, which gives a direction for future analysis.

Based on the current measurement of the neutron distribution radius ($R_n$) of $^{208}$Pb through the PREX-2 data, we re-visited the recently developed G3 and IOPB-I force parameter by fine-tuning some of the specific couplings within the relativistic mean-field model. The $ω-ρ-$mesons coupling $Λ_ω$ and the $ρ-$meson coupling $g_ρ$ are refitted to reproduce the experimental neutron radius of $^{208}$Pb without compromising the bulk properties of finite nuclei and infinite nuclear matter observables. The modified parameter sets are applied to calculate the gross properties of finite nuclei for a few double closed-shell nuclei and further used to obtain the various infinite nuclear matter observables at saturation. In addition to these, the force parameters are adopted to calculate the properties of high isospin asymmetry dense system such as neutron star matter and tested for the validation for the constraint from GW170817 binary neutron star merger events. The tuned forces are predicting relatively good results for finite and infinite nuclear matter systems and the current limitation on neutron radius from PREX-2. A systematic analysis using these two refitted parameter sets over the nuclear chat will be communicated shortly.

The ground state bulk properties such as binding energy, root-mean-square radius, pairing energy, nuclear density distributions, and single-particle energies are calculated for the isotopic chain of Ca, Sn, Pb, and Z = 120 nuclei. The relativistic mean-field with recently developed G3, IOPB-1, and Relativistic-Hartree-Bogoliubov with density-dependent DD-ME1 and DD-ME2 parameter sets are used in the present analysis. The respective shifts over the isotopic chain for the structural observables and surface property like symmetry energy are also estimated using a three-point method, which is crucial for the systematic analysis of the shell/sub-shell closure. The calculated results are compared with the available experimental data for various bulk properties, wherever available. A multiple isotopic shifts leads to the shell/sub-shell closure at N = (20 \& 28), (50 \& 82), and 126 for Ca, Sn, and Pb isotopes, respectively, are observed. The analysis also supports the neutron magic at N = 40 and 184 for highly neutron-rich $^{60}$Ca, and $^{304}$120, predicted to be the next double magic beyond $^{208}$Pb, respectively. Observing the occupancy number, we notice the higher neutron orbitals are mostly occupied before the lower one, which causes the kinks at neutron magic with an amalgam in the isotopic chain trend above nuclei. We also notice the correlation between the occupation probabilities and the magicity of a nucleus and vice-versa.

We trace a systematic and consistent method to precisely numerate the magnitude range for various structural and isospin compositional properties of the neutron star. Incompressibility, symmetry energy, slope parameter and curvature of a neutron star are investigated using the relativistic energy density functional within the framework of coherent density fluctuation model. The analytical expression for the energy density functional of the neutron star matter is motivated from the Br$\ddot{u}$ckner functional and acquired by the polynomial fitting of the saturation curves for three different relativistic mean-field parameter sets (NL3, G3 and IU-FSU). The modified functional is folded with the neutron star's density-dependent weight function to calculate the numerical values for incompressibility and symmetry energy using the coherent density fluctuation model. NL3 parameter set, being the stiffest equation of state, endue us with a higher magnitude of all the properties compared to the other two parameter sets.

We revisit the studies of the isotopic shift in the charge radii of {\it even-even} isotopes of Sn and Pb nuclei at $N$ = 82, and 126, respectively, within the relativistic mean-field and Relativistic-Hartree-Bogoliubov approach. The shell model is also used to estimate isotopic shift in these nuclei, for the first time, to the best of our knowledge. The ground state single-particle energies ($spe$) are calculated for non-linear NL3 \& NL3$^*$ and density-dependent DD-ME2 parameter sets compared with the experimental data, wherever available. We establish a correlation between the filling of single-particle levels and the isotopic shift in occupation probabilities. The obtained $spe$ from the relativistic mean-field and Relativistic-Hartree-Bogoliubov approaches are in line with those used in the shell model and experimental data for both the Sn and Pb isotopic chains. The shell model calculated isotopic shift agrees with relativistic mean-field and Relativistic-Hartree-Bogoliubov approaches that explain the experimental data quite well.
