Among young adults, suicide is India's leading cause of death, accounting for an alarming national suicide rate of around 16%. In recent years, machine learning algorithms have emerged to predict suicidal behavior using various behavioral traits. But to date, the efficacy of machine learning algorithms in predicting suicidal behavior in the Indian context has not been explored in literature. In this study, different machine learning algorithms and ensembles were developed to predict suicide behavior based on childhood trauma, different mental health parameters, and other behavioral factors. The dataset was acquired from 391 individuals from a wellness center in India. Information regarding their childhood trauma, psychological wellness, and other mental health issues was acquired through standardized questionnaires. Results revealed that cascade ensemble learning methods using a support vector machine, decision trees, and random forest were able to classify suicidal behavior with an accuracy of 95.04% using data from childhood trauma and mental health questionnaires. The study highlights the potential of using these machine learning ensembles to identify individuals with suicidal tendencies so that targeted interinterventions could be provided efficiently.

In light of the LHCb observations about the $B_s \to D_s^{(*)}\ell ν_\ell$ semileptonic decays, we study these channels within the Standard Model framework of covariant confined quark model. The necessary transition form factors are computed in the entire dynamical range of momentum transfer squared with built-in infrared confinement. Our computed ratios of the decay widths from tau mode to muon mode for $D_s$ and $D_s^*$ mesons are found to be $R(D_s) = 0.271 \pm 0.069$ and $R(D_s^*) = 0.240 \pm 0.038$. We further determine the ratio of the decay width from $D_s$ and $D_s^*$ channel for muon mode $Γ(B_s \to D_s μ^+ ν_μ)/Γ(B_s \to D_s^* μ^+ ν_μ) = 0.451 \pm 0.093$. Our results are in excellent agreement with the data from the latest LHCb experiments as well as lattice quantum chromodynamics simulations. We also compare the shape of differential decay distribution for $B_s \to D_s^* μ^+ ν_μ$ with the LHCb data and our results are in very good agreement throughout all the individual bins. Some other physical observables such as forward-backward asymmetry and longitudinal polarizations of leptons in the final state are also computed.

In this article, we investigate various physical implications of quantum circuit complexity using squeezed state formalism of Primordial Gravitational Waves (PGW). Recently quantum information theoretic concepts, such as entanglement entropy, and complexity are playing a pivotal role to understand the dynamics of quantum system even in the diverse fields such as, high energy physics and cosmology. This paper is devoted in studying quantum circuit complexity of PGW for various cosmological models, such as de Sitter, inflation, radiation, reheating, matter, bouncing, cyclic and black hole gas model etc. We compute complexity measure using both Covariance and Nielsen's wave function method for three different choices of quantum initial vacua: Motta-Allen, $α$ and Bunch-Davies. Besides computing circuit complexity, we have also computed Von-Neumann entanglement entropy. By making the comparison of complexity with entanglement entropy, we are able to probe various features regarding the dynamics of evolution for different cosmological models. Because entanglement entropy is independent of the squeezing angle, we are able to understand more details of the system using Nielsen's measure of complexity which is dependent on both squeezing parameter and angle. This implies that quantum complexity could indeed be a useful probe to study quantum features in cosmological scale. Quantum complexity is also becoming a powerful technique to understand the chaotic behaviour and random fluctuations of quantum fields. Using the growth of complexity, we are able to compute quantum Lyapunov exponent for various cosmological models and comment on it's chaotic nature.

The Dual-Frequency synthetic aperture radar (DFSAR) system manifested on the Chandrayaan-2 spacecraft represents a significant step forward in radar exploration of solid solar system objects. It combines SAR at two wavelengths (L- and S-bands) and multiple resolutions with several polarimetric modes in one lightweight ($\sim$ 20 kg) package. The resulting data from DFSAR support calculation of the 2$\times$2 complex scattering matrix for each resolution cell, which enables lunar near surface characterization in terms of radar polarization properties at different wavelengths and incidence angles. In this paper, we report on the calibration and preliminary performance characterization of DFSAR data based on the analysis of a sample set of crater regions on the Moon. Our calibration analysis provided a means to compare on-orbit performance with pre-launch measurements and the results matched with the pre-launch expected values. Our initial results show that craters in both permanently shadowed regions (PSRs) and non-PSRs that are classified as Circular Polarization Ratio (CPR)-anomalous in previous S-band radar analyses appear anomalous at L-band also. We also observe that material evolution and physical properties at their interior and proximal ejecta are decoupled. For Byrgius C crater region, we compare our analysis of dual-frequency radar data with the predicted behaviours of theoretical scattering models. If crater age estimates are available, comparison of their radar polarization properties at multiple wavelengths similar to that of the three unnamed south polar crater regions shown in this study may provide new insights into how the rockiness of craters evolves with time.

Calculated masses are found to be consistent with other theoretical studies and experimental data. The Regge trajectories of the calculated mass spectra are also constructed. The values of the wave-functions are extracted and employed to calculate the electromagnetic transition widths and $γγ$, $e^+e^-$, light hadron and $γγγ$ decay widths of several states at various leading orders, within the non-relativistic QCD formalism. Some of the experimentally reported states of bottomonium family like $Υ$(10860), $Υ$(11020) and X(10610) are identified as mixed $S-D$ wave and $P$-wave states.

We present new connections among anomalous diffusion (AD), normal diffusion (ND) and the Central Limit Theorem. This is done by defining a point transformation to a new position variable, which we postulate to be Cartesian, motivated by considerations from super-symmetric quantum mechanics. Canonically quantizing in the new position and momentum variables according to Dirac gives rise to generalized negative semi-definite and self-adjoint Laplacian operators. These lead to new generalized Fourier transformations and associated probability distributions, which are form invariant under the corresponding transform. The new Laplacians also lead us to generalized diffusion equations, which imply a connection to the CLT. We show that the derived diffusion equations capture all of the Fractal and Non-Fractal Diffusion equations of O'Shaughnessy and Procaccia. However, we also obtain new equations that cannot (so far as we are able to tell) be expressed as examples of the O'Shaughnessy and Procaccia equations. These equations also possess asymptotics that are related to a CLT but with bi-modal distributions as limits. The results show, in part, that experimentally measuring the diffusion scaling law can determine the point transformation (for monomial point transformations). We also show that AD in the original, physical position is actually ND when viewed in terms of displacements in an appropriately transformed position variable. Finally, we show that there is a new, anomalous diffusion possible for bi-modal probability distributions that also display attractor behavior which is the consequence of an underlying CLT.

The development of supersymmetric (SUSY) quantum mechanics has shown that some of the insights based on the algebraic properties of ladder operators related to the quantum mechanical harmonic oscillator carry over to the study of more general systems. At this level of generality, pairs of eigenfunctions of so-called partner Hamiltonians are transformed into each other, but the entire spectrum of any one of them cannot be deduced from this intertwining relationship in general -- except in special cases. In this paper, we present a more general structure that provides all eigenvalues for a class of Hamiltonians that do not factor into a pair of operators satisfying canonical commutation relations. Instead of a pair of partner Hamiltonians, we consider two pairs that differ by an overall shift in their spectrum. This is called coupled supersymmetry. In that case, we also develop coherent states and present some uncertainty principles which generalize the Heisenberg uncertainty principle. Coupled SUSY is explicitly realized by an infinite family of differential operators which admit orthonormal bases of eigenfunctions of generalized harmonic oscillators.

The masses of charmonium s and p-states, pseudoscalar and vector decay constants, leptonic, hadronic as well as radiative decay widths for charmonia have been computed in the framework of extended harmonic confinement model without any additional parameters. The outcome in comparison with other contemporary theoretical and experimental results is presented.

Abstract:
Decay rates of $c\bar c$ and $b\bar b$ mesons have been studied within the NRQCD formalism. The basic parameters of the formalism have been obtained from different potential schemes studied for the quarkonia spectra. The present results are compared with other potential model results with and without correction terms proposed through hard gluon processes involved in the decay.

Abstract:
Multiquark systems such as tetraquarks, pentaquarks and hexaquarks states are studied as di-hadronic molecules in a nonrelativistic model. The masses of several di-hadronic states using a molecular interaction provided by asymptotic expression of the confined gluon exchange potential are computed. The exotic states such as f$_0$ (0.982), f$_2$ (1.565), f$_2$ (1.950), X(3.87), D$_{sJ}$ (2.317, 2.…

Abstract:
Di-hadronic molecules such as di-meson, meson-baryon and di-baryon states are studied in the relativistic confinement model. We have computed the binding energy of the di-hadronic systems like $K-N$, $Π-N$, $ρ-N$ etc., as penta-quark states, 2$π$, $ρ-ρ$, $K-K^*$, $K^*-K^*$, $D-D^*$ etc. as tetra-quark states and $N-N$, $N-Δ$, $Δ-Δ$ etc. as di-baryonic states using a molecular interaction provide…

We find the lowest penta-quark state lies in the energy range of 1.180 - 2.247 GeV as predicted by other theoretical models. The exotic states such as $f0 (0.982)$, $h1 (1.170)$, $f0 (1.70)$, $f2 (1.565)$, $f2 (1.95)$, $ψ(4.040)$ etc. are identified as the di-mesonic hadron molecules. The low-lying di-baryon molecular states found to be in the range of 1.990-2.907 GeV with their binding energies lying between 112-120 MeV.
