We present dsigma_J/psi/dy for the two rapidity regions under study and, for the forward-y range, d^2sigma_J/psi/dydp_t in the transverse momentum domain 0<p_t<8 GeV/c. The results are compared with previously published results at sqrt(s)=7 TeV and with theoretical calculations.

The radiative corrections to the tree-level masses of the scalar Higgs bosons are calculated by including the contributions from the loops of top quark, vector-like quarks, and their scalar superpartners, for a reasonable parameter region. We find that the mass of the lightest scalar Higgs boson at the one-loop level should be larger than 85 GeV, if we take into account the negative experimental result for the Higgs search at LEP2. As the radiative corrections are calculated in some detail, we also find that the mass of the lightest scalar Higgs boson at the one-loop level is bounded from above at 280 GeV, This upper bound is increased from a previous result. It may provide a wider possibility for the future collider experiments to discover the lightest scalar Higgs boson of this model.

If the MSSM is enlarged to accommodate vector-like quarks and their superpartners, we find that the strongly first-order EWPT is possible without requiring light scalar top quark at the one-loop level, in the limit where the lightest scalar Higgs boson of the MSSM behaves like the Higgs boson of the standard model and the other Higgs bosons are all as heavy as the SUSY breaking scale. The strength of the first-order EWPT is found to be dependent on the mass of the lightest neutral Higgs boson and the mixing effects of the vector-like scalar quarks.

The contributions from the top and scalar top quark loops are included in the radiative corrections to the one-loop mass of the lightest scalar Higgs boson, in the effective potential approximation. The effect of the Higgs self couplings may be observed in the production of the lightest scalar Higgs bosons in $e^+e^-$ collisions at the International Linear Collider (ILC) via double Higgs-strahlung process. The Dine-Seiberg-Thomas model (DSTM) is the simplest version of the new physics beyond the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM), in the sense that its Higgs sector has just two dimension-five operators, which are obtained from the power series of the energy scale for the new physics in the effective action analysis. We study the possibility of spontaneous CP violation in the Higgs sector of the DSTM, which consists of two Higgs doublets. We find that the CP violation may be triggered spontaneously by a complex phase, obtained as the relative phase between the vacuum expectation values of the two Higgs doublets. At the tree level, for a reasonably established parameter region, the masses of the three neutral Higgs bosons and their corresponding coupling coefficients to a pair of $Z$ bosons in the DSTM are calculated such that the results are inconsistent with the experimental constraint by the LEP data. Thus, the LEP2 data exclude the possibility of spontaneous CP violation in the DSTM at the tree level. On the other hand, we find that, for a wide area in the parameter region, the CP symmetry may be broken spontaneously in the Higgs sector of the DSTM at the one-loop level, where top quark and scalar top quark loops are taken into account. The upper bound on the radiatively corrected mass of the lightest neutral Higgs boson of the DSTM is about 87 GeV, in the spontaneous CP violation scenario. We confirm that the LEP data does not exclude this numerical result.

At the tree level, this triplet-extended supersymmetric standard model (TESSM) cannot have any reasonable parameter spaces for the spontaneous CP violation, because the experimental constraints on the coupling coefficient of the neutral Higgs boson to a pair of $Z$ bosons exclude them. By contrast, at the one-loop level, we find that there are experimentally allowed parameter regions, where the spontaneous CP violation may take place. The mass of the lightest neutral Higgs boson in the TESSM in this case may be as large as about 100 GeV, by considering the one-loop contribution due to the top quark and squark loops.

Assuming that the squark masses are not degenerate, the radiative corrections due to the stop and sbottom quarks give rise to CP phases, which trigger the CP violation explicitly in the Higgs sector of the MNMSSM. The masses, the branching ratios for dominant decay channels, and the total decay widths of the five neutral Higgs bosons in the MNMSSM are calculated in the presence of the explicit CP violation. The dependence of these quantities on the CP phases is quite recognizable, for given parameter values.

We study the scalar Higgs sector of the next-to-minimal supersymmetric standard model with an extra U(1), which has two Higgs doublets and a Higgs singlet, in the light leptophobic $Z'$ scenario where the extra neutral gauge boson $Z'$ does not couple to charged leptons. In this model, we find that the sum of the squared coupling coefficients of the three neutral scalar Higgs bosons to $ZZ$, normalized by the corresponding SM coupling coefficient is noticeably smaller than unity, due to the effect of the extra U(1), for a reasonable parameter space of the model, whereas it is unity in the next-to-minimal supersymmetric standard model. Thus, these two models may be distinguished if the coupling coefficients of neutral scalar Higgs bosons to $ZZ$ are measured at the future International Linear Collider by producing them via the Higgs-strahlung, $ZZ$ fusion, and $WW$ fusion processes.

In particular, we investigate the dependence of these processes on the CP phase arising from the U(1) factor of the gaugino mass in the neutralino mass matrix. The mass of stop quark need not be smaller than the top quark mass to ensure the first-order electroweak phase transition be strong. The effect of the CP violating phase upon the strength of the phase transition is discovered. The strength of the phase transition is reduced when the size of the CP violation is increased. The lighter stop quark need not always to have a small mass in order to ensure the strongly first-order EWPT. In the MNMSSM with explicit CP violation, it is found that the strength of the first-order EWPT depends on several factors, such as the lightest neutral Higgs boson mass and the nontrivial CP phase arising from stop quark masses. In that parameter region, the mass of the lighter scalar Higgs boson is calculated to be above the experimental lower bound, and the scalar quarks of the third and the fourth generations are heavier than the corresponding quarks.

The tree-level Lagrangian in this model is assumed to conserve the CP symmetry. We find that CP violation is viable in this model at the one-loop level, in an explicit way, if the radiative corrections from the third generation of quarks and squarks are taken into account. In the presence of explicit CP violation, at the one-loop level, the upper bound on the mass of the lightest neutral Higgs boson and the productions of the neutral Higgs bosons via the Higgsstrahlung process in high-energy $e^+e^-$ collisions are calculated. We find that the upper bound on the mass of the lightest neutral Higgs boson increases as the number of Higgs singlets increases in a regulated manner. The production cross sections of the neutral Higgs bosons also show a reasonable increasing behavior with respect to the number of Higgs singlets.

We investigate the neutral Higgs sector in the next-to-minimal supersymmetric standard model (NMSSM) with explicit CP violation at the one-loop level by using the effective potential method. In general, explicit CP violation is possible at the tree-level in the Higgs potential of the NMSSM, which may possess a complex phase. The tree-level Higgs potential can be made CP conserving by assuming that all the relevant parameters are real. However, the CP-conserving Higgs potential at the tree level may still develop complex phases at the one-loop level through radiative corrections. These complex phases exhibit explicit CP violation through the mixings between the scalar and pseudoscalar Higgs bosons. One of the complex phases arise in the neutralino sector. For a particular choice of the relevant parameter values, the scalar-pseudoscalar mixings are found to strongly dependent on this phase. Meanwhile, for a wide region in the parameter space, the ratios of CP mixing elements of the neutral Higgs boson mass matrix to CP non-mixing ones increase weakly against this phase. Also, the neutral Higgs boson masses are roughly stable against the variation of this phase.

The phenomenology of the explicit CP violation in the Higgs sector of the next-to-minimal supersymmetric standard model (NMSSM) is investigated, with emphasis on the charged Higgs boson. The radiative corrections due to both quarks and scalar-quarks of the third generation are taken into account, and the negative result of the search for the Higgs bosons at CERN LEP2, with the discovery limit of 0.1 pb, is imposed as a constraint. It is found that there are parameter regions of the NMSSM where the lightest neutral Higgs boson may even be massless, without being detected at LEP2. This implies that the LEP2 data do not contradict the existence of a massless neutral Higgs boson in the NMSSM. For the charged Higgs boson, the radiative corrections to its mass may be negative in some parameter regions of the NMSSM. The phenomenological lower bound on the radiatively corrected mass of the charged Higgs boson is increased as the CP violation becomes maximal, i.e., as the CP violating phase becomes $π/2$. At the maximal CP violation, its lower bound is about 110 GeV for 5 $\leqslant \tan β\leqslant$ 40. The vacuum expectation value (VEV) of the neutral Higgs singlet is shown to be no smaller than 16 GeV for any parameter values of the NMSSM with explicit CP violation. This value of the lower limit is found to increase up to about 45 GeV as the ratio ($\tan β$) of the VEVs of the two Higgs doublets decreases to smaller values ($\sim$ 2). The discovery limit of the Higgs boson search at LEP2 is found to cover about a half of the kinematically allowed part of the whole parameter space of the NMSSM, and the portion is roughly stable against the CP violating phase.

We allow the polar $θ$ and azimuthal $φ$ angles to have uniform values in $[0,π)$ and $[-π, π)$, respectively, and the static universality class is shown to be identical to the classical XY model with two-component spins, as well as the CHSXY model with a different choice of dynamic variables, conventionally used in the literature. The relaxational dynamic simulation reveals that the dynamic critical exponent $z$ is found to have the value $z \approx 2.0$ for both two and three dimensions, in contrast to $z \approx d/2$ ($d=$ spatial dimension) found previously with spin dynamics simulation of the conventional CHSXY model. Comparisons with the usual two-component classical XY model are also made.

The spontaneous violation of the CP symmetry in the next-to-minimal supersymmetric standard Model (NMSSM) is investigated. It is found that the spontaneous violation of the CP symmetry can occur in the Higgs sector of the NMSSM for a wide region of the parameter space of the model, at the 1-loop level where the radiative corrections due to the top quark and scalar-top quark loops are found to generate the scalar-pseudoscalar mixings between the two Higgs doublets of the NMSSM. In our model, we assume that the masses of the left-handed and the right-handed scalar-top quarks are not degenerate. And we investigate our model anaytically: We derive analytical formulae of the 1-loop mass matrix for the neutral Higgs bosons. We calculate the upper bound on the lightest neutral Higgs boson mass under the assumption. It is found to be about 140 GeV for our choice of parameter values in the presence of the spontaneous violation of the CP symmetry in the NMSSM. Thus, the possibility of the spontaneous violation of the CP symmetry is not completely ruled out in the Higgs sector of the NMSSM if the masses of the left-handed and the right-handed scalar-top quarks are not degenerate. Further, the phenomenology of the $K$-${\bar K}$ mixing within the context of our model is studied. The lower bound on CP violating phase in the $K$-${\bar K}$ mixing is found to increase if either $\tanβ$ decreases or $A_t$ increases.

Furthermore the tree level parameter space of the model can be completely explored by the Higgs search at LEP 2 with $\sqrt{s}$ = 205 GeV. Radiative corrections both to the neutral Higgs boson masses and to the relevant couplings for the scalar Higgs productions give large contributions to the production cross sections of the scalar Higgs bosons at the tree level. The tree level situation at LEP 2 with $\sqrt{s}$ = 192 GeV as well as with $\sqrt{s}$ = 205 GeV can be drastically changed by these effects. We expect that a small region of the 1-loop level parameter space of the model via the scalar Higgs production can be explored by the Higgs search at LEP 2.
