Mabuchi Kähler solitons versus extremal Kähler metrics and beyond
Abstract: Using the Yau-Tian-Donaldson type correspondence for $v$-solitons established by Han-Li, we show that a smooth complex $n$-dimensional Fano variety admits a Mabuchi soliton provided it admits an extremal Kähler metric whose scalar curvature is strictly less than $2(n+1)$. Combined with previous observations by Mabuchi and Nakamura in the other direction, this gives a characterization of the existe… ▽ More

A uniform version of the Yau-Tian-Donaldson correspondence for extremal Kähler metrics on polarized toric manifolds
Abstract: The aim of this paper is to solve a uniform version of the Yau-Tian-Donaldson conjecture for polarized toric manifolds. Also, we show a combinatorial sufficient condition for uniform relative K-polystability.

Transition Temperature of Superconductivity in Sodium Tungsten Bronze -Theoretical Study Based on First-principles Calculations-
Abstract: Using first-principles calculations, we examine the transition temperature $T_{\rm c}$ of superconductivity in sodium tungsten bronze ( Na$_x$WO$_3$, where $x$ is equal to or less than unity ). Although $T_{\rm c}$ is relatively low $T_{\rm c}( <\sim 3 {\rm K})$, it is interesting that its characteristic exponential dependence on $x$ has been experimentally observed at $\sim 0.2 < x < \sim 0.4$. O… ▽ More

Relative Ding and $K$-stability of toric Fano manifolds in low dimensions
Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to clarify all of the uniformly relatively Ding stable toric Fano threefolds and fourfolds as well as unstable ones. The key player in our classification result is the Mabuchi constants, which can be calculated by combinatorial data of the associated moment polytopes due to the work of Yao [33]. In Tables 1-3, we give the list of uniform relative Ding stability of all… ▽ More

Strong K-stability and asymptotic Chow-stability
Abstract: For a polarized algebraic manifold $(X,L)$, let $T$ be an algebraic torus in the group of all holomorphic automorphisms of $X$. Then strong relative K-stability will be shown to imply asymptotic relative Chow-stability. In particular, by taking $T$ to be trivial, we see that asymptotic Chow-stability follows from strong K-stability.

A diameter bound for Sasaki manifolds with application to uniqueness for Sasaki-Einstein structure
Abstract: In this paper we give a diameter bound for Sasaki manifolds with positive transverse Ricci curvature. As an application, we obtain the uniqueness of Sasaki-Einstein metrics on compact Sasaki manifolds modulo the action of the identity component of the automorphism group for the transverse holomorphic structure.

Convexity properties of generalized moment maps
Abstract: In this paper, we consider generalized moment maps for Hamiltonian actions on $H$-twisted generalized complex manifolds introduced by Lin and Tolman \cite{Lin}. The main purpose of this paper is to show convexity and connectedness properties for generalized moment maps. We study Hamiltonian torus actions on compact $H$-twisted generalized complex manifolds and prove that all components of the ge… ▽ More

Duistermaat-Heckman formula for a torus action on a generalized Calabi-Yau manifold and localization formula
Abstract: This note is an addendum to our earlier work \cite{humi}. In \cite{humi}, we studied a Hamiltonian action for a generalized Calabi-Yau manifold and showed that the Duistermaat-Heckman theorem holds. The purpose of this note is to show that the density function of the Duistermaa-Heckman measure is a piecewise polynomial. We also prove that the localization formula holds.

Reduction of generalized Calabi-Yau structures
Abstract: A generalized Calabi-Yau structure is a geometrical structure on a manifold which generalizes both the concept of the Calabi-Yau structure and that of the symplectic one. In view of a result of Lin and Tolman in generalized complex cases, we introduce in this paper the notion of a generalized moment map for a compact Lie group action on a generalized Calabi-Yau manifold and construct a reduced g… ▽ More

Topic Graph Generation for Query Navigation: Use of Frequency Classes for Topic Extraction

Topic words are automatically extracted by frequency analysis and the strength of the relationships between topic words is measured by their co-occurrence. Co-occurrence Vectors from Corpora vs. Distance Vectors from Dictionaries
Abstract: A comparison was made of vectors derived by using ordinary co-occurrence statistics from large text corpora and of vectors derived by measuring the inter-word distances in dictionary definitions. The precision of word sense disambiguation by using co-occurrence vectors from the 1987 Wall Street Journal (20M total words) was higher than that by using distance vectors from the Collins English Dict… ▽ More
