Constraints on bulk viscosity in $f(Q,T)$ gravity from H(z)/Pantheon+ data
Abstract: In this study, we investigate the role of bulk viscosity in $f(Q,T)$ gravity in explaining late-time cosmic acceleration. This model, an extension of symmetric teleparallel gravity, introduces viscosity into cosmic matter dynamics for a more realistic representation. Specifically, we consider the linear form of $f (Q, T) =αQ + βT$, where $α$ and $β$ are free model parameters. To assess the model,… ▽ More

More Exact Thermodynamics of Nonlinear Charged AdS Black Holes in 4D Critical Gravity
Abstract: In this paper, we investigate nonlinearly charged AdS black holes in four-dimensional critical gravity and study more exact black hole thermodynamics under the effect of small statistical fluctuations. We compute the correction to the thermodynamics of nonlinearly charged AdS black hole up to the leading order. We discuss the stability of black holes under the circumstances of fluctuation and find… ▽ More

Quasinormal Modes and Phase Structure of Regular $AdS$ Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet Black Holes
Abstract: In this paper, we present an exact regular black hole solution in Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet coupled with nonlinear matter fields. It is a generalization of a regular Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet black hole in $5D$ $AdS$ spacetime. The causal structure of the obtained solution identifies with Boulware-Deser black hole solution, except for the curvature singularity at the center. It incorporates the Boulware-D… ▽ More

Weak Deflection Angle, Greybody Bound and Shadow for Charged Massive BTZ Black Hole
Abstract: We provide a discussion on a light ray in a charged black hole solution in massive gravity. To serve the purpose, we exploit the optical geometry of the black hole solution and find the Gaussian curvature in weak gravitational lensing. Furthermore, we discuss the deflection angle of the light ray in both plasma and non-plasma mediums using the Gauss-Bonnet theorem on the black hole. We also analyz… ▽ More

Solving the $H_{0}$ tension in $f(T)$ Gravity through Bayesian Machine Learning
Abstract: Bayesian Machine Learning~(BML) and strong lensing time delay~(SLTD) techniques are used in order to tackle the $H_{0}$ tension in $f(T)$ gravity. The power of BML relies on employing a model-based generative process which already plays an important role in different domains of cosmology and astrophysics, being the present work a further proof of this. Three viable $f(T)$ models are considered: a… ▽ More

Reconstruction of the quintessence dark energy potential from a Gaussian process
Abstract: The quintessence dark energy potential is reconstructed in a model-independent way. Reconstruction relies on a Gaussian process and on available expansion-rate data. Specifically, 40-point values of $H(z)$ are used, consisting of a 30-point sample deduced from a differential age method and an additional 10-point sample obtained from the radial BAO method. Viscous coupled fluids in terms of a log-corrected equation of state
Abstract: We consider a class of cosmological fluids that possess properties analogous to those of crystalline solids undergoing isotropic deformations. Our research is based on a modified log-corrected power-law equation of state in the presence of a bulk viscosity. This formalism represents a class of so-called logotropic fluids, and allows explaining an accelerating late-time universe. In order to obtain… ▽ More

General slow-roll inflation in $f(R)$ gravity under the Palatini approach
Abstract: Slow-roll inflation is analyzed in the context of modified gravity within the Palatini formalism. As shown in the literature, inflation in this framework requires the presence of non-traceless matter, otherwise it does not occur just as a consequence of the non-linear gravitational terms of the action. Nevertheless, by including a single scalar field that plays the role of the inflaton, slow-roll… ▽ More

Abstract: We study chaotic and runaway potential inflationary models in the curvaton scenario. In particular, we address the issue of large tensor-to-scalar ratio and red-tilted spectrum in chaotic models and reheating in runaway model in the light of latest Planck results. We show that curvaton can easily circumvent these problems and is well applicable to both type of models. For chaotic models, the obser… ▽ More

Abstract: In this paper, we consider a cosmological model of the flat and homogeneous universe for the Starobinsky model $F(R)=αR + βR^{2}$, which is non-minimally coupled with f-essence. For this model we obtained the field equations and considered particular solutions of the coupling and fermionic field functions.
