The BM@N spectrometer at the NICA accelerator complex
Abstract: BM@N (Baryonic Matter at Nuclotron) is the first experiment operating and taking data at the Nuclotron/NICA ion-accelerating complex. The aim of the BM@N experiment is to study interactions of relativistic heavy-ion beams with fixed targets. We present a technical description of the BM@N spectrometer including all its subsystems.

Production of $π^+$ and $K^+$ mesons in argon-nucleus interactions at 3.2 AGeV
Abstract: First physics results of the BM@N experiment at the Nuclotron/NICA complex are presented on π+ and K+ meson production in interactions of an argon beam with fixed targets of C, Al, Cu, Sn and Pb at 3.2 AGeV. Transverse momentum distributions, rapidity spectra and multiplicities of $π^+$ and $K^+$ mesons are measured. The results are compared with predictions of theoretical models and with other me… ▽ More

Unperturbed inverse kinematics nucleon knockout measurements with a 48 GeV/c carbon beam
Abstract: From superconductors to atomic nuclei, strongly-interacting many-body systems are ubiquitous in nature. Measuring the microscopic structure of such systems is a formidable challenge, often met by particle knockout scattering experiments. While such measurements are fundamental for map** the structure of atomic nuclei, their interpretation is often challenged by quantum mechanical initial- and fi… ▽ More

Monte-Carlo generator of heavy ion collisions DCM-SMM
Abstract: The new monte-carlo generator of heavy ion collisions, DCM-SMM, based on Dubna Cascade Model (DCM-QGSM) and Statistical Multifragmentation Model (SMM) is described. The model aimed to generate particle--nucleus and nucleus--nucleus collisions at a wide range of energy was created to provide the computer simulation support to new experimental facilities BMN and MPD at the accelerator complex NICA.… ▽ More

Hadron modification in a dense baryonic matter
Abstract: Starting with the Strongly Correlated Quark Model of a hadron structure, SCQM, we demonstrate how the properties of mesons and baryons are modified in a hot and dense nuclear environment. These in-medium modifications can lead to the observable effects in heavy ion collisions, such as enhancement of strangeness and drop** vector meson masses.

From quark and nucleon correlations to discrete symmetry and clustering in nuclei
Abstract: Starting with a quark model of nucleon structure in which the valence quarks are strongly correlated within a nucleon, the light nuclei are constructed by assuming similar correlations of the quarks of neighboring nucleons. Applying the model to larger collections of nucleons reveals the emergence of the face-centered cubic (FCC) symmetry at the nuclear level. Nuclei with closed shells possess oct… ▽ More

Total Cross Section, Inelasticity and Multiplicity Distributions in Proton -- Proton Collisions
Abstract: Multiparticle production in high energy proton -- proton collisions has been analysed in the frame of Strongly Correlated Quark Model (SCQM) of the hadron structure elaborated by the author. It is shown that inelasticity decreases at high energies and this effect together with the total cross section growth and the increasing with collision energy the masses of intermediate clusters result in th… ▽ More

Quark Correlations in Nucleons and Nuclei
Abstract: A dynamical quark model of hadron and nucleus structure is proposed. In the frame of the model, called the Strongly Correlated Quark Model, quarks and nucleons inside nuclei are arranged in a crystal--like structure.

Isotope effect in yields of nuclear reactions
Abstract: The analysis results of the isotopic yields for products obtained in reactions of protons at energies 0.66, 1, 8.1GeV with separated tin isotopes are presented. The experimental data are compared in form of reactions of element cross sections for two targets of different isotope compositions. The scaling behaviour have been shown in the dependence of this ratios from neutron and proton compositi… ▽ More

Fragmentation of Nuclei at Intermediate and High Energies in Modified Cascade Model
Abstract: The process of nuclear multifragmentation has been implemented, together with evaporation and fission channels of the disintegration of excited remnants in nucleus-nucleus collisions using percolation theory and the intranuclear cascade model. Colliding nuclei are treated as face--centered--cubic lattices with nucleons occupying the nodes of the lattice. The site--bond percolation model is used.… ▽ More

Mass spectra measurement in the reaction (p,2p) at protons energy 500 MeV on nuclei C,Al,Cu and Pb
Abstract: Mass spectra of the reaction (p,2p) at the beam energy 500 MeV on nuclei C,Al,Cu and Pb were measured on two-armed nonmagnetic scintillation spectrometer (candlepower - 0.2 sr, mass allowance - 4 MeV), which is lokated on the TRIUMF cyclotron (Canada). Observable anomalies in these spectra can be stipulated by forming of two-nucleon resonance states.

Quark Correlations Inside Hadrons And Single Diffraction
Abstract: Hadron structure is considered in the frame of Strongly Correlated Quark Model (SCQM). It is shown that quark correlations result in fluctuations of hadronic matter distributions and single diffractive dissociation processes in hadronic collisions, hard or soft, are manifestation of these fluctuations inside colliding hadrons.
