Next-generation cellular networks will play a key role in the evolution of different vertical industries. Low latency will be a major requirement in many related uses cases. This requirement is specially challenging in scenarios with high mobility of end devices, such as vehicular communications. The Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC) paradigm seeks to satisfy it. In this article we propose the dynamic deployment of anchor point network functions at edge locations and the assignment of terminals to these anchor points with the joint objective of minimizing communications latency and reducing network overhead. We formally define the problem as a multi-objective optimization and also propose a novel heuristic greedy algorithm for approximating the solution. This algorithm compares favorably with baseline and state-of-the-art strategies for latency minimization while reducing the overhead caused by network reconfigurations.

The primary objective of this work is to study the dynamical characteristics of an anisotropic compact star model with spherical symmetry. This investigation is conducted in the framework of $f(Q)$ modified gravity. To simplify the calculations, we employ the Karmarkar condition and derive a differential equation that establishes a relationship between two crucial components of the spacetime namely $e^ν$ and $e^λ$. Additionally, we incorporate the well-known Finch-Skea structure as the component representing $g_{rr}$ and subsequently find the resulting form of the component $g_{tt}$ from the relation of metric functions to formulate the precise solutions for the stellar structure. To assess the behavior of the anisotropic fluid and stability of the compact star, we use the observed values of mass and radius for the compact star model $PSR J0437-4715$. The graphical analysis depicts that the stellar structure possesses physical viability and exhibits intriguing properties. Furthermore, we predicted the mass-radius relation along with the maximum mass limit of several objects for different parameter values by assuming two different surface densities. It is discovered that the compactness rises when density increases.

In this research paper, we explore a well-motivated parametrization of the time-dependent deceleration parameter, characterized by a cubic form, within the context of late time cosmic acceleration. The current analysis is based on the $f(Q,T)$ gravity theory, by considering the background metric as the homogeneous and isotropic Friedmann Lemaître Robertson Walker (FLRW) metric. Investigating the model reveals intriguing features of the late universe. To constrain the model, we use the recent observational datasets, including cosmic chronometer (CC), Supernovae (SNIa), Baryon Acoustic Oscillation (BAO), Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation (CMB), Gamma Ray Burst (GRB), and Quasar (Q) datasets. The joint analysis of these datasets results in tighter constraints for the model parameters, enabling us to discuss both the physical and geometrical aspects of the model. Moreover, we determine the present values of the deceleration parameter ($q_0$), the Hubble parameter ($H_0$), and the transition redshift ($z_t$) from deceleration to acceleration ensuring consistency with some recent results of Planck 2018. Our statistical analysis yields highly improved results, surpassing those obtained in previous investigations. Overall, this study presents valuable insights into the higher order $q(t)$ model and its implications for late-time cosmic acceleration, shedding light on the nature of the late universe.

The terahertz (THz) band (0.1-10 THz) is widely considered to be a candidate band for the sixth-generation mobile communication technology (6G). However, due to its short wavelength (less than 1 mm), scattering becomes a particularly significant propagation mechanism. In previous studies, we proposed a scattering model to characterize the scattering in THz bands, which can only reconstruct the scattering in the incidence plane. In this paper, a three-dimensional (3D) stochastic model is proposed to characterize the THz scattering on rough surfaces. Then, we reconstruct the scattering on rough surfaces with different shapes and under different incidence angles utilizing the proposed model. Good agreements can be achieved between the proposed model and full-wave simulation results. This stochastic 3D scattering model can be integrated into the standard channel modeling framework to realize more realistic THz channel data for the evaluation of 6G.

The current study explores the generalized embedded wormhole solutions in the background of $f(\mathcal{R},\mathcal{G})$ gravity, where $\mathcal{R}$ represents the Ricci scalar and $\mathcal{G}$ denotes the Gauss-Bonnet invariant. To investigate the necessary structures of the wormhole solutions we thoroughly analyzed the energy conditions under $f(\mathcal{R},\mathcal{G})$ gravity within the anisotropic source of matter. To meet this aim, we consider spherically symmetric geometry with the most generic gravity model of the gravity. A modified version of the field equations is calculated for two different embedded wormhole solutions. All the energy conditions are calculated and shown graphically with the regional ranges of the model parameter. Further, the invalid region of the energy conditions confirms the presence of exotic matter. Finally, we have concluding remarks.

Since Internet of Things (IoT) is suggested as the fundamental platform to adapt massive connections and secure transmission, we study physical-layer authentication in the point-to-point wireless systems relying on reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS) technique. Due to lack of direct link from IoT devices (both legal and illegal devices) to the access point, we benefit from RIS by considering two main secure performance metrics. As main goal, we examine the secrecy performance of a RIS-aided wireless communication systems which show secure performance in the presence of an eavesdrop** IoT devices. In this circumstance, RIS is placed between the access point and the legitimate devices and is designed to enhance the link security. To specify secure system performance metrics, we firstly present analytical results for the secrecy outage probability. Then, secrecy rate is further examined. Interestingly, we are to control both the average signal-to-noise ratio at the source and the number of metasurface elements of the RIS to achieve improved system performance. We verify derived expressions by matching Monte-Carlo simulation and analytical results.

This work performs the statistical QoS analysis of a Rician block-fading reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS)-assisted D2D link in which the transmit node operates under delay QoS constraints. First, we perform mode selection for the D2D link, in which the D2D pair can either communicate directly by relaying data from RISs or through a base station (BS). Next, we provide closed-form expressions for the effective capacity (EC) of the RIS-assisted D2D link. When channel state information at the transmitter (CSIT) is available, the transmit D2D node communicates with the variable rate $r_t(n)$ (adjustable according to the channel conditions); otherwise, it uses a fixed rate $r_t$. It allows us to model the RIS-assisted D2D link as a Markov system in both cases. We also extend our analysis to overlay and underlay D2D settings. To improve the throughput of the RIS-assisted D2D link when CSIT is unknown, we use the HARQ retransmission scheme and provide the EC analysis of the HARQ-enabled RIS-assisted D2D link. Finally, simulation results demonstrate that: i) the EC increases with an increase in RIS elements, ii) the EC decreases when strict QoS constraints are imposed at the transmit node, iii) the EC decreases with an increase in the variance of the path loss estimation error, iv) the EC increases with an increase in the probability of ON states, v) EC increases by using HARQ when CSIT is unknown, and it can reach up to $5\times$ the usual EC (with no HARQ and without CSIT) by using the optimal number of retransmissions.

The rapid technological advances of cellular technologies will revolutionize network automation in industrial internet of things (IIoT). In this paper, we investigate the two-timescale resource allocation problem in IIoT networks with hybrid energy supply, where temporal variations of energy harvesting (EH), electricity price, channel state, and data arrival exhibit different granularity. The formulated problem consists of energy management at a large timescale, as well as rate control, channel selection, and power allocation at a small timescale. To address this challenge, we develop an online solution to guarantee bounded performance deviation with only causal information. Specifically, Lyapunov optimization is leveraged to transform the long-term stochastic optimization problem into a series of short-term deterministic optimization problems. Then, a low-complexity rate control algorithm is developed based on alternating direction method of multipliers (ADMM), which accelerates the convergence speed via the decomposition-coordination approach. Next, the joint channel selection and power allocation problem is transformed into a one-to-many matching problem, and solved by the proposed price-based matching with quota restriction. Finally, the proposed algorithm is verified through simulations under various system configurations.

Wireless energy transfer (WET) is a ground-breaking technology for cutting the last wire between mobile sensors and power grids in smart cities. Yet, WET only offers effective transmission of energy over a short distance. Robotic WET is an emerging paradigm that mounts the energy transmitter on a mobile robot and navigates the robot through different regions in a large area to charge remote energy harvesters. However, it is challenging to determine the robotic charging strategy in an unknown and dynamic environment due to the uncertainty of obstacles. This paper proposes a hardware-in-the-loop joint optimization framework that offers three distinctive features: 1) efficient model updates and re-optimization based on the last-round experimental data; 2) iterative refinement of the anchor list for adaptation to different environments; 3) verification of algorithms in a high-fidelity Gazebo simulator and a multi-robot testbed. Experimental results show that the proposed framework significantly saves the WET mission completion time while satisfying collision avoidance and energy harvesting constraints.

In the current era, the next-generation networks like 5th generation (5G) and 6th generation (6G) networks require high security, low latency with a high reliable standards and capacity. In these networks, reconfigurable wireless network slicing is considered as one of the key elements for 5G and 6G networks. A reconfigurable slicing allows the operators to run various instances of the network using a single infrastructure for a better quality of services (QoS). The QoS can be achieved by reconfiguring and optimizing these networks using Artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms. To develop a smart decision-making mechanism for network management and restricting network slice failures, machine learning-enabled reconfigurable wireless network solutions are required. In this paper, we propose a hybrid deep learning model that consists of a convolution neural network (CNN) and long short term memory (LSTM). The CNN performs resource allocation, network reconfiguration, and slice selection while the LSTM is used for statistical information (load balancing, error rate etc.) regarding network slices. The applicability of the proposed model is validated by using multiple unknown devices, slice failure, and overloading conditions. The overall accuracy of 95.17% is achieved by the proposed model that reflects its applicability.

Task offloading in Internet of Vehicles (IoV) involves numerous steps and optimization variables such as: where to offload tasks, how to allocate computation resources, how to adjust offloading ratio and transmit power for offloading, and such optimization variables and hybrid combination features are highly coupled with each other. Thus, this is a fully challenge issue to optimize these variables for task offloading to sustainably reduce energy consumption with load balancing while ensuring that a task is completed before its deadline. In this paper, we first provide a Mixed Integer Nonlinear Programming Problem (MINLP) formulation for such task offloading under energy and deadline constraints in IoV. Furthermore, in order to efficiently solve the formulated MINLP, we decompose it into two subproblems, and design a low-complexity Joint Optimization for Energy Consumption and Task Processing Delay (JOET) algorithm to optimize selection decisions, resource allocation, offloading ratio and transmit power adjustment. We carry out extensive simulation experiments to validate JOET. The huge amount of data produced in the fifth-generation (5G) networks not only brings new challenges to the reliability and efficiency of mobile devices but also drives rapid development of new storage techniques. With the benefits of fast access speed and high reliability, NAND flash memory has become a promising storage solution for the 5G networks. In this paper, we investigate a protograph-coded bit-interleaved coded modulation with iterative detection and decoding (BICM-ID) utilizing irregular map** (IM) in the multi-level-cell (MLC) NAND flash-memory systems. First, we propose an enhanced protograph-based extrinsic information transfer (EPEXIT) algorithm to facilitate the analysis of protograph codes in the IM-BICM-ID systems. With the use of EPEXIT algorithm, a simple design method is conceived for the construction of a family of high-rate protograph codes, called irregular-mapped accumulate-repeat-accumulate (IMARA) codes, which possess both excellent decoding thresholds and linear-minimum-distance-growth property. Furthermore, motivated by the voltage-region iterative gain characteristics of IM-BICM-ID systems, a novel read-voltage optimization scheme is developed to acquire accurate read-voltage levels, thus minimizing the decoding thresholds of protograph codes. Theoretical analyses and error-rate simulations indicate that the proposed IMARA-aided IM-BICM-ID scheme and the proposed read-voltage optimization scheme remarkably improve the convergence and decoding performance of flash-memory systems. The development of mobile services has impacted a variety of computation-intensive and time-sensitive applications, such as recommendation systems and daily payment methods. However, computing task competition involving limited resources increases the task processing latency and energy consumption of mobile devices, as well as time constraints. Mobile edge computing (MEC) has been widely used to address these problems. However, there are limitations to existing methods used during computation offloading. On the one hand, they focus on independent tasks rather than dependent tasks. The challenges of task dependency in the real world, especially task segmentation and integration, remain to be addressed. On the other hand, the multiuser scenarios related to resource allocation and the mutex access problem must be considered. In this paper, we propose a novel offloading approach, Com-DDPG, for MEC using multiagent reinforcement learning to enhance the offloading performance. First, we discuss the task dependency model, task priority model, energy consumption model, and average latency from the perspective of server clusters and multidependence on mobile tasks. Our method based on these models is introduced to formalize communication behavior among multiple agents; then, reinforcement learning is executed as an offloading strategy to obtain the results. Because of the incomplete state information, long short-term memory (LSTM) is employed as a decision-making tool to assess the internal state. Moreover, to optimize and support effective action, we consider using a bidirectional recurrent neural network (BRNN) to learn and enhance features obtained from agents' communication. Finally, we simulate experiments on the Alibaba cluster dataset. The results show that our method is better than other baselines in terms of energy consumption, load status and latency.

Non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) and ambient backscatter communication have been envisioned as two promising technologies for the Internet-of-things due to their high spectral efficiency and energy efficiency. Motivated by this fact, we consider an ambient backscatter NOMA system in the presence of a malicious eavesdropper. Under some realistic assumptions of residual hardware impairments (RHIs), channel estimation errors (CEEs) and imperfect successive interference cancellation (ipSIC), we investigate the physical layer security (PLS) of the ambient backscatter NOMA systems focusing on reliability and security. In order to further improve the security of the considered system, an artificial noise scheme is proposed where the radio frequency (RF) source acts as a jammer that transmits interference signal to the legitimate receivers and eavesdropper. On this basis, the analytical expressions for the outage probability (OP) and the intercept probability (IP) are derived. To gain more insights, the asymptotic analysis and diversity orders for the OP in the high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) regime are carried out, and the asymptotic behaviors of the IP in the high main-to-eavesdropper ratio (MER) region are explored as well. Numerical results show that: 1) RHIs, CEEs and ipSIC have negative effects on the OP but positive effects on the IP; 2) Compared with CEEs, RHIs have a more serious impact on the reliability and security of the considered system; 3) There exists a trade-off between reliability and security, and this trade-off can be optimized by reducing the power coefficient of the artificial noise or increasing the interfering factor of readers; 4) There are error floors for the OP due to the CEEs and the reflection coefficient; 5) As MER grows large, the security for Rnand Rf is improved, while the security for T is reduced.

To handle the data explosion in the era of internet of things (IoT), it is of interest to investigate the decentralized network, with the aim at relaxing the burden to central server along with kee** data privacy. In this work, we develop a fully decentralized federated learning (FL) framework with an inexact stochastic parallel random walk alternating direction method of multipliers (ISPW-ADMM). Performing more communication efficient and enhanced privacy preservation compared with the current state-of-the-art, the proposed ISPW-ADMM can be partially immune to the impacts from time-varying dynamic network and stochastic data collection, while still in fast convergence. Benefits from the stochastic gradients and biased first-order moment estimation, the proposed framework can be applied to any decentralized FL tasks over time-varying graphs. Thus to further demonstrate the practicability of such framework in providing fast convergence, high communication efficiency, and system robustness, we study the extreme learning machine(ELM)-based FL model for robust beamforming (BF) design in UAV communications, as verified by the numerical simulations.

As a typical example of bandwidth-efficient techniques, bit-interleaved coded modulation with iterative decoding (BICM-ID) provides desirable spectral efficiencies in various wireless communication scenarios. In this paper, we carry out a comprehensive investigation on tail-biting (TB) spatially coupled protograph (SCP) low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes in BICM-ID systems. Specifically, we first develop a two-step design method to formulate a novel type of constellation mappers, referred to as labeling-bit-partial-match (LBPM) constellation mappers, for SC-P-based BICM-ID systems. The LBPM constellation mappers can be seamlessly combined with high-order modulations, such as M-ary phase-shift keying (PSK) and M-ary quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM). Furthermore, we conceive a new bit-level interleaving scheme, referred to as variable node matched map** (VNMM) scheme, which can substantially exploit the structure feature of SC-P codes and the unequal protection-degree property of labeling bits to trigger the wave-like convergence for TB-SC-P codes. In addition, we propose a hierarchical extrinsic information transfer (EXIT) algorithm to predict the convergence performance (i.e., decoding thresholds) of the proposed SC-P-based BICM-ID systems. Theoretical analyses and simulation results illustrate that the LBPM-mapped SC-P-based BICM-ID systems are remarkably superior to the state-of-the-art mapped counterparts. Moreover, the proposed SC-P-based BICM-ID systems can achieve even better error performance with the aid of the VNMM scheme. As a consequence, the proposed LBPM constellation mappers and VNMM scheme make the SC-P-based BICM-ID systems a favorable choice for the future-generation wireless communication systems.

In this article, we briefly review the variants of channel-coded PNC wireless communications with the aim of inspiring future research activities in this area. We also put forth open research problems along with a few selected research directions under PNC-aided frameworks.

In this paper, we discuss the phase space analysis of locally rotationally symmetric Bianchi type I universe model by taking a noninteracting mixture of dust like and viscous radiation like fluid whose viscous pressure satisfies a nonlinear version of the Israel-Stewart transport equation. An autonomous system of equations is established by defining normalized dimensionless variables. In order to investigate the stability of the system, we evaluate corresponding critical points for different values of the parameters. We also compute the power-law scale factor whose behavior indicates different phases of the universe model. It is found that our analysis does not provide a complete immune from fine-tuning because the exponentially expanding solution occurs only for a a particular range of parameters. We conclude that stable solutions exist in the presence of nonlinear model for bulk viscosity with different choices of the constant parameter $m$ for anisotropic universe.

Blockchain has been regarded as a promising technology for Internet of Things (IoT), since it provides significant solutions for decentralized network which can address trust and security concerns, high maintenance cost problem, etc. The decentralization provided by blockchain can be largely attributed to the use of consensus mechanism, which enables peer-to-peer trading in a distributed manner without the involvement of any third party. This article starts from introducing the basic concept of blockchain and illustrating why consensus mechanism plays an indispensable role in a blockchain enabled IoT system. Then, we discuss the main ideas of two famous consensus mechanisms including Proof of Work (PoW) and Proof of Stake (PoS), and list their limitations in IoT. Next, two mainstream Direct Acyclic Graph (DAG) based consensus mechanisms, i.e., the Tangle and Hashgraph, are reviewed to show why DAG consensus is more suitable for IoT system than PoW and PoS. Potential issues and challenges of DAG based consensus mechanism to be addressed in the future are discussed in the last.

Consider a device to device (D2D) link which utilizes the mode selection to decide between the direct mode and cellular mode. This paper investigates the impact of mode selection on effective capacity (EC) (the maximum sustainable constant arrival rate at a transmitters queue under statistical quality of service constraints) of a D2D link for both overlay and underlay scenarios. Due to lack of channel state information, the transmit device sends data at a fixed rate and fixed power; this fact combined with mode selection makes the D2D channel a Markov service process. Thus, the EC is obtained by calculating the entries of the transition probability matrix corresponding to the Markov D2D channel. Numerical results show that the EC decays exponentially (and the gain of overlay D2D over underlay D2D diminishes) with the increase in estimation error of the pathloss measurements utilized by the mode selection.

For this purpose, we follow the Eulerian and Lagrangian approaches to evaluate linearized perturbed equation of motion. We formulate perturbed pressure in terms of adiabatic index by applying the conservation of baryon numbers. A variational principle is established to determine characteristic frequencies of oscillation which define stability criteria for gaseous cylinder. We compute the ranges of radii as well as adiabatic index for both charged and uncharged cases in Newtonian and post-Newtonian limits. We conclude that dynamical instability occurs in the presence of charge if the gaseous cylinder contracts to the radius $R_{*}$.

In this paper, we study the phase space analysis of locally rotationally symmetric Bianchi type I universe model by taking interactions between dark matter and scalar field models. We define normalized dimensionless variables to develop an autonomous system of equations. We also find the corresponding critical points in order to study the dynamics of the system. The dynamical analysis indicates that all the critical points correspond to accelerated cosmic expansion for tachyon coupled field. We observe that positive values of $m$ provide more stable future attractors as compared to its negative values. We also analyze the behavior of power-law scale factor which shows different cosmological phases. It is found that the region for decelerated expansion gets larger for the phantom coupled matter by increasing $m$ while this region decreases for tachyon coupled field.

Millimeter wave (mmWave) communications have recently attracted large research interest, since the huge available bandwidth can potentially lead to rates of multiple Gbps (gigabit per second) per user. Though mmWave can be readily used in stationary scenarios such as indoor hotspots or backhaul, it is challenging to use mmWave in mobile networks, where the transmitting/receiving nodes may be moving, channels may have a complicated structure, and the coordination among multiple nodes is difficult. To fully exploit the high potential rates of mmWave in mobile networks, lots of technical problems must be addressed. This paper presents a comprehensive survey of mmWave communications for future mobile networks (5G and beyond). We first summarize the recent channel measurement campaigns and modeling results. Then, we discuss in detail recent progresses in multiple input multiple output (MIMO) transceiver design for mmWave communications. After that, we provide an overview of the solution for multiple access and backhauling, followed by analysis of coverage and connectivity. Finally, the progresses in the standardization and deployment of mmWave for mobile networks are discussed.

We analyze attractive and repulsive characteristics of wormholes corresponding to outward and inward-directed acceleration components, respectively. A general equation of state is assumed as a linear perturbation to explore stability of these constructed wormholes with and without cosmological constant. We consider linear, logarithmic and Chaplygin gas models for exotic matter and evaluate stability regions for different values of charge. For horizon-free case, it is found that the generalized Chaplygin gas model provides maximum stable regions in de Sitter background while the modified generalized Chaplygin gas and logarithmic gas yield maximum stable regions in anti-de Sitter spacetime.

The aim of this paper is to construct regular Hayward thin-shell wormholes and analyze their stability. We adopt Israel formalism to calculate surface stresses of the shell and check the null and weak energy conditions for the constructed wormholes. It is found that the stress-energy tensor components violate the null and weak energy conditions leading to the presence of exotic matter at the throat. We analyze the attractive and repulsive characteristics of wormholes corresponding to $a^r>0$ and $a^r<0$, respectively. We also explore stability conditions for the existence of traversable thin-shell wormholes with arbitrarily small amount of fluids describing cosmic expansion. We find that the spacetime has non-physical regions which give rise to event horizon for $0<a_{0}<2.8$ and the wormhole becomes non-traversable producing a black hole. The non-physical region in the wormhole configuration decreases gradually and vanishes for the Hayward parameter $l=0.9$. It is concluded that the Hayward and Van der Waals quintessence parameters increase the stability of thin-shell wormholes.

Channel state information at the transmitter (CSIT) is essential for frequency-division duplexing (FDD) massive MIMO systems, but conventional solutions involve overwhelming overhead both for downlink channel training and uplink channel feedback. In this letter, we propose a joint CSIT acquisition scheme to reduce the overhead. Particularly, unlike conventional schemes where each user individually estimates its own channel and then feed it back to the base station (BS), we propose that all scheduled users directly feed back the pilot observation to the BS, and then joint CSIT recovery can be realized at the BS. We further formulate the joint CSIT recovery problem as a low-rank matrix completion problem by utilizing the low-rank property of the massive MIMO channel matrix, which is caused by the correlation among users. Finally, we propose a hybrid low-rank matrix completion algorithm based on the singular value projection to solve this problem. Simulations demonstrate that the proposed scheme can provide accurate CSIT with lower overhead than conventional schemes.

This paper starts by an investigation of nonlinear transmission in space-division multiplexed (SDM) systems using multimode fibers exhibiting a rapidly varying birefringence. A primary objective is to generalize the Manakov equations, well known in the case of single-mode fibers. We first investigate a reference case where linear coupling among the spatial modes of the fiber is weak and after averaging over birefringence fluctuations, we obtain new Manakov equations for multimode fibers. Such an averaging reduces the number of intermodal nonlinear terms drastically since all four-wave-mixing terms average out. Cross-phase modulation terms still affect multimode transmission but their effectiveness is reduced. We then verify the accuracy of our new Manakov equations by transmitting multiple PDM-QPSK signals over different modes of a multimode fiber and comparing the numerical results with those obtained by solving the full stochastic equation. The agreement is excellent in all cases studied. A great benefit of the new equations is to reduce the computation time by a factor of 10 or more. Another important feature observed is that birefringence fluctuations improve system performance by reducing the impact of fiber nonlinearities. Finally multimode fibers with strong random coupling among all spatial modes are considered. Linear coupling is modeled using the random matrix theory approach. We derive new Manakov equations for multimode fibers in that regime and show that such fibers can perform better than single-modes fiber for large number of propagating spatial modes.

The current SINR mechanism does not provide the base station (BS) with any knowledge on the frequency selectivity of channel from mobile service station(MSS). This knowledge is important since, contrary to the AWGN channel, in a frequency selective channel there is no longer a 1 to 1 relation between amount of increase in power and amount of improvement in effective SINR 1. Furthermore, the relation is dependent on MCS level. This lack of knowledge in the BS side results in larger fade margins, which translates directly to reduction in capacity. In this paper we propose a enhanced algorithm on the EESM model with weighted beta (β) that provides the BS with sufficient knowledge on the channel-dependent relationship between power increase, MCS change and improvement in effective SINR.
