Since the early 1960s, the fields of signal processing, data transmission, channel equalisation, filter design and others have been technologically developed and modernised as a result of the research carried out by D. Slepian and his co-authors H. J Landau and H. O Pollack on the time and band-limited wave system known as discrete and continuous spheroidal waves systems. Our aim in this paper is to introduce new discrete wave sequences called discrete Hankel Prolate spheroidal sequences {\bf DHPSS} and their counterparts in the frequency domain called discrete Hankel Prolate spheroidal wave functions {\bf DHPSWF} as radial parts of different solutions of a discrete multidimensional energy maximization problem similar to the one given by D. Slepian and which will generalize his classical pioneering work. In the meantime, we will ensure that our new family is the eigenfunctions set of a finite rank integral operator defined on $L^2(0,ω),\,0<ω<1,$ with an associated kernel given by $\sum_{k=1}^Nφ^α_{n}(r)φ^α_{n}(r'),$ where $φ^α_{n}(r)=\frac{\sqrt{2r}J_α(s_n^{(α)}r)}{|J_{α+1}(s^{(α)}_n)|},0\leq r\leq 1.$ Here $J_α$ is the Bessel function of the first kind and $(s_n^{(α)})_n$ are the associated positive zeros. In addition, we will extend the various classical results proposed concerning the decay rate and spectral distribution associated with the classical case, then we will finish our work by an application on the Ingham's universal constant which we will specify with an upper bound estimate.

Recently, with the progress of science and the characteristic properties that distinguish the Slepian system called Prolate spheroidal wave functions from the others orthonormal systems, it became clear its important contributions in several areas such as mathematical statistics, signal processing, numerical analysis etc...The main issue of this work is to establish the convergence quality of the truncated error of a function $f$ from the Hankel Sobolev space $\mathcal{H}_α^r$, $r > 0$ and $α\geq -1/2$, by a generalized prolate spheroidal wave functions basis in $L^2$ norm. In the meantime, we will create two uniform approximations of the previous system by two special functions, the first is a Bessel function type and the second is a modified Jacobi polynomial. Furthermore, using the fact that the generalized PSWFs are the eigenfunctions of a Sturm Liouville operator, we will improve a new bound of the associated eigenvalues. The generalized prolate basis we consider here is the circular prolate spheroidal wave function (CPSWFs), called also Hankel prolate, introduced by D. Slepian in 1964, denoted by $\vp$, $c > 0$. The Hankel prolate covers the classical PSWFs $(α=\pm1/2)$ for which corresponding results have been established previously by many authors.

Language transformations are algorithms that take a language specification in input, and return the language specification modified. Language transformations are useful for automatically adding features such as subty** to programming languages (PLs), and for automatically deriving abstract machines.
In this paper, we set forth the thesis that teaching programming languages features with the help of language transformations, in addition to the planned material, can be beneficial for students to help them deepen their understanding of the features being taught.
We have conducted a study on integrating language transformations into an undergraduate PL course. We describe our study, the material that we have taught, and the exam submitted to students, and we present the results from this study. Although we refrain from drawing general conclusions on the effectiveness of language transformations, this paper offers encouraging data. We also offer this paper to inspire similar studies.

In \cite{IAM}, we have expressed the normalized trace of $\vee^kA$ as an integral of the $k$-th powers of the numerical values of $A$ over the unit sphere $\mathbb{S}^{n}$ of $\mathbb{C}^{n}$ with respect to the normalized Euclidean surface measure $σ$. In this paper, we first use this integral representation to construct a family of unitarily invariant norms on $ M_n(\mathbb{C})$ and then explore their relations to Schatten-norms of $\vee^k A$. Another application yields a connection between the analysis of symmetric gauge functions with that of complete symmetric polynomials. Finally, motivated by the work of R. Bhatia and J. Holbrook in \cite{hol}, and as pointed out by R. Bhatia in \cite{bhatia} in the development of the theory of weakly unitarily invariant norms, we provide an explicit form for the weakly unitarily invariant norm corresponding to the $L^4$-norm on the space $C(\mathbb{S}^{n})$ of continuous functions on the sphere. Our result generalize those of R. Bhatia and J. Holbrook in different directions and pave the way to a technique for computing those weakly unitarily invariant norms on $ M_n(\mathbb{C})$ that are associated to $L^{2k}$-norms on $C(\mathbb{S}^{n})$.

As applications, we present a new proof for the MacMahon Master Theorem in enumerative combinatorics. Then, our next application deals with a generalization of the work of Cuttler et al. in \cite{cuttler} concerning the monotonicity of products of complete symmetric polynomials. In the process, we give a solution to an open problem that was raised by I. Rovenţa and L. E. Temereanca in \cite{roventa}.

The quality and quantity of asynchronous and synchronous communications are the key elements for E-learning success. It is important to have a propitious supervision to reduce the feeling of isolation in E-learning. This feeling of isolation is among the main causes of loss and high rates of stalling in E-learning. The researches to be conducted in this domain aim to bring solutions of convergence coming from real time image for the capture and recognition of hand gestures. These gestures will be analyzed by the system and transformed as indicator of participation. This latter is displayed in the table of performance of the tutor as a curve according to the time. In case of isolation of learner, the indicator of participation will become red and the tutor will be informed of learners with difficulties to participate during learning session.

The development of technologies of multimedia, linked to that of Internet and democratization of high speed, has made henceforth E-learning possible for learners being in virtual classes and geographically distributed. One benefit to taking course online is that the online course structure is typically more student focused than teacher centered and encouraging more active participation by students in collaborative learning activities. The quality and quantity of asynchronous and synchronous communications are the key elements for E-learning success. A potential problem that has received little exploration is student's feeling of isolation. It is important to have a propitious supervision to breaking down learner feeling isolation in E learning environment. This feeling of isolation is among the main causes of loss and high rates of dropout in E-learning. It impacts on their levels of participation, satisfaction and learning. To overcome this feeling of isolation, we aim, by this research, to provide the trainer and each learner with an environment allowing them to behave as if being face to face; in other words, to approach the pedagogy of classroom teaching. Our contribution to reduce the feeling of isolation is to ensure the presence of the teacher in the educational tools. These tools aim to establish a real dialogue with the learner, forcing him to take an active part in their learning. Among the tools we offer, video conference Openmeeting integrated in Moodle providing the possibility of using the notion of class and whiteboard, the indicator of motivation quantification tool based hand gesture that we developed and finally social networks web 2. 0 like Facebook, youtube, twitter to promote collaboration, sharing and communication of the learner with his peers.

If, in addition, each row and column sum of $A$ equals $r$, then $λ$ is said to be doubly stochastically realizable and in such case $A$ is said to be a doubly stochastic realization for $λ$. In 1997, Guo proved that if $\left(λ_2,\ldots, λ_n\right)$ is any list of complex numbers which is closed under complex conjugation then there exists a least real number $λ_0$ with $\max\limits_{2\leq j\leq n}|λ_j|\leqλ_0\leq 2n\max\limits_{2\leq j\leq n}|λ_j|$ such that the list of complex numbers $\{ λ_1,λ_2,...,λ_n\}$ is realizable if and only if $λ_1\geq λ_0$. In 2020, Julio and Soto showed that the upper bound may be reduced to $(n-1)\max\limits_{2\leq j\leq n}|λ_j|$ in the case when at least one of the $λ_i$ is real.
In this paper, we first describe an algorithm for passing from a nonnegative realization to a doubly stochastic realization. As applications, we give a new sufficient condition for a stochastic matrix $A$ to be cospectral to a doubly stochastic matrix $B$ and in this case $B$ is shown to be the unique closest doubly stochastic matrix to $A$ with respect to the Frobenius norm. Then, our next results slightly improve the upper bound for the nonnegative realization presented by Julio and Soto and in the case when none of the $λ_i$ is real, we also give an improvement of Guo's bound. Then, for doubly stochastic realizations, we obtain an upper bound that improves Guo's bound as well. Finally, for certain particular cases, we give a further improvement of our last bound for doubly stochastic realization.

A symmetric doubly stochastic matrix A is said to be determined by its spectra if the only symmetric doubly stochastic matrices that are similar to A are of the form $P^TAP$ for some permutation matrix P. The problem of characterizing such matrices is considered here. An almost the same but a more difficult problem was proposed by [ M. Fang, A note on the inverse eigenvalue problem for symmetric doubly stochastic matrices, Lin. Alg. Appl., 432 (2010) 2925-2927] as follows: Characterize all n-tuples $λ= (1,λ_2,...,λ_n)$ such that up to a permutation similarity, there exists a unique symmetric doubly stochastic matrix with spectrum $λ.$ In this short note, some general results concerning our two problems are first obtained. Then, we completely solve these two problems for the case n = 3. Some connections with spectral graph theory are then studied. Finally, concerning the general case, two open questions are posed and a conjecture is introduced.
