Abstract:
In this paper, we study the multipartite entanglement properties of graph states up to seven qubits. Our analysis shows that the generalized concurrence measure is more efficient than geometric entanglement measure for measuring entanglement quantity in the multi-qubit graph states.

Calculation of entanglement in graph states up to five-qubit based on generalized concurrence

Abstract:
We propose a new classification for the entanglement in graph states based on generalized con- currence. The numerical results indicate that the eight different three-qubit graph states in three categories, 64 four-qubit graph states in five categories and 1024 five-qubit graph states are in ten classes. We also compare this classification with equivalence classes of these graph states under local…

We propose a new classification for the entanglement in graph states based on generalized con- currence. The numerical results indicate that the eight different three-qubit graph states in three categories, 64 four-qubit graph states in five categories and 1024 five-qubit graph states are in ten classes. We also compare this classification with equivalence classes of these graph states under local complementation (LC) operator, and the obtained result suggests that classification by generalized concurrence is not in contradiction with the LC-rule.

Abstract:
A new air shower experiment of the Alborz Observatory, Alborz-I, located at the Sharif University of Technology, Iran, will be constructed in near future. An area of about 30$\times$40 m$^{2}$ will be covered by 20 plastic scintillation detectors (each with an area of 50$\times$50 cm$^{2}$). A series of experiments have been performed to optimize the height of light enclosures of the detectors for…

A series of experiments have been performed to optimize the height of light enclosures of the detectors for this array and the results have been compared to an extended code simulation of these detectors. Operational parameters of the detector obtained by this code are cross checked by Geant4 simulation. There is a good agreement between extended-code and Geant4 simulations. We also present further discussions on the detector characteristics, which can be applicable for all scintillation detectors with a similar configuration.

A Generalization of Cover Free Families
Authors:

Abstract:
An (r;w; d) -cover-free family (CFF) is a family of subsets of a finite set such that the intersection of any r members of the family contains at least d elements that are not in the union of any other w members. The minimum number of elements for which there exists an (r;w; d)-CFF with t blocks is denoted by N((r;w; d); t). In this paper, we determine the exact value of N((r;w; d); t) for some sp…

In this paper, we determine the exact value of N((r;w; d); t) for some special parameters. Also, we present two constructions for (2; 1; d)- CFF and (2; 2; d)-CFF which improve the existing constructions. Moreover, we introduce a generalization of cover-free families which is motivated by an application of CFF in the key predistribution schemes. Also, we investigate some properties and bounds on the parameters of this generalization.
