Theory of non-Gaussianity in warm inflation
Abstract: The theory and methodology is developed to compute the bispectrum in warm inflation, leading to results for the non-linearity parameter and the shape of the bispectrum. Particular attention is paid to the study of the bispectrum in the regime of weak dissipation and how stochastic fluctuations affect the bispectrum. It is shown that, in contrast to the strong dissipative regime, the amplitude of n… ▽ More

Damped Electromagnetic fluctuations in the early universe?
Abstract: This short note considers the effects of quantum theory on the linear evolution of the magnetic fields during and after inflation. The analysis appears to show that the magnetic fields decay exponentially in the high-temperature radiation era due to a combination of ohmic dissipation and vacuum polarisation.

Interpolating local constants in families
Abstract: We extend the theory of local constants to l-adic families of representations of GL_n(F) where F is a p-adic field with l not equal to p. Black holes as bubble nucleation sites
Abstract: We consider the effect of inhomogeneities on the rate of false vacuum decay. Modelling the inhomogeneity by a black hole, we construct explicit Euclidean instantons which describe the nucleation of a bubble of true vacuum centred on the inhomogeneity. We find that inhomogeneity significantly enhances the nucleation rate over that of the Coleman-de Luccia instanton -- the black hole acts as a nucle… ▽ More

Abstract: In the context of quantum field theory, an anomaly exists when a theory has a classical symmetry which is not a symmetry of the quantum theory. Monopole Black Hole Skyrmions
Abstract: Charged black hole solutions with pion hair are discussed. These can be used to study monopole black hole catalysis of proton decay. There also exist multi- black hole skyrmion solutions with BPS monopole behavior.
