Tuning the intermediate reaction barriers by CuPd catalyst to improve the selectivity of electroreduction CO2 to C2 products
Abstract: Electrochemical CO2 reduction is a promising strategy for utilization of CO2 and intermittent excess electricity. Cu is the only single-metal catalyst that can electrochemically convert CO2 to multi-carbon products. However, Cu has an undesirable selectivity and activity for C2 products, due to its insufficient amount of CO* for C-C coupling. Considering the strong CO2 adsorption and ultra-fast re… ▽ More

A remark on conductor, depth and principal congruence subgroups
Abstract: In this paper we study a relation between conductor, depth, and the level of principal congruence subgroups for irreducible admissible representations of ${\rm GL}_n(F)$ for a non-archimedean local field $F$ of characteristic zero. Some global and local applications are also discussed.

Semisimple types for p-adic classical groups
Abstract: We construct, for any symplectic, unitary or special orthogonal group over a locally compact nonarchimedean local field of odd residual characteristic, a type for each Bernstein component of the category of smooth representations, using Bushnell--Kutzko's theory of covers. Moreover, for a component corresponding to a cuspidal representation of a maximal Levi subgroup, we prove that the Hecke algeb… ▽ More

An explicit computation of p-stabilized vectors
Abstract: In this paper, we give a method to compute p-stabilized vectors in the space of parahori-fixed vectors for connected reductive groups over p-adic fields. The application to the global setting is also discussed. In particular, we give an explicit p-stabilized form of a Saito-Kurokawa lift.

On L-factors attached to generic representations of unramified U(2,1)
Abstract: Let G be the unramified unitary group in three variables defined over a p-adic field of odd residual characteristic. In this paper, we establish a theory of newforms for the Rankin-Selberg integral for G introduced by Gelbart and Piatetski-Shapiro. We describe L and epsilon-factors defined through zeta integrals in terms of newforms. We show that zeta integrals of newforms for generic representati… ▽ More

Local newforms and formal exterior square L-functions
Abstract: Let F be a non-archimedean local field of characteristic zero. Jacquet and Shalika attached a family of zeta integrals to unitary irreducible generic representations $π$ of GL_n(F). In this paper, we show that Jacquet-Shalika integral attains a certain L-function, so called the formal exterior square L-function, when the Whittaker function is associated to a newform for $π$. By consideration on th… ▽ More

Whittaker functions associated to newforms for GL(n) over p-adic fields
Abstract: Let F be a non-archimedean local field of characteristic zero. Jacquet, Piatetski-Shapiro and Shalika introduced the notion of newforms for irreducible generic representations of GL_n(F). In this paper, we give an explicit formula for Whittaker functions associated to newforms on the diagonal matrices in GL_n(F).

Conductors and newforms for non-supercuspidal representations of unramified U(2,1)
Abstract: Let G be the unramified unitary group in three variables defined over a p-adic field with odd p. The conductors and newforms for representations of G are defined by using a certain family of open compact subgroups of G. In this paper, we determine the conductors of non-supercuspidal representations of G, and give explicit newforms in induced representations for non-supercuspidal generic representa… ▽ More

On epsilon factors attached to supercuspidal representations of unramified U(2,1)
Abstract: Let G be the unramified unitary group in three variables defined over a p-adic field F of odd resudual characteristic. Gelbart, Piatetski-Shapiro and Baruch attached zeta integrals of Rankin-Selberg type to irreducible generic representations of G. In this paper, we formulate a conjecture on L- and epsilon-factors defined through zeta integrals in terms of local newforms for G, which is an analogu… ▽ More

On local newforms for unramified U(2,1)
Abstract: Let G be the unramified unitary group in three variables defined over a p-adic field F of odd residual characteristic. In this paper, we investigate local newforms for irreducible admissible representations of G. We introduce a family of open compact subgroups {K_n} of G to define the local newforms for representations of G as the K_n-fixed vectors. We prove the existence of local newforms for gen… ▽ More

On self-dual simple types of $p$-adic classical groups
Abstract: Let $G$ be a classical group over a non-Archimedean local field of odd residual characteristic. Using recent work of S. Stevens, we define a certain kind of semisimple stratum, called good, and show that it provides a simple type in $G$ which is an analogue of the simple type for $GL(N,F)$ defined by Bushnell and Kutzko. Furthermore, we define a self-dual simple type in $G$.
