Detection of easily missed hidden patterns with fast processing power makes machine learning (ML) indispensable to today's healthcare system. Though many ML applications have already been discovered and many are still under investigation, only a few have been adopted by current healthcare systems. As a result, there exists an enormous opportunity in healthcare system for ML but distributed information, scarcity of properly arranged and easily explainable documentation in related sector are major impede which are making ML applications difficult to healthcare professionals. This study aimed to gather ML applications in different areas of healthcare concisely and more effectively so that necessary information can be accessed immediately with relevant references. We divided our study into five major groups: community level work, risk management/ preventive care, healthcare operation management, remote care, and early detection. Dividing these groups into subgroups, we provided relevant references with description in tabular form for quick access. Our objective is to inform people about ML applicability in healthcare industry, reduce the knowledge gap of clinicians about the ML applications and motivate healthcare professionals towards more machine learning based healthcare system.

Conventional wisdom suggests that large-scale refugees pose security threats to the host community or state. With massive influx of Rohingyas in Bangladesh in 2017 resulting a staggering total of 1.6 million Rohingyas, a popular discourse emerged that Bangladesh would face severe security threats. This article investigates the security experience of Bangladesh in case of Rohingya influx over a three-year period, August 2017 to August 2020. The research question I intend to address is, 'has Bangladesh experienced security threat due to massive Rohingya influx?' If so in what ways? I test four security threat areas: societal security, economic security, internal security, and public security. I have used newspaper content analysis over past three years along with interview data collected from interviewing local people in coxs bazar area where the Rohingya camps are located. To assess if the threats are low level, medium level, or high level, I investigated both the frequency of reports and the way they are interpreted. I find that Bangladesh did not experience any serious security threats over the last three years. There are some criminal activities and offenses, but these are only low-level security threat at best. My research presents empirical evidence that challenges conventional assertions that refugees are security threats or challenges to the host states.

Recent event of ousting Rohingyas from Rakhine State by the Tatmadaw provoked worldwide public-and-academic interest in history and social evolution of the Rohingyas, and this is to what the article is devoted. As the existing literature presents a debate over Who are the Rohingyas?, and How legitimate is their claim over Rakhine State?, the paper reinvestigates the issues using a qualitative research method. Compiling a detailed history, the paper finds that Rohingya community developed through historically complicated processes marked by invasions and counter-invasions. The paper argues many people entered Bengal from Arakan before British brought people into Rakhine state. The Rohingyas believe Rakhine State is their ancestral homeland and they developed a sense of Ethnic Nationalism. Their right over Rakhine State is as significant as other groups. The paper concludes that the UN must pursue solution to the crisis and the government should accept the Rohingyas as it did the land or territory.
