This study simulates strange stars in $f(Q)$ gravity with an additional source under an electric field using gravitational decoupling and the complete Gravitational Decoupling (CGD) technique. By employing the Tolman ansatz and the MIT bag model equation of state (EOS), we explore bounded star configurations derived from the $θ_0^0 = ρ$ and $θ_1^1 = p_r$ sectors within the CGD formalism. Our models are subjected to physical viability tests, and we analyze the impact of anisotropy and the electric charge parameter $E_0$ as well as the coupling parameters $α$ and $β_1$. Comparisons are made with observational constraints, including GW190814, neutron stars PSR J1614-2230, PSR J1903+6620, Cen X-3 and LMC X-4. Notably, we achieve the presence of a lower "\textit{mass gap}" component by adjusting parameters $α$ and $β_1$. Our models exhibit well-behaved mass profiles, internal regularity, and stability, with the absence of gravitational collapse verified through the Buchdahl--Andréasson's limit. In addition, we present a detailed physical analysis based on three parameters, $α$ (decoupling strength), $β_1$ ($f(Q)$--coupling) and $Q$ (surface charge). This study provides insights into the behavior of compact objects in $f(Q)$ gravity and expands our understanding of strange star configurations within this framework.

Inspired by the conundrum of the gravitational event, GW190814 which brings to light the coalescence of a 23 $ M_{\odot}$ black hole with a yet to be determined secondary component, we look to modelling compact objects within the framework of $f(\mathcal{Q})$ gravity by employing the method of gravitational decoupling. We impose a quadratic equation of state (EOS) for the interior matter distribution which in the appropriate limit reduces to the MIT bag model. The governing field equations arising from gravitational decoupling bifurcates into the $ρ=θ^0_0$ and $p_r=θ^1_1$ sectors leading to two distinct classes of solutions. Both families of solutions are subjected to rigorous tests qualifying them to describe a plethora of compact objects including neutron stars, strange stars and the possible progenitor of the secondary component of GW190814. Using observational data of mass-radius relations for compact objects LMC X-4, Cen X-3, PSR J1614-2230 and PSR J0740+6620 we show that it is possible to generate stellar masses and radii beyond 2.0 $ M_{\odot}$ for neutron stars. Our findings reveal that the most { suitable and versatile model in this framework is the quadratic EOS}, which accounts for a range of low mass stars as well as typical stellar candidates describing the secondary component of GW190814.

Both $D_{sJ}^-$ states are identified through their decay into $\bar{K}\bar{D}^{(*)}$. We measure the products of branching fractions ${\cal B}(Υ(2S) \to D_{s}^{(*)+} D_{sJ}^-) {\cal B}(D_{sJ}^-\to \bar{K} \bar{D}^{(*)})$ and the Born cross sections $σ^{\rm Born}(e^+e^- \to D_{s}^{(*)+} D_{sJ}^-) {\cal B}(D_{sJ}^-\to \bar{K} \bar{D}^{(*)})$, and then compare the ratios $R_1 \equiv {\cal B}(Υ(2S)\to D_{s}^{(*)+} D_{sJ}^-)/{\cal B}(Υ(2S)\toμ^{+}μ^-)$ for $Υ(2S)$ decays and $R_2 \equiv σ^{\rm Born}(e^+e^-\to D_{s}^{(*)+}D_{sJ}^-)/σ^{\rm Born}(e^+e^-\to μ^{+}μ^-)$ for continuum production. We obtain $R_1/R_2 = 9.7\pm 2.3 \pm 1.1$, $6.8 \pm 2.1 \pm 0.8$, $10.2 \pm 3.3 \pm 2.5$, and $3.4 \pm 2.1 \pm 0.5$ for the $D_s^+ D_{s1}(2536)^-$, $D_s^{*+} D_{s1}(2536)^-$, $D_s^+ D_{s2}^{*}(2573)^{-}$, and $D_s^{*+} D_{s2}^{*}(2573)^{-}$ final states in the $D_{sJ}^-\to K^{-} \bar{D}^{(*)0}$ modes, respectively. Therefore, the strong decay is expected to dominate in the $Υ(2S)\to D_{s}^{(*)+}D_{sJ}^-$ processes. We also measure the ratios of branching fractions ${\cal B}(D_{s1}(2536)^-\to K_S^0 D^{*}(2010)^{-})/{\cal B}(D_{s1}(2536)^-\to K^{-} D^{*}(2007)^0) = 0.48 \pm 0.07 \pm 0.02$ and ${\cal B}(D_{s2}^{*}(2573)^- \to K_S^0 D^-)/{\cal B}(D_{s2}^{*}(2573)^- \to K^{-}D^0) = 0.49 \pm 0.10 \pm 0.02$, which are consistent with isospin symmetry. The second ratio is the first measurement of this quantity. Here, the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic.

This paper introduces a novel cosmological model aimed at probing the accelerated expansion of the late Universe through a unique parametrization of the deceleration parameter. We aim to constrain key cosmic parameters by integrating recent measurements of the Hubble parameter obtained from various observational methods, including cosmic chronometers, Type Ia Supernovae, Gamma-Ray Bursts (GRB), Quasars, and baryon acoustic oscillations (BAO) from recent galaxy surveys. With a redshift range spanning (0.106 < z < 2.33) and incorporating the latest Hubble constant measurement from Riess in 2022, our analysis yields optimal fit values for the Hubble parameter $H_{0}$ and sound horizon $r_{d}$. Notably, we uncover an inconsistency in $H_{0}$ values derived from late-time observational measurements, reflecting the well-known $H_{0}$ tension. In terms of $r_{d}$, while there is close agreement between Joint analysis and Joint analysis with R22, discrepancies arise upon gradual inclusion of BAO and BAO with R22 datasets. Our model demonstrates excellent fit to observed data and aligns well with the standard $Λ$CDM paradigm at higher redshifts. However, its most intriguing aspect lies in predicting a super-accelerated expansion in the distant future, in contrast to the de Sitter phase predicted by $Λ$CDM. Additionally, unique behaviors in the jerk parameter hint at novel dynamics beyond traditional cosmological models. Statefinder and $O_{m}$ Diagnostics tests were conducted, and comparison using the Akaike information criterion indicates neither model can be ruled out based on the latest observational measurements. These findings propose our cosmological model as a compelling alternative to $Λ$CDM, offering fresh insights into dark energy's nature and the cosmos' future.

These decays are sensitive to the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa unitarity-triangle angle $φ_{3}$. The results are based on a combined analysis of the final data set of $772 \times 10^6~B\bar{B}$ pairs collected by the Belle experiment and a data set of $198 \times 10^6~B\bar{B}$ pairs collected by the Belle~II experiment, both in electron-positron collisions at the $Υ(4S)$ resonance. We measure the $CP$ asymmetries to be $\mathcal{ A}_{CP +} =~(+12.5 \pm 5.8 \pm 1.4)\% $ and $\mathcal{ A}_{CP -} =~(-16.7 \pm 5.7 \pm 0.6)\%$, and the ratios of branching fractions to be $\mathcal{ R}_{CP+}=~1.164 \pm 0.081 \pm 0.036 $ and $\mathcal{ R}_{CP-} =~1.151 \pm 0.074 \pm 0.019$. The first contribution to the uncertainties is statistical, and the second is systematic. The asymmetries $\mathcal{A}_{CP +}$ and $\mathcal{A}_{CP -}$ have similar magnitudes and opposite signs; their difference corresponds to 3.5~standard deviations. From these values we calculate 68.3\% confidence intervals of ($8.5^{\circ}<φ_{3}<16.5^{\circ}$) or ($84.5^{\circ}<φ_{3}<95.5^{\circ}$) or ($163.3^{\circ}<φ_{3}<171.5^{\circ}$) and $0.321<r_{B}<0.465$.

We report the first search for a non-standard-model resonance decaying into $τ$ pairs in $e^{+}e^{-}\rightarrow μ^{+}μ^{-} τ^+τ^-$ events in the 3.6-10 GeV/$c^{2}$ mass range. We use a 62.8 fb$^{-1}$ sample of $e^+e^-$ collisions collected at a center-of-mass energy of 10.58 GeV by the Belle II experiment at the SuperKEKB collider. The analysis probes three different models predicting a spin-1 particle coupling only to the heavier lepton families, a Higgs-like spin-0 particle that couples preferentially to charged leptons (leptophilic scalar), and an axion-like particle, respectively. We observe no evidence for a signal and set exclusion limits at 90% confidence level on the product of cross section and branching fraction into $τ$ pairs, ranging from 0.7 fb to 24 fb, and on the couplings of these processes. We obtain world-leading constraints on the couplings for the leptophilic scalar model for masses above 6.5 GeV/$c^2$ and for the axion-like particle model over the entire mass range.

This work investigates the impacts of energy-momentum conservation violation on the configuration of strange stars constraint with gravitational wave (GW) event GW190814 as well as eight recent observations of compact objects. The GW echoes from these interesting classes of compact objects are also calculated. To describe the matter of strange stars, we have used two different equations of state (EoSs): first an ad-hoc exotic EoS, the stiffer MIT Bag model and next realistic CFL phase of quark matter EoS. We choose Rastall gravity as a simple model with energy-momentum conservation violation with a set of model parameter values. Our results show that this gravity theory permits stable solutions of strange stars and the resulting structures can foster GW echoes. We illustrate the implication of the gravity theory and found that the negative values of the Rastall parameter result in more compact stellar configurations and lower GW echo frequency. With an increase in the Rastall parameter, both the compactness of the stellar configurations and echo time decrease. It is worth mentioning here that with the chosen set of some probable strange star candidates from observational data and also in light of GW 190814, we have evaluated the radii of stellar models. Also, the GW echo frequencies associated with strange stars are found to be in the range of {$\approx 9-27$ kHz} for both cases. {From this work, it is also inferred that the assumption regarding the equivalence of Rastall's theory to Einstein's theory is refuted as we have noticed many deviations in the physical properties of the considered compact stars.

The lifetime is determined by fitting the decay-time distribution of a sample of $116\times 10^3$ $D_s^+\rightarrowφπ^+$ decays. Our result is $τ^{}_{D^+_s} = (499.5\pm 1.7\pm 0.9)$ fs, where the first uncertainty is s…

No evident signal of the double charmonium state is found, but evidence for the $e^+e^-\rightarrowη_c J/ψ$ process is found with a statistical significance greater than $3.3σ$ near the $η_c J/ψ$ threshold. The average cross section near the threshold is measured and upper limits of cross sections are set for other regions.

Our analysis is based on 980 $\rm fb^{-1}$ of data collected by the Belle detector at the KEKB energy-asymmetric $e^+e^-$ collider. Our results for the $T$-odd $C\!P$-violating parameter $a^{T\text{-odd}}_{C\!P}$ are: $a^{T\text{-odd}}_{C\!P}({D^{+}\to K^{-}K^{+}π^{+}π^{0}}) = (+2.6\pm 6.6\pm 1.3 )\times10^{-3}$, $a^{T\text{-odd}}_{C\!P}({D^{+}\to K^{+}π^{-}π^{+}π^{0}}) = (-1.3\pm 4.2\pm 0.1 )\times10^{-2}$, $a^{T\text{-odd}}_{C\!P}({D^{+}\to K^{-}π^{+}π^{+}π^{0}}) = (+0.2\pm 1.5\pm 0.8 )\times10^{-3}$, $a^{T\text{-odd}}_{C\!P}({D_s^{+}\to K^{+}π^{-}π^{+}π^{0}}) = (-1.1\pm 2.2\pm 0.1 )\times10^{-2}$, and $a^{T\text{-odd}}_{C\!P}({D_s^{+}\to K^{-}K^{+}π^{+}π^{0}}) = (+2.2\pm 3.3\pm 4.3 )\times10^{-3}$, where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively. These results are the first such measurements and are all consistent with zero. They include the first measurement for a $D^+_s$ singly Cabibbo-suppressed decay, and the first measurement for a $D$ meson doubly Cabibbo-suppressed decay. We also measure $a^{T\text{-odd}}_{C\!P}$ in different subregions of phase space, where the decays are dominated by different intermediate resonance states such as $D^+\toφρ^+$, $\bar{K}^{*0}K^{*+}$, and $\bar{K}^{*0}ρ^+$; and $D_s^+\to K^{*+}ρ^{0}$, $K^{*0}ρ^{+}$, $φρ^+$, and $\bar{K}^{*0}K^{*+}$. No evidence for $C\!P$ violation is found.

We present a measurement of the branching fractions of four $B^{0,-}\to D^{(*)+,0} K^- K^{0}_S$ decay modes. The measurement is based on data from SuperKEKB electron-positron collisions at the $Υ(4S)$ resonance collected with the Belle II detector and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of ${362~\text{fb}^{-1}}$. The event yields are extracted from fits to the distributions of the difference between expected and observed $B$ meson energy to separate signal and background, and are efficiency-corrected as a function of the invariant mass of the $K^-K_S^0$ system. We find the branching fractions to be: \[ \text{B}(B^-\to D^0K^-K_S^0)=(1.89\pm 0.16\pm 0.10)\times 10^{-4}, \] \[ \text{B}(\overline B{}^0\to D^+K^-K_S^0)=(0.85\pm 0.11\pm 0.05)\times 10^{-4},\] \[ \text{B}(B^-\to D^{*0}K^-K_S^0)=(1.57\pm 0.27\pm 0.12)\times 10^{-4}, \] \[ \text{B}(\overline B{}^0\to D^{*+}K^-K_S^0)=(0.96\pm 0.18\pm 0.06)\times 10^{-4},\] where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. We propose a new algorithm for the identification of the production flavor of neutral $D$ mesons in the Belle II experiment. The algorithm exploits the correlation between the flavor of a reconstructed neutral $D$ meson (signal $D$ meson) and the electric charges of particles reconstructed in the rest of the $e^+e^-\to c \bar{c}$ event. These include those originating from the decay of the other charm hadron produced in the event, as well as those possibly produced in association with the signal $D$ meson. We develop the algorithm using simulation and calibrate it in data using decay modes that identify the flavor of the decaying neutral $D$ meson. We use a data sample of $e^+e^-$ collisions, corresponding to $362\,\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ of integrated luminosity, collected by Belle II at center-of-mass energies near the $Υ(4S)$ mass. The effective tagging efficiency in data is $(47.91 \pm 0.07 \mathrm{(stat)} \pm 0.51 \mathrm{(syst)})\%$, independent of the neutral-$D$-meson decay mode. This charm flavor tagger will approximately double the effective sample size of many $CP$-violation and charm-mixing measurements that so far have exclusively relied on neutral $D$ mesons originating from $D^{*\pm}$ decays. While developed for Belle II, the basic principles underlying the charm flavor tagger can be used in other experiments, including those at hadron colliders.

The first simultaneous determination of the absolute value of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element $V_{ub}$ using inclusive and exclusive decays is performed with the full Belle data set at the $Υ(4S)$ resonance, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 711 fb${}^{-1}$. We analyze collision events in which one $B$ meson is fully reconstructed in hadronic modes. This allows for the reconstruction of the hadronic $X_u$ system of the semileptonic $b \to u \ell \bar ν_\ell$ decay. We separate exclusive $B \to π\, \ell\, \bar ν_{\ell}$ decays from other inclusive $B \to X_u \, \ell\, \bar ν_{\ell}$ and backgrounds with a two-dimensional fit, that utilizes the number of charged pions in the $X_u$ system and the four-momentum transfer $q^2$ between the $B$ and $X_u$ system. Combining our measurement with information from lattice QCD and QCD calculations of the inclusive partial rate as well as external experimental information on the shape of the $B \to π\, \ell\, \bar ν_{\ell}$ form factor, we determine $\left|V_{ub}^{\mathrm{excl.}} \right| = (3.78 \pm 0.23 \pm 0.16 \pm 0.14)\times 10^{-3}$ and $\left|V_{ub}^{\mathrm{incl.}} \right| = (3.88 \pm 0.20 \pm 0.31 \pm 0.09)\times 10^{-3}$, respectively, with the uncertainties being the statistical error, systematic errors, and theory errors. The ratio of $\left|V_{ub}^{\mathrm{excl.}} \right| / \left|V_{ub}^{\mathrm{incl.}} \right| = 0.97 \pm 0.12$ is compatible with unity.

The method is based on the reconstruction of the $μ^- \to e^- \barν_eν_μ$ decay-in-flight in the Belle central drift chamber and relies on the correlation between muon spin and its daughter electron momentum. We study the main sources of the background that can imitate the signal decay, such as kaon and pion decays-in-flight and charged particle scattering on the detector material. Highly efficient methods of their suppression are developed and applied to select 165 signal-candidate events. We obtain $ξ^\prime=0.22\pm0.94\pm0.42$ where the first uncertainty is statistical, and the second one is systematic. The result is in agreement with the Standard Model prediction of $ξ^\prime=1$.

We report the first measurement of the Michel parameter $ξ^\prime$ in the $τ^-\toμ^-\barν_μν_τ$ decay with a new method proposed just recently. The measurement is based on the reconstruction of the $τ^-\toμ^-\barν_μν_τ$ events with subsequent muon decay-in-flight in the Belle central drift chamber. The analyzed data sample of $988\,\text{fb}^{-1}$ collected by the Belle detector corresponds to approximately $912\times10^6$ $τ^+ τ^-$ pairs. We measure $ξ^\prime=0.22\pm0.94(\text{stat})\pm0.42(\text{syst})$, which is in agreement with the standard model prediction of $ξ^\prime=1$. Statistical uncertainty dominates in this study, being a limiting factor, while systematic uncertainty is well under control. Our analysis proved the practicability of this promising method and its prospects for further precise measurement in future experiments.

We present a study of the $X(3872)$ lineshape in the decay $B \to X(3872)K\to D^0\overline{D}{}^{*0}K$ using a data sample of $772\times 10^6$ $B\overline{B}$ pairs collected at the $Υ(4S)$ resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy $e^+e^-$ collider. The peak near the threshold in the $D^0\overline{D}{}^{*0}$ invariant mass spectrum is fitted using a relativistic Breit-Wigner lineshape. We determine the mass and width parameters to be $m = 3873.71 ^{+0.56}_{-0.50} ({\rm stat}) \pm0.13 ({\rm syst}) ~{\rm MeV}/c^2$ and $Γ_0 = 5.2 ^{+2.2}_{-1.5} ({\rm stat}) \pm 0.4 ({\rm syst})~{\rm MeV}$, respectively. The branching fraction is found to be ${\cal B} (B^+\to X(3872)K^+) \times {\cal{B}}(X(3872) \to D^0\overline{D}{}^{*0}) = (0.97 ^{+0.21}_{-0.18} ({\rm stat}) \pm 0.10 ({\rm syst})) \times 10^{-4}$. The signal from $B^0$ decays is observed for the first time with $5.2σ$ significance, and the ratio of branching fractions between charged and neutral $B$ decays is measured to be ${\cal B}(B^0\to X(3872)K^0)/{\cal B}(B^+ \to X(3872)K^+) = 1.34^{+0.47}_{-0.40} ({\rm stat}) ^{+0.10}_{-0.12} ({\rm syst})$. The peak is also studied using a Flatté lineshape. We determine the lower limit on the $D\overline{D}{}^{*}$ coupling constant $g$ to be $0.075$ at 95% credibility in the parameter region where the ratio of $g$ to the mass difference from the $D^0\overline{D}{}^{*0}$ threshold is equal to $-15.11~{\rm GeV}^{-1}$, as measured by LHCb.

We update the analysis of $τ$ lepton decays into a light charged lepton ($\ell$ = $e^{\pm}$ or $μ^{\pm}$) and a vector meson ($V^0$ = $ρ^0$, $φ$, $ω$, $K^{\ast0}$, or $\overline{K}{}^{\ast0}$) using 980 fb$^{-1}$ of data collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB collider. No significant excess of such signal events is observed, and thus 90% credibility level upper limits are set on the $τ\rightarrow \ell V^0$ branching fractions in the range of (1.7--$4.3) \times 10^{-8}$. These limits are improved by 30% on average from the previous results.

The search uses electron-positron collisions at $10.58$ GeV center-of-mass energy with an integrated luminosity of $62.8$ fb$^{-1}$, produced by the SuperKEKB collider and collected with the Belle II detector. We search for an excess in the lepton-energy spectrum of the known $τ^-\to e^-\barν_e ν_τ$ and $τ^-\to μ^-\barν_μν_τ$ decays. We report 95\% confidence-level upper limits on the branching-fraction ratio ${\mathcal B}(τ^-\to e^- α) / {\mathcal B}(τ^- \to e^- \barν_e ν_τ)$ in the range $(1.1-9.7) \times 10^{-3}$ and on ${\mathcal B}(τ^-\to μ^- α) / {\mathcal B}(τ^- \to μ^- \barν_μν_τ)$ in the range $(0.7-12.2) \times 10^{-3}$ for $α$ masses between 0 and 1.6 GeV/c$^2$. These results provide the most stringent bounds on invisible boson production from $τ$ decays.

Signal decays are identified using full reconstruction of the recoil $B$ meson in hadronic final states. We determine the total branching fractions via fits to the distributions of the square of the "missing" mass in the event and the dipion mass in the signal candidate and find ${\mathcal{B}(B^0\toρ^-\ell^+ ν_\ell) = (4.12 \pm 0.64(\mathrm{stat}) \pm 1.16(\mathrm{syst})) \times 10^{-4}}$ and ${\mathcal{B}({B^+\toρ^0\ell^+ν_\ell}) = (1.77 \pm 0.23 (\mathrm{stat}) \pm 0.36 (\mathrm{syst})) \times 10^{-4}}$ where the dominant systematic uncertainty comes from modeling the nonresonant $B\to (ππ)\ell^+ν_\ell$ contribution.

This work is devoted to provide a way of representing $4D$ spherically symmetric and static compact stellar configurations into a $5D$ space time, using the black string framework.
We write the four and five dimensional line elements and the four and five dimensional energy momentum tensor such that the four and five dimensional quantities are related by a function $A(z)$, where $z$ represents to the extra dimension. Remarkably, one consequence of our chosen form for the line element, for the energy momentum tensor and for $A(z)$, is the fact that the $5D$ equations are reduced to the usual form of the four dimensional equations of motion. Also, the five dimensional conservation equation adopts the form of the four dimensional conservation equation. It is worth mentioning that, although our methodology is simple, this form of reduction could serve to represent other types of four dimensional objects into an extra dimension in future works. Furthermore, under our assumptions the sign of the pressure along the extra dimension is given by the trace of the four dimensional energy momentum tensor.
Furthermore, our simple election for the function $A(z)$ modifies some features of the induced 4--dimensional compact stellar configuration, such as the mass--radius relation, the momentum of inertia, the central values of the thermodynamic variables, to name a few. Besides, the topology of this model is ${S}^{2}\times {S}^{1}$ and not the ${S}^{3}$ topology of the 5--dimensional structures.

Using the data sample of 980 fb$^{-1}$ collected with the Belle detector operating at the KEKB asymmetric-energy $e^+e^-$ collider, we present the results of an investigation of the $Λπ^+$ and $Λπ^-$ invariant mass distributions looking for substructure in the decay $Λ_c^+\rightarrowΛπ^+π^+π^-$. We find a significant signal in each mass dis\ tribution. When interpreted as resonances, we find for the $Λπ^+$ ($Λπ^-$) combination a mass of $1434.3 \pm 0.6 (\mathrm{stat}) \pm 0.9(\mathrm{syst})$ MeV/$c^2$ [$1438.5 \pm 0.9 (\mathrm{stat}) \pm 2.5(\mathrm{syst})$ MeV/$c^2$], an intrinsic width of $11.5 \pm 2.8 (\mathrm{stat}) \pm 5.3(\mathrm{syst})$ MeV/$c^2$ [$33.0 \pm 7.5 (\mathrm{stat}) \pm 23.6(\mathrm{syst})$ MeV/$c^2$] with a significance of 7.5$σ$ (6.2$σ$). As these two signals are very close to the $\bar{K}N$ threshold, we also investigate the possibility of a $\bar{K}N$ cusp, and find that \ we cannot discriminate between these two interpretations due to the limited size of the data sample.

In this work, we present the Einstein field equations (EFE) in the framework of a modified matter source and thus find out the solutions for the Wormhole. To obtain characteristic solutions set, we employ two kinds of equations of states (EOS), i.e., the van der Waals and polytropic EOS to the EFE. We adopt embedding class as a general technique for the system and discuss several physical attributes of the stellar system under embedded wormhole solutions. Detailed discussion about the matter contents of the thin-shell developed around the obtained wormhole solutions in the background of Schwarzschild BH surrounded by cloud and quintessence-type fluid distribution by using a well-known cut and paste approach. We have also performed stability analysis using the linearized radial perturbation method for the van der Waals EOS and polytropic EOS. Several interesting points have evolved from the entire investigation along with the features of the thin shell around the wormhole.

We present a study of a singly Cabibbo-suppressed decay $Λ_c^+\to{}pK_S^0K_S^0$ and a Cabibbo-favored decay $Λ_c^+\to{}pK_S^0η$ based on 980 $\rm fb^{-1}$ of data collected by the Belle detector, operating at the KEKB energy-asymmetric $e^+e^-$ collider. We measure their branching fractions relative to $Λ_c^+\to{}pK_S^0$: $\mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\to{}pK_S^0K_S^0)/\mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\to{}pK_S^0)={(1.48 \pm 0.08 \pm 0.04)\times 10^{-2}}$ and $\mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\to{}pK_S^0η)/\mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\to{}pK_S^0)={(2.73\pm 0.06\pm 0.13)\times 10^{-1}}$. Combining with the world average $\mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\to{}pK_S^0)$, we have the absolute branching fractions: $\mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\to{}pK_S^0K_S^0) = {(2.35\pm 0.12\pm 0.07 \pm 0.12 )\times 10^{-4}}$ and $\mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\to{}pK_S^0η) = {(4.35\pm 0.10\pm 0.20 \pm 0.22 )\times 10^{-3}}$. The first and second uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively, while the third ones arise from the uncertainty on $\mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\to{}pK_S^0)$. The mode $Λ_c^+\to{}pK_S^0K_S^0$ is observed for the first time and has a statistical significance of $>\!10σ$. The branching fraction of $Λ_c^+\to{}pK_S^0η$ has been measured with a threefold improvement in precision over previous results and is found to be consistent with the world average.

To recreate the cosmological models, we employed the parametrization approach in modified teleparallel Gauss-Bonnet gravity. It has been interesting to apply the parametrization approach to investigate cosmological models. The real benefit of using this method is that the observational data may be incorporated to examine the cosmological models. Several cosmological parameters were examined, such as the Hubble parameter (H), the deceleration parameter (q), and the equation of state (EoS) parameter (w). The results obtained are consistent with recent cosmological findings in the conventional scenario. A transition scenario from a decelerating stage to an accelerating stage of cosmic evolution has been observed. The EoS parameter is also in the quintessence phase, which drives the accelerating expansion of the Universe. Also, we look at the violation of strong energy condition, which has become inevitable in the context of modified gravitational theory. Finally, we have performed the Om(z) diagnostic and also obtained the age of the Universe by using the data from the cosmological observations.

In the present work we have investigated a new anisotropic solution for polytropic star in the framework of $4D$ Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet (EGB) gravity. The possibility of determining the masses and radii of compact stars which puts some limitations on equation of state (EoS) above the nuclear saturation density. For this purpose, the $4D$ EGB field equations are solved by taking a generalized polytropic equation of state (EoS) with Finch-Skea ansatz. The generalized solution for anisotropic model has been tested for different values of Gauss-Bonnet constant $α$ which satisfies all the physical criteria including causality with static stability via mass vs central mass density ($M-ρ_c$), Bondi and Abreu criterion. The adiabatic index shows a minor influence of the GB coupling constant whereas the central and surface redshifts in the EGB gravity always remain lower than the GR. We present the possibility of fitting the mass and radius for some known compact star via $M-R$ curve which satisfies the recent gravitational wave observations from GW 170817 event.

Abstract:
Using a data sample of 980 fb$^{-1}$ collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy $e^+e^-$ collider, we study for the first time the singly Cabibbo-suppressed decays $Ω^0_c\toΞ^{-}π^{+}$ and $Ω^-K^+$ and the doubly Cabibbo-suppressed decay $Ω^0_c\to Ξ^- K^{+}$. Evidence for an $Ω^0_c$ signal in the $Ω^0_c\toΞ^-π^+$ mode is reported with a significance of $4.5σ$ including systema…

Evidence for an $Ω^0_c$ signal in the $Ω^0_c\toΞ^-π^+$ mode is reported with a significance of $4.5σ$ including systematic uncertainties. The ratio of branching fractions to the normalization mode $Ω_c^0\to Ω^-π^+$ is measured to be $${\cal B}(Ω_{c}^{0} \to Ξ^{-} π^{+} )/{\cal B}(Ω_c^0\to Ω^-π^+)=0.253\pm 0.053({\rm stat.})\pm 0.030({\rm syst.}).$$ No significant signals of $Ω^0_c\toΞ^-K^+$ and $Ω^-K^+$ modes are found. The upper limits at $90\%$ confidence level on ratios of branching fractions are determined to be $${\cal B}(Ω_{c}^{0} \to Ξ^{-} K ^{+})/{\cal B}(Ω_c^0\to Ω^-π^+) < 0.070$$ and $${\cal B}(Ω_{c}^{0} \to Ω^{-}K^{+})/{\cal B}(Ω_c^0\to Ω^-π^+) < 0.29.$$
