$ hp $-version collocation method for a class of nonlinear Volterra integral equations of the first kind
Abstract: In this paper, we present a collocation method for nonlinear Volterra integral equation of the first kind. This method benefits from the idea of $hp$-version projection methods. We provide an approximation based on the Legendre polynomial interpolation. The convergence of the proposed method is completely studied and an error estimate under the $L^2$-norm is provided. Finally, several numerical ex… ▽ More

Direct numerical scheme for all classes of nonlinear Volterra integral equations of the first kind
Abstract: This paper presents a direct numerical scheme to approximate the solution of all classes of nonlinear Volterra integral equations of the first kind. This computational method is based on operational matrices and vectors. The operational vector for hybrid block pulse functions and Chebyshev polynomials is constructed. The scheme transforms the integral equation to a matrix equation and solves it wi… ▽ More

Approximation solution of two-dimensional linear stochastic Volterra integral equation by applying the Haar wavelet
Abstract: Numerical solution of one-dimensional stochastic integral equations because of the randomness has its own problems, i.e. some of them no have analytically solution or finding their analytic solution is very difficult. This problem for two-dimensional equations is twofold. Thus, finding an efficient way to approximate solutions of these equations is an essential requirement. To begin this important… ▽ More
