Unitary coupled channel analysis of the $Λ(1520)$ resonance
Abstract: We study the $Λ(1520)$ resonance in a coupled channel approach involving the $πΣ(1385)$, $KΞ(1530)$, $\bar{K}N$ and $πΣ$ channels. Implementing unitarity in coupled channels, we make an analysis of the relative importance of the different mechanisms which contribute to the dynamical structure of this resonance. Evidence for two Lambda(1405) resonance states
Abstract: The $K^- p \to π^0 π^0 Σ^0$ reaction is studied within a chiral unitary model. Chiral dynamics of the $Λ(1520)$ in coupled channels tested in the $K^-p\toππΛ$ reaction
Abstract: The $Λ(1520)$ resonance is generated dynamically in a unitary coupled channel framework with the $πΣ^*$ and $KΞ^*$ channels in s-wave and $πΣ$ and $\bar K N$ channels in d-wave. The dynamics of this resonance close to and above threshold is then tested through the reactions $K^-p\toππΛ$ and a good agreement with the experimentally measured cross section is observed.

Freeze out in narrow and wide layers
Abstract: The freeze out of particles from a layer of finite thickness is discussed in a phenomenological kinetic model. The source of elliptic flow and initial conditions for hydrodynamical calculations
Abstract: A model for energy, pressure and flow velocity distributions at the beginning of relativistic heavy ion collisions is presented, which can be used as initial condition for hydrodynamical calculations. The results show that QGP forms a tilted disk, such that the direction of the largest pressure gradient stays in the reaction plane, but deviates from both the beam and the usual transverse flow di… ▽ More

Freeze-out in hydrodynamical models in relativistic heavy ion collisions
Abstract: Freeze-out of particles across 3-dimensional space-time hypersurface with space-like normal is discussed in a simple kinetic model. The final momentum distribution of emitted particles shows a non-exponential transverse momentum spectrum, which is in quantitative agreement with recently measured SPS pion and $h^-$ spectra.

Large $p_t$ enhancement from freeze out
Abstract: Freeze out of particles across three dimensional space-time hypersurface is discussed in a simple kinetic model. The final momentum distribution of emitted particles, for freeze out surfaces with space-like normal, shows a non-exponential transverse momentum spectrum. The slope parameter of the $p_t$ distribution increases with increasing $p_t$, in agreement with recently measured SPS pion and… ▽ More

Fixed-Angle Elastic Hadron Scattering
Abstract: The scattering amplitude in the dual model with Mandelstam analyticity and trajectory $α(s)=α_{0}-γ\ln [ (1+β\sqrt{s_{0} -s})/(1+ β\sqrt{s_{0}})]$ is studied in the limit $s,|t|\to \infty, s/t=const.$ By using the saddle point method, a series decomposition for the scattering amplitude is obtained, with the leading and two sub-leading terms calculated explicitly.

Kinetic freeze out
Abstract: Freeze out of particles across a space-time hypersurface is discussed in kinetic models. The calculation of final momentum distribution of emitted particles is described for freeze out surfaces, with spacelike normals. The resulting non-equilibrium distribution does not resemble, the previously proposed, cut Juttner distribution, and shows non-exponential p_t-spectra similar to the ones observed… ▽ More

Non-ideal Particle Distributions from Kinetic Freeze Out Models
Abstract: In fluid dynamical models the freeze out of particles across a three dimensional space-time hypersurface is discussed. The calculation of final momentum distribution of emitted particles is described for freeze out surfaces, with both space-like and time-like normals, taking into account conservation laws across the freeze out discontinuity.
