Based on the resource theory for quantifying the coherence of quantum channels, we introduce a new coherence quantifier for quantum channels via maximum relative entropy. We prove that the maximum relative entropy for coherence of quantum channels is directly related to the maximally coherent channels under a particular class of superoperations, which results in an operational interpretation of the maximum relative entropy for coherence of quantum channels. We also introduce the conception of sub-superchannels and sub-superchannel discrimination. For any quantum channels, we show that the advantage of quantum channels in sub-superchannel discrimination can be exactly characterized by the maximum relative entropy of coherence for quantum channels. Similar to the maximum relative entropy of coherence for channels, the robustness of coherence for quantum channels has also been investigated. We show that the maximum relative entropy of coherence for channels provides new operational interpretations of robustness of coherence for quantum channels and illustrates the equivalence of the dephasing-covariant superchannels, incoherent superchannels, and strictly incoherent superchannels in these two operational tasks.

Genuine multipartite entanglement plays important roles in quantum information processing. The detection of genuine multipartite entanglement has been long time a challenging problem in the theory of quantum entanglement. We propose a criterion for detecting genuine tripartite entanglement of arbitrary dimensional tripartite states based on quantum Fisher information. We show that this criterion is more effective for some states in detecting genuine tripartite entanglement by detailed example.

Abstract:
We provide a characterization of multiqubit entanglement monogamy and polygamy constraints in terms of negativity. For the case $α<0$, we give the corresponding polygamy and monogamy relations for SCREN and SCRENoA, respectively. We also show that these new inequalities give rise to tighter constraints than the existing ones.

We investigate the distinguishability of coherence-breaking channels with the help of quantum entanglement. By explicitly computing the minimal error probability of channel discrimination, it is shown that entanglement can enhance the capacity of coherence-breaking channel distinguishability with same types for some cases while cannot enhanced for some other cases. For coherence-breaking channels with different types, the channel distinguishability cannot be enhanced via entanglement.

We introduce a quantity called the coherence of purification which can be a measure of total quantumness for a single system. We prove that coherence of purification is always more than the coherence of the system. For a pure state, the coherence of purification is same as the relative entropy of coherence. Furthermore, we show that the difference in the coherence of purification of a quantum state before and after the dephasing can capture residual quantumness. In addition, we show that the entanglement of purification that can be created by incoherent operation between two subsystems is upper bounded by the coherence of purification of the original system. We show that the coherence of purification is a resource in quantum state discrimination process. In the absence of coherence, entanglement and quantum correlations, the coherence of purification may play an important role in quantum information processing tasks.

We study the entanglement-breaking channels and present the necessary and sufficient conditions for a quantum channel to an entanglement-breaking one for qubit systems. Furthermore, a concept of strong entanglement-breaking channel is introduced. The amendment of entanglement-breaking channels is also studied.

Quantum coherence is one of the most significant theories in quantum physics. Ordering states with various coherence measures is an intriguing task in quantification theory of coherence. In this paper, we study this problem by use of four important coherence measures -- the $l_1$ norm of coherence, the relative entropy of coherence, the geometric measure of coherence and the modified trace distance measure of coherence. We show that each pair of these measures give a different ordering of qudit states when $d\geq 3$. However, for single-qubit states, the $l_1$ norm of coherence and the geometric coherence provide the same ordering. We also show that the relative entropy of coherence and the geometric coherence give a different ordering for single-qubit states. Then we partially answer the open question proposed in [Quantum Inf. Process. 15, 4189 (2016)] whether all the coherence measures give a different ordering of states.
