Abstract:
The cross sections of the $e^{+}e^{-}\toφη'$ process at center-of-mass energies from 3.508 to 4.951 GeV are measured with high precision using 26.1 fb$^{-1}$ data collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII storage ring. The cross sections of the $e^{+}e^{-}\toφη'$ process at center-of-mass energies from 3.508 to 4.951 GeV are measured with high precision using 26.1 fb$^{-1}$ data collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII storage ring. The cross sections are of the order of a few picobarn, and decrease as the center-of-mass energy increases as $s^{-n/2}$ with $n=4.35\pm 0.14$. This result is in agreement with the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model prediction of $n=3.5\pm 0.9$. In addition, the charmless decay $ψ(3770)\toφη'$ is searched for by fitting the measured cross sections, yet no significant signal is observed. The upper limit of ${\cal B}(ψ(3770)\toφη')$ at the 90\% confidence level is determined to be $2.3\times 10^{-5}$.

Abstract:
We report the measurement of the inclusive cross sections for $e^+e^-$$\rightarrow$nOCH (where nOCH denotes non-open charm hadrons) with improved precision at center-of-mass (c.m.) energies from 3.645 to 3.871 GeV. We observe three resonances: $\mathcal R(3760)$, $\mathcal R(3780)$, and $\mathcal R(3810)$ with significances of $8.1σ$, $13.7σ$, and $8.8σ$, respectively. The $\mathcal R(3810)$ state…

The $\mathcal R(3810)$ state is observed for the first time, while the $\mathcal R(3760)$ and $\mathcal R(3780)$ states are observed for the first time in the nOCH cross sections. Two sets of resonance parameters describe the energy-dependent line shape of the cross sections well. In set I [set II], the $\mathcal R(3810)$ state has mass $(3805.7 \pm 1.1 \pm 2.7)$ [$(3805.7 \pm 1.1 \pm 2.7)$] MeV/$c^2$, total width $(11.6 \pm 2.9 \pm 1.9)$ [$(11.5 \pm 2.8 \pm 1.9)$] MeV, and an electronic width multiplied by the nOCH decay branching fraction of $(10.9\pm 3.8\pm 2.5)$ [$(11.0\pm 3.4\pm 2.5)$] eV. In addition, we measure the branching fractions ${\mathcal B}[{\mathcal R}(3760)$$\rightarrow$nOCH$]=(25.2 \pm 16.1 \pm 30.4)\% [(6.4 \pm 4.8 \pm 7.7)\%]$ and ${\mathcal B}[\mathcal R(3780)$$\rightarrow$nOCH$]=(12.3 \pm 6.6 \pm 8.3)\% [(10.4 \pm 4.8 \pm 7.0)\%]$ for the first time. The $\mathcal R(3760)$ state can be interpreted as an open-charm (OC) molecular state, but containing a simple four-quark state component. The $\mathcal R(3810)$ state can be interpreted as a hadrocharmonium state.

We study the process $e^{+}e^{-}\toΛ_{c}^{+}\barΛ_c^{-}$ at twelve center-of-mass energies from $4.6119$ to $4.9509~\mathrm{GeV}$ using data samples collected by the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider. The Born cross sections and effective form factors ($|G_{\mathrm{eff}}|$) are determined with unprecedented precision after combining the single and double-tag methods based on the decay process $Λ_{c}^{+}\to pK^{-}π^{+}$. Flat cross sections around $4.63~\mathrm{GeV}$ are obtained and no indication of the resonant structure $Y(4630)$, as reported by Belle, is found. In addition, no oscillatory behavior is discerned in the $|G_{\mathrm{eff}}|$ energy-dependence of $Λ_{c}^{+}$, in contrast to what is seen for the proton and neutron cases. Analyzing the cross section together with the polar-angle distribution of the $Λ_{c}^{+}$ baryon at each energy point, the moduli of electric and magnetic form factors ($|G_{E}|$ and $|G_{M}|$) are extracted and separated. For the first time, the energy-dependence of the form factor ratio $|G_{E}/G_{M}|$ is observed, which can be well described by an oscillatory function.

Combining with the world average of ${\mathcal B}(D^+_s\to φe^+ν_e)$, the ratio of the branching fractions obtained is$\frac{{\mathcal B}(D^+_s\to φμ^+ν_μ)}{{\mathcal B}(D^+_s\to φe^+ν_e)} = 0.94\pm0.08$, in agreement with lepton universality. By performing a partial wave analysis, the hadronic form factor ratios at $q^{2}=0$ are extracted, finding $r_{V}=\frac{V(0)}{A_{1}(0)}=1.58\pm0.17\pm0.02$ and $r_{2}=\frac{A_{2}(0)}{A_{1}(0)}=0.71\pm0.14\pm0.02$, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic. No significant $S$-wave contribution from $f_0(980)\to K^+K^-$ is found. The upper limit $\mathcal{B}(D_s^+\to f_0(980)μ^{+}ν_μ) \cdot{\mathcal B}(f_0(980)\to K^+K^-) < 5.45 \times 10^{-4}$ is set at 90\% confidence level.

The branching fractions obtained are $\mathcal{B}(D_s^+ \to ηe^{+} ν_e)$ = $(2.255\pm0.039_{\rm stat}\pm 0.051_{\rm syst})\%$ and $\mathcal{B}(D_s^+ \to η^{\prime} e^{+} ν_e)$ = $(0.810\pm0.038_{\rm stat}\pm 0.024_{\rm syst})\%$. Combining these results with the $\mathcal{B}(D^+\toηe^+ ν_e)$ and $\mathcal{B}(D^+\toη^\prime e^+ ν_e)$ obtained from previous BESIII measurements, the $η-η^\prime$ mixing angle in the quark flavor basis is determined to be $φ_{\rm P} = (40.0\pm2.0_{\rm stat}\pm0.6_{\rm syst})^\circ$. Moreover, from the fits to the partial decay rates of $D_s^+ \to ηe^+ ν_e$ and $D_s^+ \to η^\prime e^+ ν_e$, the products of the hadronic transition form factors $f_+^{η^{(\prime)}}(0)$ and the modulus of the $c\to s$ Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element $|V_{cs}|$ are determined by using different hadronic transition form factor parametrizations. Based on the two-parameter series expansion, the products $f^η_+(0)|V_{cs}| = 0.4519\pm0.0071_{\rm stat}\pm0.0065_{\rm syst}$ and $f^{η^\prime}_+(0)|V_{cs}| = 0.525\pm0.024_{\rm stat}\pm0.009_{\rm syst}$ are extracted. All results determined in this work supersede those measured in the previous BESIII analyses based on the 3.19 fb$^{-1}$ subsample of data at 4.178 GeV.

Tests of lepton flavor universality using $Λ_c^+\rightarrow Λ\ell^+ν_{\ell}$ ($\ell=e, μ$) decays are reported for the first time, based on measurements of the differential decay rates and the forward-backward asymmetries in separate four-momentum transfer regions. The results are compatible with Standard Model predictions. Furthermore, we improve the determination of the form-factor parameters in $Λ_c^+\rightarrow Λ\ell^+ν_{\ell}$ decays, which provide stringent tests and calibration for lattice quantum chromodynamics (LQCD) calculations.

The spin and parity of the charmed mesons $D_{s}^{*+}$, $D^{*0}$ and $D^{*+}$ are determined for the first time to be $J^P=1^{-}$ with significances greater than 10$σ$ over other hypotheses of $2^{+}$ and $3^{-}$, using an $e^+e^-$ collision data sample with an integrated luminosity of 3.19 fb$^{-1}$ collected by the BESIII detector at a center-of-mass energy of 4.178 GeV. Different spin-parity hypotheses for $D_{s}^{*+}$, $D^{*0}$, and $D^{*+}$ mesons are tested via a helicity amplitude analysis of the processes $e^+e^-\to D^{*+}_{s}D^{-}_{s}$, $D^{*0}D^{0}$ and $D^{*+}D^{-}$, with $D^{*+}_{s}\to D^{+}_{s} γ$, $D^{*0}\to D^{0}π^{0}$, and $D^{*+}\to D^{+}π^{0}$. The results confirm the quark model predictions.

From these measurements, precise $CP$ symmetry tests in $Ξ^0$ decay are performed, and $A^Ξ_{CP} = (-5.4 \pm 6.5 \pm 3.1) \times 10^{-3}$ and $Δφ^Ξ_{CP} = (-0.1 \pm 6.9 \pm 0.9) \times 10^{-3}$~rad are consistent with $CP$ conservation. The sequential decay also enables a separation of weak and strong phase differences, which are found for the first time to be $ξ_{P}-ξ_{S} = (0.0 \pm 1.7 \pm 0.2) \times 10^{-2}$~rad and $δ_{P}-δ_{S} = (-1.3 \pm 1.7 \pm 0.4)\times 10^{-2}$~rad, respectively. In addition, we measure the $Λ$ decay parameters and test $CP$ symmetry in $Λ$ decays.

The $C\!P$-odd weak decay parameters of the decays $Σ^{+} \to n π^{+}$ ($α_{+}$) and $\barΣ^{-} \to \bar{n} π^{-}$ ($\barα_{-}$) are determined to be $-0.0565\pm0.0047_{\rm stat}\pm0.0022_{\rm syst}$ and $0.0481\pm0.0031_{\rm

The simultaneously determined decay parameters allow the first precision $C\!P$ symmetry test for any hyperon decay with a neutron in the final state with the measurement of $A_{C\!P}=(α_{+}+\barα_{-})/(α_{+}-\barα_{-})=-0.080\pm0.052_{\rm

We observe the $f_{0}(980)$ in the $π^+π^-$ system and the branching fraction of the decay $D_{s}^{+} \to f_{0}(980)e^{+}ν_{e}$ with $f_0(980)\toπ^+π^-$ is measured to be $(1.72 \pm 0.13_{\rm stat} \pm 0.10_{\rm syst}) \times10^{-3}$, where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively. The dynamics of the $D_{s}^{+} \to f_{0}(980)e^{+}ν_{e}$ decay are studied with the simple pole parameterization of the hadronic form factor and the Flatté formula describing the $f_0(980)$ in the differential decay rate, and the product of the form factor $f^{f_0}_{+}(0)$ and the $c\to s$ Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element $|V_{cs}|$ is determined for the first time to be $f^{f_0}_+(0)|V_{cs}|=0.504\pm0.017_{\rm stat}\pm0.035_{\rm syst}$.

The branching fraction of $D_s^+\to τ^+ν_τ$ is determined to be $(5.44\pm0.17_{\rm stat}\pm0.13_{\rm syst})\%$. The product of the $D_s^+$ decay constant $f_{D_s^+}$ and the CKM matrix element $|V_{cs}|$ is $f_{D_s^+}|V_{cs}| = (248.3\pm3.9_{\rm stat}\pm3.1_{\rm syst}\pm1.0_{\rm input})~\mathrm{MeV}$. Combining with the $|V_{cs}|$ value obtained from the Standard Model global fit or the $f_{D_s^+}$ from the lattice quantum chromodynamics, we determine $|V_{cs}| = 0.993\pm0.015_{\rm stat}\pm0.012_{\rm syst}\pm0.004_{\rm input}$ and $f_{D_s^+} = (255.0\pm4.0_{\rm stat}\pm3.2_{\rm syst}\pm1.0_{\rm input})~\text{MeV}$. The first uncertainty is statistical, the second one is systematic and the third one is due to the input parameters, mainly the lifetime of $D_s^+$. All results obtained in this work supersede the BESIII previous results based on 6.32 fb$^{-1}$ of $e^+e^-$ collision data taken at center-of-mass energies between $4.178$ and $4.226$~GeV.

Combining this branching fraction with the world averages of the measurements of the masses of $τ^+$ and $D_s^+$ as well as the lifetime of $D_s^+$, we extract the product of the decay constant of $D_s^+$ and the $c\to s$ Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element to be $f_{D_s^+}|V_{cs}|=(246.2\pm3.7_{\rm stat}\pm2.5_{\rm syst})~\mathrm{MeV}$. Taking $|V_{cs}|$ from a global fit in the standard model we obtain $f_{D_s^+}=(252.7\pm3.8_{\rm stat}\pm2.6_{\rm syst})$ MeV. Conversely, taking $f_{D_s^+}$ from lattice quantum chromodynamics calculations, we obtain $|V_{cs}| = 0.984\pm0.015_{\rm stat}\pm0.010_{\rm syst}$.

In addition, evidence of a resonance state in $e^+e^-\to π^+π^-ω$ production is found. The mass of this state obtained by line shape fitting is about 4.2 GeV/$c^2$, which is consistent with the production of $ψ(4160)$ or $Y(4220)$.

α_{\barΞ^0})$ $= -0.007$ $\pm$ 0.082 $\pm$ 0.025 and $Δφ^{Ξ^0}_{CP} = (φ_{Ξ^0} + φ_{\barΞ^0})/2$ $= -0.079$ $\pm$ 0.082 $\pm$ 0.010 rad, which are consistent with $CP$ conservation.

Abstract:
A precision measurement of the matrix elements for $η\toπ^+π^-π^0$ and $η\toπ^0π^0π^0$ decays is performed using a sample of $(10087\pm44)\times10^6$ $J/ψ$ decays collected with the BESIII detector. The decay $J/ψ\to γη$ is used to select clean samples of 631,686 $η\toπ^+π^-π^0$ decays and 272,322 $η\toπ^0π^0π^0$ decays. The decay $J/ψ\to γη$ is used to select clean samples of 631,686 $η\toπ^+π^-π^0$ decays and 272,322 $η\toπ^0π^0π^0$ decays. The matrix elements for both channels are in reasonable agreement with previous measurements. The non-zero $gX^2Y$ term for the decay mode $η\toπ^+π^-π^0$ is confirmed, as reported by the KLOE Collaboration, while the other higher-order terms are found to be insignificant. Dalitz plot asymmetries in the $η\toπ^+π^-π^0$ decay are also explored and are found to be consistent with charge conjugation invariance. In addition, a cusp effect is investigated in the $η\toπ^0π^0π^0$ decay, and no obvious structure around the $π^+π^-$ mass threshold is observed.

A new mechanism has been proposed to simultaneously explain the presence of dark matter and the matter-antimatter asymmetry in the universe. This scenario predicts exotic $B$ meson decays into a baryon and a dark sector anti-baryon ($ψ_D$) with branching fractions accessible at $B$ factories. We present a search for $B \rightarrow Λψ_D$ decays using data collected by the $BABAR$ experiment at SLAC. This reaction is identified by fully reconstructing the accompanying $B$ meson and requiring the presence of a single $Λ$ baryon in the remaining particles. No significant signal is observed, and bounds on the $B \rightarrow Λψ_D$ branching fraction are derived in the range $0.13 - 5.2\times 10^{-5}$ for $1.0 < m_{ψ_D} < 4.2$ GeV/$c^{2}$. These results set strong constraints on the parameter space allowed by the theory.

The first and third resonances are consistent with the $ψ(4230)$ and $ψ(4660)$ states, respectively, while the second one is compatible with the $ψ(4500)$ observed in the $e^{+}e^{-}\to K^{+}K^{-}J/ψ$ process. These three charmoniumlike $ψ$ states are observed in $e^{+}e^{-}\to D^{*0}D^{*-}π^{+}$ process for the first time.

We present a study of the resonant structure of the decay $D^0 \to K_{\rm L}^0π^+π^-$, using quantum-correlated $D^0\bar{D}^0$ data produced at $\sqrt{s}=3.773$ GeV. The data sample was collected by the BESIII experiment and corresponds to an integrated luminosity of $2.93$ fb$^{-1}$. This study is the first amplitude analysis of a decay mode involving a $K_{\rm L}^0$, which also results in the first measurement of the complex $\textit{U-spin breaking parameters}$ ($\hatρ$) related to various $\mathit{CP}$-eigenstate resonant modes through which the three-body decay proceeds. The moduli of the $\hatρ$ parameters have central values in a wide range from $0.4$ to $12.1$, which indicates substantial U-spin symmetry breaking. We present the fractional resonant contributions and average strong-phase parameters over regions of phase space for both $K_{\rm S}^0π^+π^-$ and $K_{\rm L}^0π^+π^-$ modes. We also report the ratio of the branching fractions between $K_{\rm L}^0π^+π^-$ and $K_{\rm S}^0π^+π^-$ decay modes and the $\mathit{CP}$-even fraction of the $K_{\rm L}^0π^+π^-$ state calculated using the U-spin breaking parameters.

We present the first measurements of the electric and magnetic form factors of the neutron in the time-like (positive $q^2$) region as function of four-momentum transfer. We explored the differential cross sections of the reaction $e^+e^- \rightarrow \bar{n}n$ with data collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII accelerator, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 354.6 pb$^{-1}$ in total at twelve center-of-mass energies between $\sqrt{s} = 2.0 - 2.95$ GeV. A relative uncertainty of 18% and 12% for the electric and magnetic form factors, respectively, is achieved at $\sqrt{s} = 2.3935$ GeV. Our results are comparable in accuracy to those from electron scattering in the comparable space-like (negative $q^2$) region of four-momentum transfer. The electromagnetic form factor ratio $R_{\rm em}\equiv |G_E|/|G_M|$ is within the uncertainties close to unity. We compare our result on $|G_E|$ and $|G_M|$ to recent model predictions, and the measurements in the space-like region to test the analyticity of electromagnetic form factors.

Abstract:
A determination of the $C\!P$-even fraction $F_+$ in the decay $D^0 \to K^+K^-π^+π^-$ is presented. Using $2.93$ fb$^{-1}$ of $e^+e^-\toψ(3770)\to D\bar{D}$ data collected by the BESIII detector, one charm meson is reconstructed in the signal mode and the other in a $C\!P$ eigenstate or the decay $D\to K_{S, L}^0π^+π^-$. Analysis of the relative rates of these double-tagged events yields the result $F_+ = 0.730 \pm 0.037 \pm 0.021$, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. This is the first model-independent measurement of $F_+$ in $D^0 \to K^+K^-π^+π^-$ decays.

Abstract:
The first direct measurement of the absolute branching fraction of $Σ^+ \to Λe^+ ν_{e}$ is reported based on an $e^+e^-$ annihilation sample of $(10087\pm44) \times 10^6$ $J/ψ$ events collected with the BESIII detector at $\sqrt{s}=3.097$ GeV. The branching fraction is determined to be ${\mathcal B}(Σ^+ \to Λe^+ ν_{e}) = [2.93\pm0.74(\rm stat) \pm 0.13(\rm syst)]\times 10^{-5}$, which is the most…

The branching fraction is determined to be ${\mathcal B}(Σ^+ \to Λe^+ ν_{e}) = [2.93\pm0.74(\rm stat) \pm 0.13(\rm syst)]\times 10^{-5}$, which is the most precise measurement obtained in a single experiment to date and also the first result obtained at a collider experiment. Combining this result with the world average of ${\mathcal B}(Σ^- \to Λe^- \barν_{e})$ and the lifetimes of $Σ^{\pm}$, the ratio, $\frac{Γ(Σ^- \to Λe^- \barν_{e})}{Γ(Σ^+ \to Λe^+ ν_{e})}$, is determined to be $1.06 \pm 0.28$, which is within 1.8 standard deviations of the value expected in the absence of second-class currents that are forbidden in the Standard Model.

Using $4.5 \mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ of $e^+e^-$ annihilation data samples collected at center-of-mass energies ranging from 4.600 to 4.698 GeV with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider, we measured the absolute branching fraction for the inclusive semileptonic decay $Λ_c^+\rightarrow Xe^+ν_e$, where $X$ refers to any possible particle system. The branching fraction of the decay is determined to be $\mathcal{B}({\it Λ}^+_c\rightarrow Xe^+ν_e)=(4.06\pm0.10_{\rm stat.}\pm0.09_{\rm syst.})\%$. Our result improves the precision of previous measurement of $\mathcal{B}({\it Λ}^+_c\rightarrow Xe^+ν_e)$ by more than threefold. Using the known $Λ_c^+$ lifetime and the charge-averaged semileptonic decay width of nonstrange charmed mesons, we measure the ratio of inclusive semileptonic decay widths $Γ(Λ_c^+\rightarrow X e^+ν_e)/\barΓ(D\rightarrow Xe^+ν_e)=1.28\pm0.05$, where statistical and systematic uncertainties are combined.
