A multidimensional study of the structure function ratio $σ_{LT'}/σ_{0}$ from hard exclusive $π^+$ electro-production off protons in the GPD regime
Abstract: A multidimensional extraction of the structure function ratio $σ_{LT'}/σ_{0}$ from the hard exclusive $\vec{e} p \to e^\prime n π^+$ reaction above the resonance region has been performed. The study was done based on beam-spin asymmetry measurements using a 10.6 GeV incident electron beam on a liquid-hydrogen target and the CLAS12 spectrometer at Jefferson Lab. The measurements focus on the very f… ▽ More

Unique Access to u-Channel Physics: Exclusive Backward-Angle Omega Meson Electroproduction
Abstract: Backward-angle meson electroproduction above the resonance region, which was previously ignored, is anticipated to offer unique access to the three quark plus sea component of the nucleon wave function. In this letter, we present the first complete separation of the four electromagnetic structure functions above the resonance region in exclusive omega electroproduction off the proton, e + p -> e'… ▽ More

Hard exclusive pion electroproduction at backward angles with CLAS
Abstract: We report on the first measurement of cross sections for exclusive deeply virtual pion electroproduction off the proton, $e p \to e^\prime n π^+$, above the resonance region at backward pion center-of-mass angles. The $\varphi^*_π$-dependent cross sections were measured, from which we extracted three combinations of structure functions of the proton. Our results are compatible with calculations ba… ▽ More

Unitarity constraints on neutral pion electroproduction
Abstract: At large virtuality $Q^2$, the coupling to the vector meson production channels provides us with a natural explanation of the surprisingly large cross section of the neutral pion electroproduction recently measured at Jefferson Laboratory, without destroying the good agreement between the Regge pole model and the data at the real photon point. Elastic rescattering of the $π^0$ provides us with a w… ▽ More

Photodisintegration of $^4$He into p+t
Abstract: The two-body photodisintegration of $^4$He into a proton and a triton has been studied using the CEBAF Large-Acceptance Spectrometer (CLAS) at Jefferson Laboratory. Real photons produced with the Hall-B bremsstrahlung-tagging system in the energy range from 0.35 to 1.55 GeV were incident on a liquid $^4$He target. This is the first measurement of the photodisintegration of $^4$He above 0.4 GeV.… ▽ More

Unitary constraints on Deeply Virtual Compton Scattering
Abstract: At moderately low momentum transfer (-t up to 1 GeV^2) the coupling to the vector meson production channels gives the dominant contribution to real Compton and deeply virtual Compton scattering (DVCS). Starting from a Regge Pole approach that successfully describes vector meson production, the singular part of the corresponding box diagrams (where the intermediate vector meson-baryon pair propag… ▽ More

Rescattering in Meson Photoproduction off Few Body Systems
Abstract: Exclusive reactions induced at high momentum transfer in few body systems provide us with an original way to study the production and propagation of hadrons in cold nuclear matter. In very well defined parts of the phase space, the reaction amplitude develops a logarithmic singularity. It is on solid ground since it depends only on on-shell elementary amplitudes and on low momentum components of… ▽ More

The electro-disintegration of few body systems revisited
Abstract: Recent studies of the electro-disintegration of the few body systems at JLab have revived the field. Not only recoil momentum distributions have been determined in a single shot. But also they confirm that the diagrammatic approach, which I developed 25 years ago, is relevant to analyze them, provided that the Nucleon-Nucleon scattering amplitude, determined in the same energy range, is used. Exclusive electromagnetic production of strangeness on the nucleon : review of recent data in a Regge approach
Abstract: In view of the numerous experimental results recently released, we provide in this letter an update on the performance of our simple Regge model for strangeness electroproduction on the nucleon. Without refitting any parameters, a decent description of all measured observables and channels is achieved. We also give predictions for spin transfer observables, recently measured at Jefferson Lab whi… ▽ More

Real and Virtual Compton Scattering in a Regge Approach
Abstract: We study Real and Deeply Virtual Compton Scattering in a model based on Regge trajectories and two-gluon exchange. In the kinematic regime of current experiments, the hadronic component of the outgoing real photon plays a major role. We analyze the spin structure of Compton scattering at large momentum transfer and give predictions for several spin asymmetries. In the DVCS channel, a fairly good… ▽ More

The photoproduction of vector mesons
Abstract: At high energy, the photoproduction or electroproduction of Vector Mesons allow to prepare a beam of quark-antiquark pairs of a given flavor. At high momentum transfer, the study of the scattering of these pairs on a nucleon opens up an original window on the quark-gluon structure of hadronic matter, which may eventually shed light on its gluonic content, on correlations between quarks and on th… ▽ More

Quark correlations and gluon propagators in elastic vector meson production
Abstract: We study the behavior of the differential cross section for vector meson photoproduction at large momentum transfer in the two-gluon exchange model. We focus on the treatment of two-quark correlation function in the proton and on gluon propagators with a dynamically generated mass. We find that only the large t region is sensitive to the particular details of these inputs.

Strangeness Production by Electromagnetic and Hadronic Probes
Abstract: After pioneering works on hypernuclei, strangeness production mechanisms have been studied in hadron collisions and photoreactions in the sixties. Recent experiments at SATURNE and COSY, in the hadronic sector, as well as ELSA and JLab, in the electromagnetic sector, have confirmed our basic ideas on the reaction mechanisms. In the near future, strangeness production at JLab, HERMES and COMPASS… ▽ More
