X-ray scattering study of GaN nanowires grown on Ti/Al$_{2}$O$_{3}$ by molecular beam epitaxy
Abstract: GaN nanowires (NWs) grown by molecular beam epitaxy on Ti films sputtered on Al$_{2}$O$_{3}$ are studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and grazing incidence small-angle X-ray scattering (GISAXS). XRD, performed both in symmetric Bragg reflection and at grazing incidence, reveals Ti, Ti$_{3}$O, Ti$_{3}$Al, and TiO$_x$N$_y$ crystallites with in-plane and out-of-plane lattice parameters intermediate bet… ▽ More

Investigation of the Nd$_2$O$_3$--Lu$_2$O$_3$--Sc$_2$O$_3$ phase diagram for the preparation of perovskite-type mixed crystals NdLu$_{1-x}$Sc$_x$O$_3$
Abstract: Based on differential thermal analysis (DTA) and X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), a description of the system Nd$_2$O$_3$--Lu$_2$O$_3$--Sc$_2$O$_3$ was obtained by thermodynamic assessment. Four fields of primary crystallization could be identified; from melt compositions close to the Lu$_2$O$_3$--Sc$_2$O$_3$ edge the rare-earth oxide C-phase crystallizes first, which is stable down to room tempera… ▽ More

Crystal growth and characterization of the pyrochlore Tb$_2$Ti$_2$O$_7$
Abstract: Terbium titanate (Tb$_2$Ti$_2$O$_7$) is a spin-ice material with remarkable magneto-optical properties. It has a high Verdet constant and is a promising substrate crystal for the epitaxy of quantum materials with the pyrochlore structure. Large single crystals with adequate quality of Tb$_2$Ti$_2$O$_7$ or any pyrochlore are not available so far. Here we report the growth of high-quality bulk cryst… ▽ More

Ce3+:CaSc2O4 Crystal Fibers for Green Light Emission: Growth Issues and Characterization
Abstract: Ce3+ is known to show broad optical emission peaking in the green spectral range. For the stabilization of 3-valent cerium in ceramic phosphors such as calcium scandate CaSc2O4, often co-do** with sodium for charge compensation is performed (Na+, Ce3+ = 2 Ca2+). At the melting point of CaSc2O4 (ca. 2110 deg C), however, alkaline oxides evaporate completely and co-do** is thus no option for cry… ▽ More

$ψ$-Appell polynomials` solutions of an umbral difference nonhomogeneous equation
Abstract: One discovers why the solution of generalized umbral calculus difference nonhomogeneous equation in the form recently proposed by the author extends here now to generalized appellian delta operator and corresponding polynomials case almost automatically. The reason for that is just the proper framework of the generalized finite operator calculus recently being developed by the present author.

On $ψ$-basic bernoulli-wardian polynomials
Abstract: The wardian solution of any $ψ$-difference linear nonhomogeneous equation is found in the framework of the generalized finite operator calculus . Specifications to $q$-calculus case and the new one fibonomial calculus case are made explicit.

First contact remarks on umbra difference calculus references streams
Abstract: The reference links to the modern classical umbral calculus before that known as blissardian symbolic method are numerous. Rota founded and then extended finite operator calculus has links to references which are plenty numerous. The references via links to the difference q calculus umbra way treaded or without even referring to umbra are giant numerous. These reference links now result in count… ▽ More

Pascal like matrices - an accessible factory of one source identities and resulting applications
Abstract: The extension of pascalian like matrices depending on a variable from any field of zero characteristics are shown at work for the first time. Their properties appear to be one source factory of identities and resulting foreseen applications

Cauchy type identities and corresponding fermatian matrices via non-comuting variables of extended finite operator calculus
Abstract: New family of extended Cauchy type identities is found and related Fermat type matrices are provided ready for applications in extended scope. This is achieved due to the use specifically non-commuting variables of extended finite operator calculus introduced by the author few years ago.

On Generalized Clifford Algebra $C_4^{(n)}$ and $GL_q(2;C)$ Quantum Group
Abstract: The non commuting matrix elements of matrices from quantum group $GL_q(2;C)$ with $q\equiv ω$ being the $n$-th root of unity are given a representation as operators in Hilbert space with help of $C_4^{(n)}$ generalized Clifford algebra generators appropriately tensored with unit $% 2\times 2$ matrix infinitely many times. Specific properties of such a representation are presented.

$ψ$-Poisson, $q$-Cigler, $ψ$-Dobinski, $ψ$-Rota and $ψ$-coherent states
Abstract: Cigler simple derivation of usual and extended Dobinski formula is recalled and it is noted that both may be interpreted as averages of powers of random variables with the corresponding usual or extended Poisson distributions. In parallel more general formulas of extended operator umbral calculi origin are revealed . The formulas encompass both earlier cases as very specific ones.

Abstract: One parameter subgroups of the group of hyperbolons of volume one when exploited accurately allow one to define and investigate higher order hyperbolic-trigonometric generalization of corresponding polynomials. A.K.Kwasniewski, W.Bajguz Generalized Clifford Algebras and the Last Fermat Theorem
Abstract: One shows that the Last Fermat Theorem is equivalent to the statement that all rational solutions of the famous equation are provided by an orbit of rationally parametrized subgroup of a group preserving k-ubic form. This very group naturally arrises in the generalized Clifford algebras setting .
