Enterprise chatbots, powered by generative AI, are emerging as key applications to enhance employee productivity. Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), Large Language Models (LLMs), and orchestration frameworks like Langchain and Llamaindex are crucial for building these chatbots. However, creating effective enterprise chatbots is challenging and requires meticulous RAG pipeline engineering. This includes fine-tuning embeddings and LLMs, extracting documents from vector databases, rephrasing queries, reranking results, designing prompts, honoring document access controls, providing concise responses, including references, safeguarding personal information, and building orchestration agents. We present a framework for building RAG-based chatbots based on our experience with three NVIDIA chatbots: for IT/HR benefits, financial earnings, and general content. Our contributions are three-fold: introducing the FACTS framework (Freshness, Architectures, Cost, Testing, Security), presenting fifteen RAG pipeline control points, and providing empirical results on accuracy-latency tradeoffs between large and small LLMs. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first paper of its kind that provides a holistic view of the factors as well as solutions for building secure enterprise-grade chatbots."

Recent developments in the domain of electronic materials and devices have attracted the interest of researchers toward flexible and printable electronic components like organic transistors, printable electrodes and sensors. Zinc Oxide (ZnO) nanowires (NWs) possess a number of excellent properties like high mobility, large exciton binding energy and the direct-band gap in addition to large piezoelectric coefficients. Here, we report on flexible piezo-resistive sensor based on Indium tin oxide (ITO)-coated Polyethylene tetrathalate (PET) substrate. The device shows sensitivity in terms of change in resistance from 100 Ω to 2.4 KΩ at an applied potential of 5V upon bending from flat to 95 degrees. The 1-D nanowire flexible device in its flat state shows saturated output current. We observed ten folds enhanced variation as compared to previous reports. Improved sensitivity was observed in our experiments due to fewer defects in CVD-grown NWs as compared to others where hydrothermally grown nanowires were used. The methodology of device fabrication reported here requires less time and enables efficient devices for the realization of flexible and wearable technology.

The in-medium properties of $η$ mesons are studied in hot and dense isospin asymmetric strange magnetized matter using the chiral SU(3) hadronic mean-field model. The scalar and vector density of baryons are expressed in terms of thermal distribution functions at finite temperature and magnetic field and have dependence on the scalar fields $σ$, $ζ$, and $δ$ through the effective mass of baryons and the dependence on the vector fields $ω, ρ$, and $φ$ through the effective chemical potential. The properties of $η$ mesons get modified in a hot and dense magnetized environment through the medium-modified nucleons and hyperons. The negative mass shift obtained gives rise to optical potential, which is attractive in the medium and suggests a possibility of $η$-mesic bound states formation. The addition of hyperons in the medium enhances the attractive interactions and causes an increased negative mass shift for $η$ mesons.

In this article, we have proposed a generalized Lucas matrix (recursive matrix of higher order) having relation with generalized Fibonacci sequences and established many special properties in addition to that usual matrix algebra. Further, we have proposed a modified public key cryptography using these matrices as keys in Affine cipher and key agreement for encryption-decryption with the combination of terms of generalized Lucas sequences under residue operations. In this scheme, instead of exchanging the whole key matrix, only a pair of numbers(parameters) need to be exchanged, which reduces the time complexity as well as space complexity of the key transmission and has a large key-space.

In this paper, we have proposed a modified cryptographic scheme based on the application of recursive matrices as key in ECC and ElGamal. For encryption, we consider map** analogous to affine Hill cipher in which a plaintext matrix has been constructed by points corresponding to letters on elliptic curves. In the formation of key-space, the generalized Fibonacci matrices have been taken into account, which is the sequence of matrices. The beauty of considering Fibonacci matrices is their construction where we need only two parameters(integers) in place of $n^2$ elements. The use of a recursive matrix makes a large keyspace for our proposed scheme and increases its efficiency. Thus, it reduces time as well space complexity, and its security \& strength is based on EC-DLP which is a hard problem in number theory.

The average entanglement entropy (EE) of the energy eigenstates in non-vanishing partitions has been recently proposed as a diagnostic of integrability in quantum many-body systems. For it to be a faithful characterization of quantum integrability, it should distinguish quantum systems with a well-defined classical limit in the same way as the unequivocal classical integrability criteria. We examine the proposed diagnostic in the class of collective spin models characterized by permutation symmetry in the spins. The well-known Lipkin-Meshov-Glick (LMG) model is a paradigmatic integrable system in this class with a well-defined classical limit. Thus, this model is an excellent testbed for examining quantum integrability diagnostics. First, we calculate analytically the average EE of the Dicke basis $\{|j,m\rangle \}_{m=-j}^j$ in any non-vanishing bipartition, and show that in the thermodynamic limit, it converges to $1/2$ of the maximal EE in the corresponding bipartition. Using finite-size scaling, we numerically demonstrate that the aforementioned average EE in the thermodynamic limit is universal for all parameter values of the LMG model. Our analysis illustrates how a value of the average EE far away from the maximal in the thermodynamic limit could be a signature of integrability.

Small perturbations in the dielectric environment around a high quality whispering gallery mode resonator usually lead to a frequency shift of the resonator modes directly proportional to the polarizability of the perturbation. Here, we report experimental observations of strong frequency shifts that can be opposite and even exceed the contribution of the perturbations' polarizability. The mode frequencies of a lithium niobate whispering gallery mode resonator are shifted using substrates of refractive indices ranging from 1.50 to 4.22. Both blue- and red-shifts are observed, as well as an increase in mode linewidth, when substrates are moved into the evanescent field of the whispering gallery mode. We compare the experimental results to a theoretical model by Foreman et al. and provide an additional intuitive explanation based on the Goos-Hänchen shift for the optical domain.

We establish a rigorous connection between quantum coherence and quantum chaos by employing coherence measures originating from the resource theory framework as a diagnostic tool for quantum chaos. We quantify this connection at two different levels: quantum states and quantum channels. At the level of states, we show how several well-studied quantifiers of chaos are, in fact, quantum coherence measures in disguise (or closely related to them). We further this connection for all quantum coherence measures by using tools from majorization theory. Then, we numerically study the coherence of chaotic-vs-integrable eigenstates and find excellent agreement with random matrix theory in the bulk of the spectrum. At the level of channels, we show that the coherence-generating power (CGP) -- a measure of how much coherence a dynamical process generates on average -- emerges as a subpart of the out-of-time-ordered correlator (OTOC), a measure of information scrambling in many-body systems. Via numerical simulations of the (nonintegrable) transverse-field Ising model, we show that the OTOC and CGP capture quantum recurrences in quantitatively the same way. Moreover, using random matrix theory, we analytically characterize the CGP-OTOC connection for the Haar and Gaussian ensembles. In closing, we remark on how our coherence-based signatures of chaos relate to other diagnostics, namely the Loschmidt echo, OTOC, and the Spectral Form Factor.

The nonclassicality of simple spin systems as measured by Wigner negativity is studied on a spherical phase space. Several SU(2)-covariant states with common qubit representations are addressed: spin coherent, spin cat (GHZ/N00N), and Dicke ($\textsf{W}$). We derive a bound on the Wigner negativity of spin cat states that rapidly approaches the true value as spin increases beyond $j \gtrsim 5$. We find that spin cat states are not significantly Wigner-negative relative to their Dicke state counterparts of equal dimension. We also find, in contrast to several entanglement measures, that the most Wigner-negative Dicke basis element is spin-dependent, and not the equatorial state $| j,0 \rangle$ (or $|j,\pm 1/2 \rangle$ for half-integer spins). These results underscore the influence that dynamical symmetry has on nonclassicality, and suggest a guiding perspective for finding novel quantum computational applications.

In this review article, we discussed the Mathematics and mechanics behind the Enigma machine with an analysis of security strength. The German army used the Enigma machine during the second world war to encrypt communications. Due to its complexity, the encryption done by the Enigma Machine was assumed to be almost unbreakable. However, the Polish believed that people with good background and deep knowledge of science and mathematics would have a better chance to break the encryption done by Enigma. They appointed twenty mathematicians from Poznan University to work on this problem at the Polish Cipher Bureau. Three of those, Marian Rejewski, Jerzy Rozycki and Henryk Zygalski were able to exploit certain flaws in the encryption, and by using permutation group theory finally managed to decipher the Enigma messages. The mathematics discovered by them is presented here.

Let $f$ and $g$ be two Hecke-Maass cusp forms of weight zero for $SL_2(\mathbb Z)$ with Laplacian eigenvalues $\frac{1}{4}+u^2$ and $\frac{1}{4}+v^2$, respectively. Then both have real Fourier coefficients say, $λ_f(n)$ and $λ_g(n)$, and we may normalize $f$ and $g$ so that $λ_f(1)=1=λ_g(1)$. In this article, we first prove that the sequence $\{λ_f(n)λ_g(n)\}_{n \in \mathbb{N}}$ has infinitely many sign changes. Then we derive a bound for the first negative coefficient for the same sequence in terms of the Laplacian eigenvalues of $f$ and $g$.

Let $Γ\subset \textrm{PSL}_2({\mathbb R})$ be a Fuchsian group of the first kind having a fundamental domain with a finite hyperbolic area, and let $\widetildeΓ$ be its cover in $\textrm{SL}_2({\mathbb R})$. Consider the space of twice continuously differentiable, square-integrable functions on the hyperbolic upper half-plane, which transform in a suitable way with respect to a multiplier system of weight $k\in{\mathbb R}$ under the action of $\widetildeΓ$. The space of such functions admits the action of the hyperbolic Laplacian $Δ_k$ of weight $k$. Following an approach of Jorgenson, von Pippich and Smajlović (where $k=0$), we use the spectral expansion associated to $Δ_k$ to construct a wave distribution and then identify the conditions on its test functions under which it represents automorphic kernels and further gives rise to Poincaré-type series. An advantage of this method is that the resulting series may be naturally meromorphically continued to the whole complex plane. Additionally, we derive sup-norm bounds for the eigenfunctions in the discrete spectrum of $Δ_k$.

Modern Digital radar systems with multiple digital beamforming capability are built of a large number of receivers and requires high-speed data interface links for transmission of receiver baseband data to processor units. High data throughput (>250Mbyte/sec) from typical eight-channel receivers will be transmitted to Digital beamformer over high-speed serial interface links over an optical channel. Currently for digital radar systems with sub-array level beam former distribution of receiver data is through point to point optical interface links. For the modern element-level digital beamforming radars the distribution of baseband data increases the design complexity. In this paper novel scheme of usage of distributed optical interface network is discussed using high-speed optical transport networks, FPGAs as well as distributed techniques to over the above problem. The recent advances in optical communication and feature of FPGA devices are utilized in the implementation of optical distribution networks and these schemes are covered in this paper.

High speed optical telecommunication is enabled by wavelength division multiplexing, whereby hundreds of individually stabilized lasers encode the information within a single mode optical fiber. In the seek for larger bandwidth the optical power sent into the fiber is limited by optical non-linearities within the fiber and energy consumption of the light sources starts to become a significant cost factor. Optical frequency combs have been suggested to remedy this problem by generating multiple laser lines within a monolithic device, their current stability and coherence lets them operate only in small parameter ranges. Here we show that a broadband frequency comb realized through the electro-optic effect within a high quality whispering gallery mode resonator can operate at low microwave and optical powers. Contrary to the usual third order Kerr non-linear optical frequency combs we rely on the second order non-linear effect which is much more efficient. Our result uses a fixed microwave signal which is mixed with an optical pump signal to generate a coherent frequency comb with a precisely determined carrier separation. The resonant enhancement enables us to operate with microwave powers three order magnitude smaller than in commercially available devices. We can expect the implementation into the next generation long distance telecommunication which relies on coherent emission and detection schemes to allow for operation with higher optical powers and at reduced cost.

To deal with the problem of large data sets, we have taken subsets of data set by dividing the large data set using K-means clustering algorithm. We have used an Apriori algorithm in MATLAB to generate association rules. We have extracted the association rules for top 5 assignees in each cluster. The proposed method has been empirically validated on 14696 bug reports of Mozilla open source software project, namely, Seamonkey, Firefox and Bugzilla. The proposed method provides an improvement over the existing techniques for bug assignment problem.

We present a method to calculate an upper bound on the generation of entanglement in any spin system using the Fannes-Audenaert inequality for the von Neumann entropy. Our method not only is useful for efficiently estimating entanglement, but also shows that entanglement generation depends on the distance of the quantum states of the system from corresponding minimum-uncertainty spin coherent states (SCSs). We illustrate our method using a quantum kicked top model, and show that our upper bound is a very good estimator for entanglement generated in both regular and chaotic regions. In a deep quantum regime, the upper bound on entanglement can be high in both regular and chaotic regions, while in the semiclassical regime, the bound is higher in chaotic regions where the quantum states diverge from the corresponding SCSs. Our analysis thus explains previous studies and clarifies the relationship between chaos and entanglement.

We prove some non-vanishing results of Hilbert Poincaré series. We derive these results, by showing that the Fourier coefficients of Hilbert Poincaré series satisfy some nice orthogonality relations for sufficiently large weight as well as for sufficiently large level. Quantum-classical correspondence in chaotic systems is a long-standing problem. We describe a method to quantify Bohr's correspondence principle and calculate the size of quantum numbers for which we can expect to observe quantum-classical correspondence near periodic orbits of Floquet systems. Our method shows how the stability of classical periodic orbits affects quantum dynamics. We demonstrate our method by analyzing quantum-classical correspondence in the quantum kicked top (QKT), which exhibits both regular and chaotic behavior. We use our correspondence conditions to identify signatures of classical bifurcations even in a deep quantum regime. Our method can be used to explain the breakdown of quantum-classical correspondence in chaotic systems.

Concretely, for the case where a system is subject to perturbations due to an environment, we derive a lower bound on the fidelity decay, which increases with increasing uncertainty in the state of the environment. Remarkably, this robustness in fidelity can be achieved even in fragile chaotic systems. We show that non-Markovianity is necessary for attaining robustness in the fidelity.

We analyze the connection between Bell inequality violations and symmetric extendibility of quantum states. We prove that 2-qubit reduced states of multiqubit symmetric pure states do not violate the Bell Clauser-Horne-Shimony-Holt (CHSH) inequality. We then prove the more general converse that any 2-qubit state that violates the CHSH inequality cannot have a symmetric extension. We extend our analysis to qudits and provide a test for symmetric extendibility of 2-qudit states. We show that if a 2-qudit Bell inequality is monogamous, then any 2-qudit state that violates this inequality does not have a symmetric extension. For the specific case of 2-qutrit states, we use numerical evidence to conjecture that the Collins-Gisin-Linden-Massar-Popescu (CGLMP) inequality is monogamous. Hence, the violation of the CGLMP inequality by any 2-qutrit state could be a sufficient condition for the nonexistence of its symmetric extension.

As the features from the traditional Local Binary Patterns (LBP) and Local Directional Patterns (LDP) are found to be ineffective for face recognition, we have proposed a new approach derived on the basis of Information sets whereby the loss of information that occurs during the binarization is eliminated. The information sets expand the scope of fuzzy sets by connecting the attribute and the corresponding membership function value as a product. Since face is having smooth texture in a limited area, the extracted features must be highly discernible. To limit the number of features, we consider only the non overlap** windows. By the application of the information set theory we can reduce the number of feature of an image. The derived features are shown to work fairly well over eigenface, fisherface and LBP methods.

In this work, we present a new 3D face recognition method based on Speeded-Up Local Descriptor (SULD) of significant points extracted from the range images of faces. The proposed model consists of a method for extracting distinctive invariant features from range images of faces that can be used to perform reliable matching between different poses of range images of faces. For a given 3D face scan, range images are computed and the potential interest points are identified by searching at all scales. Based on the stability of the interest point, significant points are extracted. For each significant point we compute the SULD descriptor which consists of vector made of values from the convolved Haar wavelet responses located on concentric circles centred on the significant point, and where the amount of Gaussian smoothing is proportional to the radii of the circles. Experimental results show that the newly proposed method provides higher recognition rate compared to other existing contemporary models developed for 3D face recognition.

Using the structure of Singer cycles in general linear groups, we prove that a conjecture of Zeng, Han and He (2007) holds in the affirmative in a special case, and outline a plausible approach to prove it in the general case. This conjecture is about the number of primitive $σ$-LFSRs of a given order over a finite field, and it generalizes a known formula for the number of primitive LFSRs, which, in turn, is the number of primitive polynomials of a given degree over a finite field. Moreover, this conjecture is intimately related to an open question of Niederreiter (1995) on the enumeration of splitting subspaces of a given dimension.
