Decay of the Higgs boson to longitudinally polarized leptons and quarks
Abstract: An important problem in the particle physics is interaction of the Higgs boson with the fermions. It is in the processes, which involve $h f f $ interaction, the manifestations of $CP$ violation are possible. This in turn can be helpful in solving the problem of the dominance of matter over antimatter in the Universe. In this connection, in the present paper, the effect of longitudinal polarizatio… ▽ More

Electron-positron, parton-parton and photon-photon production of $τ$-lepton pairs: anomalous magnetic and electric dipole moments spin effects
Abstract: Anomalous contributions to the electric and magnetic dipole moments of the $τ$ lepton from new physics scenarios have brought renewed interest in the development of new charge-parity violating signatures in $τ$ pair production at Belle II energies, and also at higher energies of the Large Hadron Collider and the Future Circular Collider. Spin correlations in $τ$-lepton pair production due to anomalous magnetic and electric dipole moments

Energy correlation of bottom quarks from decays of top quarks in electron$-$positron annihilation
Abstract: Joint energy distribution of the bottom quark and antiquark from decays of the top quark and antiquark produced in the reaction $e^+ e^- \to t \bar{t}$ is studied. Main emphasis is put on $CP$-violation effects in the interaction of the photon and $Z$ boson with the top quarks. Energy asymmetries of $b$ and $\bar{b}$ quarks, which give access to the $CP$-violating terms, are considered. To estimat… ▽ More

Lepton-Pair Production in Virtual Compton Scattering off the Proton
Abstract: We show that lepton-pair production in Virtual Compton Scattering offers, through interference with the well-known Bethe-Heitler process, a sensitive probe to learn the longitudinal response of resonances and the electromagnetic nucleon form factors. This interference can be measured directly in terms of an asymmetry. The role of off-shell effects in the N-N-$γ$ vertices is investigated as well.… ▽ More

Virtual Compton scattering off the nucleon at low energies
Abstract: We investigate the low-energy behavior of the four-point Green's function $Γ^{μν}$ describing virtual Compton scattering off the nucleon. Using Lorentz invariance, gauge invariance, and crossing symmetry, we derive the leading terms of an expansion of the operator in the four-momenta $q$ and $q'$ of the initial and final photon, respectively. The model-independent result is expressed in term… ▽ More

Pion and photon induced reactions on the nucleon in a unitary model
Abstract: We present a relativistic calculation of pion scattering, pion photoproduction and Compton scattering on the nucleon in the energy region of the \Del-resonance (upto 450 MeV photon lab energy), in a unified framework which obeys the unitarity constraint. It is found that the recent data on the cross section for nucleon Compton scattering determine accurately the parameters of the electromagnetic… ▽ More
