Abstract:

A new magnetic phase with $T_C = 72 \ \mathrm K$ was obtained by exposing the three-dimensional $\mathrm{\{ [Mn^{II}(H_2O)_2]_2[Nb^{IV}(CN)_8] \cdot 4H_2O \} _n}$ coordination ferrimagnet ($T_C = 49 \ \mathrm K$) to air, oxygen, nitrogen, and argon-based plasma. The X-ray powder diffraction pattern revealed that the unit cell shrank after plasma treatment, leading to a 20% enhancement of the superexchange couplings, as estimated from the mean-field approximation (MFA) model. Although no stable dehydrated form was found in the thermogravimetric analysis, the observed changes are attributed to the removal of crystallization water molecules. The plasma-induced magnetic phase could not be obtained by exposing the studied material to 0% relative humidity during dynamic vapor sorption. Instead, the material underwent a major structural reorganization after dehydration, necessitating an extended MFA model to reproduce the magnetic susceptibility. These findings demonstrate that plasma-induced changes can create unique magnetic phases in molecule-based systems that are otherwise unobtainable.

Molecular magnetism aims to design materials with unique properties at the molecular level, focusing on the systematic synthesis of new chemical compounds. In this paper, we propose an alternative route to engineer molecular magnetic materials through plasma irradiation. Our research indicates that the long-range magnetic order temperature in the three-dimensional $\mathrm{\{[Mn^{II}(H_2O)_2]_2[Nb^{IV}(CN)_8]\cdot 4H_2O\}_n}$ molecular ferrimagnet increases by 20 K after plasma treatment. The core structure of the compound does not reveal significant changes after plasma processing, as confirmed by the X-ray powder diffraction analysis. The observed results are attributed to the release of crystallized water molecules. The described procedure can serve as a viable approach to altering the magnetic properties of the molecular systems.

Abstract:
We conducted a global comparative analysis of the coverage of American topics in different language versions of Wikipedia, using over 90 million Wikidata items and 40 million Wikipedia articles in 58 languages. Our study aimed to investigate whether Americanization is more or less dominant in different regions and cultures and to determine whether interest in American topics is universal.

A comprehensive study of thermodynamic properties of three samples of bimetallic molecular magnets [Co$^{\mathrm{II}}$(pyrazole)$_{4}$]$_{2x}$[Fe$^{\mathrm{II}}$(pyrazole)$_{4}$]$_{2(1-x)}$[Nb$^{\mathrm{IV}}$(CN)$_{8}$]$\cdot$4H$_{2}$O with $x$=0 (Co$_{2}$Nb), 0.5 (CoFeNb), and 1 (Fe$_{2}$Nb) is reported. The three samples display the same crystallographic structure crystallizing in the tetragonal system with space group $I4_1/a$. Their heat capacities are measured in the temperature range 0.36-100 K without applied field as well as in the field of $μ_0 H$ = 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 1, 2, 5, and 9 T. The results imply the presence of the second-order phase transitions to magnetically ordered phases at 4.87(8) K, 7.1(2) K, and 8.44(3) K for $x$=0, 0.5, and 1, respectively. The corresponding thermodynamic functions are analyzed to discuss the stability of the mixed compound and the magnetocaloric effect (MCE). The Gibbs energy of mixing is found to be positive but smaller in magnitude than the energy of thermal fluctuations indicating that the mixed sample is marginally stable in the full detected temperature range. The enthalpy of mixing is negative, which points to an ordered arrangement of the Co(II) and Fe(II) ions in the solid solution CoFeNb. The negative values of the entropy of mixing are explained by considering the enhanced rigidity of the crystal lattice of the solid solution sample. To extract the magnetic contribution to the heat capacity an approach based on a reasonable frequency spectrum is adopted. Taking advantage of the in-field heat capacity measurements MCE was described in terms of the isothermal entropy change $ΔS_\mathrm{M}$ and the adiabatic temperature change $ΔT_\mathrm{ad}$. The magnitudes of these quantities are typical for the class of molecular magnets.

Abstract:
The magnetic phase diagram in the H-T coordinates has been determined for σ-Fe68V32 from the ZFC/FC magnetization measurements. The re-entrant character of magnetism, going from paramagnetic through ferromagnetic to spin-glass (SG) states, has been evidenced. The SG phase is magnetically heterogeneous, because two sub phases can be identified i.e. with the strong (SG-SI) and the weak (SG-WI) irreversibility. The ireversibility, T_irr and the crossover, T_cros, temperatures were quantitatively analysed using the mean-field theory and φ_irr=1.6(2) and φ_cros=0.91(9) values were obtained. A qualitative agreement with the Gabay-Toulouse model was reached. The isothermal magnetization measurements point to a soft magnetic behaviour of the studied sample. The γ critical exponent was determined with the Kouvel-Fisher approach yielding the value of γ=1.0(1) in line with the mean-field theory.

In this study we investigate how quantification of Wikipedia biographies can shed light on worldwide longitudinal gender inequality trends. We present an academic index allowing comparative study of gender inequality through space and time, the Wikipedia Gender Index (WIGI), based on metadata available through the Wikidata database. Our research confirms that gender inequality is a phenomenon with a long history, but whose patterns can be analyzed and quantified on a larger scale than previously thought possible. Through the use of Inglehart- Welzel cultural clusters, we show that gender inequality can be analyzed with regards to world's cultures. In the dimension studied (coverage of females and other genders in reference works) we show a steadily improving trend, through one with aspects that deserve careful follow up analysis (such as the surprisingly high ranking of the Confucian and South Asian clusters).

The maximum value of $ΔS_\mathrm{M}$ for $μ_0ΔH=5$ T is 4.9 J mol$^{-1}$ K$^{-1}$ (4.8 J kg$^{-1}$ K$^{-1}$) at 10.3 K. The corresponding maximum value of $ΔT_\mathrm{ad}$ is 2.0 K at 8.9 K. The temperature dependence of the exponent $n$ characterizing the field dependence of $ΔS_\mathrm{M}$ has been estimated. It attains the value of 0.64 at the transition temperature, which is consistent with the 3D Heisenberg universality class.

We investigate a steady flow of incompressible fluid in the plane. The motion is governed by the Navier-Stokes equations with prescribed velocity $u_\infty$ at infinity. The main result shows the existence of unique solutions for arbitrary force, provided sufficient largeness of $u_\infty$. Furthermore a spacial structure of the solution is obtained in comparison with the Oseen flow. A key element of our new approach is based on a setting which treats the directino of the flow as \emph{time} direction. The analysis is done in framework of the Fourier transform taken in one (perpendicular) direction and a special choice of function spaces which take into account the inhomogeneous character of the symbol of the Oseen system. From that point of view our technique can be used as an effective tool in examining spatial asymptotics of solutions to other systems modeled by elliptic equations.

Analysis of this model system shows us a parabolic character of the studied problem, resulting as an appearance of the wake region behind the obstacle. Main tools are given by the Fourier analysis to obtain the maximal regularity estimates. The results imply the solvability for the Navier-Stokes system for small velocity at infinity.
