Direct numerical simulation of three-dimensional acoustic turbulence has been performed for both weak and strong regimes. Within the weak turbulence, we demonstrate the existence of the Zakharov-Sagdeev spectrum $\propto k^{-3/2}$ not only for weak dispersion but in the non-dispersion (ND) case as well. Such spectra in the $k$-space are accompanied by jets in the form of narrow cones. These distributions are realized due to small nonlinearity compared with both dispersion/diffraction. Increasing pum** in the ND case due to dominant nonlinear effects leads to the formation of shocks. As a result, the acoustic turbulence turns into an ensemble of random shocks with the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili spectrum.

Direct numerical simulation of threedimensional chaotic motion of a dielectric liquid with a free surface under the action of external horizontal electric field is carried out. The numerical model takes into account the effects of surface tension, viscosity, and external isotropic random forcing acting at large scales. A transition from dispersive capillary wave turbulence to quasi-isotropic nondispersive EHD surface turbulence with increase of the external electric field strength is numerically observed for the first time. At the regime of developed EHD wave turbulence, the total electrical energy is found to be much greater than the energy of capillary waves, i.e., electrohydrodynamic effects play a dominant role. At the same time, anisotropic effects are detected that lead to the generation of capillary wave packets traveling perpendicular to the external field direction. Despite the revealed anisotropy, the calculated spectrum of EHD wave turbulence is in very good agreement with the analytical spectrum obtained on the basis of dimensional analysis of weak turbulence spectra.

The weakly nonlinear dynamics of the free surface of a dielectric liquid in an electric field directed tangentially to the unperturbed boundary is investigated numerically. Within the framework of the strong field model, when the effects of capillarity and gravity are not taken into account, it is shown that nonlinear surface waves have a tendency to break. In result of the collapse of the surface waves, the curvature of the boundary and the gradient of the local electric field undergo infinite discontinuity on the surface of the liquid. The angles of the boundary inclination remain small. The characteristic collapse time of a surface wave traveling in a given direction is calculated versus the dielectric constant of the liquid. It is shown that the time of the singularity formation increases infinitely at small and high values of the dielectric constant. The first case corresponds to the transition of the system to the neutral stability regime (the jump in electrostatic pressure at the boundary turns into zero). At high values of the dielectric constant of the liquid, the collapse time also increases. This effect is associated with the realization of a special regime of fluid motion, in which the propagation of nonlinear surface waves of an arbitrary configuration occurs without distortions. For the liquids with relative permittivity close to five, the wave breaking time reaches a minimum, i.e., the collapse of the surface waves for such liquids occurs most intensively.

We present the results of direct numerical simulation of three-dimensional acoustic turbulence in medium with weak positive dispersion. It is shown that at the beginning of the long-wavelength region in the turbulence energy distribution in the $k$-space, there are formed jets in the form of narrow cones. At larger wavenumbers, the cones broaden, and the distribution accordingly tends to isotropic. In this region of wavenumbers, the angle-averaged turbulence spectrum acquires a power-law character, $E(k)\propto k^{-α}$, with the exponent close to $3/2$, which corresponds to the Zakharov-Sagdeev weak acoustic turbulence spectrum.

The turbulence of capillary waves on the surface of a ferrofluid with a high permeability in a horizontal magnetic field is considered in the framework of a one-dimensional weakly nonlinear model. In the limit of a strong magnetic field, the surface waves under study can propagate without distortions along or against the direction of external field, i.e., similar to Alfvén waves in a perfectly conducting fluid. The interaction of counter-propagating nonlinear waves leads to the development of wave turbulence on the surface of the liquid. The computational data show that the spectrum of turbulence is divided into two parts: a low-frequency dispersionless region, where the magnetic forces dominate and a high-frequency dispersive one, in which the influence of capillary forces becomes significant. In the first region, the spectrum of the surface elevation has the same exponent in $k$ and $ω$ domains and its value is close to $-3.5$, what is in a good agreement with the estimation obtained from the dimensional analysis of the weak turbulence spectra. At the high frequencies, the computed spatial spectrum of the surface waves is close to $k^{-5/2}$ which corresponds to $ω^{-5/3}$ in terms of the frequency. This spectrum does not coincide with the Zakharov-Filonenko spectrum obtained for pure capillary waves. A possible explanation of this fact is in the influence of coherent structures (like shock waves) usually arising in media with weak dispersion.

A direct numerical simulation of the interaction of plane capillary waves on the surface of a liquid dielectric in an external tangential electric field taking into account viscous forces has been performed. It has been shown that the interaction of counter-propagating nonlinear waves can generate a direct energy cascade. In the quasistationary energy dissipation regime, probability density functions for angles of inclination of the boundary tend to a Gaussian distribution and the shape of the boundary becomes complex and chaotic. The spectrum of the surface perturbations in this regime is described by a power law $k^{-5/2}$. The energy spectrum has the form $k^{-3/2}$, which coincides with the Iroshnikov-Kraichnan energy spectrum and indicates that the observed wave turbulence of the liquid surface and the weak magnetohydrodynamic turbulence of interacting Alfvén waves have a related nature.

The process of interaction between nonlinear waves on a free surface of a nonconducting fluid in a strong tangential electric field is simulated numerically (effects of the force of gravity and capillarity are neglected). It is shown that singular points are formed at the fluid boundary in a finite time; at these points, the boundary curvature significantly increases and undergoes a discontinuity. The amplitude and slope angles of the boundary remain small. The singular behavior of the system is demonstrated by spectral functions of the fluid surface - they acquire a power dependence. Near the singularity, the boundary curvature demonstrates a self-similar behavior typical for weak root singularities.

Processes of propagation and interaction of nonlinear gravity-capillary waves on the free surface of a deep non-conducting liquid with high dielectric constant under the action of a tangential electric field are numerically simulated. The computational method is based on the time-dependent conformal transformation of the region occupied by the fluid into a half-plane. In the limit of a strong electric field, when the gravitational and capillary forces are negligibly small, there exists an exact analytical solution of the electro-hydrodynamic equations describing propagation without distortions of nonlinear surface waves along (or against) the electric field direction. In the situation where gravity and capillarity are taken into account, the results of numerical simulations indeed show that, for large external field, the waves traveling in a given direction tend to preserve their shape. In the limit of a strong electric field, the interaction of counter-propagating waves leads to the formation of regions, where the electrostatic and dynamic pressures undergo a discontinuity, and the curvature of the surface increases infinitely. The Fourier spectrum of the surface perturbations tends to the power-law distribution (k^-2). In the case of a finite electric field, the wave interaction results in a radiation of massive cascade of small-scale capillary waves that causes the chaotic behavior of the system. The investigated mechanism of interaction between oppositely-traveling waves can enhance development of the capillary turbulence of the fluid surface.

Nonlinear dynamics of the free surface of an ideal incompressible non-conducting fluid with high dielectric constant subjected by strong horizontal electric field is simulated on the base of the method of conformal transformations. It is demonstrated that interaction of counter-propagating waves leads to formation of regions with steep wave front at the fluid surface; angles of the boundary inclination tend to π/2, and the curvature of surface extremely increases. A significant concentration of the energy of the system occurs at these points. From the physical point of view, the appearance of these singularities corresponds to formation of regions at the fluid surface where pressure exerted by electric field undergoes a discontinuity and dynamical pressure increases almost an order of magnitude.

Nonlinear dynamics of the free surface of finite depth non-conducting fluid with high dielectric constant subjected to a strong horizontal electric field is considered. Using the conformal transformation of the region occupied by the fluid into a strip, the process of counter-propagating waves interaction is numerically simulated. The nonlinear solitary waves on the surface can separately propagate along or against the direction of electric field without distortion. At the same time, the shape of the oppositely traveling waves can be distorted as the result of their interaction. In the problem under study, the nonlinearity leads to increasing the waves amplitudes and the duration of their interaction. This effect is inversely proportional to the fluid depth. In the shallow water limit, the tendency to the formation of a vertical liquid jet is observed.

Two granular systems (I and II) corresponding oxide nanopowders having different agglomeration tendency are simulated by the granular dynamics method. The particle size is 10 nanometer. The interaction of particles involves the elastic forces of repulsion, the tangential forces of "friction", the dispersion forces of attraction, and in the case of II system the opportunity of creation/destruction of hard bonds of chemical nature. The processes of the uniaxial compaction, the biaxial (radial) one, the isotropic one, the compaction combined with shear deformation as well as the simple shear deformation are studied. The effect of the positive dilatancy is found out in the processes of shear deformation. The loading surfaces of nanopowders are constructed in the space of stress tensor invariants, i.e., the hydrostatic pressure and the deviator intensity. It is revealed that the form of the loading surfaces is similar to an ellipse, which is shifted along the hydrostatic axis to compressive pressures. The associated flow rule is analyzed. The nonorthogonality of the deformation vectors to the loading surface is established in the both systems modeled.
