Abstract:
The AFMR spectra of the NdFe$_3$(BO$_3$)$_4$ crystal are measured in a wide range of frequencies and temperatures. It is found that by the type of magnetic anisotropy the compound is an "easy-plane" antiferromagnet with a weak anisotropy in the basal plane. The effective magnetic parameters are determined: anisotropy fields $H_{a1}$=1.14 kOe and $H_{a2}$=60 kOe and magnetic excitation gaps $Δν_1$=…

It is found that by the type of magnetic anisotropy the compound is an "easy-plane" antiferromagnet with a weak anisotropy in the basal plane. The effective magnetic parameters are determined: anisotropy fields $H_{a1}$=1.14 kOe and $H_{a2}$=60 kOe and magnetic excitation gaps $Δν_1$=101.9 GHz and $Δν_2$=23.8 GHz. It is shown that commensurate-incommensurate phase transition causes a shift in resonance field and a considerable change in absorption line width.
At temperatures below 4.2 K nonlinear regimes of AFMR excitation at low microwave power levels are observed.

It is shown that at TN =2.05 K this compound undergoes a transition to a magnetically ordered antiferromagnet state. A distinctive feature of this compound is the presence of temperature hysteresis at the transition to the ordered state (corresponding to a first order magnetic phase transition) and of a spontaneous magnetic moment along the x axis. The paramagnetic Curie temperatures are determined. The frequency-field curves of the AFMR spectrum in the xy plane are investigated at a temperature below TN. The main magnetic parameters of the biaxial AFM - the value of the low-frequency gap and the effective magnetic anisotropy field - are determined.

Abstract:
The electron paramagnetic resonance investigations of the magnetically concentrated crystal of KYb(MoO4)2 have been performed. The main value of g-factors along principal local axes was determinate. The two nonequivalent Yb3+ centers were found in ac-plane. It is shown that local symmetry of Yb3+ ion in ac-plane is not higher than rhombic. Some peculiarities in the frequency-field dependence of…

Chaotic regimes of the microwave energy absorption are experimentally observed and analyzed for two-dimensional metallorganic antiferromagnet (NH_3)_2(CH_2)_4MnCl_4 at low temperatures under the conditions of nonlinear antiferromagnetic resonance. Relaxation oscillations of energy absorption are investigated in detail. Their frequency spectra, frequency-amplitude characteristics, and dependences of absorbed power on driving power and static magnetic field are studied. It is shown that the dynamics of relaxation oscillations undergoes a transition to chaos by "irregular periods". Peculiarities of the transition are described consistently. Among other things, the conditions for the emergence of energy absorption regimes with a spike-like and a saw-tooth signal structure are determined, and the characteristics of chaotic oscillations such as the dimensions of strange attractors are calculated. The chaotic dynamics is found to be high-dimensional with a large contribution from noise which is of deterministic origin in the antiferromagnet under investigation.
