Abstract:
Evidence of the $K^+\toμ^+ν\barνν$ decay was searched for using E949 experimental data with an exposure of $1.70\times 10^{12}$ stopped kaons. The data sample is dominated by the backgrond process $K^+\toμ^+ν_μγ$. An upper limit on the decay rate $Γ(K^+\toμ^+ν\barνν)< 2.4\times 10^{-6}Γ(K^+\to all)$ at 90% confidence level was set assuming the Standard Model muon spectrum. The data are presented i…

This brings the total number of observed K+ => pi+,nu,nubar events to seven. Combining this observation with previous results, assuming the pion spectrum predicted by the standard model, results in a branching ratio of (1.73+1.15-1.05)e-10. An interpretation of the results for alternative models of the decay K^ => pi+,nothing is also presented.

Abstract:
The results of a development of a scintillator counter with wavelength shifting (WLS) fibre and a multi-pixel Geiger-mode avalanche photodiode readout are presented. The photodiode has a metal-resistor-semiconductor layered structure and operates in the limited Geiger mode. The scintillator counter has been developed for the EMMA underground cosmic ray experiment.

Abstract:
The K^+ \to π^0 μ^+ νγ($K_{μ3 γ}$) decay has been measured with stopped positive kaons at the KEK 12 GeV proton synchrotron. A $K_{μ3 γ}$ sample containing 125 events was obtained. The partial branching ratio $Br(K_{μ3 γ}, E_γ>30 {\rm MeV}, θ_{μ^+ γ}>20^{\circ})$ was found to be $[2.4 \pm 0.5(stat) \pm 0.6(syst)]\times 10^{-5}$, which is in good agreement with theoretical predictions.

Abstract:
The $K^+ \to π^0 π^0 e^+ ν$ ($K_{e4}^{00}$) decay has been measured with stopped positive kaons for a data sample of 216 events. A comparison of the observed spectra with a Monte Carlo simulation determined the $K_{e4}^{00}$ form factor. The results are compatible with the $K^+ \to π^+ π^- e^+ ν$ data, as estimated from the $ΔI=1/2$ rule. We also established that the $K_{e4}^{00}$ channel can be…

Abstract:
A search for T-violating transverse muon polarization ($P_T$) in the $K^{+}\to π^{0}μ^{+}ν$ decay was performed using kaon decays at rest. A new improved value, $P_T= -0.0017\pm 0.0023 (stat)\pm 0.0011 (syst)$, was obtained giving an upper limit, $| P_T | < 0.0050$. The T-violation parameter was determined to be Im$ξ= -0.0053 \pm 0.0071(stat)\pm 0.0036(syst)$ giving an upper limit, $|$Im…
