The Amaterasu Cosmic Ray as a Magnetic Monopole and Implications for Extensions of the Standard Model
Abstract: The Amaterasu cosmic ray particle appears to have come from the direction of the local cosmic void. We take this as evidence that it is a magnetic monopole rather than a proton or nucleus. This in turn strongly suggests physics at high energy is described by a quiver gauge theory.

A Review of Axion Lasing in Astrophysics
Abstract: Axions can be stimulated to decay to photons by ambient photons of the right frequency or by photons from decay of neighboring axions. If the axion density is high enough the photon intensity can be amplified, which is a type of lasing or an axion maser. Here we review the astrophysical situations where axion lasing can appear and possibly be detected.

GUT origins of general electroweak multiplets and their oblique parameters

Astrophysically sourced quantum coherent photonic signals
Abstract: Stimulated emission is shown to be robust in stars. Through Bose enhancement this produces quantum states of aligned, monochromatic photons similar to a laser. An $SU(15)$ Approach to Bifermion Classification
Abstract: One interesting way to extend the standard model is the hypothesis of bifermions which are bosons which couple to pairs of quarks and leptons. We point out that $SU(15)$ grand unification gives a natural way to classify bifermions and discuss leptoquarks, biquarks and bileptons. In fact, $SU(15)$ provides an ideal covering group as it contains all possible bifermions within a single model.

Decoherence and the Classes of Maximally Entangled States
Abstract: Self-interactions and interaction with the environment tend to push quantum systems toward states of maximal entanglement. This is a definition of decoherence. After discussing these ideas we present examples of maximally entangled state… ▽ More

LHC Higgs Production and Decay in the T' Model
Abstract: At $\sqrt{s} = 7$ TeV, the standard model needs at least $10\, (fb)^{-1}$ integrated luminosity at LHC to make a definitive discovery of the Higgs boson. Using binary tetrahedral ($T^{'}$) discrete flavor symmetry, we discuss how the decay of the lightest $T'$ Higgs into $γ\,γ$ can be effectively enhanced and dominate over its decay into $b \, \bar{b}$. Since the two-photon final state allows for… ▽ More

Inflatonless Inflation
Abstract: We consider a 4+N dimensional Einstein gravity coupled to a non-linear sigma model. This theory admits a solution in which the N extra dimensions contract exponentially while the ordinary space expand exponentially. Physically, the non-linear sigma fields induce the dynamical compactification of the extra dimensions, which in turn drives inflation. No inflatons are required.
