Behaviour of Charged Collapsing Fluids after Hydrostatic Equilibrium in R^n Gravity
Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to study the transport equation and its coupling with Maxwell equation in the framework of R^n gravity. Using Muller-Israel-Stewart theory for the conduction of dissipative fluids, we analyze the temperature, heat flux, viscosity and thermal conductivity in the scenario of relaxation time. All these thermodynamical variables are appeared in the form of a single factor… ▽ More

Gravitational Wave Polarization Modes in $f(R)$ Theories
Abstract: Many studies have been carried out in the literature to evaluate the number of polarization modes of gravitational waves in modified theories, in particular in $f(R)$ theories. In the latter ones, besides the usual two transverse-traceless tensor modes present in general relativity, there are two additional scalar ones: a massive longitudinal mode and a massless transverse mode (the so-called brea… ▽ More

Dynamical Analysis of Charged Anisotropic Spherical Star in f(R) Gravity
Abstract: We consider a modified gravity theory, $f(R)=R+αR^n-\frac{μ^4}{R^m}$, in the metric formulation and analyze the contribution of electromagnetic field on the range of dynamical instability of a star filled with anisotropic matter. The collapse equation is developed by applying conservation on anisotropic matter, Maxwell source and dark source terms arising due to $f(R)$ gravity. Specific perturbati… ▽ More

Hot Plasma Modes Across Reissner-Nordstrom de Sitter Horizon in a Veselago Medium
Abstract: In this manuscript, wave attributes of hot plasma around Reissner- Nordstrom-de Sitter (RN-dS) metric in a Veselago medium are in- vestigated. General relativistic magnetohydrodynamical (GRMHD) equations in planar coordinates for the RN-dS horizon are reformulated by implementation of ADM 3+1 technique. Further, perturba- tion scheme is used to arrive at linearly perturbed GRMHD equations whose c… ▽ More

Dissipative Spherical Collapse of Charged Anisotropic Fluid in f(R) Gravity
Abstract: This manuscript is devoted to study the combined effect of a viable model, f(R) = R + αR^n, and electromagnetic field on the instability range of gravitational collapse. We assume charged anisotropic fluid that dissipate energy via heat flow and discuss that electromagnetic field, density inhomogeneity, shear and phase transition on astrophysical bodies can be incorporated by locally anisotropic b… ▽ More

Effects of CDTT Model on the Dynamical Instability of Cylindrically Symmetric Collapsing Stars
Abstract: We assume cylindrically symmetric stars which begin collapsing by dissipating energy in the form of heat flux. We wish to study the effects of Carroll-Duvvuri-Trodden-Turner (CDTT) model, $f(R)=R+σ\frac{μ^4}{R}$, on the range of dynamical instability. For this purpose, perturbation scheme is applied to all the metric functions, material functions and $f(R)$ model to obtain the full set of dynamica… ▽ More

Newtonian and Post Newtonian Expansionfree Fluid Evolution in f(R) Gravity
Abstract: We consider a collapsing sphere and discuss its evolution under the vanishing expansion scalar in the framework of $f(R)$ gravity. The fluid is assumed to be locally anisotropic which evolves adiabatically. To study the dynamics of the collapsing fluid, Newtonian and post Newtonian regimes are taken into account. The field equations are investigated for a well-known $f(R)$ model of the form… ▽ More

Effects of f(R) Model on the Dynamical Instability of Expansionfree Gravitational Collapse
Abstract: Dark energy models based on f(R) theory have been extensively studied in literature to realize the late time acceleration. In this paper, we have chosen a viable f(R) model and discussed its effects on the dynamical instability of expansionfree fluid evolution generating a central vacuum cavity. For this purpose, contracted Bianchi identities are obtained for both the usual matter as well as dark… ▽ More

Expansionfree Fluid Evolution and Skripkin Model in f(R) Theory
Abstract: We consider the modified $f(R)$ theory of gravity whose higher order curvature terms are interpreted as a gravitational fluid or dark source. The gravitational collapse of a spherically symmetric star, made up of locally anisotropic viscous fluid, is studied under the general influence of the curvature fluid. Dynamical equations and junction conditions are modified in the context of f(R) dark ener… ▽ More

Dust Static Spherically Symmetric Solution in $f(R)$ Gravity
Abstract: In this paper, we take dust matter and investigate static spherically symmetric solution of the field equations in metric f(R) gravity. The solution is found with constant Ricci scalar curvature and its energy distribution is evaluated by using Landau-Lifshitz energy-momentum complex. We also discuss the stability condition and constant scalar curvature condition for some specific popular choices… ▽ More

Anisotropic Fluid and Bianchi Type III Model in f(R) Gravity
Abstract: This paper is devoted to study the Bianchi type III model in the presence of anisotropic fluid in f(R) gravity. Exponential and power-law volumetric expansions are used to obtain exact solutions of the field equations. We discuss the physical behavior of the solutions and anisotropy behavior of the fluid, the expansion parameter and the model in future evolution of the universe.

Abstract: In this paper, we solve the field equations in metric f(R) gravity for Bianchi type VI_0 spacetime and discuss evolution of the expanding universe. We find two types of non-vacuum solutions by taking isotropic and anisotropic fluids as the source of matter and dark energy. The physical behavior of these solutions is analyzed and compared in the future evolution with the help of some physical and g… ▽ More

Behavior of Time-varying Constants in Relativity
Abstract: In this paper, we consider Bianchi type III and Kantowski-Sachs spacetimes and discuss the behavior of time-varying constants $G$ and $Λ$ by using two symmetric techniques, namely, kinematic self-similarity and matter collineation. In the kinematic self-similarity technique, we investigate the behavior of the first and the second kinds. In the matter collineation technique, we consider usual, mo… ▽ More
