A Gromov-Witten approach to $G$-equivariant birational invariants
Abstract: In arXiv:2404.19088, we initiated a program linking birational invariants with smooth ones and offering new interpretations of classical invariants, such as the Kervaire-Milnor invariants. Here, we rely on the profound geometric reasoning provided by Lupercio and Uribe in the early 00s to establish a connection between Chen-Ruan cohomology and several $G$-birational invariants introduced in the pi… ▽ More

Shifted symplectic structures on derived Quot-stacks II -- Derived Quot-schemes as dg manifolds
Abstract: It is proved that derived Quot-schemes, as defined by Ciocan-Fontanine and Kapranov, are represented by dg manifolds of finite type. This is the second part if a work aimed to analyze shifted symplectic structures on moduli spaces of coherent sheaves on Calabi--Yau manifolds. The first part related dg manifolds to derived schemes as defined by Toën and Vezzosi.

Homological Projective Duality via Variation of Geometric Invariant Theory Quotients
Abstract: We provide a geometric approach to constructing Lefschetz collections and Landau-Ginzburg Homological Projective Duals from a variation of Geometric Invariant Theory quotients. This approach yields homological projective duals for Veronese embeddings in the setting of Landau Ginzburg models. Our results also extend to a relative Homological Projective Duality framework.

Minifolds and Phantoms
Abstract: A minifold is a smooth projective $n$-dimensional variety such that its bounded derived category of coherent sheaves $\D^b(X)$ admits a semi-orthogonal decomposition into an exceptional collection of $n+1$ exceptional objects. In this paper we classify minifolds of dimension $n \leq 4$. We conjecture that the derived category of fake projective spaces have a similar semi-orthogonal decomposition i… ▽ More

The Mori Program and Non-Fano Toric Homological Mirror Symmetry
Abstract: In the case of toric varieties, we continue the pursuit of Kontsevich's fundamental insight, Homological Mirror Symmetry, by unifying it with the Mori program. We give a refined conjectural version of Homological Mirror Symmetry relating semi-orthogonal decompositions of the $B$-model on toric varieties to semi-orthogonal decompositions on the $A$-model on the mirror Landau-Ginzburg models. As e… ▽ More

Resolutions in factorization categories
Abstract: Generalizing Eisenbud's matrix factorizations, we define factorization categories. Following work of Positselski, we define their associated derived categories. We construct specific resolutions of factorizations built from a choice of resolutions of their components. We use these resolutions to lift fully-faithfulness statements from derived categories of Abelian categories to derived categories… ▽ More

On the Griffiths Groups of Fano Manifolds of Calabi-Yau Hodge Type
Abstract: A deep result of Voisin asserts that the Griffiths group of a general non-rigid Calabi-Yau (CY) 3-fold is infinitely generated. This theorem builds on an earlier method of hers which was implemented by Albano and Collino to prove the same result for a general cubic sevenfold. In fact, Voisin's method can be utilized precisely because the variation of Hodge structure on a cubic 7-fold behaves just… ▽ More

Orlov spectra as a filtered cohomology theory
Abstract: This paper presents a new approach to the dimension theory and Orlov spectra of triangulated categories by considering natural filtrations that arise in the pretriangulated setting.
