Interplanetary Medium as Fuel for Plasma Thrusters
Abstract: We examine the use of the interplanetary substance as a possible fuel for spacecraft plasma thrusters for interplanetary flights. The solar radiation is considered as an energy source for the ionization and the acceleration of particles of captured space environment that is used as drop weight. The method of capturing the space environment, which is dependent on its density, the velocity of the sp… ▽ More

Comparison of UNet, ENet, and BoxENet for Segmentation of Mast Cells in Scans of Histological Slices
Abstract: Deep neural networks show high accuracy in theproblem of semantic and instance segmentation of biomedicaldata. However, this approach is computationally expensive. Thecomputational cost may be reduced with network simplificationafter training or choosing the proper architecture, which providessegmentation with less accuracy but does it much faster. In thepresent study, we analyzed the accuracy and… ▽ More

Amplification of coupled nonlinear oscillations of charged particle beam in crossed magnetic fields
Abstract: A non-relativistic, charged-particle beam is placed into a crossed magnetic field. For such a system, the nonlinear electrostatic oscillations generation in the different degrees of the beam freedom may be triggered by the energy/momentum exchange between the beam's particles and these external fields. The influence of oscillation dynamics of these fields and beam have been studied based on the co… ▽ More

Formation of structure for gas-liquid, non-equilibrium polymer media
Abstract: This paper examines the mechanisms of destruction and synthesis for macromolecules, which may be propelled by external acoustic fields in the flows of polymeric liquids containing a large number of gas bubbles. The dynamics of these bubbles is assumed to govern by changing the flow geometry and exciting sound oscillations in the flow. Mechanically-induced kinetic changes in macromolecules (destruc… ▽ More

Acceleration of macroscopic clusters in crossed magnetic fields
Abstract: In previous our investigations the acceleration of rotating plasma flow in crossed magnetic fields owing to the momentum transfer between the macroscopic degrees of freedom for the plasma flow was studied. Based on these results, we have discussed the acceleration of plasma flow containing the charged macroscopic particles. The estimates presented make it possible to draw a tentative conclusion ab… ▽ More

The influence of velocity field on simple chemical reactions in viscous flow
Abstract: The nonlinear dynamics of viscous, flow in a compressible spatially homogeneous fluid with chemical reactions are studied. Time-dependent but exact solution of the Piseuille type is obtained. Proceeding from this solution, the influence of a viscosity effect and a chemical reaction on the characteristics of nonequilibrium temporal states of the system is considered. Special attention is drawn to t… ▽ More

Using Interplanetary Medium as Propellant for Plasma Thruster Propulsion
Abstract: Consuming long-range interplanetary medium with fuel for driving plasma thrust is vital. Methods of capturing the space environment depending on its density and the ship velocity are indispensable issues to extract the space environment as a propellant. This matter of neutral fluxes would use solar radiation to create ionization in a plasma thruster. Extracting propellant at certain ranges look ex… ▽ More

Design of a Plasma Accelerator Based on Effects of Energy/Momentum Exchange in Crossed Magnetic Fields
Abstract: The creation and design of a plasma thruster are considered using a rotating cylindrical plasma flow in crossed magnetic fields. The thruster scheme uses this plasma guided by a permanent, radial and a time-dependent axial magnetic field. Namely, the acceleration effect is formed by the azimuthal electric field which comes about as a variation of an external, axial magnetic flux. Besides, it is po… ▽ More

Properties and evolution of anisotropic structures in collisionless plasmas
Abstract: A new class of exact electrostatic solutions of the Vlasov-Maxwell equations based on the Jeans's theorem is proposed for studying the evolution and properties of two-dimensional anisotropic plasmas that are far from thermodynamic equilibrium. In particular, the free expansion of a slab of electron-ion plasma into vacuum is investigated.

Classification of modules over laterally complete regular algebras
Abstract: Let $\mathcal{A}$ be a laterally complete commutative regular algebra and $X$ be a laterally complete $\mathcal{A}$-module. In this paper we introduce a notion of passport $Γ(X)$ for $X$, which consist of uniquely defined partition of unity in the Boolean algebra of idempotents in $\mathcal{A}$ and the set of pairwise different cardinal numbers. It is proved that $\mathcal{A}$-modules $X$ and $Y$… ▽ More

Exact nonlinear and time-dependent solutions are obtained, which exhibit a variety of transient phenomena such as a density collapse in finite space-time or the appearance and, for the first time, a successive dissolution of wavelet… ▽ More
