Dissipative spatiotemporal soliton in a driven waveguide laser
Abstract: A distributed Kerr-lens mode locking regime can be realized in a waveguide laser by spatial profiling of the pump beam, thus creating a spatio-temporal soliton. Additional slow temporal modulation of the pump source stabilizes the spatio-temporal solution in a broad range of parameters, which are defined by the dynamic gain saturation. We choose a Cr:ZnS waveguide laser as a practical example, but… ▽ More

Interferometric Single-Shot Parity Measurement in an InAs-Al Hybrid Device
Abstract: The fusion of non-Abelian anyons or topological defects is a fundamental operation in measurement-only topological quantum computation. As a step towards this, we implement a single-shot interferometric measurement of fermion parity in indium arsenide-aluminum heterostruct… ▽ More

Scalar Product for a Version of Minisuperspace Model with Grassmann Variables
Abstract: Grassmann variables are used to formally transform a system with constraints into an unconstrained system. As a result, the Schrödinger equation arises instead of the Wheeler-DeWitt one. The Schrödinger equation describes a system's evolution, but a definition of the scalar product is needed to calculate the mean values of the operators. We suggest an explicit formula for the scalar product relate… ▽ More

Rotational Curves of the Milky Way Galaxy and Andromeda Galaxy in Light of Vacuum Polarization around Eicheon

That is, the dark matter in the Milky Way Galaxy is explained as the F-type of vacuum polarization, which could be treated as dark radiation. The model presented is spherically symmet… ▽ More

The unified theory of chirped-pulse oscillators
Abstract: A completely analytical theory of chirped-pulse oscillators is presented. The theory is based on an approximate integration of the generalized nonlinear complex Ginzburg-Landau equation. The obtained parametric space of a chirped-pulse oscillator allows easy tracing the characteristics of both solid-state and fiber oscillators operating in the positive dispersion regime.

Chirped-pulse oscillators: a unified standpoint
Abstract: A completely analytical and unified approach to the theory of chirped-pulse oscillators is presented. The approach developed is based on the approximate integration of the generalized nonlinear complex Ginzburg-Landau equation and demonstrates that a chirped-pulse oscillator is controlled by only two parameters. It makes it easy to trace spread of the real-world characteristics of both solid-sta… ▽ More

The influence of microwave radiation on the state of chromatin in human cells
Abstract: Isolated human buccal epithelium cell were irradiated by microwaves at frequency f=35 GHz and surface power density E=30 mcW/cm2. The state of chromatin in human cells was determined by methodsof light and electron microscopy. The state of cell membranes was evaluated by the method of vital indigo carmine staining. The microwave-induced condensation of chromatin in human cells was revealed. Left… ▽ More

Chirped-pulse oscillators: an impact of the dynamic gain saturation
Abstract: An effect of the dynamic gain saturation on chirped-pulse oscillator was investigated. It was found, that the dynamic gain saturation causes strong perturbations of the pulse front that destabilizes an oscillator. As a result, the chirped-pulse exists only within some limited range of dispersions and there is a limit of energy growth for a given resonator period.

Mode-locked oscillators in the positive and negative dispersion regimes: scenarios of destabilization
Abstract: We analyze the influence of spectrally modulated dispersion and loss on the stability of mode-locked oscillators. In the negative dispersion regime, a soliton oscillator can be stabilized in a close proximity to zero-dispersion wavelength, when spectral modulation of dispersion and loss are strong and weak, respectively. If the dispersion is close to zero but positive, we observe chaotic mode-lo… ▽ More

Functional minimization method addressed to the vacuum finding for an arbitrary driven quantum oscillator
Abstract: The old problem exists for a driven (time-dependent) quantum oscillator: to differ the true vacuum state from the squeezed one. We suggest finding the true vacuum state by minimization of the functional containing the difference of the potential and kinetic energies of oscillator. Analytical and numerical examples confirming this offer are considered.

Quantum mechanics of the closed collapsing Universe
Abstract: Two approaches to quantization of Freedman's closed Universe are compared. In the first approach, the Shrodinger's norm of the wave function of Universe is used, and in the second approach, the Klein-Gordon's norm is used. The second one allows building the quasi-Heisenberg operators as functions of time and finding their average values. It is shown that the average value of the Universe scale f… ▽ More
