Asymptotics of Redistricting the $n\times n$ grid
Abstract: How many ways are there to redistrict the $n\times n$ grid into $n$ districts of equal size? How many of these redistricting plans are compact? In this article we give asymptotic bounds on the number of plans, showing there are exponentially many in $n^2$. We then use the lower bound to show that most plans are as least compact as possible.

Maximal persistence in random clique complexes
Abstract: We study the persistent homology of an Erdős--Rényi random clique complex filtration on $n$ vertices. Here, each edge $e$ appears at a time $p_e \in [0,1]$ chosen uniform randomly in the interval, and the \emph{persistence} of a cycle $σ$ is defined as $p_2 / p_1$, where $p_1$ and $p_2$ are the birth and death times of the cycle respectively. Asymptotic Betti numbers for hard squares in the homological liquid regime
