Scaling dimensions at large charge for cubic $φ^3$ theory in six dimensions
Abstract: The $O(N)$ model with scalar quartic interactions at its ultraviolet fixed point, and the $O(N)$ model with scalar cubic interactions at its infra-red fixed point are conjectured to be equivalent. This has been checked by comparing various features of the two models at their respective fixed points. Recently, the scaling dimensions of a family of operators of fixed charge $Q$ have been shown to ma… ▽ More

Anomalous dimensions at large charge for $U(N)\times U(N)$ theory in three and four dimensions
Abstract: Recently it was shown that the scaling dimension of the operator $φ^n$ in $λ(\barφφ)^2$ theory may be computed semiclassically at the Wilson-Fisher fixed point in $d=4-ε$, for generic values of $λn$, and this was verified to two loop order in perturbation theory at leading and subleading $n$. Grand Unified Theories in Renormalisable, Classically Scale Invariant Gravity

Zero modes in de Sitter background
Abstract: There are five well-known zero modes among the fluctuations of the metric of de~Sitter (dS) spacetime. We analyse in detail the effect of three-loop running on the sparticle spectrum for the MSSM Snowmass Benchmark Points. We also consider the effect on these spectra of additional matter multiplets (the semi-perturbative unification scenario).

R-parity Violation and General Soft Supersymmetry Breaking
Abstract: We consider the most general class possible of soft supersymmetry breaking terms that can be added to the MSSM, with and without R-parity violation, consistent with the sole requirement that no quadratic divergences are induced. We renormalise the resulting theory through one loop and give an example of how a previously ignored term might affect the sparticle spectrum.

Yukawa Textures and the mu-term
Abstract: We show how with an anomaly-free U(1), simple assumptions concerning the origin of Yukawa textures and the Higgs mu-term lead to the prediction of a new physics scale of 10^8GeV and automatic conservation of baryon number.

Three loop soft running, benchmark points and semi-perturbative unification
Abstract: We consider three-loop $β$-function corrections to the sparticle spectrum in the MSSM, with particular emphasis on Snowmass Benchmark points. The three loop running has little effect on the weakly interacting particle spectrum, but for the squark masses the effect can be comparable to, or greater than, that of two loop running. We extend the analysis to the semi-perturbative unification scenario… ▽ More

Yukawa Textures and Anomaly Mediated Supersymmetry Breaking
Abstract: We present a detailed analysis of how a mixed-anomaly-free U(1) symmetry can be used to both resolve the slepton mass problem associated with Anomaly Mediated Supersymmetry Breaking and generate the fermion mass hierarchy via the Froggatt-Nielsen mechanism. Flavour changing neutral currents problems are evaded by a specific form of the Yukawa textures.

General classical solutions in the noncommutative CP^(N-1) model
Abstract: We give an explicit construction of general classical solutions for the noncommutative CP^(N-1) model in two dimensions, showing that they correspond to integer values for the action and topological charge. We also give explicit solutions for the Dirac equation in the background of these general solutions and show that the index theorem is satisfied.

Fayet-Iliopoulos D-terms, neutrino masses and anomaly mediated supersymmetry breaking
Abstract: We explore, in the context of the MSSM generalised to admit massive neutrinos, an extension of the Anomaly Mediated Supersymmetry Breaking solution for the soft scalar masses to incorporate Fayet-Iliopoulos D-terms. The slepton mass problem characteristic of the scenario is resolved, and the fermion mass hierarchy is explained via the Froggatt-Nielsen mechanism. FCNC problems are evaded by a com… ▽ More

The Standard Model Effective Potential at Two Loops
