Study of the decay and production properties of $D_{s1}(2536)$ and $D_{s2}^*(2573)$

Abstract: The $e^+e^-\rightarrow D_s^+D_{s1}(2536)^-$ and $e^+e^-\rightarrow D_s^+D^*_{s2}(2573)^-$ processes are studied using data samples collected with the BESIII detector at center-of-mass energies from 4.530 to 4.946~GeV. The absolute branching fractions of $D_{s1}(2536)^- \rightarrow \bar{D}^{*0}K^-$ and $D_{s2}^*(2573)^- \rightarrow \bar{D}^0K^-$ are measured for the first time to be… ▽ More The $e^+e^-\rightarrow D_s^+D_{s1}(2536)^-$ and $e^+e^-\rightarrow D_s^+D^*_{s2}(2573)^-$ processes are studied using data samples collected with the BESIII detector at center-of-mass energies from 4.530 to 4.946~GeV. The absolute branching fractions of $D_{s1}(2536)^- \rightarrow \bar{D}^{*0}K^-$ and $D_{s2}^*(2573)^- \rightarrow \bar{D}^0K^-$ are measured for the first time to be $(35.9\pm 4.8\pm 3.5)\%$ and $(37.4\pm 3.1\pm 4.6)\%$, respectively. The measurements are in tension with predictions based on the assumption that the $D_{s1}(2536)$ and $D_{s2}^*(2573)$ are dominated by a bare $c\bar{s}$ component. The $e^+e^-\rightarrow D_s^+D_{s1}(2536)^-$ and $e^+e^-\rightarrow D_s^+D^*_{s2}(2573)^-$ cross sections are measured, and a resonant structure at around 4.6~GeV with a width of 50~MeV is observed for the first time with a statistical significance of $15σ$ in the $e^+e^-\rightarrow D_s^+D^*_{s2}(2573)^-$ process. It could be the $Y(4626)$ found by the Belle collaboration in the $D_s^+D_{s1}(2536)^{-}$ final state, since they have similar masses and widths. Infer Induced Sentiment of Comment Response to Video: A New Task, Dataset and Baseline

Abstract: Existing video multi-modal sentiment analysis mainly focuses on the sentiment expression of people within the video, yet often neglects the induced sentiment of viewers while watching the videos. Induced sentiment of viewers is essential for inferring the public response to videos, has broad application in analyzing public societal sentiment, effectiveness of advertising and other areas. The micro… ▽ More Existing video multi-modal sentiment analysis mainly focuses on the sentiment expression of people within the video, yet often neglects the induced sentiment of viewers while watching the videos. Induced sentiment of viewers is essential for inferring the public response to videos, has broad application in analyzing public societal sentiment, effectiveness of advertising and other areas. The micro videos and the related comments provide a rich application scenario for viewers induced sentiment analysis. In light of this, we introduces a novel research task, Multi-modal Sentiment Analysis for Comment Response of Video Induced(MSA-CRVI), aims to inferring opinions and emotions according to the comments response to micro video. Meanwhile, we manually annotate a dataset named Comment Sentiment toward to Micro Video (CSMV) to support this research. It is the largest video multi-modal sentiment dataset in terms of scale and video duration to our knowledge, containing 107,267 comments and 8,210 micro videos with a video duration of 68.83 hours. To infer the induced sentiment of comment should leverage the video content, so we propose the Video Content-aware Comment Sentiment Analysis (VC-CSA) method as baseline to address the challenges inherent in this new task. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method is showing significant improvements over other established baselines. △ Less

Measurement of the branching fraction of the decay $J/ψ\to p \bar{p} η$

Abstract: A high precision measurement of the branching fraction of the decay $J/ψ\to p \bar{p} η$ is performed using $(10 087 \pm 44) \times 10^6$ $J/ψ$ events recorded by the {BESIII} detector at the {BEPCII} storage ring. The branching fractions of the two decays $J/ψ\to p \bar{p} η(η\to γγ)$ and $J/ψ\to p \bar{p} η(η\to π^+ π^- π^0)$ are measured individually to be $\mathcal{B}(J/ψ\to p \bar{p} η(η\to γγ)) = (1.480 \pm 0.001 \pm 0.024)\times\,10^{-3}$ and $\mathcal{B}(J/ψ\to p \bar{p} η(η\to π^+ π^- π^0)) = (1.557 \pm 0.003 \pm 0.038)\times\,10^{-3}$, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic. Both results are compatible within their uncorrelated systematic uncertainties. The combined result is $\mathcal{B}(J/ψ\to p \bar{p} η)=(1.495 \pm 0.001 \pm 0.023)\times\,10^{-3}$ where the first uncertainty is the combined statistical uncertainty and the second one the combined systematic uncertainty of both analyses, incorporating correlations between them. In addition, the $p \bar{p}$ threshold region is investigated for a potential threshold enhancement, and no evidence for one is observed. △ Less

Abstract: Analyzing $e^+e^-$ collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $7.33~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ collected at center-of-mass energies between 4.128 and 4.226~GeV with the BESIII detector, we measure the branching fraction of the semileptonic decay $D^+_{s}\to K^0 e^+ν_e$ to be $(2.98\pm0.23\pm0.12)\times10^{-3}$. The $D_s^+\to K^0$ hadronic form factor is determined from the differential decay rate of $D^+_s\to K^0 e^+ν_e$ to be $f^{K^0}_+(0)=0.636\pm0.049\pm0.013$. For both measurements, the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. Combining with the known branching fractions of $Λ_c^+ \to pK_{S}^{0}$, $Λ_c^+ \to pK_{S}^{0}π^+π^-$, and $Λ_c^+ \to pK_{S}^{0}π^0$, we present the first measurements of the $K_{S}^{0}$-$K_{L}^{0}$ asymmetries $R(Λ_c^+, K_{S,L}^0X) = \frac{\mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+ \to K_{S}^{0} X) - \mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+ \to K_{L}^{0} X)}{\mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+ \to K_{S}^{0} X) + \mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+ \to K_{L}^{0} X)}$ in charmed baryon decays: $R(Λ_c^+, pK_{S,L}^0) = -0.025 \pm 0.031$, $R(Λ_c^+, pK_{S,L}^0π^+π^-) = -0.027 \pm 0.048$, and $R(Λ_c^+, pK_{S,L}^0π^0) =-0.015 \pm 0.046$. Abstract: Based on $2.7 \times 10^9~ψ(3686)$ decays collected with the BESIII detector, the radiative decay $ψ(3686)\to\gamma2(π^{+}π^{-})η$ is investigated to measure properties of S- and P-wave charmonium states. The branching fraction of the decay $η_{c}(1S) \to 2(π^{+}π^{-})η$, which is found to have a strong dependence on the interference pattern between $η_c(1S)$ and non-$η_c(1S)$ processes, is measur… ▽ More Based on $2.7 \times 10^9~ψ(3686)$ decays collected with the BESIII detector, the radiative decay $ψ(3686)\to\gamma2(π^{+}π^{-})η$ is investigated to measure properties of S- and P-wave charmonium states. The branching fraction of the decay $η_{c}(1S) \to 2(π^{+}π^{-})η$, which is found to have a strong dependence on the interference pattern between $η_c(1S)$ and non-$η_c(1S)$ processes, is measured in both destructive and constructive interference scenarios for the first time. The mass and width of the $η_{c}(1S)$ are measured to be $M=(2984.14 \pm 0.13 \pm 0.38)$ MeV/$c^{2}$ and $Γ=(28.82 \pm 0.11 \pm 0.82)$ MeV, respectively. Clear signals for the decays of the $χ_{cJ}(J=0,1,2)$ and the $η_{c}(2S)$ to $2(π^{+}π^{-})η$ are also observed for the first time, and the corresponding branching fractions are measured. The ratio of the branching fractions between the $η_{c}(2S)$ and $η_{c}(1S)$ decays is significantly lower than the theoretical prediction, which might suggest different dynamics in their decays. △ Less

Abstract: The $J/ψ, ψ(3686) \to Σ^0 \barΣ^{0}$ processes and subsequent decays are studied using the world's largest $J/ψ$ and $ψ(3686)$ data samples collected with the BESIII detector. The strong-$CP$ symmetry is tested in the decays of the $Σ^0$ hyperons for the first time by measuring the decay parameters, $α_{Σ^0} = -0.0017 \pm 0.0021 \pm 0.0018$ and $\barα_{Σ^0} = 0.0021 \pm 0.0020 \pm 0.0022$. The weak-$CP$ test is performed in the subsequent decays of their daughter particles $Λ$ and $\barΛ$. Also for the first time, the transverse polarizations of the $Σ^0$ hyperons in $J/ψ$ and $ψ(3686)$ decays are observed with opposite directions, and the ratios between the S-wave and D-wave contributions of the $J/ψ, ψ(3686) \to Σ^0 \barΣ^{0}$ decays are obtained. Abstract: Based on $(2712.4\pm 14.3)\times10^{6}$ $ψ(3686)$ events, we investigate four hadronic decay modes of the $P$-wave charmonium spin-singlet state $h_c(^1P_1) \to h^+ h^- π^0/η$ ($h=π$ or $K$) via the process $ψ(3686) \to π^{0}h_c$ at BESIII. Multi-mode delta Sct stars from the Zwicky Transient Facility Survey

Abstract: We obtain the largest catalog of multi-mode $δ$ Sct stars in the northern sky to date using the Zwicky Transient Facility (ZTF) Data Release 20 (DR20). The catalog includes 2254 objects, of which 2181 are new to our study. Among these multi-mode $δ$ Sct stars, 2142 objects are double-mode $δ$ Sct, while 109 objects are triple-mode $δ$ Sct and 3 are quadruple-mode $δ$ Sct. By analyzing the light cu… ▽ More We obtain the largest catalog of multi-mode $δ$ Sct stars in the northern sky to date using the Zwicky Transient Facility (ZTF) Data Release 20 (DR20). The catalog includes 2254 objects, of which 2181 are new to our study. By analyzing the light curves in the $r$ and $g$ bands of the ZTF, we determine the basic parameters of multi-mode $δ$ Sct stars, including the periods and amplitudes. Periods are checked by comparison with the OGLE catalog of double-mode $δ$ Sct stars. On the Petersen diagram, multi-mode $δ$ Sct stars form six sequences. We find that in Galactic coordinates, the periods of 1O/F double-mode $δ$ Sct stars at high latitudes are shorter than those of 1O/F double-mode $δ$ Sct stars in the disk, due to metallicity variations. In the future, our catalog can be used to establish the period--luminosity relation and the period--metallicity relation of double-mode $δ$ Sct stars, and to study the Galactic structure. △ Less

With the end of Moore's Law, electronic computing methods are encountering developmental bottlenecks. With its enviable potential, optical computing has successfully achieved high-speed operation of designed complex numbers. However, the challenge of processing and manipulating arbitrary complex numbers persists. This study introduces a generalized complex exponential operator (GCEO), utilizing a diffractive optical neural network (DONN) for the computation of the complex exponential through Euler's formula. Experiments validate a series of complex exponential calculations using the GCEO. The GCEO has demonstrated generalizability and can compute inputs of any precision within an appropriate error margin. The proposed operator highlights the immense potential of DONN in optical computation and is poised to significantly contribute to the development of computational methods for optoelectronic integration. △ Less

VAE-Var: Variational-Autoencoder-Enhanced Variational Assimilation

Variational assimilation methods rely on the maximum likelihood approach to formulate a variational cost, with the optimal state estimate derived by minimizing this cost. Although traditional variational methods have achieved great success and have been widely used in many numerical weather prediction centers, they generally assume Gaussian errors in the background states, which limits the accuracy of these algorithms due to the inherent inaccuracies of this assumption. In this paper, we introduce VAE-Var, a novel variational algorithm that leverages a variational autoencoder (VAE) to model a non-Gaussian estimate of the background error distribution. We theoretically derive the variational cost under the VAE estimation and present the general formulation of VAE-Var; we implement VAE-Var on low-dimensional chaotic systems and demonstrate through experimental results that VAE-Var consistently outperforms traditional variational assimilation methods in terms of accuracy across various observational settings. △ Less

The core of multi-domain recommendation is effectively modeling the commonalities and distinctions among domains. Existing works are dedicated to designing model architectures for implicit multi-domain modeling while overlooking an in-depth investigation from a more fundamental perspective of feature distributions. This paper focuses on features with significant differences across various domains in both distributions and effects on model predictions. We refer to these features as domain-sensitive features, which serve as carriers of domain distinctions and are crucial for multi-domain modeling. Experiments demonstrate that existing multi-domain modeling methods may neglect domain-sensitive features, indicating insufficient learning of domain distinctions. To avoid this neglect, we propose a domain-sensitive feature attribution method to identify features that best reflect domain distinctions from the feature set. Further, we design a memory architecture that extracts domain-specific information from domain-sensitive features for the model to retrieve and integrate, thereby enhancing the awareness of domain distinctions. Extensive offline and online experiments demonstrate the superiority of our method in capturing domain distinctions and improving multi-domain recommendation performance. △ Less

The measurements are consistent with the previous results with improved precision by a factor of 2. The results are valuable for gaining a deeper understanding of $η-η^\prime$ mixing, and its manifestation within quantum chromodynamics. Discrete Gauge Anomalies and Instantons

The latter, known to plague $d=4$ $Sp(k)$ theories, is well-understood in terms of $π_4(Sp(k))=\mathbb{Z}_2$, but it also has an oblique relation to the instantons, labeled by $π_3(G)=\mathbb{Z}$, via the fermion zero mode counting. Novel Class Discovery for Ultra-Fine-Grained Visual Categorization

Compared to traditional fine-grained visual categorization, Ultra-FGVC encounters more hurdles due to the small inter-class and large intra-class variation. Given these challenges, relying on human annotation for Ultra-FGVC is… ▽ More Ultra-fine-grained visual categorization (Ultra-FGVC) aims at distinguishing highly similar sub-categories within fine-grained objects, such as different soybean cultivars. Compared to traditional fine-grained visual categorization, Ultra-FGVC encounters more hurdles due to the small inter-class and large intra-class variation. Given these challenges, relying on human annotation for Ultra-FGVC is impractical. To this end, our work introduces a novel task termed Ultra-Fine-Grained Novel Class Discovery (UFG-NCD), which leverages partially annotated data to identify new categories of unlabeled images for Ultra-FGVC. To tackle this problem, we devise a Region-Aligned Proxy Learning (RAPL) framework, which comprises a Channel-wise Region Alignment (CRA) module and a Semi-Supervised Proxy Learning (SemiPL) strategy. The CRA module is designed to extract and utilize discriminative features from local regions, facilitating knowledge transfer from labeled to unlabeled classes. Furthermore, SemiPL strengthens representation learning and knowledge transfer with proxy-guided supervised learning and proxy-guided contrastive learning. Such techniques leverage class distribution information in the embedding space, improving the mining of subtle differences between labeled and unlabeled ultra-fine-grained classes. Extensive experiments demonstrate that RAPL significantly outperforms baselines across various datasets, indicating its effectiveness in handling the challenges of UFG-NCD. With the $e^+e^-\toωX(3872)$ process, the branching fraction ratio $R\equiv\frac{\mathcal{B}(X(3872)\toγJ/ψ)}{\mathcal{B}(X(3872)\toπ^+π^- J/ψ)}$ is measured to be $0.38\pm0.20_\text{stat.}\pm0.01_\text{syst.}$ ($R< 0.83$ at 90\% confidence level). In addition, we measure the ratio of the average cross section of $e^+e^-\toωX(3872)$ to $e^+e^-\toωχ_{c1}(ωχ_{c2})$ to be $σ_{ωX(3872)}/σ_{ωχ_{c1}}~(σ_{ωX(3872)}/σ_{ωχ_{c2}})=5.2\pm1.0_\text{stat.}\pm1.9_\text{syst.}~ (5.5\pm1.1_\text{stat.}\pm2.4_\text{syst.})$. Finally, we search for the process of $e^+e^-\toγX(3872)$, and no obvious signal is observed. Rethinking Clothes Changing Person ReID: Conflicts, Synthesis, and Optimization

Mainstream researches focus on designing advanced model structures and strategies to capture identity information independent of clothing. However, the same-clothes discrimination as the standard ReID learning objective in CC-ReID is persistently ignored in previous researches.… ▽ More Clothes-changing person re-identification (CC-ReID) aims to retrieve images of the same person wearing different outfits. Mainstream researches focus on designing advanced model structures and strategies to capture identity information independent of clothing. However, the same-clothes discrimination as the standard ReID learning objective in CC-ReID is persistently ignored in previous researches. In this study, we dive into the relationship between standard and clothes-changing~(CC) learning objectives, and bring the inner conflicts between these two objectives to the fore. We try to magnify the proportion of CC training pairs by supplementing high-fidelity clothes-varying synthesis, produced by our proposed Clothes-Changing Diffusion model. By incorporating the synthetic images into CC-ReID model training, we observe a significant improvement under CC protocol. However, such improvement sacrifices the performance under the standard protocol, caused by the inner conflict between standard and CC. For conflict mitigation, we decouple these objectives and re-formulate CC-ReID learning as a multi-objective optimization (MOO) problem. By effectively regularizing the gradient curvature across multiple objectives and introducing preference restrictions, our MOO solution surpasses the single-task training paradigm. Our framework is model-agnostic, and demonstrates superior performance under both CC and standard ReID protocols. △ Less

Abstract: We report the first amplitude analysis of the decays $D^{0} \to π^{+} π^{-} η$ and $D^{+} \rightarrow π^{+}π^{0}η$ using a data sample taken with the BESIII detector at the center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 7.9 ${\rm fb}^{-1}$. The contribution from the process $D^{0(+)} \to a_{0}(980)^{+} π^{-(0)}$ is significantly larger than the… ▽ More We report the first amplitude analysis of the decays $D^{0} \to π^{+} π^{-} η$ and $D^{+} \rightarrow π^{+}π^{0}η$ using a data sample taken with the BESIII detector at the center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 7.9 ${\rm fb}^{-1}$. The contribution from the process $D^{0(+)} \to a_{0}(980)^{+} π^{-(0)}$ is significantly larger than the $D^{0(+)} \to a_{0}(980)^{-(0)} π^{+}$ contribution. The ratios $\mathcal{B}(D^{0} \rightarrow a_{0}(980)^{+}π^{-})/\mathcal{B}(D^{0} \rightarrow a_{0}(980)^{-}π^{+})$ and $\mathcal{B}(D^{+} \rightarrow a_{0}(980)^{+}π^{0})/\mathcal{B}(D^{+} \rightarrow a_{0}(980)^{0}π^{+})$ are measured to be $7.5^{+2.5}_{-0.8\,\mathrm{stat.}}\pm1.7_{\mathrm{syst.}}$ and $2.6\pm0.6_{\mathrm{stat.}}\pm0.3_{\mathrm{syst.}}$, respectively. The measured $D^{0}$ ratio disagrees with the theoretical predictions by orders of magnitudes, thus implying a substantial contribution from final-state interactions. △ Less

I-mode Plasma Confinement Improvement by Real-time Lithium Injection and its Classification on EAST Tokamak

However, the effect of lithium, which has been widely applied for particle recycling and impurity control, on I-mode plasma is still unclear. Recently, experiments of real-time lithium powder injection on I-mode plasma have been carried out in EAST Tokamak. However, the effect of lithium, which has been widely applied for particle recycling and impurity control, on I-mode plasma is still unclear. Recently, experiments of real-time lithium powder injection on I-mode plasma have been carried out in EAST Tokamak. It was found that the confinement performance of the I-mode can be improved by the lithium powder injection, which can strongly reduce electron turbulence (ET) and then trigger ion turbulence (IT). Four different regimes of I-mode have been identified in EAST. The Type I I-mode plasma is characterized by the weakly coherent mode (WCM) and the geodesic-acoustic mode (GAM). The Type II I-mode is featured as the WCM and the edge temperature ring oscillation (ETRO). The Type III I-mode corresponds to the plasma with the co-existence of ETRO, GAM, and WCM. The Type IV I-mode denotes the plasma with only WCM but without ETRO and GAM. It has been observed that WCM and ETRO are increased with lithium powder injection due to the reduction of ion and electron turbulence, and the enhancement of the pedestal electron temperature gradient. EAST experiments demonstrate that lithium powder injection is an effective tool for real-time control and confinement improvement of I-mode plasma. △ Less

No significant signal for the three four-body decays of $D_{s}^{+}\to π^{+}π^{0}e^{+}e^{-},\ D_{s}^{+}\to K^{+}π^{0}e^{+}e^{-}$, and $D_{s}^{+}\to K_{S}^{0}π^{+}e^{+}e^{-}$ is observed. For $D_{s}^{+}\to π^{+}π^{0}e^{+}e^{-}$, the $φ$ mass region is vetoed to minimize the long-distance effects. Abstract: We search for the hadronic decay $η_c(2S)\to 2(π^+π^-)$ in the $ψ(3686)\toγη_c(2S)$ radiative decay using $(27.12\pm 0.14)\times 10^8$ $ψ(3686)$ events collected by the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider. Abstract: By analyzing $e^+e^-$ annihilation data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.93 $\rm fb^{-1}$ collected at a center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV with the \text{BESIII} detector, the first observation of the semileptonic decays $D^0\rightarrow K_S^0π^-π^0 e^+ ν_e$ and $D^+\rightarrow K_S^0π^+π^- e^+ ν_e$ is reported. With a dominant hadronic contribution from $K_1(1270)$, the branching fra… ▽ More By analyzing $e^+e^-$ annihilation data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.93 $\rm fb^{-1}$ collected at a center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV with the \text{BESIII} detector, the first observation of the semileptonic decays $D^0\rightarrow K_S^0π^-π^0 e^+ ν_e$ and $D^+\rightarrow K_S^0π^+π^- e^+ ν_e$ is reported. With a dominant hadronic contribution from $K_1(1270)$, the branching fractions are measured to be $\mathcal{B}(D^0\rightarrow {K}_1(1270)^-(\to K^0_Sπ^-π^0)e^+ν_e)=(1.69^{+0.53}_{-0.46}\pm0.15)\times10^{-4}$ and $\mathcal{B}(D^+\to \bar{K}_1(1270)^0(\to K^0_Sπ^+π^-)e^+ν_e)=(1.47^{+0.45}_{-0.40}\pm0.20)\times10^{-4}$ with statistical significance of 5.4$σ$ and 5.6$σ$, respectively. When combined with measurements of the $K_1(1270)\to K^+π^-π$ decays, the absolute branching fractions are determined to be $\mathcal{B}(D^0\to K_1(1270)^-e^+ν_e)=(1.05^{+0.33}_{-0.28}\pm0.12\pm0.12)\times10^{-3}$ and $\mathcal{B}(D^+\to \bar{K}_1(1270)^0e^+ν_e)=(1.29^{+0.40}_{-0.35}\pm0.18\pm0.15)\times10^{-3}$. Four-body Semileptonic Decays $B\to D^*P\ell^+ν_\ell$ with the SU(3) Flavor Symmetry

Abstract: We present a complete study of the $B\to D^*P\ell^+ν_\ell~(\ell=e,μ,τ)$ decays with the non-resonant, the charmed axial vector resonant and the charmed tensor resonant contributions by using the SU(3) flavor symmetry. Relevant amplitude relations between different decay modes are obtained by the SU(3) flavor symmetry. Decays $B^0_s\to D_s^{*-}π^0\ell^+ν_\ell$ only receive the $D'_{s1}$ resonant contributions. Other decays receive all three kinds of contributions, and three kinds of contributions are important in most of decays. △ Less

The absolute branching fraction of $D^0\to K^-π^0μ^{+}ν_μ$ is measured for the first time to be $(0.729 \pm 0.014_{\rm stat} \pm 0.011_{\rm syst})\%$. Based on an amplitude analysis, the $S\text{-}{\rm wave}$ contribution is determined to be $(5.76 \pm 0.35_{\rm stat} \pm 0.29_{\rm syst})\%$ of the total decay rate in addition to the dominated $K^{*}(892)^-$ component. The branching fraction of $D^0\to K^{*}(892)^-μ^+ν_μ$ is given to be $(2.062 \pm 0.039_{\rm stat} \pm 0.032_{\rm syst})\%$, which improves the precision of the world average by a factor of 5. Combining with the world average of ${\mathcal B}(D^0\to K^{*}(892)^-e^+ν_e)$, the ratio of the branching fractions obtained is $\frac{{\mathcal B}(D^0\to K^{*}(892)^-μ^+ν_μ)}{{\mathcal B}(D^0\to K^{*}(892)^-e^+ν_e)} = 0.96\pm0.08$, in agreement with lepton flavor universality. Furthermore, assuming single-pole dominance parameterization, the most precise hadronic form factor ratios for $D^0\to K^{*}(892)^{-} μ^+ν_μ$ are extracted to be $r_{V}=V(0)/A_1(0)=1.37 \pm 0.09_{\rm stat} \pm 0.03_{\rm syst}$ and $r_{2}=A_2(0)/A_1(0)=0.76 \pm 0.06_{\rm stat} \pm 0.02_{\rm syst}$. △ Less

However, the mass heterogeneous resources composition and lack of scheduling strategies make the modeling and cooperating of multi-edge computing system particularly complicated. This paper first proposes a system-level state evaluation model to shield the complex hardware configurations and redefine the different service capabilities at heterogeneous edges. Secondly, an integer linear programming model is designed to cater for optimally dispatching the distributed arriving requests. Finally, a learning-based lightweight real-time scheduler, CoRaiS, is proposed. CoRaiS embeds the real-time states of multi-edge system and requests information, and combines the embeddings with a policy network to schedule the requests, so that the response time of all requests can be minimized. Evaluation results verify that CoRaiS can make a high-quality scheduling decision in real time, and can be generalized to other multi-edge computing system, regardless of system scales. Characteristic validation also demonstrates that CoRaiS successfully learns to balance loads, perceive real-time state and recognize heterogeneity while scheduling. △ Less

Determination of the number of $ψ(3686)$ events taken at BESIII

Abstract: The number of $ψ(3686)$ events collected by the BESIII detector during the 2021 run period is determined to be $(2259.3\pm 11.1)\times 10^6$ by counting inclusive $ψ(3686)$ hadronic events. The uncertainty is systematic and the statistical uncertainty is negligible. CSCNET: Class-Specified Cascaded Network for Compositional Zero-Shot Learning

Inspired by this, we propose a novel A-O disentangled framework for CZSL, namely Class-specified Cascaded Network (CSCNet). The key insight is to firstly classify one primitive and then specifies the predicted class as a priori for guiding another primitive recognition in a cascaded fashion. To this end, CSCNet constructs Attribute-to-Object and Object-to-Attribute cascaded branches, in addition to a composition branch modeling the two primitives as a whole. Notably, we devise a parametric classifier (ParamCls) to improve the matching between visual and semantic embeddings. By improving the A-O disentanglement, our framework achieves superior results than previous competitive methods. △ Less
