$L^p$ estimate of the heat equation on a bounded domain
Abstract: We consider the linear heat equation on a bounded domain. We study estimates of the derivatives, up to the second order, of the solution locally in time in the Lebesgue spaces. We give a self-contained proof of the estimates in the end-point cases $p = 1, \infty$.

On the uniqueness of the mild solution of the critical quasi-geostrophic equation
Abstract: We demonstrate that the uniqueness of the mild solution of the two-dimensional quasi-geostrophic equation with the critical dissipation holds in the scaling critical homogeneous Besov space $\dot{B}^0_{\infty,1}$. We consider a solustion of integral equation, and our result does not need regularity assumption.

Remark on the uniqueness of the mild solution of SQG equation
Abstract: We study the two-dimensional surface quasi-geostrophic equation. Motivated by the uniqueness for the three-dimensional incompressible Navier-Stokes equations, we demonstrate that the uniqueness of the mild solution of the two-dimensional surface quasi-geostrophic equation holds in the scaling critical Lebesgue space with a unique structure of the non-linear term.

Optimal Decay Estimates for the Radially Symmetric Compressible Navier-Stokes Equations
Abstract: We examine the large-time behaviour of solutions to the compressible Navier-Stokes equations under the assumption of radial symmetry. In particular, we calculate a fast time-decay estimate of the norm of the nonlinear part of the solution. This allows us to obtain a bound from below for the time-decay of the solution in $L^\infty$, proving that our decay estimate in that space is sharp. The decay… ▽ More

Optimality of the Decay Estimate of Solutions to the Linearised Curl-Free Compressible Navier-Stokes Equations
Abstract: We discuss optimal estimates of solutions to the compressible Navier-Stokes equations in Besov norms. In particular, we consider the estimate of the curl-free part of the solution to the linearised equations, in the homogeneous case. We prove that our estimate is optimal in the $L^\infty$-norm by showing that the norm is bounded from below by the same decay rate.

On the ill-posedness for the full system of compressible Navier-Stokes equations
Abstract: We consider the Cauchy problem for compressible Navier--Stokes equations of the ideal gas in the three-dimensional spaces. It is known that the Cauchy problem in the scaling critical spaces of the homogeneous Besov spaces $\dot B^{\frac{3}{p}}_{p,1}\times\dot B^{-1+\frac{3}{p}}_{p,1}\times\dot B^{-2+\frac{3}{p}}_{p,1}$ is uniquely solvable for all $1 < p<3$ and is ill-posed for all $p>3$. Sobolev spaces on arbitrary domains and semigroups generated by fractional Laplacian
Abstract: We describe a procedure to introduce Sobolev spaces and the semigroup generated by the fractional Dirichlet Laplacian on an arbitrary domain of $\R^d$. In particular, the well-definedness of the spaces of both non-homogeneous and homogeneous type together with their duality properties, embeddings, and Gagliardo-Nirenberg inequalities will be discussed. Energy conservation law for weak solutions of the full compressible Navier-Stokes equations
Abstract: We consider a sufficient condition for the energy conservation law of a weak solution for the full compressible Navier-Stokes equations on the torus. We prove that a weak solution constructed by Feireisl with certain integrability conditions conserve the energy. Our assumption relaxes the regularity condition for the density compared with existing results.

Large-Time Behaviour of Solutions to the Surface Quasi-Geostrophic Equations
Abstract: We construct a linear approximation of the solution to the Surface Quasi-Geostrophic Equation in $\mathbb{R}^2$, and obtain a convergence rate in $L^p$ between the solution and this approximation with respect to time. We also demonstrate that the nonlinear term of the solution is bounded sharply in $L^p$ by the same function of time.

Analyticity and large time behavior for the Burgers equation with the critical dissipation
Abstract: This paper is concerned with the Cauchy problem of the Burgers equation with the critical dissipation. The well-posedness and analyticity in both of the space and the time variables are studied based on the frequency decomposition method. The large time behavior is revealed for any large initial data. As a result, it is shown that any smooth and integrable solution is analytic in space and time as… ▽ More

Backward self-similar solutions for compressible Navier-Stokes equations
Abstract: This article is devoted to backward self-similar blow up solutions of the compressible Navier-Stokes equations with radial symmetry. We show that such solutions cannot exist if they either satisfy an appropriate smallness condition, or have finite energy. Furthermore, numerical simulations lead us to the conjecture that such solutions do not exist.

The Leibniz rule for the Dirichlet and the Neumann Laplacian
Abstract: We study the bilinear estimates in the Sobolev spaces with the Dirichlet and the Neumann boundary condition. The optimal regularity is revealed to get such estimates in the half space case, which is related to not only smoothness of functions and but also boundary behavior. The crucial point for the proof is how to handle boundary values of functions and their derivatives.

The semigroup generated by the Dirichlet Laplacian of fractional order
Abstract: In the whole space $\mathbb R^d$, linear estimates for heat semi-group in Besov spaces are well established, which are estimates of $L^p$-$L^q$ type, maximal regularity, e.t.c. This paper is concerned with such estimates for semi-group generated by the Dirichlet Laplacian of fractional order in terms of the Besov spaces on an arbitrary open set of $\mathbb R^d$.
