The measured Born cross section of $e^{+}e^{-} \rightarrow φη$ is found to be consistent with {\textsl{BABAR}} measurements, but with improved precision. A resonant structure around 2.175 GeV is observed with a significance of 6.9$σ$ with mass ($2163.5\pm6.2\pm3.0$) MeV/$c^{2}$ and width ($31.1_{-11.6}^{+21.1}\pm1.1$) MeV, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic.

This result is significantly smaller than the measurement based on CLEO-c data sets. The decays $χ_{cJ} \rightarrowΛ\barΛ$ are measured via $ψ(3686)\rightarrowγχ_{cJ}$, and the branching fractions are determined to be $\mathcal{B}\left(χ_{c0}\rightarrowΛ\barΛ\right)=(3.64 \pm 0.10 \pm 0.10 \pm 0.07)\times 10^{-4}$, $\mathcal{B}\left(χ_{c1}\rightarrowΛ\barΛ\right)=(1.31\pm0.06 \pm 0.06 \pm0.03)\times 10^{-4}$, $\mathcal{B}\left(χ_{c2}\rightarrowΛ\barΛ\right)=(1.91\pm0.08 \pm 0.17 \pm0.04)\times 10^{-4}$, where the third uncertainties are systematic due to the $ψ(3686) \rightarrow γχ_{c J}$ branching fractions.

Here we present new results for the Born cross section and the effective form factor of the neutron at the center-of-mass energies ${\bf \sqrt{s}}$ between 2.0 and 3.08 GeV, using 18 data sets corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 647.9 pb${\bf ^{-1}}$ from e${\bf ^+}$e${\bf ^-}$ annihilation reactions collected at the BESIII experiment. The process $e^{+}e^{-}\to n\bar{n}$ is analyzed with three individual categories to improve the efficiency of $n\bar{n}$ reconstruction. The cross section of $e^{+}e^{-}\to n\bar{n}$ is measured at 18 c.m. energies where the best precision is 8.1\% at $\sqrt{s}=2.396$ GeV. The corresponding effective form factors are extracted under the assumption $|G_{E}|=|G_{M}|$. Our results improve the statistical precision on the neutron form factor by more than a factor of 60 over previous measurements from the FENICE and DM2 experiments and usher in a new era where neutron form factor data from annihilation in the time-like regime is on par with that from electron scattering experiments. In addition, an oscillatory behavior of the effective form factor observed for the proton is discussed for the neutron.

The decays $D\to K^-π^+π^+π^-$ and $D \to K^-π^+π^0$ are studied in a sample of quantum-correlated $D\bar{D}$ pairs produced through the process $e^+e^- \to ψ(3770) \to D\bar{D}$, exploiting a data set collected by the BESIII experiment that corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 2.93 fb$^{-1}$. Here $D$ indicates a quantum superposition of a $D^0$ and a $\bar{D}^0$ meson. By reconstructing one neutral charm meson in a signal decay, and the other in the same or a different final state, observables are measured that contain information on the coherence factors and average strong-phase differences of each of the signal modes. These parameters are critical inputs in the measurement of the angle $γ$ of the Unitarity Triangle in $B^- \to DK^-$ decays at the LHCb and Belle II experiments. The coherence factors are determined to be $R_{K3π}=0.52^{+0.12}_{-0.10}$ and $R_{Kππ^0}=0.78 \pm 0.04$, with values for the average strong-phase differences that are $δ_D^{K3π}=\left(167^{+31}_{-19}\right)^\circ$ and $δ_D^{Kππ^0}=\left(196^{+14}_{-15}\right)^\circ$, where the uncertainties include both statistical and systematic contributions. The analysis is re-performed in four bins of the phase-space of the $D \to K^-π^+π^+π^-$ to yield results that will allow for a more sensitive measurement of $γ$ with this mode, to which the BESIII inputs will contribute an uncertainty of around 6$^\circ$.

We report new measurements of the branching fraction $\cal B(D_s^+\to \ell^+ν)$, where $\ell^+$ is either $μ^+$ or $τ^+(\toπ^+\barν_τ)$, based on $6.32$ fb$^{-1}$ of electron-positron annihilation data collected by the BESIII experiment at six center-of-mass energy points between $4.178$ and $4.226$ GeV. Simultaneously floating the $D_s^+\toμ^+ν_μ$ and $D_s^+\toτ^+ν_τ$ components yields $\cal B(D_s^+\to τ^+ν_τ) = (5.21\pm0.25\pm0.17)\times10^{-2}$, $\cal B(D_s^+\to μ^+ν_μ) = (5.35\pm0.13\pm0.16)\times10^{-3}$, and the ratio of decay widths $R=\frac{Γ(D_s^+\to τ^+ν_τ)}{Γ(D_s^+\to μ^+ν_μ)} = 9.73^{+0.61}_{-0.58}\pm 0.36$, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic. No evidence of ${\it CP}$ asymmetry is observed in the decay rates $D_s^\pm\toμ^\pmν_μ$ and $D_s^\pm\toτ^\pmν_τ$: $A_{\it CP}(μ^\pmν) = (-1.2\pm2.5\pm1.0)\%$ and $A_{\it CP}(τ^\pmν) = (+2.9\pm4.8\pm1.0)\%$. Constraining our measurement to the Standard Model expectation of lepton universality ($R=9.75$), we find the more precise results $\cal B(D_s^+\to τ^+ν_τ) = (5.22\pm0.10\pm 0.14)\times10^{-2}$ and $A_{\it CP}(τ^\pmν_τ) = (-0.1\pm1.9\pm1.0)\%$. Combining our results with inputs external to our analysis, we determine the $c\to \bar{s}$ quark mixing matrix element, $D_s^+$ decay constant, and ratio of the decay constants to be $|V_{cs}| = 0.973\pm0.009\pm0.014$, $f_{D^+_s} = 249.9\pm2.4\pm3.5~\text{MeV}$, and $f_{D^+_s}/f_{D^+} = 1.232\pm0.035$, respectively.

The process $ψ_2(3823)\rightarrowγχ_{c1}$ is observed in a 9 fb$^{-1}$ data sample in the center-of-mass energy range 4.3 to 4.7 GeV, which confirms a previous observation but with a higher significance of $11.8σ$, and evidence for $ψ_2(3823)\rightarrowγχ_{c2}$ is found with a significance of $3.2σ$ for the first time. The branching-fraction ratio $\frac{\mathcal{B}(ψ_2(3823)\rightarrowγχ_{c2})}{\mathcal{B}(ψ_2(3823)\rightarrowγχ_{c1})}$ is determined. No significant $ψ_2(3823)$ signals are observed for any of the other decay channels. Upper limits of branching-fraction ratios for $ψ_2(3823)\rightarrowπ^+π^-J/ψ, π^0π^0J/ψ, ηJ/ψ, π^0J/ψ, γχ_{c0}$ relative to $ψ_2(3823)\rightarrowγχ_{c1}$ are reported. The process $e^+e^-\rightarrowπ^0π^0ψ_2(3823)$ is also searched for, and we find evidence for the process with a significance of $4.3σ$. The average cross-section ratio $\frac{σ(e^+e^-\rightarrowπ^0π^0ψ_2(3823))}{σ(e^+e^-\rightarrowπ^+π^-ψ_2(3823))}$ is also determined.

For the current world average parameters of the $ψ(4230)$ of $m=4.2187~\textrm{GeV}/c^{2}$ and $Γ=44~\textrm{MeV}$, we find upper limits on resonant production of the $p\bar{p}η$ and $p\bar{p}ω$ final states of $7.5~\textrm{pb}$ and $10.4~\textrm{pb}$ at the $90\%$ CL, respectively.

The Born cross sections for the process $e^+e^- \to η^\prime π^{+}π^{-}$ at different center-of-mass energies between $2.00$ and $3.08$ GeV are reported with improved precision from an analysis of data samples collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII storage ring. An obvious structure is observed in the Born cross section line shape. Fit as a Breit-Wigner resonance, it has a statistical significance of $6.3σ$ and a mass and width of $M=(2111\pm43\pm25)$~MeV/$c^2$ and $Γ=(135\pm34\pm30)$~MeV, where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively. These measured resonance parameters agree with the measurements of BABAR in $e^+e^- \to η^\prime π^{+}π^{-}$ and BESIII in $e^+e^- \to ωπ^0$ within two standard deviations.

We report a measurement of the observed cross sections of the inclusive $J/ψ$ production in $e^+e^-\rightarrow {J}/ψ{\rm X}$ based on 3.21 fb$^{-1}$ of data accumulated at energies from 3.645 to 3.891 GeV with the BESIII detector operated at the BEPCII collider. The energy-dependent lineshape obtained from the measured cross sections cannot be well described by two Breit-Wigner (BW) amplitudes of the expected decays $ψ(3686)\rightarrow {J}/ψ{\rm X}$ and $ψ(3770)\rightarrow {J}/ψ{\rm X}$. Instead it can be better described with three BW amplitudes of the decays $ψ(3686)\rightarrow {J}/ψ{\rm X}$, $R(3760)\rightarrow {J}/ψ{\rm X}$ and $R(3790)\rightarrow {J}/ψ{\rm X}$ with two distinct structures referred to as $R(3760)$ and $R(3790)$. Under this assumption, we extracted their masses, total widths, and the product of the leptonic width and decay branching fractions to be $M_{R(3760)}= {3761.7\pm 2.2 \pm 1.2}$ MeV/$c^2$, $Γ^{\rm tot}_{R(3760)}= {6.7\pm 11.1 \pm 1.1}$ MeV, $Γ^{ee}_{R(3760)}\mathcal B[R(3760)\rightarrow {J}/ψ{\rm X}]=(4.0\pm 4.3\pm 1.2)$ eV, $M_{R(3790)} = {3784.7\pm 5.7 \pm 1.6}$ MeV/$c^2$, $Γ^{\rm tot}_{R(3790)} = {31.6 \pm 11.9 \pm 3.2}$ MeV, $Γ^{ee}_{R(3790)}\mathcal B[R(3790)\rightarrow {J}/ψ{\rm X}]=(18.1\pm 10.3\pm 4.7)$ eV, where the first uncertainties are statistical and second systematic.

No significant $π^{+}π^{-} χ_{cJ}$ signals are observed at any center-of-mass energy, and thus upper limits are provided which also serve as limits for a possible charmonium-like structure in the invariant $π^{\pm} χ_{cJ}$ mass.

We report an amplitude analysis and branching fraction measurement of $D_{s}^{+} \rightarrow K^{+}K^{-}π^{+}$ decay using a data sample of 3.19 $\rm fb^{-1}$ recorded with BESIII detector at a center-of-mass energy of 4.178 GeV.
We perform a model-independent partial wave analysis in the low $K^{+}K^{-}$ mass region to determine the $K^{+}K^{-}$ S-wave lineshape, followed by an amplitude analysis of our very pure high-statistics sample.
The amplitude analysis provides an accurate determination of the detection efficiency allowing us to measure the branching fraction ${\cal B}(D_{s}^{+} \rightarrow K^{+}K^{-}π^{+}) = (5.47\pm0.08_{\rm stat}\pm0.13_{\rm sys})\%$.

The branching fraction is measured with improved precision to be $\left( 2.42\pm0.05_{stat.}\pm0.08_{syst.} \right) \times 10^{-3}$. Due to the inclusion of new data, this result supersedes the last BESIII result on this branching fraction. In addition, the CP-violating asymmetry in the angle between the decay planes of the $π^+π^-$-pair and the $e^+e^-$-pair is investigated. A measurable value would indicate physics beyond the standard model; the result is $\mathcal{A}_{CP} = \left(2.9\pm3.7_{stat.}\pm1.1_{syst.} \right)\%$, which is consistent with the standard model expectation of no CP-violation. The precision is comparable to the asymmetry measurement in the $K^0_L\toπ^+π^-e^+e^-$ decay where the observed $(14\pm2)\%$ effect is driven by a standard model mechanism.

We report a study of the processes of $e^+e^-\to K^+ (D_s^- D^{*0} + D^{*-}_s D^0)$ based on $e^+e^-$ annihilation samples collected with the BESIII detector operating at BEPCII at five center-of-mass energies ranging from 4.628 to 4.698 GeV with a total integrated luminosity of 3.7 fb$^{-1}$. An excess over the known contributions of the conventional charmed mesons is observed near the $D_s^- D^{*0}$ and $D^{*-}_s D^0$ mass thresholds in the $K^{+}$ recoil-mass spectrum for events collected at $\sqrt{s}=4.681$ GeV. The structure matches a mass-dependent-width Breit-Wigner line shape, whose pole mass and width are determined as $(3982.5^{+1.8}_{-2.6}\pm2.1)$ MeV/$c^2$ and $(12.8^{+5.3}_{-4.4}\pm3.0)$ MeV, respectively. The first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic. The significance of the resonance hypothesis is estimated to be 5.3 $σ$ over the contributions only from the conventional charmed mesons. This is the first candidate of the charged hidden-charm tetraquark with strangeness, decaying into $D_s^- D^{*0}$ and $D^{*-}_s D^0$. However, the properties of the excess need further exploration with more statistics.

We find significant $η_{\rm c}$ production in $e^+e^-\rightarrow η_{\rm c}π^+ π^-π^0$ at $\sqrt{s}$ of 4.23 GeV and 4.26 GeV and observe a significant energy-dependent Born cross section that we measure to be consistent with the production via the intermediate $Y(4260)$ resonance. In addition, we perform a search for a charmonium-like $Z_{\rm c}$ state close to the $D\bar{D}$ threshold that decays to $η_{\rm c}π$, involving ground state charmonium, and observe no signal. Corresponding upper limits on the cross section of $η_{\rm c}$ and $Z_{\rm c}$ production are provided, where the yields are not found to be significant.

The decay channel $h_c\rightarrow K^{+}K^{-}π^{+}π^{-}π^{0}$ is observed for the first time with a significance of $6.0 σ$. The corresponding branching fraction is determined to be $\mathcal{B}(h_c\rightarrow K^{+}K^{-}π^{+}π^{-}π^{0}) =(3.3 \pm 0.6 \pm 0.6)\times 10^{-3}$ (the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematical). Evidence for the decays $h_c\rightarrow π^{+} π^{-} π^{0} η$ and $h_c\rightarrow K^{0}_{S}K^{\pm}π^{\mp}π^{+}π^{-}$ is found with a significance of $3.6 σ$ and $3.8 σ$, respectively. The corresponding branching fractions (and upper limits) are obtained to be $\mathcal{B}(h_c\rightarrow π^{+} π^{-} π^{0} η) =(7.2 \pm 1.8 \pm 1.3)\times 10^{-3}$ $(< 1.8 \times 10^{-2})$ and $\mathcal{B}(h_c\rightarrow K^{0}_{S}K^{\pm}π^{\mp}π^{+}π^{-}) =(2.8 \pm 0.9 \pm 0.5)\times 10^{-3}$ $(<4.7\times 10^{-3})$. In this erratum we report a corrected evaluation of the statistical errors in terms of a fully propagated covariance matrix. The correction also yields a reduced statistical uncertainty for the hadronic vacuum polarization contribution to the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon, which now reads as $a_μ^{ππ\mathrm{, LO}}(600 - 900\,\mathrm{MeV}) = (368.2 \pm 1.5_{\rm stat} \pm 3.3_{\rm syst})\times 10^{-10}$. The central values of the cross section measurement and of $a_μ^{ππ\mathrm{, LO}}$, as well as the systematic uncertainties remain unchanged.

The Born cross sections of the $e^{+}e^{-}\toΣ^{+}\barΣ^{-}$ and $e^{+}e^{-}\toΣ^{-}\barΣ^{+}$ processes are determined with high precision for center-of-mass energy from 2.3864 to 3.0200 GeV with the BESIII detector. Nonzero cross sections near threshold are observed. The resulting ratio of effective form factors for the $Σ^{+}$ and $Σ^{-}$ is consistent with 3, agreeing with the ratio of the incoherent sum of the squared charges of the $Σ^{+}$ and $Σ^{-}$ valence quarks, but disagreeing with various theoretical predictions. In addition, ratios of the $Σ^{+}$ electric and magnetic form factors, $|G_{E}/G_{M}|$, are obtained at three center-of-mass energies through an analysis of the angular distributions. These measurements, which are studied for the first time in the off-resonance region, provide precision experimental input for understanding baryonic structure. The observed novel features of the $Σ^{\pm}$ form factors require a new theoretical description for the hyperons.

We present a measurement of the strong-phase difference between $D^{0}$ and $\bar{D}^{0}\to K^{0}_{\rm S,L}K^{+}K^{-}$ decays, performed through a study of quantum-entangled pairs of charm mesons. The measurement exploits a data sample equivalent to an integrated luminosity of 2.93~fb$^{-1}$, collected by the BESIII detector in $e^{+}e^{-}$ collisions corresponding to the mass of the $ψ(3770)$ resonance. The strong-phase difference is an essential input to the determination of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) angle $γ/φ_3$ through the decay $B^{-}\to DK^{-}$, where $D$ can be either a $D^{0}$ or a $\bar{D}^{0}$ decaying to $K^{0}_{\rm S,L}K^{+}K^{-}$. This is the most precise measurement to date of the strong-phase difference in these decays.

The statistical significances are $12.9σ$ and $7.7 σ$, respectively. The precision of $\mathcal{B}(D^0 \to ωπ^+π^-)$ is improved by a factor of 2.1 over the CLEO measurement, and $\mathcal{B}(D^+ \to ωπ^+π^0)$ is measured for the first time. No significant signal of $\mathcal{B}(D^0 \to ωπ^0π^0)$ is observed, and the upper limit on the branching fraction is $\mathcal{B}(D^0 \to ωπ^0π^0) < 1.10 \times 10^{-3}$ at the $90\%$ confidence level. The branching fractions of $D\to ηππ$ are also measured and consistent with existing results.

Information from each Monte Carlo simulated decay event is used to construct matrices connecting the detected distributions to the input predetection "produced" distributions. Assuming these matrices also apply to data, they are used to predict the analogous produced distributions of the decay events. Using these, the charged particle multiplicities are compared with results from MARK I. Further, comparison of the distributions of the number of photons in data with those in Monte Carlo simulation indicates that G-parity conservation should be taken into consideration in the simulation.

Using eleven Cabibbo-favored $\barΛ_c^-$ decay modes and the double-tag technique, this absolute branching fraction is measured to be $\mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+ \to K_S^0X)=(9.9\pm0.6\pm0.4)\%$, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. The relative deviation between the branching fractions for the inclusive decay and the observed exclusive decays is $(18.7\pm8.3)\%$, which indicates that there may be some unobserved decay modes with a neutron or excited baryons in the final state.

The relative phases of the form factors $ΔΦ$ have been measured to be $(-15.5\pm0.7\pm0.5)^{\circ}$ and $(21.7\pm4.0\pm0.8)^{\circ}$ with…

The relative phases of the form factors $ΔΦ$ have been measured to be $(-15.5\pm0.7\pm0.5)^{\circ}$ and $(21.7\pm4.0\pm0.8)^{\circ}$ with $J/ψ$ and $ψ(3686)$ data, respectively. The non-zero value of $ΔΦ$ allows for a direct and simultaneous measurement of the decay asymmetry parameters of $Σ^{+}\rightarrow p π^{0}~(α_0 = -0.998\pm0.037\pm0.009)$ and $\barΣ^{-}\rightarrow \bar{p} π^{0}~(\barα_0 = 0.990\pm0.037\pm0.011)$, the latter value being determined for the first time. The average decay asymmetry, $(α_{0} - \barα_{0})/2$, is calculated to be $-0.994\pm0.004\pm0.002$. The CP asymmetry $A_{\rm CP,Σ} = (α_0 + \barα_0)/(α_0 - \barα_0) = -0.004\pm0.037\pm0.010$ is extracted for the first time, and is found to be consistent with CP conservation.

We measured the branching fractions of the decays $χ_{cJ}\toΣ^{-}\barΣ^{+}$ for the first time using the final states $n\bar{n}π^{+}π^{-}$. The data sample exploited here is $448.1\times10^{6}$ $ψ(3686)$ events collected with BESIII. We find $\mathcal{B}(χ_{cJ}\rightarrowΣ^{-}\barΣ^{+}) = (51.3\pm2.4\pm4.1)\times10^{-5},\, (5.7\pm1.4\pm0.6)\times10^{-5},\, \rm{and}~ (4.4\pm1.7\pm0.5)\times10^{-5}$, for $J=0,1,2$, respectively, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic.

A resonance with quantum numbers $J^{PC}=1^{--}$ is observed with mass $M$ = (2177.5 $\pm$ 4.8 (stat) $\pm$ 19.5 (syst)) MeV/${ \it{c}^{\mathrm{2}}}$ and width $Γ$ = (149.0 $\pm$ 15.6 (stat) $\pm$ 8.9 (syst)) MeV with a statistical significance larger than 10$σ$. The observed structure could be identified with the $φ(2170)$, then the ratio of partial width between the $φη^{\prime}$ by BESIII and $φη$ by BABAR is ($\mathcal{B}^{R}_{φη}Γ^{R}_{ee})/{(\mathcal{B}^{R}_{φη^{\prime}}Γ^{R}_{ee})}$ = 0.23 $\pm$ 0.10 (stat) $\pm$ 0.18 (syst), which is smaller than the prediction of the $s\bar{s}g$ hybrid models by several orders of magnitude.
