Around the codifferential of products of p-forms and generalized interior products
Abstract: Identities pertaining to the de Rham codifferential δ in differential geometry are scattered in the literature. This article gathers such formulas involving usual differential operators (Lie derivative, Schouten-Nijenhuis bracket, ...), while adding a few new ones using a natural extension of the interior product, to provide a compact handy summary.

SO$(2,n)$-compatible embeddings of conformally flat $n$-dimensional submanifolds in $\mathbb{R}^{n+2}$
Abstract: We describe embeddings of $n$-dimensional Lorentzian manifolds, including Friedmann-Lemaître-Robertson-Walker spaces, in $\mathbb{R}^{n+2}$ such that the metrics of the submanifolds are inherited by a restriction from that of $\mathbb{R}^{n+2}$, and the action of the linear group SO$(2, n)$ of the ambient space reduces to conformal transformations on the submanifolds.

Asymptotic states and $S$-matrix operator in de Sitter ambient space formalism
Abstract: Within the de Sitter ambient space framework, the two different bases of the one-particle Hilbert space of the de Sitter group algebra are presented for the scalar case. Using field operator algebra and its Fock space construction in this formalism, we discuss the existence of asymptotic states in de Sitter QFT under an extension of the adiabatic hypothesis and prove the Fock space completeness th… ▽ More

Restriction of Laplace operator on one-forms: from $\mathbb{R}^{n+2}$ and $\mathbb{R}^{n+1}$ ambient spaces to embedded (A)dS$_n$ submanifolds
Abstract: The Laplace-de Rham operator acting on a one-form $a$: $\square a$, in $\mathbb{R}^{n+2}$ or $\mathbb{R}^{n+1}$ spaces is restricted to $n$-dimensional pseudo-spheres. This includes, in particular, the $n$-dimensional de Sitter and Anti-de Sitter space-times. The restriction is designed to extract the corresponding $n$-dimensional Laplace-de Rham operator acting on the corresponding $n$-dimensiona… ▽ More

Cartan approach to Teleparallel Equivalent to General Relativity: a review
Abstract: In previous works, questioning the mathematical nature of the connection in the translations gauge theory formulation of Teleparallel Equivalent to General Relativity (TEGR) Theory led us to propose a new formulation using a Cartan connection. In this review, we summarize the presentation of that proposal and discuss it from a gauge theoretic perspective.

Teleparallel gravity as a gauge theory: coupling to matter with Cartan connection
Abstract: We present a consistent and complete description of the coupling to matter in the Teleparallel Equivalent to General Relativity (TEGR) theory built from a Cartan connection, as we proposed in previous works. A first theorem allows us to obtain parallel transport from the Cartan connection into a proper Ehresmann connection, while a second ensures to link the TEGR-Cartan connection to the Ehresmann… ▽ More

Teleparallel theory as a gauge theory of translations: comments and issues
Abstract: The Teleparallel Equivalent to General Relativity (TEGR) is often presented as a gauge theory of translations, i.e., that uses \emph{only} the translation group $T_4 = (\setR^4, +)$ as its gauge group. In a previous work we argued against this \emph{translation-only} formalism on the basis of its mathematical shortcomings. We then provided an alternative proposal using a Cartan connection. Teleparallel gravity (TEGR) as a gauge theory: Translation or Cartan connection?
Abstract: In this paper we question the status of TEGR, the Teleparallel Equivalent of General Relativity,as a gauge theory of translations. We observe that TEGR (in its usual translation-gauge view) does not seem to realize the generally admitted requirements for a gauge theory for some symmetry group $G$: namely it does not present a mathematical structure underlying the theory which relates to a principa… ▽ More

FLRW spaces as submanifolds of $\mathbb{R}^6$: restriction to the Klein-Gordon operator
Abstract: The FLRW spacetimes can be realized as submanifolds of $\mathbb{R}^6$. In this paper we relate the Laplace-Beltrami operator for an homogeneous scalar field $φ$ of $\mathbb{R}^6$ to its explicit restriction on FLRW spacetimes. We then make the link between the homogeneous solutions of the equation $\square_6 φ= 0$ in $\mathbb{R}^6$ and those of the Klein-Gordon equation… ▽ More

Massive scalar field on (A)dS space from a massless conformal field in $\mathbb{R}^6$
Abstract: We show how the equations for the scalar field (including the massive, massless, minimally and conformally coupled cases) on de Sitter and Anti-de Sitter spaces can be obtained from both the SO$(2,4)$-invariant equation $\square φ= 0$ in $\mathbb{R}^6$ and two geometrical constraints defining the (A)dS space. Apart from the equation in $\mathbb{R}^6$, the results only follow from the geometry.

Conformal use of retarded Green's functions for the Maxwell field in de Sitter space

Wick ordering for coherent state quantization in 1+1 de Sitter space
Abstract: We show that the coherent state quantization of massive particles in 1+1 de Sitter space exhibits an ordering property: There exist some classical observables $A$ and $A^*$ such that $O_{A^{*p}}O_{A^q}=O_{A^{*p} A^q}$ $p, q \in \Z$, where $O_A$ is the quantum observable corresponding to the classical observable $A$.
