Short-flow-time expansion of quark bilinears through next-to-next-to-leading order QCD
Abstract: The gradient-flow formalism proves to be a useful tool in lattice calculations of quantum chromodynamics. For example, it can be used as a scheme to renormalize composite operators by inverting the short-flow-time expansion of the corresponding flowed operators. In this paper, we consider the short-flow-time expansion of five quark bilinear operators, the scalar, pseudoscalar, vector, axialvector,… ▽ More

AutoEFT: Automated Operator Construction for Effective Field Theories
Abstract: The program AutoEFT is described. It allows one to generate Effective Field Theories (EFTs) from a given set of fields and symmetries. Allowed fields include scalars, spinors, gauge bosons, and gravitons. The symmetries can be local or global Lie groups based on U(1) and SU(N). The mass dimension of the EFT is limited only by the available computing resources. The operators are stored in a compact… ▽ More

Effective electroweak Hamiltonian in the gradient-flow formalism
Abstract: The effective electroweak Hamiltonian in the gradient-flow formalism is constructed for the current-current operators through next-to-next-to-leading order QCD. The results are presented for two common choices of the operator basis. This paves the way for a consistent matching of perturbatively evaluated Wilson coefficients and non-perturbative matrix elements evaluated by lattice simulations.

Exact top-quark mass dependence in hadronic Higgs production
Abstract: The impact of the finite top-quark mass on the inclusive Higgs production cross section at higher perturbative orders has been an open question for almost three decades. Abstract: Within the minimal supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model, the mass of the light CP-even Higgs boson is computed to three-loop accuracy, taking into account the next-to-next-to-leading order effects from supersymmetric Quantum Chromodynamics. We consider two different scenarios for the mass hierarchies of the supersymmetric spectrum. Our numerical results amount to corrections of about 5… ▽ More

Running of $α_s$ and $m_b$ in the MSSM
Abstract: A consistent evolution of the strong coupling constant $α_s$ from $M_Z$ to the GUT scale is presented, involving three-loop running and two-loop decoupling. The two-loop transition from the MS- to the DR-scheme is properly taken into account. In the second part of the paper, the bottom quark mass in the DR-scheme at the electroweak/SUSY scale is evaluated with four-loop accuracy. We find that th… ▽ More

Four-loop beta function and mass anomalous dimension in Dimensional Reduction
Abstract: Within the framework of QCD we compute renormalization constants for the strong coupling and the quark masses to four-loop order. We apply the DR-bar scheme and put special emphasis on the additional couplings which have to be taken into account. This concerns the epsilon-scalar--quark Yukawa coupling as well as the vertex containing four epsilon-scalars. For a supersymmetric Yang Mills theory,… ▽ More

Pseudo-scalar Higgs production at next-to-leading order SUSY-QCD
Abstract: The production rate of the CP-odd Higgs boson in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model is evaluated through next-to-leading order in the strong coupling constant. The divergent integrals are regulated using Dimensional Reduction, with a straightforward implementation of $γ_5$. The result is confirmed within Dimensional Regularization where $γ_5$ is implemented according to the Standard Model… ▽ More

Supersymmetric Higgs production in gluon fusion at next-to-leading order
Abstract: The next-to-leading order (NLO) QCD corrections to the production and decay rate of a Higgs boson are computed within the framework of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM). The calculation is based on an effective theory for light and intermediate mass Higgs bosons. We provide a Fortran routine for the numerical evaluation of the coefficient function. For most of the MSSM parameter s… ▽ More

Hadronic Higgs Production and Decay in Supersymmetry at Next-to-Leading Order
Abstract: Supersymmetric QCD corrections to the gluonic production and decay rate of a CP-even Higgs boson are evaluated at next-to-leading order. To this aim, we derive an effective Lagrangian for the gluon-Higgs coupling. We show that a consistent calculation requires the inclusion of gluino effects, in contrast to what has been done previously. The supersymmetric corrections to the gluon-Higgs coupling… ▽ More

Higgs boson production in bottom quark fusion at next-to-next-to-leading order
Abstract: The total cross section for Higgs production in bottom-quark annihilation is evaluated at next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) in QCD. This is the first time that all terms at order alpha_s^2 are taken into account. We find a greatly reduced scale dependence with respect to lower order results, for both the factorization and the renormalization scales. The behavior of the result is consistent wi… ▽ More

Rhad: A program for the evaluation of the hadronic R-ratio in the perturbative regime of QCD
Abstract: This paper describes the fortran program rhad which performs a numerical evaluation of the photon-induced hadronic R-ratio, R(s), related to the cross section for electron-positron annihilation, for a given center-of-mass energy \sqrt{s}. In rhad the state-of-the-art perturbative corrections to R(s) are implemented and the running and decoupling of the strong coupling constant and the quark mass… ▽ More

Production of a pseudo-scalar Higgs boson at hadron colliders at next-to-next-to leading order
Abstract: The production cross section for pseudo-scalar Higgs bosons at hadron colliders is computed at next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) in QCD. The pseudo-scalar Higgs is assumed to couple only to top quarks. The NNLO effects are evaluated using an effective lagrangian where the top quarks are integrated out. The NNLO corrections are similar in size to those found for scalar Higgs boson production.

Next-to-Next-to-Leading Order Higgs Production at Hadron Colliders
Abstract: The Higgs boson production cross section at pp and p\bar{p} colliders is calculated in QCD at next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO). We find that the perturbative expansion of the production cross section is well behaved and that scale dependence is reduced relative to the NLO result. These findings give us confidence in the reliability of the prediction. We also report an error in the NNLO corre… ▽ More
