It is found that dTc/dRhoSC - the rate of decreasing Tc as a function of the RhoSC (RHoSC is the resistivity at T = Tc) - linearly increases with concentration x. Slow changes in the Hall coefficient RH, as well as the quadratic electronic contribution to the resistivity, show that there are no substantial changes in the topology of the Fermi surface caused by irradiation. The slopes of the upper critical field dHc2/dT in ab- and c-directions as a function of RHoSC determined by Hall measurements show a reasonable agreement with a model that suggests constancy of the band parameters.

Effect of atomic disordering induced by irradiation with fast neutrons on the properties of the normal and superconducting states of polycrystalline samples FeSe has been studied. The irradiation with fast neutrons of fluencies up to 1.25\cdot10^20 cm^-2 at the irradiation temperature Tirr ~ 50 \degree C results in relatively small changes in the temperature of the superconducting transition T_c and electrical resistivity Rho_25. Such a behavior is considered to be traceable to rather low, with respect to that possible at a given irradiation temperature, concentration of radiation defects, which is caused by a simpler crystal structure, considered to other layered compounds.

Resistivity r(T), Hall coefficient RH(T), superconducting temperature Tc, and the slope of the upper critical field -dHc2/dT were studied in poly- and single-crystalline samples of the Fe-based superconductor Lu2Fe3Si5 irradiated by fast neutrons. Atomic disordering induced by the neutron irradiation leads to a fast suppression of Tc similarly to the case of do** of Lu2Fe3Si5 with magnetic (Dy) and non-magnetic (Sc, Y) impurities. The same effect was observed in a novel FeAs-based superconductor La(O-F)FeAs after irradiation. Such behavior is accounted for by strong pair breaking that is traceable to scattering at non-magnetic impurities or radiation defects in unconventional superconductors. In such superconductors the sign of the order parameter changes between the different Fermi sheets (s+- model). Some relations that are specified for the properties of the normal and superconducting states in high-temperature superconductors are also observed in Lu2Fe3Si5. The first is the relationship -dHc2/dT ~ Tc, instead of the one expected for dirty superconductors -dHc2/dT ~ r0. The second is a correlation between the low-temperature linear coefficient a in the resistivity r = r0 + a1T, which appears presumably due to the scattering at magnetic fluctuations, and Tc; this correlation being an evidence of a tight relation between the superconductivity and magnetism. The data point to an unconventional (non-fononic) mechanism of superconductivity in Lu2Fe3Si5, and, probably, in some other Fe-based compounds, which can be fruitfully studied via the radiation-induced disordering.

The effect of atomic disorder induced by neutrons irradiation on superconducting and normal state properties of polycrystalline LaFeAsO_0.9F_0.1 was investigated. The irradiation of the sample by a moderate neutron fluence F = 1.6*1019 cm^-2 at Tirr = 50 +- 10 C leads to the suppression of superconductivity which recovers almost completely after annealing at temperatures Tann < 750 C. It is shown that the reduction of superconducting transition temperature Tc under atomic disordering is not determined solely by the value of Hall concentration nH, i.e. do** level, but is governed by the reduction of electronic relaxation time. This behavior can be described qualitatively by universal Abrikosov-Gorkov equation which presents evidence on the anomalous type of electrons pairing in Fe-based superconductors.

NMR line shift and nuclear spin-lattice relaxation rate T_1^{-1} of 11B and 25Mg were measured in superconducting MgB_2 (T_c^{ons}=38K) structurally disordered by nuclear reactor neutrons up to the fluence of thermal neutrons $Φ=1 10^{19} cm^{-2}. The temperature of superconducting transition was shifted down to T_{c,irrad}^{ons}=7K under irradiation. The change due irradiation in the partial electron density of states (DOS) at the Fermi energy of boron and magnesium were traced by taking into account that T_1^{-1} of 11B and 25Mg are determined by hyperfine magnetic interactions with carriers. It was revealed that electronic states near E_F of Mg are influenced negligibly by irradiation whereas partial DOS of the B 2p_{x,y} states reduces greatly in irradiated MgB_2. The NMR estimates for DOS using the McMillan formula show that critical temperature decreases in irradiated MgB_2 mainly due to reduction in the partial DOS of p states of boron.

We found that superconducting temperature $T_c$ decreases under irradiation from 40 to 5 K. Despite strong disordering (more than 10 dpa (displacements per atom)), the initial crystal structure is preserved. The residual resistivity $ρ_0$ increases from 0.35 to 2 m$Ω$ cm while $-dH_{c2}/dT$ remains approximately unchanged ($-dH_{c2}/dT \approx 0.5$ T/K), and such behavior may be interpreted as decrease in the density of electronic states.
