In the domain of music production and audio processing, the implementation of automatic pitch correction of the singing voice, also known as Auto-Tune, has significantly transformed the landscape of vocal performance. While auto-tuning technology has offered musicians the ability to tune their vocal pitches and achieve a desired level of precision, its use has also sparked debates regarding its impact on authenticity and artistic integrity. As a result, detecting and analyzing Auto-Tuned vocals in music recordings has become essential for music scholars, producers, and listeners. However, to the best of our knowledge, no prior effort has been made in this direction. This study introduces a data-driven approach leveraging triplet networks for the detection of Auto-Tuned songs, backed by the creation of a dataset composed of original and Auto-Tuned audio clips. The experimental results demonstrate the superiority of the proposed method in both accuracy and robustness compared to Rawnet2, an end-to-end model proposed for anti-spoofing and widely used for other audio forensic tasks.

The operator--valued parallelism and norm-parallelism in matrices
Authors:

Abstract:
Let $\mathcal{H}$ be a Hilbert space, and let $K(\mathcal{H})$ be the $C^*$-algebra of compact operators on $\mathcal{H}$. In this paper, we present some characterizations of the norm-parallelism for elements of a Hilbert $K(\mathcal{H})$-module by employing the Birkhoff--James orthogonality. Among other things, we present a characterization of transitive relation of the norm-parallelism for eleme…

In this paper, we present some characterizations of the norm-parallelism for elements of a Hilbert $K(\mathcal{H})$-module by employing the Birkhoff--James orthogonality. Among other things, we present a characterization of transitive relation of the norm-parallelism for elements in a certain Hilbert $K(\mathcal{H})$-module. We also give some characterizations of the Schatten $p$-norms and the operator norm-parallelism for matrices.

In this paper, we present some characterizations of the norm-parallelism for elements of a Hilbert $K(\mathcal{H})$-module $\mathcal{E}$ by employing the minimal projections on $\mathcal{H}$. Let $T,S\in \mathcal{L(\mathcal{E})}$. We show that $T \| S$ if and only if there exists a sequence of basic vectors $\{x_n\}^{ξ_n}$ in $\mathcal{E}$ such that $\lim_n [\langle Tx_n, Sx_n \rangle ξ_n, ξ_n ] = λ\| T\| \| S\|$ for some $λ\in \mathbb{T}$. In addition, we give some equivalence assertions about the norm-parallelism of "compact" operators on a Hilbert $C^*$-module.

We report the results of our classification-based machine translation model, built upon the framework of a recurrent neural network using gated recurrent units. Unlike other RNN models that attempt to maximize the overall conditional log probability of sentences against sentences, our model focuses a classification approach of estimating the conditional probability of the next word given the input sequence. This simpler approach using GRUs was hoped to be comparable with more complicated RNN models, but achievements in this implementation were modest and there remains a lot of room for improving this classification approach.
