This work is dedicated to the review and perspective of the new direction that we call "Neuropunk revolution" resembling the cultural phenomenon of cyberpunk. This new phenomenon has its foundations in advances in neuromorphic technologies including memristive and bio-plausible simulations, BCI, and neurointerfaces as well as unconventional approaches to AI and computing in general. We present the review of the current state-of-the-art and our vision of near future development of scientific approaches and future technologies. We call the "Neuropunk revolution" the set of trends that in our view provide the necessary background for the new generation of approaches technologies to integrate the cybernetic objects with biological tissues in close loop system as well as robotic systems inspired by the biological processes again integrated with biological objects. We see bio-plausible simulations implemented by digital computers or spiking networks memristive hardware as promising bridge or middleware between digital and (neuro)biological domains.

The Yakutsk Extensive Air Shower Array has been continuously operating for more than 50 years (since 1970) and up until recently it has been one of world's largest ground-based instruments aimed at studying the properties of cosmic rays in the ultra-high energy domain. In this report we discuss results recently obtained at the array - on cosmic rays energy spectrum, mass composition and directional anisotropy - and how they fit into the world data. Special attention is paid to the measurements of muonic component of extensive air showers. Theoretical results of particle acceleration at shocks are also briefly reviewed. Future scientific and engineering plans on the array modernization are discussed.

We study dynamics of a ring of three unidirectionally coupled double-well Duffing oscillators for three different values of the dam** coefficient: fixed dum**, proportional to time, and inversely proportional to time. The dynamics in all cases is analyzed through time series, Fourier and Hilbert transforms, Poincaré sections, as well as bifurcation diagrams and Lyapunov exponents with respect to the coupling strength. In the first case, we observe a well-known route from a stable steady state to hyperchaos through Hopf bifurcation and a series of torus bifurcations, as the coupling strength is increased. In the second case, the system is highly dissipative and converges into one of stable equilibria. Finally, in the third case, transient toroidal hyperchaos takes place.

The dynamics of memristive device in response to neuron-like signals and coupling electronic neurons via memristive device has been investigated theoretically and experimentally. The simplest experimental system consists of electronic circuit based on the FitzHugh-Nagumo model and metal-oxide memristive device. The hardware-software complex based on commercial data acquisition system is implemented for the imitation of signal from presynaptic neuron`s membrane and synaptic signal transmission between neurons. The main advantage of our system is that it uses real time dynamics of memristive device. Electrical response of memristive device shows its behavioral flexibility that allows presenting a memristive device as an active synapse. This means an internal adjustment of the parameters of memristive device that leads to modulation of neuron-like signals. Physics-based dynamical model of memristor is developed in MATLAB for numerical simulation of such a memristive interface to describe and predict experimentally observed regularities of synchronization of neuron-like oscillators. FitzHugh-Nagumo circuits time series with a linear or stepwise increase in the signal amplitude are used to study the memristor response and coupling of neuron-like oscillators taking into account the stochasticity of memristor model to compare the numerical and experimental data. The observed forced synchronization modes characterize the dynamic complexity of the memristive device, which requires further description using high-order dynamical models. The developed memristive interface will provide high efficiency in the imitation of the synaptic connection due to its stochastic nature and can be used to increase the flexibility of neuronal connections for neuroprosthetic challenges.

Abstract:
It is proposed a new approach for estimating the composition of cosmic rays. It is found that the zenith angle distributions and muon components of EAS for energies E>10^19 eV and E>4.10^19 eV differ from each other. It is shown that the cosmic rays above E>4.10^19 eV is heavier than the cosmic rays at energy E~ 10^19 eV. According to our estimation the SUGAR array detected 8 showers above 10^20…

It is shown that the cosmic rays above E>4.10^19 eV is heavier than the cosmic rays at energy E~ 10^19 eV. According to our estimation the SUGAR array detected 8 showers above 10^20 eV. It is concluded that no sign of Greisen-Zatsepin-Kuzmin (GZK) cut off in the spectrum of cosmic rays and all cosmic rays are galactic.
