Global Map** of Exposure and Physical Vulnerability Dynamics in Least Developed Countries using Remote Sensing and Machine Learning
Abstract: As the world marked the midterm of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030, many countries are still struggling to monitor their climate and disaster risk because of the expensive large-scale survey of the distribution of exposure and physical vulnerability and, hence, are not on track in reducing risks amidst the intensifying effects of climate change. Abstract: In the present paper, we obtain an explicit product formula for products of multiple integrals w.r.t. a random measure associated with a Lévy process. Tubular Cluster Algebras II: Exponential growth
Abstract: Among the mutation finite cluster algebras the tubular ones are a particularly interesting class. We show that all tubular (simply laced) cluster algebras are of exponential growth by two different methods: first by studying the automorphism group of the corresponding cluster category and second by giving explicit sequences of mutations.

A note on Malliavin fractional smoothness for Lévy processes and approximation
Abstract: Assume a Lévy process $X$ on the time interval $[0,1]$ that is an $L_2$-martingale and let $Y$ be either its stochastic exponential or $X$ itself. We consider Riemann-approximations of certain stochastic integrals driven by $Y$ and relate the $L_2$-approximation rates to the Malliavin fractional smoothness of the integral to be approximated. The Malliavin fractional smoothness is described by Beso… ▽ More

Factorial cluster algebras
Abstract: We show that cluster algebras do not contain non-trivial units and that all cluster variables are irreducible elements. Both statements follow from Fomin and Zelevinsky's Laurent phenomenon. As an application we give a criterion for a cluster algebra to be a factorial algebra. This can be used to construct cluster algebras, which are isomorphic to polynomial rings. We also study various kinds of u… ▽ More

Cluster structures on quantum coordinate rings
Abstract: We show that the quantum coordinate ring of the unipotent subgroup N(w) of a symmetric Kac-Moody group G associated with a Weyl group element w has the structure of a quantum cluster algebra. This quantum cluster structure arises naturally from a subcategory C_w of the module category of the corresponding preprojective algebra. An important ingredient of the proof is a system of quantum determinan… ▽ More

Generalized fractional smoothness and $L_p$-variation of BSDEs with non-Lipschitz terminal condition
Abstract: We relate the $L_p$-variation, $2\le p < \infty$, of a solution of a backward stochastic differential equation with a path-dependent terminal condition to a generalized notion of fractional smoothness. This concept of fractional smoothness takes into account the quantitative propagation of singularities in time.

$n$-angulated categories
Abstract: We define $n$-angulated categories by modifying the axioms of triangulated categories in a natural way. We show that Heller's parametrization of pre-triangulations extends to pre-$n$-angulations. We obtain a large class of examples of $n$-angulated categories by considering $(n-2)$-cluster tilting subcategories of triangulated categories which are stable under the $(n-2)$nd power of the suspension… ▽ More

Generic bases for cluster algebras and the Chamber Ansatz
Abstract: Let Q be a finite quiver without oriented cycles, and let $Λ$ be the corresponding preprojective algebra. Let g be the Kac-Moody Lie algebra with Cartan datum given by Q, and let W be its Weyl group. With w in W is associated a unipotent cell N^w of the Kac-Moody group with Lie algebra g. In previous work we proved that the coordinate ring \C[N^w] of N^w is a cluster algebra in a natural way. A ce… ▽ More

Kac-Moody groups and cluster algebras
Abstract: Let Q be a finite quiver without oriented cycles, let Λbe the associated preprojective algebra, let g be the associated Kac-Moody Lie algebra with Weyl group W, and let n be the positive part of g. For each Weyl group element w, a subcategory C_w of mod(Λ) was introduced by Buan, Iyama, Reiten and Scott. It is known that C_w is a Frobenius category and that its stable category is a Calabi-Yau cate… ▽ More

Denseness of certain smooth Lévy functionals in $\DD_{1,2}$
Abstract: The Malliavin derivative for a Lévy process $(X_t)$ can be defined on the space $\DD_{1,2}$ using a chaos expansion or in the case of a pure jump process also via an increment quotient operator \cite{sole-utzet-vives}. In this paper we define the Malliavin derivative operator $\D$ on the class $\mathcal{S}$ of smooth random variables $f(X_{t_1}, ..., X_{t_n}),$ where $f$ is a smooth function wit… ▽ More
